Conox have just announced moments ago, the confirmation of a report Rick had, but that's that your Demko sideline for the remainder of the season? Yep. Hip surgery is coming out. Wow. For Demko. There you go. Not pop the teas. Yep. But that's not great kids because he, as you remember, he's had hip surgery once. Bow on both hips.

2:01Very common for goal tenders with the way they play these days, but the hip surgery goes back to before we played a pro game, right? Call it, Rick. This is not surprising to me because I was told it was not the groin Don. Everybody assumed the groin when you got hurt two and a half weeks ago in Toronto. Everyone assumed the knee. Poplites is a part of the knee, but I was told it was something else. And here you go. And everybody jumped right to the conclusion. It could be the hip or lower back, but it's the hip. And you nailed it. It'll be any body part with the side of your Demko. As long as it's lower. I don't need to be part of me. As long as it's lower, yeah. Because that's been his entire career history and vinduaries is lower body. Can you often ask that? Is the hip lower upper? This is very, this is called the mid body category. This is the right thing to do. He's only played 43 games the last two years. It is time to fix so low. And Don, okay, now I'm yelling.

3:02It is time, Don, to sit this guy down. Get him 100% healthy because now his contract goes from five to 8.5 million. And Don, this is critical. Take as soon as he was hurt, I was told they're gonna take their time. Do their due diligence. It's been two and a half weeks. And this is what they've come up with. Hip surgery, it's time. He is, go ahead. No, go, go, go. He has played a total of 43 games in the last two years. 43 for your number one gold tender. He should be playing that in one year, not too Don. Not too wise. It's all obvious stuff, though. What do you mean it's obvious? I want to say this, though, that there are gonna be people who criticize the organization for extending their number one gold tender. That's legit, that's legit. It is? Because I, okay, hold on a second here. And I'll actually defend the organization here. When that contract was signed, I don't remember a lot of people complaining about it.

4:03A lot of people thought it was a smart move. Because relatively speaking, when you're talking about a number one gold tender, that contract's not all that long. It looks really bad right now. But at the time, it was thought to be a pretty smart move. Yeah, I liked the fact it was only three years. Yeah. Hey, imagine this city, if they would have given Demko six, seven years, instead of three. Oh my gosh. Imagine the city, the uproar. That would be the first time they've made a mistake with the contract. If that trick comes out of this, 100% this summer into training camp, 100%. And he can get back to his old form and play 50, 55 games a year, which you want from your number one gold tender. Not 20. I think the chances are of that happening. Given that this is hip surgery, if I had to guess which one, which ailment of the past has reared its ugly head again, I would have probably said popliteous or growing

5:04just because they're more recent. But now we find out it's hip surgery, a problem, as far as we know, in terms of the documentation, that he had a long time ago, relatively speaking. So there's a quote from Patrick Alvin. After consulting with our team doctors and outside specialists, Demko shut down for the rest of the year. This is the interesting part. That's just going to undergo surgery next week for an injury related to the one that kept him out of action. Unrelated. Unrelated. Unrelated to the one that kept him out of action last season. Following his rehab, he'll be ready for the start of training camp in September. He will be ready for camp. So it's unrelated to the popliteous, right? That's what they're saying for the last season, right? Unrelated to the popliteous. Well, there's growing issues as well. I know. So I mean, I just can't keep it up. Pick a body part. I can't keep it all straight. You can't criticize them. I mean, it's just like, I remember Ray Ferraro saying years ago on our show

6:04that in terms of body makeup, some players can handle the rigors of a national hockey league season. And not much they can do about it, better than others, or worse than others, right? Yes. And he's one of these players whose body has failed him on several occasions. And no matter what you do in terms of surgery, in terms of rehab, in terms of preparing yourself, you're just not made for the rigors of professional hockey. So is that, and then paraphrasing here when it comes to Ray, but I remember him saying that. So is that a guy you rushed to sign last off season? Okay, okay, but tell me I'm wrong. I've never heard that before. In regards to that contract, I don't remember a lot of people going, oh my God, this is absolutely horrible. Because at the time, the thinking was that in order to turn things around for the connox, you needed to act your damn code. And short term, and again, relatively speaking,

