Jaguars Sign Bobo, Boost Depth, Draft Picks

The Jacksonville Jaguars are making a bold move in free agency by signing Seattle Seahawks

wide receiver Jake Bobo to an offer sheet.

As a restricted free agent with a right of first refusal tender, the Seahawks have until

March 25th to match the deal and keep him.

Jaguar Spans know the team has solid starters like Brian Thomas Jr., Jacobi Myers, Parker

Washington, and Travis Hunter at the top of the depth.

But they need more depth and competition behind those guys, with only a few others like

Austin Trammell and Tim Jones currently on the roster.

Bobo fits right into Jacksonville's scheme under offensive coordinator Liam Cohen.

He's a strong blocker in the run game, excels at catching passes over the middle and

can line up inside or outside while contributing on special teams.

This signing also helps the Jaguars stay smart about their future draft picks.

They're projected to get compensatory selections in the 2027 draft from departures like Devon

Lloyd, Travis Etienne, and Greg Newsom, and grabbing a restricted free agent like Bobo

won't mess with that formula.

Now all eyes are on Seattle as the deadline approaches, which could give Jacksonville a sneaky

upgrade without breaking the bank or their long-term plans.
