On April 27, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles tank Bigsby trade from last season just came full circle after the 2026 NFL draft. Back before Wheat 2 of 2025, the Jags shipped the running back to Philly for a fifth round pick at 166 NA, sixth rounder at 203. Those picks turned into real talent for Jacksonville. They packaged the 166 selection to move up in the fourth round and grabbed Duke defensive end, Wesley Williams. Then, with 203, they took Stanford-wide receiver CJ Williams straight up. Jags brass is hyped on these rookies. Defensive coordinator Gladstone called Williams a relentless pass rusher who fits their mold perfectly, boosting a thin-end rotation. For CJ Williams, he praised the kids blocking chops and ball skills, adding depth to the receiver room. Over in Philly, Bigsby balled out with 62 carries for 363 yards, averaging 5.9 per pop and 2 scores.

He also averaged 20.8 on 9 kick returns. Too soon to crown a winner. But these draft halls give the Jags fresh ammo to build around while Bigsby's still grinding in Eagle Green. This has been NFL News Today, powered by AI.