7:06at the time it seemed like the deal was okay at the very, really. So right now it looks bad, right now it looks bad. But at the time, I don't remember a lot of people criticizing. We clearly should have been though. Like I don't, I still, I didn't give you that. Brian, that is such an obvious thing to say. Yeah, yeah, now it's easy to say that at the time. Yeah, but even then though, even before the season happened, you rushed to sign a guy coming off an injury that took up his entire summer, that was only in soccer pool. You weren't saying this at the time. But again, I'm with him, but I'm regretting that. But I'm regretting that. Okay, but that's obvious. No sense to me. That's obvious. I get this could be way, way worse. And you hope the best for that your damn code. And it was a favor to yours, Ryan. You hope the best for that your, that your damn code. Jamie McClendon also a big fan of that your damn code. All sort of to tell, but listen, when, you know, when, you know, the final chapter is written in that your damn code is a professional hockey book.

8:09Especially in Vancouver. That, well, not every chapter is going to be dominated by injuries. That's going to be the number one. It's a great potential. Great moments as a matter of fact. In fact, and, and, but it's going to be dominated by the fact he couldn't stay healthy. His best moment is a crack looking back. I don't know what you guys think, but it might be in the bubble. Yeah. When he took over from Jacob Marks to a member of Vick, I'm always remember they took Vegas to seven games. And I always remember Vegas, Vegas players going up to that your damn code. And I don't know what exactly they were saying, but I got the idea that just of it was you'll stole this series. And that was it. And then since then, it's been dominated. His career has been dominated by injuries. And I don't know how much he can do about it. He's just got one of those bodies that Ray, Ray, for our talked about. Bubble, damn code. He was so great that the only reason that series, which seven games don't was, was because of the debacle. And right after that series, they had to make a decision

9:09on Marks from a debacle. Don't forget, they had to make, they had a small window to come out of the bubble. Marks from was a UFA. They hadn't talked much contract with him, and they had to pick between the two. They made the right choice at the top, but I'm just saying at that time, you know, he's the one to push. I remember Marks from up in the press box, or whatever the case was during the bubble. It's somewhat of a distant memory. It was just seems so strange. They were going with this kid, but it all, it really, really worked out. When he, and I saw, I mean, I'm making it sound like he's retiring here. But when he's been at his best, when he was at his best, he was very, very impressive. I mean, look at the diagnosis. It was on and on about him. How great he's been when he's at his best. But man, it's frustrating. And this is yet another chapter to that story. I keep using that phrase. But nothing more frustrating than what happened in round one, 2024 playoffs.

10:09That's what you're looking at. That's what you're looking at. Lord knows how far they might have gone. Nothing against Archer's sea loaves. Yeah. But Lord knows how far they might have gone. Had Demko been healthy for that, for that whole pool season. Great move by the team right now to shut him down, Donnie. Get him 100% healthy. And this time, no, they've got no other choice. They've got no other choice. They've got no other choice. There's no reason to bring him back. They're in 32nd place. They're not going anywhere. They're going to be dead last this year. Most likely dead last next year. Why the hell would you bring him back this year? This is the smart move. It's a smart move. I wonder, and I don't know if you know anything, like, are they going to do something different this time around in terms of having people that they haven't used in the past? Medically. Well, looking at him, taking care of him, just a different person. Well, here's one for you, Don. They push D in Clark to the side about a year and a half ago. Well, he had his own medical issues with the needs. Yeah, I know. But, Donnie, maybe it's time to bring Ian Clark back, who, that's your demo goal, by the way, is a big fan of his. Ian Clark was in Abysford last week with Patrick Elvine

