They've shown flashes of pulling ahead against teams like Texas Tech and Purdue, but close calls against Maryland and others still ended in losses. Coach Brad Underwood took responsibility after the latest Wisconsin over time loss in the big 10 tournament quarter finals. He pointed out mental lapses like poor rebounding or failing to block out, saying those single moments have cost them repeatedly from East Lansing to Champagne. If the Lini had flipped just one key play in each of those five games, a rebound, a stop, or a free throw, they'd sit at 29 wins and 3 losses right now.
