Al Jazeera podcasts. The U.S. and Israel's war on Iran continues to rage with consequences being felt around the world. Civilian casualties are mounting and the number of displaced people is now in the millions. There have been explosions reported in cities across Iran as the U.S. continued their bombing campaign. The Iranian authorities say some strikes hit residential buildings, or the 1300 civilians have been killed there since the war began. A new wave of Iranian attacks have hit northern Israel, more than 50 people were injured after missiles hit a village near the town of Nazareth. The Israeli air strikes have hit residential neighborhoods in the Lebanese capital, more than 800,000 people have been displaced in Lebanon since Israel and Hasbullah began fighting again earlier this month. For NATO air defenses intercepted two ballistic missiles heading for Turkey. Turkish authorities say it was fired from Iran.

And the U.S. is temporarily dropping sanctions on Russian oil that's in tankers at sea. The cost of oil and gas have soared since the war broke out. The hoping extra supply could make a big difference. Well, a rescue operation is underway after a U.S. military refueling plane taking part in strikes on Iran crashed in neighboring Iraq. The Iraqi armed group, backed by Iran, says it shot down the KC-135 aircraft, which came down in the west of the country. The U.S. Central Command says the crash wasn't due to hostile or friendly fire. It also says another U.S. plane involved in the incident was able to land safely. Coming up on the take, what does the U.S.'s war on Iran look like in China? That's the take by Al Jazeera. Find it wherever you get your podcasts.
