On March 6th, here's the latest surrounding the NBA. Boston Celtic star Jason Tatum is clear to play as soon as Friday after bouncing back from a ruptured Achilles tendon. Folks figured his whole season was toast right from the start since the injury hit during last year's playoffs. The team played it safe by trading Jura, Holiday, and Kristav's Porzingus to trim their payroll and build for the future. And so, Boston has crushed it this year with a 41 and 21 record, holding down second place in the east. Fans cannot wait to see the six-time All-Star back on the court before the postseason kicks off. That said, no one expects him to pick up exactly where he left off after such a long layoff. A good example comes from Paul George, who broke his leg in the offseason back in 2014. He returned for the pace's last six games, but came off the bench, putting up just 8.8 points in about 15 minutes a night. Coach Joe Mazula figures to bring Tatum along slowly to avoid any risks.

The real win here could be getting him sharp mentally and physically for opening night next fall. Appreciation to our sponsor for backing this episode. Your pillow, your podcast, your moment, made for listening in bed, S-O-L-I, solelypillow.com.
