James Lynch Joins Bears on One-Year Deal

This move comes right after fellow former Titan Johnny Hacker joined another NFC North team. Lynch spent the last two seasons providing solid depth on the Titans defensive line. Earlier this week, NFL insider Ian Rappaport broke the news of the agreement. The 26th contract takes Lynch to a Bears team in the midst of a major defensive rebuild this offseason. He was originally a fourth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings back in 2020. Over those two years in Nashville, Lynch racked up 45 total tackles, including 20 solo stops, plus 1.5 sacks across 34, Games. In his full five-year career with the Vikings and Titans, he has played in 71 games, notching 98 tackles, 51 solo, and 3. 5 sacks as a reliable rotational player.
