So in a few minutes, we'll call him and see if I tell swise ghosting her and maybe get her a second date. But first, let's find out more about the date. Jenna, how long has it been since you heard from Nick? Hey, um, well, we went on our date about a week ago. Um, and I did text him afterwards and we had it so concerned. So it's been about a week. I'm probably being dramatic. I don't understand that. But as you kind of feel like I need closer after this, because it was such a good date in my perspective. Um, you're not being dramatic. It is never okay to ghost somebody. And after a week of sitting there second guessing yourself. Shoot, you need answers. Oh, yeah.

Okay. So, um, he and I, we met at my bar. He suggested, and I thought it was so nice. And it was like, through a message, you know, it was another vibe. I had kind of like low lighting and sort of brick on the wall. And like cozy little sort of like, um, benching for us to sit in and talk for the news, or they kind of wrote like this specialty. Why is that I honestly just like pretend to understand? Because I'm not like a line of this, you know, uh, um, you know, it's kind of like one of those races where, you know, server's going to ask like, what notes of line do you like? And I was just kind of like, great. I like great. All right. He was funny. He was very cute. He ordered very confidently, which I really liked. Um, I kind of just like followed his, you know, I'm order for us, um, a bottle. And I mean, we ended up talking for like two hours about, I mean, all kind of felt like our childhood pets and, um, roommate situations that we've had that was been terrible.

And we talked about, you know, places we want to travel. Just like all those kind of neat, nice things, which is so great. And he was very funny, kind of without trying to be and he had sort of like a dry humor, which I really liked. He was chill. So it made me feel very relaxed because I was kind of a little out of my element. Um, it was a really great day. So at the end of the night, we were outside and he did kiss me, which was so great. It just felt like the natural sort of, you know, next step. Mm-hmm. And I just, I don't know, I kind of walked away feeling like, you know, most guys on a date, they just really talk at you. And I just feel like he like talked with me. And it was so nice. So he was like, no man's blaming or anything. So, but of course, like replying it back in my head, this awkward thing happened that I'm just like, has to be the reason I'm getting guessed it. So for some reason, I felt why I did this for like the majority of the date. I kept calling him Rick.

Um, uh, what was his name again? And his name was Nick. And I called him Rick. And like, oh, he was so polite. And he did correct me after like the second glass of wine. So it wasn't like super long into the date. And he, of course, I was mortified. And he was like, he played it off. Like, it's not a problem, you know, and, and it's kind of funny. He became like an inside joke between us to offer up to the date about, oh, Rick, you know, oh, Rick and all that kind of stuff. So anyway, I guess I just felt like maybe that's the reason I'm getting ghosted. Maybe he took offense to it and he was just trying to be nice. I don't know me. He did choose to kiss me, but he did a week afterwards. And I did send him like a playful text afterwards. And kind of called him Rick in the text and was like, you know, kind of like, so nice to meet you, Rick. Like, you know, yeah, you're being funny. I've been thinking about the how to be the thing that pushed him over the edge. And now he just doesn't want to call me. And I'm so embarrassed, but I do need closure because it was a really good date

for my first practice. And you will have you ever ghosted somebody after kissing them on a date? I always find that so strange. As far as just like a pity kiss kind of, you know, he's like, well, I mean, they want to kiss like they're coming in for a kiss. It's like might as well. Why did I ask? Why did I ask? Why did I ask? Well, I got clarity. Kisses mean nothing. Or you're into it. And then you like drive away and you start thinking about it like, yeah, no. Yeah, I didn't have to do that. Jenna is on the phone and she's getting ghosted by a guy named Nick. So we're about to call him. And see if they tell us why he's ghosting her and maybe get her a second date. But before we do that, Jenna, why don't you break down your date with Nick again for us real quick? Okay. So I went on a date with Nick. He was really great to a wine bar. Had an amazing time. And we shared a kiss at the end of the night. But he did let me know awkwardly halfway through the date that I kept calling him Rick on. I said I didn't put a stick. It's the same as inside jokes. And it felt fine. But now a week later after him ghosting me, I'm wondering if it's just because I called him by the wrong name. And he was a friend. All right.

Well, are you ready to see if that is the reason he's ghosting you? Yeah, let's do it. Okay. Here we go. I'm Rick too. Yeah, maybe we should. I'm going to call him right now. Here we go. Hello? Hi, man. Speak to Nick, please. This is him. Hey, Nick. How are you? Hi, Nick. I'm Nina. Hi, I'm Victoria. And my name is Jewel. What's up? Oh, wow. You said the radio? Yes. Have you ever heard of the Jewel show before? I have. Okay. Cool. Well, this is the second we do on the show called a first date follow up. That's where if you go out on a date with somebody and you end up ghosting them, they can email us to give you a call and ask why you're ghosting. So we got an email about you from somebody. Oh, boy. Any idea who might be emailing us to get hold of you?