11:11in management, sitting and watching in a suite. Well, Abysford games. Maybe they are going to start slowly bringing Ian Clark back into the fall because there is one guy that, the demo, respects and likes it's Ian Clark. But the thinking was with Ian Clark, from what I understand, is that he couldn't go on the ice like he used to. That was the reason he was pushed to the side. Okay, but he said there was politics. That's wrong, then. He's getting... He's the highest-paid goalie coach in the NHL, Don. And they made him a scout. Why the hell would you make a dog? Why are you getting mad? No, because you said there's no politics. Why don't you say there's no politics? Oh, I thought I heard my ears... No, I thought it was a physical issue. Well, it was a physical issue, but it was also politics. You do not pay a guy to be the highest goalie coach and then tell him to go be a scouting Florida. This was Rutherford Nelvin. Yes. Yes. So maybe now they bring back Ian Clark in the fold to keep a better eye on Dempilquist. That's the one guy Don, he really respects.

12:13Yeah. Probably not a bad idea since he do have that three-year contract. Again, I think that could have been a lot worse. Contract-wise, but... And I think he... Whatever it takes to get him back to close to 100%. And Don, I think Ian Clark's got one year left on his deal. Evander Cain. The latest... I remember we talked before the show. And Dan Milstein, his agent, has been given permission to talk to other teams. Does that mean the connox were unable to come up with a deal themselves? Yeah, that's a great question. So it doesn't necessarily mean no teams are interested. Key for Sherwood's agents got permission late to get involved, but there was a ton of teams interested in Sherwood Don. It most likely means the player in the agent wants to speed up the process. It's been two months. The connox sent out that memo. Do you know what Don? Two months ago. Hey, all our veterans are business. Oh, everybody's... It's been two months. This guy's been to the Stanley Cup finals back to back years. And now he's on the 32nd place team. He's had centers on the third line. Wasn't he on the fourth line last week?

13:14You know, this guy... I think it's time to ship him out. But anyways, Dallas has got interest. You know who is... Colorado? LA. Hold it, Don. Who is his coach in Edmonton? Who's the coach in Dallas? Gollison. And Gollison. The connox are going to want something in return. They're not given... This isn't a freebie, by the way. They want to pick or a prospect. Well, wouldn't they be happy? Sorry, Rick. Well, go ahead. But wouldn't they be happy to get what they gave Edmonton to get in Andrew King? Yeah, exactly. And I'm talking about a fourth round draft choice. Or higher. I think that you're dreaming if you think you're going to get higher than a fourth round draft pick. I will say this, though, his numbers in last year's playoffs weren't bad. That's it. He had a very good start to the postseason. I want to say that 12 points in 21 games. Not bad for a team that ended up going to the Stanley Cup Final. And this was after he had missed the entire regular season. But I think most people would agree that... And this will be the focus of our poll question.

14:14Most bottling dog poll question. Most people would agree that so far, he's got a number of numbers in his playoff and somewhat of a disappointment. Nine goals. He's minus 18. So anyways, the connoxer looking for a pick or prospect on? Here. Looking at all options to be beneficial that are beneficial for their rebuild, their retool or whatever they call it. In the right situation, the connoxer willing to retain. He's got a pick cap hit on. Well, that's one of the other issues that is, you know, he's got an old trade, 16 teams. He's got a big cap hit on. Are the connox going to have to retain? If another team throws in an extra pick, maybe the connoxer retain. I don't know. What are the chances of that happening? Well done. Deban trying to move this kind of for two months? Let's get going. Get her done. Yeah. I will say this. And this is all due respect to Vander. I don't think he has looked as effective this season as he did in the last year's playoffs. Again, surrounded by some pretty good players and admittance. If you ask the player, you think it's fun being 35 and playing on the worst team

