Happy podcast day. Happy Labor Day, by the way. Labor Day. Did you labor? No. Well, I made hats today. Did you? I finished all my hats. The low hats. Yeah, the neon, and trucker hats I got. Nice. Those are done, son. Those are done, son. Yeah. I like it. What did you have a great weekend? Yeah. Yeah. It was first Friday went to the test hotel. Great hotel. It was a really pretty. I'm going to have to say, might be my favorite hotel that we've stayed at. We've stayed at Atlanta. Not every day. I'm going to have to agree. The stalling is nice. And I like that it has that really cool bar downstairs. It reminds me of the stalling. It does. And I like that you have the convenience of that little food court that's in the stalling that you can jump in there and like eat some sushi or eat a pizza. Yeah. Yeah. That's kind of nice for everything. Like most it's almost like a really nice food

court in them all. Except you're in a really nice hotel instead. So I think I might have to give the stalling one little notch up for the food. But what the stalling didn't have that maybe they did. I should know it was the pool. The rooftop view and the rooftop pool at the test was pretty awesome. Yeah. I think the stalling does have a pool. We just never pooled there. So yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Had the ability to be all Friday and Monday, which makes for a super long weekend, which was phenomenal because typically Fridays when we do first Fridays, we leave. I work leave work a little early like maybe two, thirty or three o'clock. You still have to work most of the day. And then we have to hustle and drive. And then go straight ahead up. Yeah. So this way we got to leave early Friday morning. I think we live at noon or something. So we got down there maybe like four o'clock,

three thirty four o'clock. Had an hour to just kind of chill and hour two to chill and hang out. Met newbies in the elevator. Met newbies in the elevator. And then then we went to the rooftop restaurant to have a little snacky snack. That's where we had the oysters and the tater tots tater tots and wings. That's where we ate. Yeah. Chicken wings and oysters and tater tots. Wow. What a it was delightful. Yeah. But what's cool is when you're in Buckhead and you're on the roof, you can look back and you see the city of Atlanta. So the view up there was great. And then partied moon dogs, which was great. Just love moon dogs. Yeah. I might have to say like it reminds me a lot of atmosphere. Oh, yeah. It's kind of and not the negative way. Divey. Yeah. I was just going to say the same word like I would call it a dive bar, but like in the best possible way. Like that's the kind

of bar I would go to. What's awesome though is I love that they have options. Like you can go to this room and you can shake your ass on a pole or get on this or karaoke or you can go over here and karaoke or you can go over here and throw darts at the wall. Yeah. They have darts and pool and karaoke and like a dance floor DJ booth and then like a stripper pole and an elevated stage kind of thing. Yeah. And then there's the main bar where you can just kind of. A place to sit. Yeah. I really like it. I agree that it's kind of like atmosphere in that it's a little divey, but I don't know. Part of me. Who is it? Somebody asked me about that. Do we prefer for it to be like in a big wide open venue kind of place like CCTV or central city tavern last month. You can kind of stand in one spot and see everybody. Not the case of moon dog.

You have to walk around. You could almost stay in one room and never see anybody else. Like it's really fractured. And so somebody asked me like, would I prefer it to be kind of open with everybody in one room or would I prefer for it to be like this? And I will say I'm not going to probably answer it directly. Like I because I still like both. But I will say what some of the problems are. I think some people. Is I lose you every 30 seconds? That's one of the problems. Well, you told me you were going to put a flag or a balloon on my tie it to my shirt or something. But now my thing is that if you're worried about things being clicky or like, hey, these 20 people always hang out together. I think moon dogs enforces that clickiness like you and your 15 friends kind of take over a little corner. And there's a whole bunch of little groups versus you know at CCTV.

It's a sea of people and it's not as it's not as fractured. And so you kind of have to meld into everybody else. If that makes sense. Well, I would say CCTV is a much smaller too. Like yeah, I think the best people for sure can get it. Yeah. I love moon dogs. I think it's a great great venue. I do wish they had food. They've got popcorn. How in the world does a bar not have food? Like I thought it was a law that you had to have food. You know, if you're serving alcohol, you have to serve a certain amount of food. And I intend to see I think that's a law. Probably. It's not in Georgia. Yeah. Something about like forever. You have to have a certain amount of food sales for alcohol sales. Like just to make sure people aren't just drinking only. But yeah, they definitely don't have food. And I do think that's you know, something that our people will like a snack. It's a few of our people like a snack. But you know, and you have the party at eight, you know, and you go there beforehand and or go out to eat somewhere before and you show up.

