He first faced misdemeanor counts of domestic violence, assaults on a female, and making threats after an argument turned physical. Her doc say he hit his wife with a bag and grabbed a knife, chasing her outside. His wife of 23 years told deputies about a long pattern of abuse, including past burns and beatings a center to the emergency room. Their daughter backed her up, saying she heard the threats, called 911, and saw the chase. Prosecutors upgraded the case to attempted first-degree murder on April 8th. Bale jumped from $5,000 to $100,000, which he posted on April 10th, with orders to stay away from his wife and skip alcohol.