22:22Smith and Jigba, Cooper Cup. Just really cool to get a chance to be around those guys. And arguably the best moment of their life for some of them, maybe all. I don't know. It was awesome. And Sam in particular was not just along for the ride. As I think a lot of people thought maybe he could be and that they could still win it without... He had to play well to win and he did. Ross, I say he tweaked this. I say he tweaked a lot of things. But given where you were at Lumen Field, you have a well informed opinion of Rick Wullen being flagged for taunting. What can you tell us about that? I think you were in the vicinity. Well, I was on the Ram sideline. Like, hen feet from where the initial play happened. And I just happened to keep watching him. Because as soon as it happened, Puka's walking off the field and Wullen's yelling at Puka as he's walking off the field,

23:22then the officials like, okay, okay enough. And then he keeps going. And he actually walks closer to the Ram sideline and says on the people there as he walks towards them, then he goes up the Matthew Stafford at the end of it. I mean, it was... I never see anything like it. I mean, taunting is one thing. But to have the official let you jaw with Puka Nakua for, you know, five yards, a couple seconds and say, okay, okay. And be like, all right, like, okay. And then you just keep doing it and doing it. It was like he was begging and forcing the official to throw that flag. Ross, everybody is picking Seattle. Why are the Patriots even going to show up? I mean, like it's everybody's got them winning by a large margin. What are your thoughts on the Patriots? Let's get your thoughts on them and how they'll battle in the Super Bowl. Well, I'm not going to go large margin. And in fact, I didn't place the bet today

24:23on the even money betting podcast, which is really popular. But I would lean towards taking the Patriots and the four and a half points. I think the Seahawks are the better team. I think the Seahawks will win the game. But you're going to give me four and a half points. I mean, the Seahawks just won by four against the Rams. You know, that's, I feel like the Patriots are good enough that it's going to be a close competitive game. Now, maybe that's wishful thinking on my part, but it does feel like it'll be a close competitive game. And in a close competitive game, I do think Seattle wins. And I think the deal is, is they have more talent. Yeah. And it feels like the Patriots are kind of limping into the Super Bowl a little bit. You know, I mean, they're very fortunate that Stroud played as poorly as he did. You know, Sean Payton, I thought he had a critical coaching error. But then also, you know, we saw how Jarrett Stidham, you know, had a couple of massive, massive errors

25:25in that game. So they're just, they haven't been as impressive over the last couple of weeks as the Seahawks have been. But what about four wins last year? You know, Mike Vrable, you gotta give him credit. That's two years in row. They had four wins. Now they're as Super Bowl. I mean, is he your coach of the year candidate? I mean, like he has done a tremendous job in his first year. I think he would win it now. They, they, they force it. I make the decision after in the regular, regular season, which I understand. I get that. But I think he would win it now. If they redid it now, I think he would win. He might still have won it, by the way. Yeah. But probably not. It's probably Ben Johnson because people are more likely to give it to a guy that's a first time head coach. Yeah. As opposed to a second time head coach. But for Vrable to do what he did to get the team into the Super Bowl, my guess would be that they would go ahead and give him the coach of the year at this point. Ross, I don't know if you know this,

26:25but the bills just promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady as the new head coach. That'll keep Josh Allen happy. Obviously, what are your thoughts on the new coach in Buffalo? Well, interestingly, Rick, I don't need to keep my phone ringer on to get news like that. Like, I don't know if you know this. Yeah. Are you acting like Rick Dallewall? I broke this. I broke it. British Columbia? Yeah. Are you acting like you would know something about the NFL that I wouldn't? I just saw it on my Twitter feed. I think it was a guy on the fishing lodge who broke it Ross. Never in a million years, Rick. Yeah. Of course I know about Joe Brady. I will say, that's an interesting hire. Yeah. I mean, they're basically saying, hey, Sean McDermott, it's all your fault. I mean, I get the continuity part of it. But, you know, when you're moving on for McDermott,

