Jayson Tatum's Return: Celtics' Deep Playoff Run?

Boston Celtic star Jason Tatum is expected to return this season after suffering a torn Achilles tendon last May. ESPN reporter Tim McMan said on Get Up that it's just a matter of when, not if, the 28-year-old will suit up again. Right after the injury, Tatum made quit progress. A month later, Celtic's president Brad Stevens noted he was doing great, and a surgeon called the recovery remarkable. By September, Tatum himself said he had not ruled out playing in the 2025-26 season. In early February, he started to control five on five scrimmages. By month's end, reports said he was a full-go in practice. Tatum comes off a strong year, with 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 6 assists per game.
