J. Cole Joins CBA, Balancing Hoops & Hip-Hop

The CBA dropped the news on Instagram April 1st, and the 41-year-old North Carolina native flew in that same day to hit the court. He wasted no time, knocking down shots and pre-game warm-ups, though he sat out the team's match-up that night. Still, fans got a thrill watching him sign his first autograph right there on the hardwood. This ain't Cole's first rodeo, in overseas pro-ball, it's his third go-around. Back in 2021, he suited up for the Rwanda Patriots in the basketball-Africa league, then jump to the Scarborough shooting stars in, Canada's elite league the next year. No signs he's hanging up the mic for Hoops full-time. Come July, he's launching the fall-off world tour to push his new album, starting in Charlotte, then rolling through Miami, Philly, New York, Chicago.