27:27it feels like you're doing so to make up a pretty big change. And it feels like it's going to be more status quo. I don't know what Brady's going to do that McDermott didn't do. Yeah. I think he'll change some things schematically, maybe on defense, with a new decornator, but does that make him better or worse? I don't know. Hey, and Ross, I got to ask you this one more time quickly, if you don't mind. But you brought this up on Twitter, and I've always wondered this, and you brought up the question as well. How do stars like JSN and Pukinakua get so wide open against NFL defenses at crucial moments? Well, they're terrific players. Yeah, there's that. But their coaches do an awesome job, awesome job. JSN was in the backfield. They kind of lost him when he came out. Should have been a huge red flag, huge indicator. JSN's in the backfield, and then he's wide open for a touchdown.

28:28Pukinak sometimes they'll put in motion, and he'll run through the line of scrimmage, you know, which he does a lot of times, by the way, as a lead blocker. And then that also enables them to have a schematic advantage. You know, coaching is really important in NFL, and you really notice that in some of these playoff games, not just the decisions they make, but what they're able to do from a schematic standpoint to give their players a competitive edge. 31:29When you play on a Stanley Cup playoff team, you can post good numbers, and that's what he did in the last few years. And again, for you, it's not about the player, it's about the surrounding. That's more important. So you think any guy, with Kane's ability to score, the way he did in Edmonton, coming to Vancouver, he's just got the same quality players. And it looks like it was... Right there. Like, boom. It looked like he... It looks like he meant to do it. Yeah, it was sneaky. It was sneaky, isn't it? But the reason I say sorry, Rick, but the reason I say that it's a little surprising seems a little heavy is because Brian Rust, last time I checked, has no history of supplemental discipline, right? No suspensions, no fines, from what I know. So that's why I thought it seemed a little bit heavy. But this is a dangerous hit. Yes, it is. And maybe something had gone on. They're not the type of players you think would have something going on throughout the game. Or maybe there was an incident earlier in the game where Besser pissed off Rust and that led to the part of the reason why he got suspended

33:33for three games. That there was some premeditation here. But three games it is for Brian Rust, of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Yeah, and you know what? And we don't know what's going on with Besser, right? I mean, he's on the injury reserve. So guess what, Don? He's obviously looking at a concussion here. And you could tell by the way he went down. And this wouldn't be, what would it, Don? It wouldn't be Besser's first concussion. I think it's dealt with. Didn't he deal one earlier this year? Or was it last year? I'd have to look at, wasn't the Geno hit? A concussion Geno hit. Yeah, that's right. That's right. The one in L.A. When he, that was this year. No, yeah. Okay. Also, as we mentioned earlier, that's your Demko hip surgery, not the popliteus, not the groin, hip surgery, which he's had, which he's had before going way back to before he turned pro. I believe after he was drafted by the connects, he's out for the rest of the season. You got some further information on that. Yeah. So we know the surgery is going to happen soon. They got to get going

34:34on this. But I've also been told the rehab for Demko is four to six months. So Donnie hip surgery is that, you know, four to six, five, six months is going to take a long time. That takes him into what? June, July. And then boom, you know, you blink your eye in training camps, you know, training camps right there. So look, he's got, this is sad for him because the popliteus took months and months and months to rehab. So he comes back from that. He beats the popliteus, Donnie. And well, he beat a few people, not many beat the popliteus. Now he's got to come back and do this hip surgery. He had hip surgery at Boston University as well. Yeah. Okay. Last November, by the way, sorry. Last November was the Geno hit on Besser. And he was out for seven games, I believe. That was a concussion. That was a concussion. Last November, I mean, November of 2024. Yeah. No stranger to injuries. We remember the back. We remember the wrist as well. Blood clots. Blood clots. I forgot about that. I just thought I missed that last game against Edmonton. I guess. Yeah.