Speaking of eating, we ate at the most incredible Italian restaurant. Oh yeah, what was I'm a geolo. Yeah. So I think it's called like ill geolo. So I ill. And then G I A L L O. I think that's right. Sandy Springs. Fakasha bread. Fun nominal. Oh, that was fire. Fun nominal. And then I had the no key, which it was first of all, it was the best no key I've ever had in a bull and a and we've had no sauce. Like that was dude, it was it was fire. Very, very good. And you had tenderloin feta chini. And the other couple we went with split a lasagna. It was a lasagna, but it was deconstructed and it was short rib lasagna. And I will have to say I did not like house week. I loved it. The restaurant choice was good. Lawrence, you know, going through the TikTok or Instagram Reels to find out like what new restaurants we haven't been to or whatever,

which there are hundreds of them, but yeah. So TikTok did not let me down. It was really, it was really good. Yeah. And then we went to Pink Pony two nights in a row. Yeah. Sure did. And I had a great time. Both times. Yeah. Love going there. Again, I always tell this story in Lauren Rose's rise, but like until the Pink Pony, I was never a strip club guy ever. Like I don't care about going, especially been in the lifestyle, which is weird because if you're in the lifestyle, like why would you go to strip club where you couldn't do anything, spend all this money to drink and throw money away. And it just didn't make sense to me. But we started going with there's like two couples in our group that always go and they kind of go together. And I was invited one time when Lauren was out of town. I think you were, I don't know where you were. And I was just by myself at home and the dude called me and said, Hey, we're going. I said, Well, Lauren's out of town. He goes, Well, come with us anyway. We'll hang out with us. So I went first time ever at

Pink Pony. I went hung out with them. And they have this kind of same table they always sit at, which I love that, you know, the, the old, you know, always at the same spot. I love that comfort of sitting in the same seat every time. I go there and like, what's funny is that the couples, the two couples, both of their wives are hairdressers and they I think know these girls because they do some hair for them or whatever they've just known them for a while. But they're friends with couple of the strippers for sure, really probably four or five of them. And I have my back to the stage, sit at the table. The girls come over and sit and talk with us and just hang out. And every time we bend, it's just been a blast. Like the girls are great. So nice. Just regular-ass girls making money, working hard. And I love how you love them. Oh, love a group of. Well, they work hard. They do a good job and they're super sweet. Yeah. So we like going there. We took, we had, I will say

this the first night we went, we kind of told everybody after Minndogs, okay, well, we're going to go to Ping Pony. So we kind of broadcast that a little bit. We show up and we go and one of the couples that was with us, they wouldn't let her in because she had a paper ID, which was wild. I've never heard of that. Then there were other couples that showed up. They had like tank tops on or something and they wouldn't let them in. So they're still had tank tops on. Yeah, yeah, the men. But we still had, I think, 12 or 14. Sitting on our table. Yeah. Sitting on our table. It was great. And I love going with a bunch of people and just kind of hanging out. Like that was a lot of fun. Yeah, I will say to at Moon Dogs, I met a lot of new people. Oh, yeah. I met some Channiga people. Yeah. I met some new-nin people. Yeah, it was a great turnout. I'm really enjoying these first Fridays, not at the club. Oh, yeah. I love the meet and greet style where we take over

the whole thing. And, you know, I think it allows for people to, again, not have the pressure of going to a sex club and feeling that anxiety of I have to wear a lingerie and I have to go in there and potentially, so I'm spending this money, you know, a couple hundred bucks to get in the door. Do we have to have sex with people? Got to make it worth it. Got to make it worth the 200 bucks. Like, that pressure is gone. But the other thing is, is I really like when we can do, if we could ever figure out the formula of, and I was telling you this yesterday, like having like three, you know, rotating first Friday places, like, Hey, Moon Dogs is Tom, CCTV next time, atmosphere the next time, whatever, you know, just pick three, have them on a rotation, and then also have the hotel nearby, where, you know, we always stay in the same hotel. Well, that was the great thing about the test, is that it was one block day. Now, it's a big block point three miles. It was seven minute walk.

I looked it up. Yeah. Someone walked it and she said it wasn't great. But it's close enough to get a Uber and your home in five minutes. Oh, yeah, you can get a seven dollar Uber, right? Whatever. And probably it's probably a seven minute drive. But the kids a little sketchy to me though, I don't know that I would walk that. I know it's, I don't know that I would. I guess my point though is, is, you know, if we can get into a routine where we have a hotel, and the test might be too expensive for the price. It is a nice hook. I mean, it was 200 plus dollars, you know, stay there, you know, versus, but it's also a buckhead. And for Buckhead and for how nice that was, I mean, it's a big $90 to park seven. It was $69 to park. I'm over that shit. Now, I would like to have three places and then three hotels were, you know, we could walk or where it's relatively inexpensive. You know, like the one in Alfredo, the hotel, I think was like 135 bucks. And no parking. The even? Yeah. No parking or $10 parking or something, something stupid. Like that right there.

