Hey friends, welcome to Daily Family Bible, where we talk with our families about the Bible. So, who do we have on the show today? Today we have Maddie with us, Maddie, thank you for being here. Do you have a joke for us by chance? Why are failing grades like a shipwreck? They're both below sea level. Okay. Yes. And when you're feeling you do kind of feel like you're underwater, yeah? But you probably have never felt that way. Am I right? Yes. Yes, but you can imagine. All right, let's get to the Bible. What's our verse for today? Maddie, can you read Matthew 24, verse 42? Okay. So keep watch. You do not have to watch. You do not know on what day your Lord will come. Awesome. Perfect.
Great reading. That is from Matthew 24. And in this chapter, Jesus is speaking and he's saying he's going to come back, right? And that's right. You know, in the middle of that we read in verse 42, keep watch. You do not know on what day your Lord will come. And so it makes me think about churches. Is this coming back? We don't know when. And maybe what should we do or how should we act while we wait? What do you think? Well, my pastor was talking about this this week too, but he was saying you should always live like there's only two days on the calendar, like there's today. But then there's the day when Jesus is coming back. But so it's like live today. Like it's that day tomorrow. Okay.
Yeah. Wow. We live a lot differently if we took that seriously, right? Yeah. Yeah. There's today. And then live like tomorrow is the day Jesus is coming back. Wow. That's a really cool perspective.
