Hull are showstoppers & Spurs are no-shows
About this episode
You've been mauled by the tigers! Not really, this is just a podcast, but Manchester United felt the stripey wrath of the Premier League's new boys and were left stranded by Northern Rail to pile on a miserable Saturday afternoon in Hull. Amongst all of this, Spurs were dreadful, to Sam's delight, leading Toby to fantasise about cheese sandwiches for a while.
Liverpool hit back late against Newcastle, who looked alright so we talk about that, and there was a tantalising turf war as Chelsea won the rights to the fantastically stylish Fulham Road Five Guys.
Just to note, one of us didn't have any headphones this week which meant there's a bit less of the electric back-and-forth our listeners are used to - but expect more good stuff in two weeks time after Toby scouts the Greek Super League for the next Stelios Giannakopoulos.
