Welcome to the Real Power Family Radio Show, brought to you by Family Success Triangle. Where we talk about how we achieved financial freedom in two years, by the time we were 30. If we can do it, so can you. We will bring you the people who can help you achieve financial freedom, time freedom, and location freedom. Learn how we integrated our business, investing and homeschooling into everyday life. Now, here is the Real Power Family, Eric, Lila, Devon, and Ethan. Welcome to the Real Power Family Radio Show. I'm your host, Eric Boyle, and we have the whole family, Lila, Devon, nice tie, Devon, and Ethan with a bright red atlasman's wear shirt. In fact, he came downstairs without a jacket, looked at me, saw me in Ohio in the middle of the winter wearing a short sleeve shirt and said, are you warm enough in that, Dad? What did I say, Ethan, with a price action and silver, it's keeping me plenty warm on
the inside. Oh, something like that. And with just a fun note, with silver, didn't we do a little thing with ice and silver, our awesome real power family silver rounds, which is good. I have a real power family silver around in my pocket, and I know it can cut directly through ice, which make sure you listen to Dana's episode. That is coming out on Tuesday, I believe, and, or did it just come out, Lila? Just came out this past Tuesday. Oh, yeah. Look up last Tuesday. Listen to Dana's episode, we talked about how silver is so conductive, it cuts straight through a block of ice, which is good because it's snowing outside in Ohio, and wind chill is below zero. And for all of you people in warmer climates, congratulations. You might have made better decisions in your life than some of the ones we made, but we're here for family. Okay, what are we really going to talk about today? Speaking of different places, I want to congratulate the farmers, and that once again, I want
to bring up the newsletter that's coming out. We write a predictions newsletter, I think a lot of people do that, and I'll go over how well I did or how poorly I did in 2025. In 2026, one of my biggest predictions, and remember, I'm always talking about see the big picture. Right, Lila? Absolutely. That's one of the most important things. I think that we're going to move towards decentralization. And what are, well, what is the one thing that ties us all together? It's like when we're talking about real estate, some people will talk about, I remember going to my first commercial real estate, an IRM class, which is really fantastic training. And we always talk about doors, meaning how many units do you have? I don't care how many buildings you have, because a single family home is not a 100-unit apartment complex. I care about how many units you have, but that's actually kind of irrelevant.
When you look at it from a commercial standpoint, how do you judge? Because if you have a 100-unit storage facility, Lila, how many equivalent houses or apartments is that? How does it take like four, five, ten, oh, yeah, there are almost ten times as much in the same areas. And if you look, I've found that it takes eight apartments on average in the same areas to equal five houses. So the one thing that we can all compare is square footage there. Well, if we're looking all across the Western world, but even more than that across the entire world, one thing that you can measure by is money. But it's not really money anymore. Is it a lot? Ethan? No. Oh, either of you. No. It is currency nowadays, right? Right. So the reason I'm saying it might seem weird to, you know, compare the Deutschmark to the
pound to the Lira. And then you have everything came together, yeah, 30 years ago, ish. And they had the, and then you compare, but we also have the Australian dollar. We have multiple dollars and multiple pesos. Well, the one thing that ties up, they're like different forms of real estate. You can't compare a house, which currently, the United States dollars like the three-bedroom house. It's the standard, if you will. And I look at every, at least from our point of view, or it might be a two-bedroom town home, if you're really into apartments. It's, you know, one thing to compare it to, but our value is falling so fast. And many of the others are falling faster. We need a solid stick that doesn't change. And how do we get the unstretchable measuring cape, Devon? You use gold and silver to measure things rather than the US dollar, which isn't notoriously flexible when it comes to value.
Not really any hard assets, I think. It is, but it's just so hard to compare hard assets word. I always look at our net worth is like my, my grade card. It's my score card in life. And it's not necessary to have the highest score that there's so many different things, but the easiest way to compare it, I'd rather compare time off. How much time does this buy me, right? Can I hire somebody to clean the house and mow the yard? How many hours of work do I need to work a week to provide for the lifestyle that we choose to live? Or if I retire, how many years of happiness do I have without worrying about running out of money? To time is far more important. It's just, you can kind of look at that and you want to look at it in dollars. But the dollars have changed. And I'm sure my dad was totally wrong because he was a dumb kid, just like I was a dumb kid. And the kids out there that are brilliant, you're going to grow up and be an old guy someday
and think, wow, was I a dumb kid, right? Ethan? Yeah. It seems to be how it. It seems. I don't think it's going to happen. I thought I was really smart. And then I look back and I go, man, I really didn't know anything and I still don't think I know a lot. There are. And that's coming. I'm here to learn. Yes. I'm sitting there and I don't know if he's in a duck blind or out in the cold or something he thought, man, someday if I could just save up $100,000, then I could retire and be good forever. And I'm sure there's plenty of people think that if I could just save up a million dollars and I could retire and be good forever. But if you live on $100,000 a year, that's only 10 years of income if million dollars stays the same value and buys the same amount of stuff. Now you can shrink your lifestyle to $50,000 a year and get 20 years out of that. So you see how time is good, but what about inflation? That really, now it's getting so confusing trying to put all these numbers together.