And Donnie, I'm hearing rehab four to six months. So what's the point? He needs to get healthy, 100% for next year, bottom line. He's going to get a big pay raised on. He's going up to 8.5 million. So he's only played 43 games the last two years. Not good. Yeah. Not good. Yeah. And then you go back to the 2024 playoffs and what happened there. And let's not forget, during the 2024 playoffs, he played the one

51:20game against Nashville. And that was it. That was it. And then Arthur Sealovs, who Ian Clark was a fan of, took over from there and did a fine job. But you held the fork. But remember, you and Donnie just joined the conucks coming off of an injury for two or three games before those playoffs started. So this goes way way back. Way way back. We got him. We got Craig. Were there injury problems or their health questions at the time? Because this goes a long ways back during his pro career, Craig. Yeah, no, I would say no, not today. I mean, I watched that. You're like lots at the

52:21national team development program. And certainly you saw what you saw was was a really, was a really athletic gold tender that needed like most of them do worked on their technical game. I say this often gold tenders are like pictures that a picture has to learn how to pitch a gold tender has to learn how to how to be a better netbinder and to really do that part of the job. And there was no question that there was there was some development ahead for Tattra, but a very talented young gold tender and nothing, nothing that I recall, I mean, I'd look back in my notes, nothing where you saw, okay, this is something that you should be concerned about. And keep in mind, guys, that the players now central Stuggan has done such a great job of it. In terms of when the players show up at the combine, I don't care how many pull-ups a guy does or how many bench presses he does, but there's two things that I think are really significant. The testing that they do physiologically for any type of injuries or any type of medical

53:28things that players might not be aware of. So things that come up that can help the teams. And certainly if there was some concerns about Tattra, those things would all be looked into and be evaluated at the combine as well as other as individual teams, you know, taking it upon themselves to do it. But there is nothing that would indicate that FATURE was at risk of injury over the course of his career. And certainly that is what we have seen happen with them. And you know, they think they have one thing fixed to them and something else rears its head, then they get that addressed and they're not sure. And I think it's something that for in that lower body for the gold tenders and let's just say the core. And the core comes from just below your rib cage to just to the top of your thighs. It just feels that FATURE has had a real struggle in that area. And whether one thing has caused a problem in another area, I don't know, I can't speak to it, but it's really, it's unfortunate for Tattra because he's a very, very talented gold

54:32pair. And very important to the franchise. Again, out for the season, Tattra, DEMPO, the other piece of news with the Connex, other than the fact they're playing the sharks at tonight. And there have been some lineup adjustments. But also we find out that Brian Rust of the Penguins has been suspended three games for his hit to the head a Brock Besser on Sunday. No suspension or fine history for Brian Rust. Does three games sound about right, Craig? Yeah, I mean, again, one of the things that the Department of Player Safety does take in the consideration, you just touched on a Donnie was, you know, previous record or, you know, suspension, history, anything like that. And certainly when you when you start to look at three games and spend you go, okay, that's pretty significant. But, you know, I think the Department of Player Safety has raised at the level of punishment. We saw a couple seasons ago where there was a lot of appeals and none of them were upheld. And so when you, when you start to raise the

55:38level, you're going to get, you're going to get pushed back. And certainly the NHL Department of Player Safety was ready for that. And the NHL PA does their part in terms of saying, hey, listen, this is a little bit too excessive. But once you establish that benchmark, and I think there's two significant factors of Brian Rust in his three games. Time of the game. And, you know, and coming at him the way he did and coming underneath of it, he clearly clearly picks the him. He comes. And so if you're if you're a player, and that's an unsuspecting player, that's the player that has no chance to see what's coming. And it's a blow that's delivered in a real, real, forceful manner. And I think that led to the three games. And I think Brian Rust absolutely deserves that. I want I've always said this. I want more games as a deterrent. Because are you going to eliminate every type of these plays in the game? No. But if he can, if he can

