Israel-Iran Conflict Escalates, Thai Ship Found

Meanwhile, smoke filled the Beirut skyline as the conflict escalates over Iran's tight control of the strait of Hormuz. Iranian reports say a Thai cargo ship attacked back on March 11th, finally ran a ground near Kashmir Island, with three crew members still missing. After the crew abandoned it, the fighting has hit hard, killing more than 1,900 in Iran close to 1,111 in Lebanon, 18 in Israel. Three Israeli soldiers there, and 13 U.S. troops, alongside civilian losses in the Gulf, millions remain displaced across the region. President Trump pushed back his April 6 deadline to hit Iran's energy sites, claiming talks are progressing well, despite Iran's denials, leaving the standoff volatile as both sides dig in.