It's like doing the vector addition for landing an airplane in high winds like Ethan and I did this morning. Yes, Ethan. Yeah. We got to figure out a 20 degree angle, but it's 20 degrees off, but it's 90 degrees as a direct crosswind and what percentage is that? So we need something solid. And the bricks, I mean, ironically, they came up with this brilliant idea. It's only been around for six to 10,000 years, but for the last 50, we forgot it. It almost seems like a new idea to base a currency on gold or something that doesn't matter. Or I mean, something that doesn't change. It doesn't matter. Yes. Yes. It's interested. And I think over this break, Lila or Devon, start looking exactly how many grams or how many ounces is a denarius? Is that one ounce of silver or I know we have a half-drockma behind me, but I'd like to know exactly because even in the Bible, from thousands of years ago, people were working
for one denarius a day. So if that's an ounce of silver, think about it. And that's a silver's 80 bucks. And let's call minimum wage somewhere around $15. It would be roughly two ounces of silver per day. So that really hasn't changed. And with this massive spike we had at the end of last year, do you know that the last Friday of the year, silver went up 10% over the weekend? People were talking. And we recorded before that, we recorded a Danish show. But people were talking about how incredible silver was and how it's breaking. And multiple banks might go bankrupt, you know, Monday morning. And there's an AI. I'm so sick of YouTube. I was trying to find stuff and everything I pulled up on YouTube, Devon's like, that's AI. And as soon as you learn how to look for it, you realize, man, that's AI. Yeah. I got to teach my parents or more specifically, my dad had a look for AI just a little bit this past weekend and that was interesting.
And then to hear them, wow, everything on here is AI. Yep. Welcome to 2025. Didn't YouTube even propose or bring up something that they might try and limit the amount of AI that can be put on YouTube? I don't care how much they put on it, but I think it should clearly have to say. I mean, you should, you should have an AI blocker. So you can't get anything near search and say, or should have to start with, you know, AI. And I mean, I don't mind if somebody writes something and then has AI translated or say it or whatever, but I don't want AI doing all the research and then putting a fake video up, but it was just disconcerning because the lips don't completely match. And some of them had really good information. And being that a lot of the stuff you find on the internet is prone to exaggeration. I think that the AI is very prone to exaggeration. So when they're talking about the skies falling, the world's going to end now. I think that there might be some problems in the system.
And we're definitely in for a major monetary change. But I don't think it's going to crash and happen overnight. I do think it'll happen just like bankruptcy slowly and then all at once, but not quite that all at once. If you know what I mean. So my life is still trying to find out how much weight is in, yes, Devon, go ahead. It looks like one ounce is equal to about seven denarius. Whoa. Okay. We're going to take a break so I can need the math. We'll be right back. Ethan, you're known for being the youngest teenager on the real power family radio show on the Brushwood Media Network. You're also known for being quite successful and you're only 15. How'd you do that? Well, you've always taught me to buy more hard assets faster. And one of those hard assets that I've bought is the real power family silver round from American Gold Exchange. Get your real power family silver rounds by going to AMERgold.com or calling 80613-9323.
Welcome back to the real power family radio show. Before you went to break, we had Devon look up how many ounces are in a denarius or vice versa, I guess. We figured out, Devon, you said it's seven denarius for an ounce of silver. Is that correct? Yeah. Or just over seven denarius, which is a biblical Roman unit of measurement or currency, I should say. All right. So one ounce of silver would be a week of pay. Isn't that what we talk about before? Isn't a silver supposed to be a week's worth of food? Wasn't that originally how we... Yeah. Or a day of food for a family. But the bottom line is, even though people see that the silver is up, and we announce, oh my gosh, this stuff's changing so fast. I just announced that silver was up 129%, then it's 176%. Now it's, well, as I record this, it's 172% up.
It's shot up in China. I think it hit 85 or approached $85 in Shanghai. And there's a gap between the East and West price, at least over this crazy weekend. Gold was up 66%, and then, bam, 72% approaching the end of the year. So these things are really spiking up. And we talked about, why? Look at Aristotle's rules of money. Why are gold and silver going up so much? What are the properties of money that make gold and silver true money and not currency? It's got to be durable, portable, divisible, and valuable. My dollar is durable. True. It's perfectly divisible. It's portable. It's a lot more portable. But it's not intrinsically value. There's no intrinsic value to the dollar. It's not a store of value, because you can print practically an infinite amount of them.