Was it Jenna by any chance? A Jenna? Yes. It is Jenna. You got it right. She told us about your dates that she liked you a lot, but you can't figure out why you're ghosting her. Would you mind telling us? Yeah. It was very weird. She moved the meats around. She kept moving the meats around. She kept moving the meats around. What do you mean? The Shakota Reboard. We got the ordered one. Yeah. Okay. It was very weird. So she was just shuffling the meat around on the Shakota Reboard? So moving the meats. Yeah. It was almost like a little OCD. Like she organized the crackers by size, the meats. So they weren't touching the cheeses. It was, it just, it seemed very controlling to me. So it was more than just like she was putting her hands all over the meat and moving it around. And by the way, it's more like you think it's a control thing? Yeah. Yeah. Just seemed a little much.

Maybe she thought she was looking out for you. You just didn't feel that. I did not. I just, I just, I've seen how these things go. This was just not a good sign. Wait. You've been in a situation like this before? You know with women, not now. Gorgeous. Let me tell you. Gorgeous. But just seemed a little intense for me. She's gorgeous. Moves the meats, but she's intense. You're worried she's controlling because she wouldn't stop moving the meat around on your Shakota Reboard. Sounds like you took the word right out of my mouth there. Thank you. That's exactly what I was thinking. Well, hey, man. Thank you for being honest with us. Now that you know that Jenna is actually on the phone and would like to talk to you. Are you serious? Yeah. Jenna? Okay. You ghosted me over our Shakota Reboard. That is very odd behavior. It is not just the Shakota Reboard. This is what it leads to. It's what it means.

What do you mean what it means? It was a chaos. And I was trying to like coordinate the meats and cheeses and the crackers to go to wine that you think so into. And it's pairings. That makes no sense to me. It starts with the Shakota Reboard. And then it leads to just our lives. Like, I'm just telling you, that's how it tips this was here for you. It was just meats. Nick, Nick, I lined up crackers. I didn't feel your social security number. Okay. You thought I was one of the most beautiful people you've ever seen and gone out with. And because I lined up crackers wrong, you think I'm going to like control your lives? You are very gorgeous. And that must lead to you being so very meticulous and, you know, very well put together. Because I mean, that's proof. But it just starts there. And you're welcome for that. I look beautiful because I'm meticulous. We enjoyed the Shakota Reboard because I'm meticulous. So what the big thing is for me is that you just disappeared instead of using your words like an adult man should do.

And you give it a right there. I mean, you said that we enjoyed the Shakota Reboard when clearly I did not. I was just very uncomfortable. I was very confused. You're already trying to control my feelings. And I am a man myself. I have my own opinions. And I don't know your feelings. I'm not going to control your feelings. You know what you need? You actually need therapy. You need to go to therapy and talk this out with somebody. You clearly have emotional issues and you're emotionally allergic to organization, I guess. And just like that, you think because of the Shakota Reboard, I don't agree that I need therapy. You see how that sounds? Is that your automatic, you know, result to everybody in your lives that they need therapy if they don't agree with you? No. I'm not saying everyone needs therapy that doesn't agree with me. I'm saying you, in particular, need therapy. If you go on a date with a beautiful and credible woman, you self-proclaimed that I'm beautiful. You were the one that initiated the kiss.

And then all of a sudden, I'm like controlling because I tried to make an elevated experience. That to me is a you problem. And you need to go to therapy for that. Anyway. Hot women, that's where it's the saying crazy thing that happens. Oh, we're just so crazy. We're just so crazy. You love when we take time to look good and show up and do all that stuff for you and go to your fancy wine places and do all this stuff. And then I'm there. You know what? Anyway, I do not want to date someone. Oh, yeah. I was just about to ask Nick, would you like another date with Jenowell Pay for it? No. I really need to start looking for different women. Okay. I can't do this. You know what? And that's fine. Good luck finding anyone out who's willing to move you or me because I foresee that you're probably going to be touching your salami by yourself for a while. We were worried about that. I'll go send somebody out. Thank you. Jubel's first date follow-up.

It was from the Blue Square Alliance against hate and it wasn't loud or flashy. It showed a Jewish kid being targeted at school and another student who chose not to ignore it. As someone who was Jewish, that moment felt very real to me. Not dramatic, just familiar. And what struck me was how clearly it showed that hate doesn't always announce itself.

But the impact is still huge. If you saw the Blue Square spot during the big game, it's worth thinking about. And if you want to show support, sharing the Blue Square is one small way to do that.