You know, yeah, I think the parking was like $12, but with the block, we got it for free. Yeah, but I mean, if you had a hotel that's 150 bucks or less, and it's less than three miles to the to the place and the drinks of the place are cheap or, or, you know, you don't get, you know, hitting the face with the $25 or margarita, right? You know, if we could figure out that three places and then rotate them, that would be my favorite. Yeah. We're kind of trying out some different things with first Friday. Since we don't have like a, you know, first sure venue kind of a thing, we're also kind of trying to figure out the where. I know a lot of people in like the Buford and Lawrenceville sugar hill coming, you know, that area would like something up there. Once this week is over, I will start kind of throwing some ideas around. And

if you guys like know the owner of so and so bar and they would love to have their bar, you know, packed out on a Friday night. I'm gonna borrow that. We'll let us have the whole thing. Correct. We want it to be all ours. You know, we want to be able to control the people coming in. I mean, dogs, I think at 12 o'clock, they started letting 11 vanilla people in. And so most of our people were gone by 1030. Yeah. We, you know, we have a three hour, you know, two and a half, three hours worth of meat and great. Then most people kind of meet up and decide what they're going to do after together. But yeah, we're working through some of those things. But man, I do, I'm with you. I love the meat and great style, low pressure. And it's like for me, it's, I kind of look at it like it's a planned day for you to go see all your friends once a month. Like if you can't get out any other, you know what I mean? Like if you have shit going on, but you can count on that one

day a month to get together and see all your friends. You can plan your world around. Right. And I'm not saying that people would plan their life around first Friday. That's kind of done. But but you kind of always know when it is. Although some people still ask us, hey, is it on the 25th? And we're like, it's the first Friday. Look at a calendar. I don't know if they can pick the first one. You can do it in that month. I know. We joke about it. But sometimes it's like really come on. We had a great time. And we met a bunch like you said, met a bunch of new people. We met a great couple that lives, got 10 minutes down the road. Yeah, they were really fun. They went to the pony with us. Yep. And super great. Nostomeat them. We met another, another couple of couples that we'd never met before. The first time on, you know, to come to any event whatsoever. And I love that. Looked about the little Indian guy that walked in. Listen at this. Lauren.

Lauren, it loves the little like lost puppy. Got you know, the people that come in and they're like demons. I just want for people to feel comfortable. Okay. Like this guy never felt comfortable. No, he was with us for five hours. I know. I know. The strip club with us. I know. I'm invited him to go to the pony. Did he get, did he ride a car with us? No. He came out. He got a Uber. He got a, he got a zone. Well, so Lauren goes, hey, I think I'm going to invite this guy to the pony. And I was like, he looked about 23, 16 years. Yeah. Well, I'm giving him 20. He was 20. I think he said he was like 24 or something. But very nice, very kind, very much walked into the wrong bar. Well, he was in our group. Like he knew about it. And was, no, yeah, he follows us on S.D.C. It was in our group. But I don't think he knew what was going on there that night. That's the thing is he stumbled just a party. That's what I'm saying. So he followed

us on S.D.C. and came. But if he's on S.D.C. he knows we're a swing or group. There's my points. Not like we had some random guy come off the street. You know, if he's an S.D.C. he knows that it's a swing or party. And so he walked in. I don't know the details anyway. It was, he didn't go anybody. It was hilarious. At the front door, we were like, did you show your ID? Are you 21? Because he was walking around with a Coca-Cola also. Like I don't think he, I don't think he drank those sober guys. Correct. I'm just saying. Like I was, it was very much like are you in the I was walking around sweet tea. You were not. That was bourbon. Anyways, every time I would like pass him in the bar. I'd be like, hey, you having a good time. He's like, this is wild. But I'm like, yeah, you know, I will have to say I love how you are at the door and that you great people. And the reason I love that is because if you weren't at the door, you would probably not talk to as many people. You would just stand over in your little dumpstered zone and you would just wait.

It wears my ass out to stand at the door. It's very much the great. It's my battery. But yeah, it's fun. By the way, mental health check. You're doing fucking great. Just so you know, like I was telling the lawyers yesterday, we had, I know you met us later. And so we spent an hour kind of talking about how things go. And because we've moved, we used to see them twice a month, and now we see them maybe once a month. And so they're, well, how's Laura actually doing? And I'll have to say, you know, I'm super proud of you. One, you're trying to get outside your comfort zone a little bit. I think your meds are working great. And so I'm definitely able to accomplish things now. Like you stay up later. You go out on the weekends. I was not able to have anything on my plate. Like when we were, you know, right before I went to treatment, I didn't answer any