That's the name difference. If you look back at Mike Maloney's Hidden Secrets of Money series, episode one goes into this, and he explains he has a more complete list than we just said here. And money and currency are basically the same. The only major difference is money is a store of value. Currency is not. Because look at how, you know, how long ago did you, I mean, you dad, mom, you guys couldn't you buy penny candy. And now look, they stopped making the pennies. What can you buy for a penny nowadays? Pretty much nothing. And remember the song, Shaven Haircut, Two Bits? Two bits? Yeah. That's like 12 and a half cents. How do you pay a half a cent? I don't really have those anymore. Yeah. So you actually had a hape pennies or half a penny, which I never saw. But I think my dad told me about them. The, and we also had Woodrow Wilson was on the $100,000 bill. Now you can't even get a $500 bill when used to get $100,000, which I'm sure it was a
gold certificate and it was only used and like, enter bank transfers or something. It's not like normal people had $100,000 back then. Normal people probably don't have $100,000 and they definitely don't walk around with it now. Yeah. So yeah, that what, what I want to get down to you though is gold is a store of value. And it's stock. How much of it is divided by the flow is very, very high. And in a previous say, I might have said that backwards, but basically almost all of the gold ever mined in history is still on earth and available to be used as money. Some of it's in jewelry, some of it's in, you know, the pyramids or tombs. But the vast majority fills up what is it an Olympic size pool or a couple Olympic size pools is all something like that. I think. And now the growth of the money supply is how many zeros they type into the computer at the Fed basically. I mean, they just make up whatever they want and worse than that, the growth of them.
And when I say money, what I mean is the currency supply, the growth of the currency supply is really more dictated and George Gavin does an incredible job of talking about this by the banks and their reserves and how much they loan out because they loan money into existence. So and anybody can do that. I've loaned money into existence. That's how you can literally create your own money. But if you go out and you buy a house for $50,000, which you can do that in Ohio and then you put 20,000 in it and you sell it for 100,000 and hold the mortgage. You now have an asset you can put on your balance sheet that says, so and so owes me $100,000. So you have created $30,000 out of 10 air, 50 plus 20. You take that 70 away from 100 to get 30 that you just created. That is the same way banks without doing any work loan money into existence. That can't happen with gold. What do you have to do for to get more gold, Devon?
You have to go mine it, which isn't even creating it. That's just you go and you dig in the ground and if you're good at what you do and perhaps are a little bit lucky, then after a lot of time, energy and effort, you pull more gold out of the ground. So first, you have to go stumbling around through the woods, hoping to find it, looking at geological foundations, which nobody is a geologist. I mean, what do they have a graduate in class of six last year? It's ridiculous how few people are going into this and how many college students or college age students think mining is the thing in the past. You do understand you can't have your iPhone or drive your Tesla without a bunch of geologists and miners working in the dirt and the rocks. It's not possible. Just throwing that out there for you and then once you find it, you got to get it drilled out of the ground. I'm talking about the craftsman that anything carries in his bag. It's pretty complex to take a course sample.
Then you test that and you make guesses and get an incredible team that preferably has done this before and then you go through a seven to ten year permitting process, depending where you at, might be more than 20 years. And then you hope the government and the local people don't turn against you and you finally get all your permits and you can finally start digging a hole on the ground and you take a ton of rocks out, use nasty chemicals on them. You crush them up and use the chemicals and make sure you don't have any EPA problems. And after a ton of rocks, you might get a partial ounce of gold. It's a lot to bring an ounce of gold up. How much does it cost in diesel fuel? Once the mine is open, just to dig the stuff up. Now you have to have all of the refineries that made the diesel fuel, but you can't make it unless you have the crude oil which came from the oil wells. I mean, think of all these things that go into it, all these energy inputs, all the time,
all the money, just to get an ounce of gold. So gold is absolutely limited like that. And silver is the same. Silver has an incredibly high stock to flow ratio. I mean, it's like three, meaning when we bring in silver, it immediately goes out the door. In fact, we have a deficit. I think we're pushing six years of a deficit now. And that is going to come home. If you listen to Dana's interview, the only, I'm like, where can we get more? How long until we run out? What's going on? And do you guys remember what Dana said, the only relief valve for this is price. The only thing that can happen to save the Silver Stock Piles is making it so expensive that Tesla can buy it, but not only are retail investors not buying it, they're molding down their silverware and selling it. They're taking the junk silver into the coin shops. And we're going to talk a little bit more about that right after this break. Every parent wants their kids to be successful.
And today's world, getting them the right knowledge to do this can be a challenge. My husband and I decided to homeschool our kids and give them a financial and real world education, rather than making them memorize things they would probably never use. Our results are kids who became financially free before they could drive with no money or credit from us. Now at 16 and 13, they co-host our Real Power Family Radio Show and Devin is in his third year of college. How can you give your kids a head start like this? Check out our book, Family Success Triangle, which outlines the lessons we taught our kids. We want you to achieve amazing results at any age. Get your copy of Family Success Triangle on Amazon today. And be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel at Real Power Family. And listen to the Real Power Family Radio Show Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. on the Brushwood Media Network. Welcome back to the Real Power Family Radio Show. Today we've been talking about Silver and Eric. I like what you're just talking about how the only relief valve on our Silver stockpiles is really the price to make it expensive that Tesla might be able to buy it.
