00I like keeping my money where I can see it. Crazy concept, right? Well, unfortunately, traditional big wireless carriers like to keep my money too. For years, I just accepted it. The high bills, random fees, free perks that somehow made my billing in higher. But then you finally reach that point where you slap yourself on the forehead and make the switch to mint mobile. The difference is pretty incredible. They got plans starting at just 15 bucks a month. Yeah, I said 15. And all plans come with high speed data and unlimited talk and text. All in the nation's largest 5G network. Switching is shockingly simple. You keep your phone, you keep your number, and you can activate in minutes with ESIM. No long-term contracts, no hassle, ditch overpriced wireless and get three months of premium wireless service from Mint Mobile for just 15 bucks a month. If you like your money and I know you do, Mint Mobile is for you. Shop plans at mintmobile.com slash kid. That's mintmobile.com slash KIDD. Up front payment of $45 for three month five gigabyte plan required equivalent to $15 a month.

So there's this hack on social media. So if you have a toddler in your life or you know, you're an aunt or an uncle, grandma, grandpa, or maybe you have one yourself as a parent, they throw tantrums. That's what they do. And the one thing you want to figure out is how do I stop those tantrums? Because sometimes nothing will do it. Does this work on grown men? No, well, not work on grown men. Actually, actually, maybe, maybe perhaps it could work on grown men. So a family physician named Dr. Deborah Gilboa said that she found out the element of surprise

06is what can help a tantrum stop. Shock it out of them. Shock it out of them. And she decided to yell out Jessica. Just yell out Jessica or any name. That is not the toddler's name. And what she found is that the kid will then be like, what, what confusion? Confusion. Start flicking around. Like, why were you on Jessica? I'm the one crying. Distracted. Distraction. So I was holding on to this in my back pocket, because we had Easter at my house yesterday. And my niece, Eleano, was coming over. And how does she know she's a toddler? She's two. Okay. Oh, that's prime tantrum. She is in the tantrum age, especially when she sees me. For some reason, she sees uncle Jose. Tantrum. Oh, that's what happens. So I was holding on to the back pocket. And finally, after she had been playing with my daughter all day and behaving very nicely, she had her first tantrum. Okay. And everybody's looking around like, oh, no. It was finally, because I wanted. I was ready for the day. I got it. I got it. Y'all. I got it. My sister was about to get up.

07And maybe she, I said, stop. I got this. Let her cry for like two seconds. You guys watch this. And so I let her cry for about five. I let it go to 10 seconds. Everybody's plugging their ear. And I finally go Jessica. And she stopped. She did. She looked at me. And then she went and cried harder. So after my field study, the yelling Jessica for my niece did not particularly work very well. But according to other parents and social media and TikTok and TikTok, this works maybe 95 percent of the time. Well, are you supposed to like, I saw stuff ends up in your algorithm where everybody started throwing a slice of cheese on their kids head. And that stopped them. That's a lot of the element of surprise. And they're like, I don't know what just happened. And then they get a snack. So apparently throwing a slice of cheese on their head stops it. Yeah. And that one's less loud. Do we need to carry a slice of cheese around with us? I don't know. As parenting grandparents. And it's got to be the American cheese that unwraps that those work the best. They're the stickiest. Yeah. You should try this on

09Charlie. That way we get a different age. Absolutely. Yeah. Because she does do a throw a tantrum from time to time. I feel like she's she's going to throw the cheese back. And harder. Yeah. From the text, 100 percent did not work on my niece. Just made it worse. Yeah. Same. Over here. I saw video of a mom on TikTok. She did it. But she was looking for the pretend person. Oh, I saw that too. Because the boy started crying. She goes, Stephanie. Stephanie, where is Stephanie? And the kids like, who? What's going on? Where is she? She goes, Oh, I guess Stephanie's not here anymore. The kids stopped crying. See, so it works for them. We are. Maybe it's not maybe it's not the yelling that that makes it worse. It's the subtract the surprise, the distraction. Maybe I should have said Jessica a little bit softer than screaming and looked and looked for her. Right. Yeah. I did. And throw a slice of cheese on their head. Why not? I don't think throwing anything at my niece would help. From the text, we have a one and a half year old. We find ourselves yelling Jessica more often than not now. Whoever Jessica is. Big shout out to you. What about Daisy cottage cheese? Only Daisy cottage cheese will do. That's what we'll do.

09Try singing the theme song. Maybe that'll help. I did go. I did go kind of viral on our on our YouTube page a while ago in case my son was really little because I learned the shushing method. So they said if they're like really small, you can hold them like a football belly down and you put them up close to your mouth and you go, and that actually worked on my son. But I did get a lot of hate on those comments. So I stopped, I stopped reading it. Like the kids are going to go death. I'm going to give that kid brain damage. You're doing all this. So I told him I got to redo the video and show him. Look at him now. Yeah. There you go. He's all tall. He's bigger than me. And he can, his hearing's not very good. It's not very good. So again, you got a toddler in your life and you want to get him to stop crying. Apparently shouting the name Jessica and looking for her is going to do the trick. That's the slice of cheese guy. Thank you. Unless it's my niece, it's my niece, not going to happen. And that's how it goes sometimes. All right. We got three names, random names that we're going to pull out here for the Florida family fly away. Now, if you signed up,

11have that phone close by, you could win a vacation. If you haven't signed up, you haven't missed out yet because we're going to keep doing this.