ones comments on Facebook. I didn't know. Yeah, I would never, ever be in a group text. I, you know, wouldn't respond to message. Like it was just I could not handle anything. And now, I mean, like I'm over here pressing 70 shirts before Friday, you know, and 100 hats and making sure that we're on track for, you know, all the things. And on top of, you know, I'm literally sitting here going, I need to order groceries. I need to figure out what we're eating this week. There's got to be a mom and stuff. But you know, my thing is, is like, you're going to the events. You're working the front door, which it was never an option before. You know, and then you're, you know, maybe I'm saying, Hey, let me introduce you to these, this new couple and you're jumping right over there and meeting them. And I, you know, I'm just seeing you, I told, I told

lawyers that it's kind of like you're back to year one, Lauren. Like the first year I met you when you were, you know, a little outgoing. Yeah. I mean, you still have your days where you want to be in and not, I mean, I know. And I, and I deaf, I've become more, I've been able to communicate that and stand on it. Yeah. Because at no point will you ever understand that like, I am worn out. Well, we didn't do anything all day. Well, we've done something for the last like, you know, five weekends in a row. There's been a lot of people, a lot of talking, a lot of like that. It wears me out. And so like even today, we went to our friend's house to, you know, eat and pull. And I had no idea that many people were going to be there. I literally, when you said, any there were 11, I mean, it's not like it was 80, but I'm just saying there were 11 people there.

And you were like, oh, come on to eat. I'm gonna go back home. Yeah. I couldn't do it. Yeah. And for me, it's like it was today's the holiday because I worked all weekend. Like I know that sounds weird to you, but like I work all week, my real job. And then when I have a first Friday, like I'm seeing people and talking and going and being the mayor or whatever. And then the next day, you'll plan in the pool party and go and eat dinner and then go to pink pony and plan on that. And then you know, Sunday, we pack it all up and I got to hang out yesterday, which was nice. And then we come home. And like today was for me, my day to like, I'm laying the pool. I have a, it wasn't laying the pool though. It wasn't like we're floating around in the pool. We're soaking up some sunshine. It was conversation here, conversation there. Meet this person, meet this person. Have you met Lauren? Have you? And that I can't do. Yeah. It was, it was just especially the pool and hang

in especially when, you know, I know this weekend is going to be full of that too. So I can talk about this weekend. By the way, came home and went to bed. It's good. It's part of the year. It's low. I think right now we have over 400 people with tickets. We're going to have close to 500 by the end of the week because people are notorious for people are still buying. I've seen two or three orders just for the, in the last event. Yeah. Just for the tickets. Yeah. So, yeah, we're going to, we're going to end up selling other 50, 80 tickets. I think this week, because it's, what are you doing this week? I mean, that's the thing. I think that I've noticed is that a lot, there are a lot of us that plan like, where are you going? And they know glow and glow is a big event. So they plan for it. But like, there are a lot of people that are like, hey, what are we doing this weekend? Who's going here this weekend? Who's doing what? And they'll look on SDC and see what events are happening this week. Oh, this is the glow party week. Well, yeah, maybe we should do that. And, you know, we, we get a ton of, I say last minute, but, you know, week of ticket sales and

people that are coming. But yeah, it's going to be, it's going to be awesome. Yeah. I think my, I might be looking forward to hanging out at the pool on Saturday afternoon. Yeah. As much as twist, there's also a pool party. Yeah. Like we did not plan that at all. But, I mean, wasn't, like, it wasn't a part of the plan. It wasn't a part of the plan. It's like, oh, by the way, there's a pool there. Yeah. And we have five floors of people and, hey, might as well take a advantage of having people at the pool. So I'm excited about just going to the pool and hanging out because when we did that before glow last year at the, I took a nap. You took a nap. I know. But it was fun. Like that, the reason I love it is because you're going to have again, you're going to have 200 people have never been to a glow party that don't know any of these people. Yeah, it's kind of like a big green. It is. It's like a, that's right. So they're going to go to the pool. They're going to have a few cocktails and only thing I will say is if you do not have a two-night room,

you're not going to be able to check in until four o'clock. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Two not rooms. Two not room people are going to have a pool party. One not people are going to get their four o'clock. And they're going to be rushed, you know, to check in and check in. And then there's room, call it. Get ready. Room crawling. Yeah. I don't think we don't have, we have snacks at the event. Yeah, but we don't have like food. There is. Just talking about like that glow. There's I don't think we have a, you know, like a table of food or anything. So you're definitely need to eat dinner before you do. I mean, this is the first time we've ever set up a stage, set up our own light, set up our own speakers. We had to, you know, we had to pile that for this one instead of like we go to atmosphere, all that should hang in from the ceiling. Yeah. Beargate will come in and bring a couple extra things he has at his house. Like you'll bring the laser beam from his house. But like this place, we had to buy, it was

just a big ol' empty conference room. So I'm a little nervous about me too. But I think with everything that we have and the setup that Kelsey has planned with literally the floor layout from when you walk in to where VIP is over here. You've got tables, five different tables. Like it's every detail. Every single detail is planned and it has a purpose. And I will say this is not a hotel takeover. It's not. We could not. I think it's half the hotel. And it's not that they wouldn't allow us to. It's that we are not at a point. I mean, they have like nine floors at this hotel. So we just, we can't do that. We can't commit to that. So to walk to the elevator, or you're going to have to get off the elevator in a common space.