But the average Joe is going to have a lot more issues with that. There's just not enough silver mind at this point and it's going to take us way too long to get new minds going and start catching that up. We're going to take 10 years or more before we even are able to start doing that. And that's not going to keep up with what our demand is going to be. Especially with AI coming online, right? Absolutely. And eight years ago, Devin wrote in his book, when is the best time to plan a tree, Devin? 20 years ago. But the second best time is today. And if you've been listening to us, we've been saying by silver, we are so in on silver that we even made our own real power family silver round, which you can get where, Ethan. You can get that at American Gold Exchange, AMERgold.com. And then we talked about the meme where it's like $20 silver, one guy is in line. $50 silver, two guys are in line.
$200 silver, there's a line around the block. Well, if I go and get my haircut today, which is the plan, and my barber starts talking about the price of silver, I know we're getting into a bubble. But I really don't think we're in Mania territory. We're not even close to it at $75 to $90. I see that silver is going to hit or approach a hundred. In my opinion, only not advice, just my guess really quickly. And probably be around 150 towards the end of this year. So, you know, like a year for now, but we just, we have no let up on the industrial need. I think solar panels are going to go way down, but still electric cars. All right, so some of the industrial needs going down, but they don't care. They're just going to buy however many electric cars they can sell. They need a lot of silver. However many solar panels they sell, they need a lot of silver. That's not going to affect. They're just, they're going to buy no matter what cost it is.
And if they have to raise their price, they'll raise their price. So the silver stackers, the people that have been collecting, it would have been nice if you would have bought a year ago or two years ago, or as long as we've been on here and talking about this or even way before that. Like I've been telling my kids buy and Devon loaded up on it when he was, well, he got a hundred ounces, which was a lot for him as a child. And it took him all year to work and earn enough money to pay for that at $18 an ounce. But now it's not $18, it's $80. So yes, you're up more than 400% Devon here up four times. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. But I don't think it is at all over. All of the things still line up. They can't increase production rapidly. They can't stop the demand. We're at a deficit right now. We're using more than we mine. So I see the industrial price of this pushing up. And it is way behind in gold. We talked about how it was just unheard of that actually went above a hundred
and stayed there for a few weeks. A hundred ounces of silver to buy an ounce of gold. Well, now it's dropped down to around 57 as we record this. And I always said that if it gets down, I might consider below 50 selling. I don't think I'll probably be buying at around 62. Dana says 62. My number has always been 62 and a half. I think I just got lucky. I don't know all the research I did took me to about 62.50. And it was somewhere between 60 and 65 ounces of silver to buy an ounce of gold. It seems to be about average lately. And so if the ratio is higher than that, I would always buy more silver. And if it's lower, I always buy more gold. So right now, if we're in the high 50s, if you can afford and you're going to put in a big order, I personally, if I don't own anything, I would start out buying a mixture of both. As just a month ago, I was saying, yeah, I'd still buy all silver. No, no, I'm a lot closer to 50.50. But if you only have a little bit of money, it's a lot easier to pay $80 for one ounce of
silver. If you can find a 10,000 gold, which they absolutely sell one 10,000 gold eagles at multiple places, you can call up American gold exchange and ask if they've got 10,000 quarter-ounds. Those should be around 500 bucks. There's a little bit higher markup, but if gold is around 4,500, then it'll be somewhere between $450 to $500, probably to buy that if you can find the 10 oz. So yeah, if you're putting a couple thousand in, I would personally buy more 50.50. And as the ratio goes down below 50, I'd be buying a lot more gold than silver. I don't know when. I don't know if I'll sell silver, but I'm incredibly helping on silver right now. And I'm certain in the 20s, maybe the 30s, I'd probably turn in a couple of monster boxes of silver to get more ounces of gold. That would make sense. But then again, I want to look at the big picture and see, and I see silver dramatically
spiking. It still is just catching up. So if gold goes up another 20%, you don't only have to increase by 20% to be up to another $1,000. It was so hard. It stuck at 1,000 for so long. It took so long to get to 3,000, but going from 4 to 5, you know, a 25% increase. From 5 to 6, it's 20% from 9 to 10, it's 11% increase. So it's going to start increasing by thousands for an ounce of gold. And it's just going to get faster and faster because it's a lower percentage for each $1,000. Make sense? Absolutely. Yeah. So we've talked about why is gold valuable because it's so limited. It's hard to get. It costs a lot of money that can't just print more. Why is silver all of exactly the same reasons as gold? And there's so much more demand for it. It's an industrial metal as well. It's like buying a duplex. It serves two purposes.
