Jelavić's Freshman Rollercoaster at Kentucky

The six-foot-eleven Croatian started as a key bench player, then got sideline for stretches, and ended up starting the final 20 games after. Another big man took over. Early on, he played double-digit minutes in his first 10 outings, putting up six points and 4.3 rebounds per game on solid shooting. But right after a couple strong showings, he barely saw the floor in the next five games, sitting out against teams like Indiana and Alabama as a new. Freshman debuted.