Yeah. Now I will say the common space is on the party. Party side. So if you turn the wrong direction and go into the lobby. And there's a lobby bar that's going to be open and they'll be serving right away from the lobby and go towards the conference room to the party. There's 20 feet of like shared bathrooms. But other than that. And you know, we've told everybody you got to cover your bits. Kibbles and bits. Yeah. Cover your tits and bits. But you know, there are going to be a lot of people with pasties and things like that. And pasties are fine. Yeah. Speaking of, had some people in the pool party or in the pool at the hotel this weekend. Sitting there swapping in the pool. Yeah. I don't think they were having sex. But no, but they were fondling and making out. And I was like, the least thing. Where this is public people. The list. Yeah. One of our guys that went over there and said, Hey, let's go ahead and

make put this into a list. Let's just not continue with the PDA police. We just have to be careful. I mean, like it's hard enough for us to find a venue without them saying. Please don't make a list. Yeah. God, we got to we got to some venues and they'll literally say we don't we don't want you kind of like your kind. Yeah. Your people here. We don't want your people here. It's kind of tough. I mean, it is. You know, we go to these places and we think we're good people. But man, we have to remember that some people don't like what we're doing. I think I'm going to stop telling them more swingers. Just tell them it's an event. We're an events company. We throw parties. We were the knitting community of Atlanta. We need a crochet. We crochet. We maybe we should have a different blankets like P.A.D. you should stand for something else. Pottery and I don't know. I don't consider struggling for a D word. Disc Golf. I don't want to pottery and disc golf. Yeah. Yeah. I think I'm going to be dancing. I think I'm going to stop

telling them who we are because I mean, it doesn't really matter. Questions will be asked. I can't let me just tell you we had how many couples from Greenville, South Carolina this weekend. Dude, where did they come? I mean, like, and not even the people we already know. Like, we know ones. We know the square half the squares from Greenville and our other friend who we did brunch with, they're from Greenville. They weren't even there. And I think we had sticks or eight couples from Greenville and I'm like, okay, maybe it's time to have us a little. I'd love to do that. I'd love to go to Greenville and do something over there. But that was that was nice. I mean, it was nice to have some people from that little area. You know what I mean? Like, and then we had some people from Chadnoga that came down. Love to throw a party up here in Chadnoga. Pretty soon. Or maybe maybe after the first few years. The only September weekend we have nothing going on is September 25th. And that's when I'm going to Little Wayne. Well, that means you have something going on.

I mean, it's not. I have my fraternity cabin weekend. Yeah, just so busy right now. So busy. Yeah, it's fine. We've got glow this weekend. We'll be there Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We're going to go to a wedding the next Thursday Friday. They'll work doing the whole weekend. We're probably just going to go to the wedding. Come back and we've got to drop down to that. In the next week, can you go see what they're calling a little weasy? Weasy. Weasy. Oh, tell them the story about the guy. Oh my god. The guy. Okay. So we're at this fancy hotel, the test this weekend. And Davey Valais, the car and the valet gopils up in my mind. Maybe he had had a little Wayne. Oh, no, no. Oh, yes, man. No, maybe she will. Yeah. Anyways, regardless. I'm just letting these Tesla. The Tesla is bumping when this man pulls up to him.

He gets out this car. He looks at me. He goes, what do you know about Lil Wayne? Lauren is exactly enough to know all the words. Excuse me, sir. I've seen him in concert twice. I love. I graduated in 2007 in the height of Lil Wayne era. It was incredible. So yeah. I look like you're somewhat offended because you walked to go, what do you know about Lil Wayne? Yeah. I was like, wow, sir. Excuse me. You told him. I'm sure. I was like, what do you mean? He's on tour. I'm about to go see him. Yeah. We're doing that. Yeah, I'm going to have a grand baby in November. So we don't have really much booked in November, but September, October is still still kind of busy. Hopefully November and December, we can be slow. That's the point. That's the hope. It's not. It's not. We've been in the hot. So we've already been invited to Christmas parties that we've got to go to and get to go to get to go to. Yeah. I'm excited for those. Yeah.