Everybody that owns a single family home and says, ooh, I want to move up to multifamily. They try and buy a duplex because that's what their mind accepts they can handle. By the way, if you're in that boat, go look at four units. You might actually get a far better deal because everybody wants to buy a duplex. And then all the people that want to do house hacking, what do they do? Ooh, I'm going to rent a duplex and rent out the other half. Nobody thinks I'm going to buy a four unit of complex and rent three of them out. I don't know why, but that's just the way the psychology works or what people are doing. So duplex is frequently suffer way too much probably because that's what Sam and Arlayan talks about. Probably is. Go to bigger pockets. I'm sure they'll tell you to do that. Yeah, I like your way better where you're looking at them as boxes that either make money or lose money. And it doesn't matter if there's, you know, four units to the box or just one unit to the box. What's going to make you the most money for your purchase price? And I think that's a better way to go for it. Well, you have to look at it in the same terms for gold and silver. We can come back right after this rate.
Brushwood, media network. Have you ever loved one benefacted by inflation? Yes. We have the product for you. Hard assets that hold their value like the real power family silver round are available at American Gold Exchange. You can visit American Gold Exchange at AMERgold.com or by calling 1-800-613-9323. Welcome back to the real power family radio show. And today we've been talking about gold and silver and dad, have you figured out what you were wanting to talk about right before we went to break? Yeah, the bottom line is you are absolutely correct, honey. You got to look at the numbers. It's like a box on a shelf. So don't get wrapped up and I want to buy silver. I want to buy gold. Look at the see the big picture and your own circumstances play into that. What can I afford if I only have $100? I'm not buying an ounce of gold or even a 10th ounce.
But if I do have a reasonable amount of money, then should I just buy this because I want this one with a pretty picture like our real power family rounds or should I buy gold? Is that a better bet? And I don't want you to buy our stuff just because it's ours. Cool. Go out and pick up one ounce or something. But if gold is a better deal, then you buy the better deal. You don't buy what you want. You buy what is best. That's what investing is. That's the difference between I saw this movie and it's about an illegal card game. But the lady in charge is like, you see that key is playing poker. Everybody else is gambling. Peace, slow, boring, folds easy, always plays the numbers and the cards, always counting statistics. That's poker. Everybody else is gambling. That's what investing. There's a difference. You can be playing poker and buying real estate. And if you do it one way, maybe in poker, I don't know, I'm not good enough.
I only gamble because I don't know what I'm doing. Some people might be good enough that it's, you know, a numbers game. That's how I play real estate. That's how I play all gold and silver and Bitcoin. That's how I play investing. It's always a number game. You only do with the numbers saying, never would your emotions say, yes, Ethan. Exactly. And I was going to bring up before, how many people, because you had brought up, don't just buy something because it, you know, has a cool face on it. How many people have you talked about this before? How many people will buy, say, an American eagle? And what is the markup for an eagle for, like, silver, isn't it, a couple dollars? It was seven or eight bucks when I looked last. And that was, that was back when it was like 40 bucks for an ounce, I think it was, now this is just, yeah, just last weekend, but, oh, yeah, when you go in business partner in real estate, who basically just says, do whatever you want, Eric, I call them up. We have a meeting. This is what I'm thinking. I have all this planned out and lay, he's like, yeah, whatever, Eric.
So he's, he's very difficult to get along with always just giving me everything I want. He's a fantastic business partner. And I guess I kind of annoy him because he goes, hey, do you want me to trim this? Should I get this? Can we take this tram, like, I don't care, Harold, do whatever you want. So yes, we get along. We know my strengths and we know his, and neither of us gets in the other ones way. Buying gold and silver is not his strength. And when he called me over the weekend, hey, remember when you bought this two ounce, or the two ten ounce bars of silver for me, they were like $500, I said, yes, Harold. Another $800 up, he's not $500 for the pair. And he goes, yeah, he goes, I wondered, are you putting in a silver order? I'm like, no, I just got a big silver order. But you know, you can, he goes, well, how do I buy silver? I bet you there was a massive uptake over the last week or so of how do I buy silver in Google searches. I think someone did point that out that there has been a big jump. I was going to bring that up.
