Intimacy and the Playboy

It is what they secretly crave--and enjoy---more than even sex.  Does it follow that long-term monogamy is therefore the right choice for the playboy? Not necessarily, since it is common knowledge that sex tends to drop off after a while in a monogamous relationship, and that with it intimacy can often also die.  Taking a pragmatic approach, the playboy therefore favours mini-relationships over long-term commitments. While this route is not 'easy', it is perhaps the most realistic, given the truths of the sexual marketplace.  Sign up for Troy's daily email here.