Small world parties. Halloween is October 24th. Oh, yeah. At atmosphere. At atmosphere. We launch tickets tickets or tickets are available. Can't pad. Dude, I'm so excited. It's like slasher camp 1986 vibes. And I love how all you people who weren't born in 1986. Like how awesome 1986 is because it was. Was it? Oh my god. The 80s. I wouldn't know. I'm too young. I know. That's my point. It's like, you know, all the people who watch like Stranger Things. Yeah. I mean, like Stranger Things was my childhood. My little gene jacket with patches on it. I had those. You did? Where are they now? I wish I still had all that. Yeah, me too. I do what is wild. Like the whole blue gene jacket and the Coca Cola patches and the we had all those little buttons. We had the all bad junk. The pins. Swatches are still cool. They came out. Not the Navy's. They are not cool.

Swatches are a thousand percent cool. They're not. Anyways, we're 40 minutes in. Anything else you want to talk about? Yeah, let's talk about swingers. Swinger. Yeah. That's what this podcast is about. I know. What swingership do you want to talk about? I kind of swingership. We'd be doing. We had some good fun swingership this weekend. We did. I just want to. I know, but we're doing swingership. And the reason is because there were two years where we had podcasts and never talked about having any fun. Okay, so let this be all the record. All the record. That we are actively swinging. Swinging. It's fun. It is fun. And we've had so much fun with this not unicorn. Oh, yeah, not a unicorn. Not a unicorn. No, definitely not. That we've been hanging out with. And yeah, it's just been fun. It's that's another layer of feeling like myself again is

super comfortable with us in that situation again. I think for a long time because we weren't doing it. It's almost like you're starting over and you're like, who that's the fun? Yeah, right? No, no, it's like you're starting over and like all of the experiences you have to like figure out how you feel about it again. Yeah, you know, and I'm just at a point now to where we've done, you know, swingership enough. Now, you know, with the meds on board. That's great. That, you know, I am. You have meds. I have Crown Vanilla. Someone told me I'm not supposed to be eating or drinking grapefruit with the meds that I'm on. What? I'm gonna check your PT that. What do you mean? She was like, yeah, it's on my bottle. I was like, I've checked my bottles 14 times. Says nothing about a grapefruit. Says nothing about polomas. No, they encourage it. They encourage it. No, it does say alcohol, but it doesn't say

fucking polo. Are you serious? I love a poloma. Yeah. You had a good one this weekend. Oh my god, it was really, they were making them and whatever their ratios are, I need to know, because they were so good. Yeah. You had a little one-on-one action. It was, ah, I did. It was really something. So let me set the scene. Oh my god. Here we go. Set the scene. So we're all, we're all upstairs hanging out on the rooftop, hanging out at the pool. And can I say his name? We say their name on here all the time. Okay. So same an O.C. or their and we got to see them two knots in a row. Which is like Christmas, you know, like, we never get to see them. And like, once a quarter, I feel like it's when we say them. Yeah, I feel like we see them less than we use. I mean, they're just so busy with, you know, kids and fighting and like MMA. What's

it called? Not fighting them fighting with their team. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, I'm in the pool. And O.C. is out of the pool. And he walks over and he goes, hey, come with me. Let's go to the room. I went, uh, uh, skit you. Me. You immediately said, okay. You know, I was like, yes, sir. So I get out. I go get my towel. And then I walked back over to the pool just to like confirm with you and Sam that like, this is okay. Y'all are hanging out here. We're going to go. That's all right with everyone involved. And of course you guys are like, yeah, Davey, the one thing he says to me, he goes, just be sure to shower the sweat. Yeah, because that road is asleep. And by the way, we didn't get two queens this time. We got one king. So we were have the whip. We were very,

very careful with our bed this time. But yeah, we walked to the room. We rents the, the pool off. And then got to business. Yeah, he's in cream. Yeah, we took a picture after he's, you know, dripping, glistening like he is, he is so hot and like his like figuratively and actually. I'm so he's got a picture. And so he was like, we should take a picture of this. I was like, you got a cork by will do that. And so I took a picture of us like side by side. Yeah, but different. You started wanting this, this last week, by the way, you're lying about. Well, actually, I, you were saying to me like, well, you have this girl talking to you and that girl. Yeah, it says, and you're like, I don't have that. I'm like, everybody's just chasing you. And you just don't I literally said you have girls chasing you. And I don't have that. Like if,

if there is, if there is a man, you know, who's trying to hang, they don't let me know, you know, and you haven't been very, and I'm just awkward enough to, you know, friends on people very quickly. So you also have a major self available. No, I have not been mentally or physically. I have a, no, no. So she's, she's like, what's your talk about? You got this girl in there? Yeah. I'm like, I don't have any girl. He's like, oh, so and so can't wait to see me this weekend. I'm like, and then she starts complaining about, well, I don't have that. Well, who, who had a one-on-one this weekend, not me, you did. And another man chasing you too, all weekend. So I mean, you know, yeah, you had you had insert hair flip. Yeah, you had it going on this weekend. Then thank you. Thank you. It was great. I had a good time, though. You know, it was kind of going back to what you're saying about what I was saying about you being in a good place. Like the