How many do you think people might be experiencing FOMO because of the massive price or the, you know, out of doubt. There's no question. Yes. That's one of the major questions being asked. Did I already miss out or, you know, is it still time? Can I still buy and still get a benefit out of it? That's a big question being asked. And that's the name of the show today. Should I still, is it too late to buy silver? Here's the thing. By the time this comes out, it's going to be days after I recorded it, everything's going to change. And you know, it's not going to change. There's not going to be another mine open to produce silver than there was a couple years ago or there was last week. It takes years to open these Tesla is not going to throw its hands and say, you know what? We decided we're not using silver in our cars anymore. They're, Apple, there's not going to be an engineer coming and say, yeah, we decided silver is not that important. We can just do without it. They're still going to need it. So those fundamentals don't change the, even if they have a massive discovery, it'll
take many, many years before it's in production. Those fundamentals don't change. The price can very rapidly and if the price of gold goes away up, that shows more economic factors and it should be much more stable. Silver is always wildly volatile. Ironically, if you look at a volatility chart, it's probably more volatile right now than Bitcoin, which is really amusing. Yeah, that, that hasn't happened a little, at least a really long time. But I, I kind of wanted to go back to the average person on the street as tight. If Harold's calling me, I use that as my canary in a coal mine to say, people now heard of silver. They suddenly remembered that it exists and I think he was probably alive, yeah, tenured yet. I have a really close to it when they took silver out of the coins in 1964. So he wouldn't remember. He was either a little kid or just born. There were people, I mean, we always had silver in our coins.
That's what junk silver is, it's the old coins from before 1964. And now people are studying to rediscover. It's not anything, boys and girls, at 50 years ago or so, it was part of a monetary system. And now the bricks are announced gold. That's not a new thing. For 6,000 years, there's always been a major currency based on gold. And all that ended in August of 1971 with Nixon. But I knew it couldn't last. I can't believe it lasted this long. It's like the euro. I can't believe that the euro zone held together this long. So what I'm saying to bring all this together is in atoms, not only in Mike's video, hidden secrets of money, but atoms video hidden secrets of value. Keith Hawks about Alan's video. Yes. Alan Heberd. Alan Heberd, who is just on recently. If you look all the way back to Aristotle and Mike did a great job at telling you the characteristics of money, it's a limited supply. And that's why it holds value as kind of his conclusion.
But really, why does it hold value? And Alan picked up on something that nobody ever said before. And I think it's unbelievably important. It must be decentralized. Because if you centralized all the gold, if the United States government was in charge of all the gold, that's kind of what got us onto Brent and Woods. And then the US cheated. And that's why we went to the dollar standard and maybe the petro dollar standard. But all that happened in 71 after 30 years of a more or less honest growth. But in that period, we had Vietnam, Nixon, guns and butter with Johnson, and then to the point where Nixon had to pull us off. And the only thing that saved the value of the dollar was we tied it into a barrel of oil by not because it was tied to oil, but because everybody had to buy oil and dollars. So they needed the supply of dollars and we could export our inflation. This is what it doesn't matter.
It's a barrel of oil announcing gold, a ton of silver. It doesn't matter. If one centralized party has control of it, they can cheat. And I think we're seeing that more and more all across the world. And right where I started with decentralization, we're coming back to that right after this break. I'm Eric from the Real Power Family Radio Show on the Brushwood Media Network. I'm here with my lovely wife, Alilah, who is known as the mom of the power family. And I got to tell you, just 25 years ago, we were sleeping on a mattress on a warehouse floor. Then we learned to buy more hard assets faster, like Real Power Family Silver Rounds from American Gold Exchange. If you want to get your own Real Power family Silver Rounds, you can call American Gold Exchange at 1-800-613-9323 or you can visit their website at AMERgold.com.
Welcome back to the Real Power Family Radio Show. Before we went to break, Dan said we're going to come back to decentralization or talking about decentralization, right? Because if something centralized, then they have no mom. It's easy for them to cheat if it's not decentralized. Yeah. They have the power. Isn't that why we like Bitcoin so much is because there's no, that's what makes it different is they have, well, one of the reasons it's limited. And there's no, at least to our knowledge, no major party behind it. Ethereum is something that a lot of people also like or at least did a couple years ago, who's to say whoever runs that, you know, whoever runs Ethereum. Yeah, we're telling him that I don't know if he's still as a head person or whatever. But I remember an interview of him, he's just got this old white T-shirt on, sitting on a couch or something. And he goes, yeah, this is so much better than Bitcoin, well, it might be better. There's a currency, but not as a store of value.
And that's why you hear people say that Bitcoin is digital gold. And I always compare it Ethereum to silver. It has a better use case. It's needed in electronics. Well, there's uses for Ethereum. But one of the good things about gold is it's too expensive to use it for anything. I've got a gold chain, I got a golden ring, I got a gold watch. But the amount of jewelry that you can wear is limited. And at some price, you'll start selling the jewelry. It's best use is to sit in a vault as a store of your time. You work, you put in the time, you put in the energy, you use your knowledge, you create value for the world, and they give you something a return. And you can get an apple, but if you provide too much value, then you need a cart full of apples or you need a cow. It might be seashells or a big rock. These have all been used for money. It could be salt. And none of them worked out as well as gold because it doesn't tarnish, it doesn't erode,
it doesn't wash away, it doesn't change, it doesn't get moldy, go bad, die. It's just there. It looks pretty and that's it. So it is the ultimate store and has the history and has always been the ultimate store. And yet, if one government managed to collect almost all the gold in the world, they could ruin it for everybody. The only thing, and that's one thing, I'm not a fan of losing half the money I invested in micro or in strategies. I got into that way too late, but I just tossed a couple grand in there because it seemed like a long-term boring thing. I should have listened to my own advice, never buy a big company. I do much better with these micro things and I assume that some of them are going to go to zero. It was getting slightly worrisome that Michael Saylor controlled so much of the Bitcoin in the world. I definitely, oh, and when they announced a strategic Bitcoin reserve in America, America could totally, they don't understand all they'd have to do, let Bitcoin go to $10 million.
