Isaiah Brown Returns for Gators

0:00On March 27, Florida Gators guard Isaiah Brown is coming back for his junior year. The six foot four sophomore from Orlando played in 33 games this season, averaging 5.5 points per game and shooting about. 35% from beyond the arc. He stepped up into a bigger role late in the year. Brown had a rocky start to his sophomore campaign. Coaches pushed him hard over the summer and fall for more maturity and effort. He lost his spot in the rotation not once but twice before turning things around, especially on defense during non-conference games. Coach Todd Golden praised Brown's grit for sticking with it instead of giving up. That persistence earned him solid minutes around 15 to 20 per game toward the end, helping both his play and the team success. Adding to the family vibe, Brown's older brother AJ transferred in from Ohio University and redshirted this year. Both brothers planned to live together in Gainesville and should form a strong part of the back court next season.
