Jared Curtis: Vanderbilt's Bright Young Star

The class of 2026 standout flipped his commitment from Georgia to the Commodore's last December, becoming the highest ranked recruit in program history. He enrolled early and even practiced the head of their really a quest bowl game. Curtis wrapped up high school at Nashville Christian with back-to-back state titles in Division 2A. In his final year, he threw for 2,073 yards and 36 touchdowns against just six picks. He also ran for 614 yards and 11 scores. Former Vanderbilt quarterback and NFL pro-bola Jay Cutler is a big fan. Cutler watched Curtis play before the holidays and raved about his skills. The ex-comodore sees Curtis as the heir to last year's starter and predicts a strong future. Cutler himself starred for Vanderbilt from 2001 to 2005, throwing for nearly 9,000 yards and 59 touchdowns. He went on to a solid NFL career, including time with the Broncos and Bears,