whole party that the, you know, bringing in, you know, girl, guy, whatever, you know, whatever, and swing in this weekend and having a good time. It's not, it's just nice to have to, to not have to come home and have the conversation about like, why didn't that work out? Like, why? Because a lot of times over the last year and a half, two years, you know, I've wanted to kind of talk through what failed over the weekend, right? Like, okay, well, this guy was interested in you or this girl was interested in us, but why didn't that work out? You know, and then we'd talk through it, which is, you know, what we have to do, what I think all of us have to do is best as we can, to make sure we're on the same page, but it's nice to not have to talk about it on the negative side, but to talk about how fun it was. It's just a whole different world for me and than what the last couple of years have been. So I'm super, super happy for us. Like, I think it's a,

it's a positive for us. Like, you know, I'm super happy. I always say, you know, I'm a gas, you're the brakes. And that's fine. Somebody's got to be right. Somebody's got to be that person. And, you know, we're meeting new people in Chattanooga. We're meeting, you know, some people online. I had several people reach out on SDC, you know, and kind of friend requests us. I jumped on there. Since I've been in Chattanooga about some events and some things like that. And, you know, of course, we've got new members joining all the time and you had a, you know, really not, you know, conversation with a couple of new people at the moon dogs. And maybe we can see them, you know, at some point. But it's just been, it's been real nice. And I appreciate it. And, and it kind of gives me that sense of, it's, I don't know if relief is the right word, but like, I'm not so worried about the things that come out of my mouth. Like me asking you to do something. I don't worry about it causing an issue or you being like upset or me saying something that you don't want to do. And

then me get upset like, man, can we not just swing again? Can we not be normal? Gosh, yeah. Yeah. It's just being mentally and, you know, in a better head space. Yeah. It's been great. And I appreciate it. I will say sponsored by Will butri. And pro-zek. It used to be sponsored by pro-zek and will be. Oh, yeah. It's the toofr. Oh, I didn't know. Well, I don't know what you take, but it used to be we were sponsored by maybe, because we would sit and bed and drink wine or have buffalo trays. Yeah. This is your reminder to take your SSRI. Oh my god. So fun. I do want to switch to something real quick before we kind of close this up and talk about something serious. And, you know, I had a, I had a rough ass day, Wednesday, after, you know, finding out that Brandon Taylor passed. And for those of you who don't know Brandon personally, if you've heard of Aakandy parties, Aakandy energy drinks, the, you know,

just Aakandy gear, merch, all the things. Brandon, Sean, Aakandy Taylor out of Tampa. They run that and they're freaking great. You know, we we had gone to I guess our first event party or like weekend takeover party was a swing nation party. And we went down to secrets, I think. And then they were telling us about these Aakandy parties that are secrets. So like, well, we love secrets. So let's go back. Well, the next time we went back, we went to an Aakandy party. We met Brandon and Sean and we're just blown away at him is part, what I love about Brandon the most and you know, it's how behind the scenes he is. And you know, I am not that guy. I'm not the quiet guy that just sits back and maybe even goes to my room and let's everybody have a good time. Like I want to be in the middle of it. Right. But man, I loved his demeanor because you you talk to him

and you're like, how does this guy who is so chill and so laid back and just so I mean, he listens well. He just he's just quiet and comforting and throws the most wild bad ass parties and his marketing is like does all the marketing. He does sell. No, so like his marketing is like insane. It's not gonna tell him that all the time. Like dude, I do our marketing and I look at yours and I'm just like, I don't know how I don't know how the fuck you do it. Like it's so good. It what's wild is like at first I was like, no, no, I mean, I know you do it. You probably do it in house. But like who actually designs it goes, no, no, I actually designed it. But like, it's it's so wild to me that he his personality was the way it was. But then inside of his brain, he could translate that out into some of the coolest designs and colors and just everything. I mean, it was just I loved his style. Like his his branding is just incredible. And you know, we found out

from Shawna and him. I talked to him, you know, several times in the last six months probably. But I think in April, March, April, May, something like that, you know, he found out he had cancer. And when he found out it's not like, hey, we found a little cancer. Oh, he's found out he had stage four cancer. And you know, he was fighting it and he was going doing all the things and you know, my text messages from him are like, yeah, man, we're putting up a good fight and doing all the things. You know, I'm just encouraging him and telling him, we're here for him, whatever he needs, you know, and then we, you know, we hear, I guess maybe two weeks ago now, not doing great, Shawna made an announcement that he was going to be home with hospice. We reached out to her and you kind of talked to her. And actually, I said a text to him and her kind of at the same time, two different ones, but kind of within 10 or 15 minutes for each other. She must have his phone too because she sent me a message, brought back that says, hey, Brenda's not answering his phone