56:41reduce a lot of them, the speed players are going, ooh, and they're not doing that or I could get three, maybe four games, maybe five, then I think that they're on the right on the right path. And I really think that this is a suspension that speaks to a significant turn for other players. Craig, the conneximate trying to trade of Andrew came for a couple of months now. They can't do it. And so the agents now involved, he's been given permission, Dan Milstein, to help facilitate a trade your own reflection on GM's giving agents permission to help. What is that all about? I think I think a big part of it is Rick is that you know, you can you can spend a lot of time on the phones talking other GM's and can you can you hit all 31 GM's and I'm going to the large number. You know, that takes up a lot of time of your day. And so you start to realize, okay, wait a sec, we're not getting to where we want to get to. It's going to benefit the team if

57:42we can move a little benefity vander. So you include the agent is that and literally as an agent for change, an agent to try to create a transaction, things you might not be able to do, Dan Milstein has contacts and he may be able to say to somebody, hey, listen, you know, would you be interested? And if you're the Vancouver connex, you just say to Dan, hey, listen, come back to us with something that you think might be possible, then we'll determine if it's something that's feasible for us. But I think what you're trying to do is you're just trying to get more people involved to try to, like I said, to try to be an agent for a transaction. Hey, Craig, the connex met with Keaton Verhoff last week. Obviously, they're going to have a high pick. What do you think of Verhoff? Where do you got him going right now and tell us what you know about him? I don't know where I have him going. I won't do that till later on when I do the mock draft and have a lot of fun with it. I think he's a lot like Aaron Eckblatt. That's the

58:43type of player that I see him as similar. Aaron Eckblatt was the first overall pick. Aaron Eckblatt is a two-time Stanley Cup champion. Aaron Eckblatt is not a Norse trophy candidate and he never will be. But he's a really good solid player on your team and he plays big minutes, he plays hard minutes, he helps you win, and it's a real good solid player. And I think that Keaton has a lot of those attributes, a lot of those similarities that not only did Aaron Eckblatt possess at that age, but he also has shown that aptitude to be like a really good effective competitive defenseman. And that's what I see Keaton as. And I certainly have seen it when he was in Victoria. He's gone into North Dakota as a seven-year-old and acquitted himself very, very well. That would be the comparison. And I think all the attributes that Aaron Eckblatt has, I think that Keaton possesses those as well. Gavin McKenna Craig, three goals for Penn State on Friday versus Wisconsin. Five goals for assists in five games since the World Juniors were a lot

59:50of people thought he under-performed. Is there a connection there? He's been hot since the World Juniors. I mean Gavin's a hell of a player. And there was one game he didn't perform very well and that was the Czechia game in the semifinal. And it was one game he had 14 points in the tournament. And he was a good player. And I think that the transition to college hockey was a significant step for him, training in season, playing against older players. You know, the battle in practice and he wanted that challenge. He didn't want to stay back and play junior hockey. He thought that he had accomplished as much as he has. It surprises me, not at all, to see him performing so well back after the year. He hadn't played a college game. I believe it was November 22nd. Then he went into the World Junior and now he's come back. And the gifts that he has, the attributes that he has are untouchable. And none of them, when I watched them, I watched them earlier in the

1:00:53year, watched him at the World Junior. I've watched the post-World Junior. None of the things that I've seen from him since the time he was 14 have vanished or diminished. He's still a very creative player. And I would say watch him because he's going to keep climbing the scoring charts in the NCAA. And I have that. I have no doubt. So I forgot to say future Knaq. Gavin. So next time we talk a little bit. Yeah. They got a really good, they got a really good like, you know, I think a really good defense group of young players. Zee Buoyam, Tommy Vlander, you know, Ronik is tied up for a number of years. You have EP 25. Marcus Patterson falls into an age where he's there. Like they have a really good group. I think of a different defenseman and that are young and can grow together. And certainly, you know, Keaton Verhoff, if you want to add that type of a of a defenseman, you know, that would strengthen it too. But it feels to me like,