They don't care. With the current market cap of Bitcoin, what's the current market cap of Bitcoin? Devin, about two, two and a half trillion dollars, give me a minute and look it up. With the current market cap, that's less than the deficit this year. Even if it went up 500, a thousand percent, the US government could just print money and buy it. Now, it wouldn't get it off the cold wall so the people that are not paying attention. But if they control enough of it, then, and I don't think anybody in government would even believe me, let alone try this, so I'm not worried about it. But if they control enough of it, they could do their best to ruin it. But that's not what they're doing. If governments want to try and stop Bitcoin, they don't go after it. It's 2.96 trillion. Thank you. I don't know why I'm not finding this. That's all of crypto, not just Bitcoin. We got 3 trillion. 1.75 trillion, yes, the market cap for Bitcoin. There we go.
There we go. Close to two. So here we are 1.75 and three total. It's more than half of all of the crypto out there by dollar is stored in Bitcoin. So getting back to the hidden secrets of value with Alan Heberden, he hit on something really important. It's not just that it's a story of value. Why is it a story of value because it's decentralized? And having the central banks are the biggest buyers at gold and have been for years. For a long time, they were selling and now they're buying. And nobody really stores a lot of silver. And JP Morgan was net short and they're, I think their head trader are still in jail. They paid. I haven't written on somewhere. They paid it obscene. I'm at $900 million fine for suppressing. I think it was over 900 million for suppressing the silver price yet. If you watch the big short Michael Burys complaining, he's like, so what you're saying is now that you've covered all your shorts, you're going to let the prices go to where they're supposed
to be. And I think that's what they did with silver. But everybody should be aware. If JP Morgan paid these huge fines for price suppression, LBMA also had troubles. They were suppressing the price, totally manipulating the market because it's so easy for people like that. But big companies to manipulate the silver market, it's such a small market cap, although it is now bigger than some countries with the price spikes. I think that they are no longer net short. JP Morgan probably is the longest, meaning they own the most real silver of anyone in the world. And so they're going to let the price go up. And if there's a bunch of people short in Europe at the LBMA or wherever in these banks, that's going to be very bad for them. And by the time you listen to this, it might already be hitting the news, something bad happened, or they might paper over it somehow. But if people are demanding physical delivery, I see that is really good. For world economics, the thing is I don't want JP Morgan to buy it all any more than
the US government. I don't trust either of them as much as I trust Joe and Bob the plumber. I want Susie the hairdresser. I want all of us normal people to have ten or a hundred ounces of silver and not one person to have a hundred tons. Make sense, Lila? Absolutely. You don't want too much power concentrated in one area. We want a whole bunch of us little guys to have our own little bits of it so that it's not centralized in one place for anything. Bitcoin really made decentralization known. I never, I don't know if I was thinking about it today. If it weren't for cryptocurrencies, in general, and Bitcoin in particular, which is again, totally different, no cryptocurrency is decentralized. Everyone has one single point of failure. It's absolutely centralized except for Bitcoin. There are Bitcoin and there's every other crypto. They're wildly different. Ethereum has nothing like Bitcoin.
Ethereum, even though it's the second highest in market cap, it's like every other one except for Bitcoin. It's not decentralized. Gold has always been a store of value because it was decentralized and it was worth way less in South America than it was in Spain. So they took a bunch of gold and moved it there. But when there was a flood of gold, they actually had rampant inflation because the supply increased so much. So you can't have inflation with gold. Now we're more on a, until we put up barriers like the bricks, Russia, China against the US or Europe, other than the barriers that our governments make for us, gold, while it's a pain to transfer overseas because it's so heavy and stuff, it's still more or less free flows. The contracts are free flowing and you've got China came out with that just took effect that they're not allowed to export without a special government license anymore silver.
And they do a lot of the refining of silver. I don't see that as a huge thing that's going to kill the market or make it go to 200. I see that as another political hurdle. It's just them trying to mess up free economic trade. Not unlike the US government or the Canadian government or the European or any other government out there. They're all doing their own thing. We got our tariffs. They have their, you know, restrictions, whatever. The point is I personally think that just like I said before and just like I wrote in that seven-part newsletter, which I haven't already read, that is the number one place. If you're fairly new to investing, if all you've ever done is bought stocks, bonds and mutual funds or trusted your broker and you want to understand how many different real assets there are that you can easily buy on your own, that's the best newsletter. I mean, I should have published in it a book or something. We put it in a seven-part newsletter to really give people a great basis on how to start.
