In this episode, The Senior Stooges sat down to reflect: was retirement what they expected? With their usual humor, they admitted things turned out somewhat differently. Instead of endless leisure, their days are now filled with new activities, part time work, and even more appointments than before. They joked about how “doing nothing” is surprisingly busy and how easy it is to fill up your day. Still, each Stooge agreed that retirement brought unexpected joys—spontaneous adventures, new hobbies, less responsibilities and simple pleasures. Although it’s not exactly as they imagined, freedom makes it deeply rewarding. Their advice: embrace the improbable and keep your sense of humor.