anymore. You know, we're doing that for him. You know, we're just trying to keep him comfortable. We went back and forth a little bit and, man, it just, you know, the thing about the crazy thing is, I don't know his exact age, but I feel like he's right at my age. I feel like he's in our work in two years with each other, if not the same age. And, you know, he runs, he runs a lifestyle group like we do. His is 25 times more successful than mine, you know, with the amount of people and the size of the parties and all those kind of things. But he's also been doing it a long time. But, you know, he does what I do. He's my age. He's just a great dude. And one week he's there, and the next week he's gone. And it, dude, it broke me last week. I just had this, well, I talked to my boss about it. I talked to you about it, about just going into every day. I'm trying to squeeze every ounce of juice out of every day. And because of people like Brandon, because we're not

promised tomorrow, I'm just going to make sure that when I go, I'm tired and happy, right? Like, I've done everything that I want to do. And I've treated people well. And I've, you know, tried to be the best version of who I can be, which I try to do every day. And I think I do okay at that and try to serve other people. Because the next day you're not here. And, you know, I want to be remembered, you know, as a person who lived his life, lived every minute of it. And it was tough. It was really tough for me to, you know, hear that he had passed. And, you know, I don't know, she's, it just makes me want to encourage everybody to do the same thing. Like, live every day, like it's your last week, you know, like, yeah. And the whole community was definitely affected by such a you know, I can be is a pillar of lifestyle community. You know, everybody knows I can be. And it's,

yeah, it definitely shook, shook a lot of people. Group did so good too. Like we, we put the go fund being up on our page, you know, for people, a lot of awesome comments about people who have been to his parties. And we had several people who, like, hey, let's do something Friday not. And so we just, the people who were closest to us, you know, we were like, let's just where I can to gear to the party Friday not kind of in his honor, took a picture posted it when, and I love that you sent it to Shawna. Yeah, she appreciated that. You know, I was reading these posts from people I never met, you know, and they were like, you know, he made me feel so comfortable. And it was my first party. I met him through another friend. He took me to the side, introduced me around other people and just told me never good time and relax. And he was just that kind of guy. And you know, I'm just in all of people who can affect and touch people's lives like he has to that, to that

size, right, that amount of people like, it was just, it's impressive. And I want to miss him. And you know, hearts go out to Shawna and her family. And his, his family, I'm sure his brothers and sisters and he's probably got parents as young as he is. He's probably still got parents living. And he just hoped, and I think based on Shawna's conversations with us, you know, that she just wanted him to be able to pass peacefully without being in pain. And you know, we feel like that was her goal and their goal for him and that that's what happened because it was relatively quick there at the end. And, you know, we're so grateful for that that he didn't have to suffer too much. I hope at the end, so I'm super appreciative of all the people that said the con words to him and to her, because I know she read those. But anyway, I want, I want this to be a positive thing about his life and about my life and your life. And anybody that's listening to, man, just squeeze all the juice out that you can. I mean, you know, love the people that love you and, and be there for them,

serve other people and, you know, try to do right by people. And I think, I think that's what we're put here to do. Yep. So I'm grateful for his life. I really am. Yeah, for sure. Well, I look forward to having a good week with you and I look forward to going to be so weak somewhat chaotic here this week, just packing all of the things that we've got to pack and making sure everything is done and where it needs to be. And it's wild. You plan these things for so, I mean, we have been planning this. January, February, announced. Yeah. The tickets in January. It is just, it's like finally, it's here eight month planning. You know, and I'm just, yeah, I'm really I'm really excited to party at my own party. Maybe if I get lucky enough, you know, if I get lucky enough to party at my party. Okay. Tell them real quickly about the room, the bracelets and the rooms. We are we are going live tomorrow on our discord and on

our Facebook group. Okay. We have posted many read this all the glow tips and tricks. The women and everything you need to know. But I will say the number one thing we get asked is our hotel room. We only got for one night, but it says September 11th, which is Friday. The issue there comes from the event right platform. It's something that we could not change because it is a two day event. It defaults to the first day. One night rooms are not for Friday. They are for Saturday, even though it says September 11th. Gotcha. Can we send an email? Also, we already have. Oh yeah. Okay. Also, look at you already doing also you have to glow event tickets. If you bought a room, if you bought a double room, you have two tickets. If you bought a king room, you have two tickets.

If you have more than two people staying in your room, they have to buy their own event ticket. But yeah, we have a whole I mean, like there's info on the snack crawl in the room crawl. All of that info is on our page, but we are also going to put it out tomorrow on a live again. Yeah. Well, it's just we just have to get it out to everybody. So we are excited to see all this weekend. Yeah. Can't wait. That's it. Glow. I got love you. Love you. No. I love you. No. No. Okay. Okay. Okay. Love you. Bye.