And even if you're more advanced in some of these, read the other sections you'll probably learn a lot about that that you didn't know before. The only thing that is weak on is paper assets because let's face it, I'm just not any good at paper assets. I own very little of those. Yeah. And you got to do what you're good at, what you know a lot about. And everybody talks about stocks, bonds and mutual funds. I didn't need to really elaborate. Although I do admit for some people they are better. There are reasons to own those. And I talk about that. I'm not saying you should know anything. I'm saying everyone should open their eyes and see everything they can. You'll never see it all, but it's better than getting fixated on one thing. And if you focus on the decentralization, I can tell you why silver has got to jump because of the industrial domain and the deficit. I can tell you why gold has to jump because inflation rate, the amount that we mind compared to the stock to flow ratio, it is actually growing faster than Bitcoin
grows. But it's still incredibly, it's growth is very slow. And if the price at gold continues to rise, silver should have to rise more. I can tell you how Bitcoin every four years gets less inflationary. It actually decreases. So it's not disinflationary. It's not deflationary, it's disinflationary, which is really confusing. It just goes up less. Yeah. And now it is less than the target of the Federal Reserve. I think it's at 1.8% and the Federal Reserve targets 2%. But the Federal Reserve is over 3% right now. It's ridiculous. And that's what they promote. OK, it's probably twice that if frequently is twice that based off everything I've seen over the past, what, five years or more. Let us sum up and try and answer a question that was never asked or that was asked to many other people. I'll answer it. No, it is not too late to buy hard assets. Real estate is going to run into some headwinds this year.
And it's also going to get some tailwind. Read my newsletter if you want to see where I think it's going to end up. And we are still buying more real estate. I haven't stopped. I will continue to buy Bitcoin, gold and silver. As I produce more value in my businesses, I plan on storing that value in gold, silver and Bitcoin. And what am I buying at any time during this year? Well that depends on all of the different factors going in. Would I be afraid to buy silver at $75? No. If I needed the money in the next six months, I absolutely would not. I wouldn't buy any of these things if I needed the money in the next year. But if your goal is to store value for years, then I really think any of them would be a far better place to store it than a bank account in dollars. And especially better than a bank account in pesos, right? Yes.
What do you buy? Well, the same thing I talk about in the newsletter. Look at the gold and silver ratio. Look at what's up and down. Could it Bitcoin crashing? Yeah, I could keep going down. I think that $80,000 is a pretty good floor for it. I said that way, I said that one up over 110 to 120 and it crashed to the 80s. Now it's sitting around 87, 88. I still say, yeah, it could drop another 10%. But I think right around the 80,000 mark is a pretty good floor. And if you're going to hold it for four or five years, then you should be in great shape. I think it'll be significantly higher. So yeah, take this as you will. I think all three of these are still good places to store money. I think that the AI stocks, which we've talked about before, and I'm sure we'll talk a lot more about if I wanted to invest in the stock market. The only thing I'd want is picks and shovels and not Nvidia at these price to earning ratios. I think the biggest winners in AI stocks are going to be the small businesses.
I said it before. If you figure out how to use AI in your business, it's not the one that reaches a singularity and takes over the world. It's not SkyNet. It's the mom and pop store that figure out how to become more efficient using AI. I think those are the ones that win and you really can't invest in them. You can be one, but you can't invest in one. Think about that. That is more or less what I see. The world is going towards more decentralization. You see that with the farmers all across Europe. The world is going to more decentralized money, which is gold, silver, and Bitcoin. The world is going towards decentralized governments, which are going to make the biggest governments. It might make the years unfold this year. I would not be surprised at all if the UN or the EU were breaking up by the end of the year. And we have more personal freedoms and rights. And where does that all come together? Like square feet is the one thing we can all talk about in real estate.
Actual ounces of gold or silver is the one thing we can all talk about worldwide. It's destroying value. Wrap it up, Lila. If you want to learn more, you can go to AMERgold.com. He's got a section on gold news and his video series is getting better and better every time we watch it. You can also learn more from goldsilver.com and the hidden secrets of money, Devon. I don't know about everybody else, but I'm probably going to keep buying gold, silver, and other hard assets until they stop printing more US dollars. So I might be here for a while. Ethan, dad brought up a lot of stuff and talked about his newsletter. So make sure you go sign up for our free newsletter at realpowerfamily.com. I've been saying to buy more hard assets faster since probably 2005. The only thing that changes is how much of the value of the excess value I create do I put into each one of the hard assets like gold, silver, Bitcoin, real estate.
Of course, Bitcoin wasn't a thing in O5, but you get my point. How much what allocation are you going to put where? That's the decision you need to make. And if you don't have any idea, start with my seven part newsletter. It is a great introduction to all the possibilities and then you can make the decision from there.
