Tatum, not much space, it doesn't matter. Oh, the flex is back. Come on. Tatum. Come on, everybody. Come on, I'm in right. GT goes up and it rolls home. Tatum. Come on. No answers. Final hour, Jones and Keith, WEEEI. We're taking you up until 2 o'clock. WEEEI afternoons takes over at that point. You can dial us up 617-779-793-7. We will update the Jones and Keith 1990-slash early 2000s. Heavy metal, new metal, grunge, alternative pop punk, butt rock and rock bands, bracket championship matchup is set between Nirvana and Metallica. You can go vote at Jones and Keith as many of you have. I'm gonna let you know right now Metallica heads. They're gonna need your votes early and often. So go vote at Jones and Keith.

If you're a Nirvana fan, it's going well, but you can vote there as well. We'll announce the winner tomorrow morning on the Jones and Keith show, which will also be on the road on Friday. We'll be at the cast. Oh, we're busy for the Red Sox home opener. So busy week around these parts. Very exciting. We talked a lot of Red Sox in the first three hours. We just mixed in all the latest from the owners meetings in Arizona. Robert Kraft, Elliott Wolf, among those speaking, Mike Rabel talks tomorrow morning. Tommy Curry, I'm going to join us live from Arizona tomorrow to get the lay of the land. But let's get back into the Celtics and the Bruins huge weekend for both. Starting with the Celtics, Jason Tatum kind of looks all the way back. Kind of looks very much so this was 11th game back. It was the most points that he'd had in game 32 playing without Jalen Brown. Against the decent frisky, we'll call him Hornet team. Yeah. And he shot over 50% from the field for the first time all season. And he took more twos and threes. He also had a season high in assists. And he played fewer minutes than he had in like previous games, right?

He played 31. He started obviously in the high 20s. And then it kind of morphed up and bloomed up. Even I think he had a 35 minute game. So there's already been like three or four instances in this run. We're like, oh, like he's further along than I thought he was going to be even the second half of the first game. I started to feel like, oh, this is a little bit better than I thought. The second game certainly you're like, oh, this is better. And then once they started to increase the minutes, the only thing I was even pointing to was like, already still shooting a poor percentage, right? He's still selling for a lot of three. Exactly. And he was shooting a poor percentage and his shot selection was out of whack. And but the game yesterday, he had a lot of shots around the hoop or like these like in the paint kind of followways. And he had like a shooter's role going, right? Like there was a few times where like the balls with the spin out, then it would go in. And so he was pretty dominant in the game. It was probably his best game. Like I think there are other games like the Thunder game where like the team is obviously more impressive.

But his individual performance where, you know, if you woke somebody up that hadn't been watching basketball a year, they've never in a million years would have thought he had a Achilles injury and it's just come back. They'd be like, oh, yeah, that looks like Tatum from the last couple of years where he was first team on NBA. That's what it looked like to me. And I think to your point on shot selection, that does feel like it's corrected the last few games. He does look like all NBA Tatum. Charlotte's good. Atlanta's good or at least they're both hot. Anyway, I think Charlotte's good. I think Atlanta's hot. And I think, okay, see, the win before that. They're arguably the best team in the league. So I think the way that the team's been playing, they've won seven out of eight and three straight. All three other wins. I think on some level are impressive. Tatum seems to be rounding into form. I do think some of those games early, Keith. Like eight of his 16 shots against Dallas. His first came back threes nine of his 16 against Cleveland threes 14 out of 24 against San Antonio threes. You know, he had some more recently to the Golden State game 11 out of 15 Memphis nine out of 15.

And then they had their loss against Minnesota. And I think they might have recalibrated some things. Since then half his shots were from three against OKC six out of 12. His volume was way down in that game. He only took eight threes on 24 attempts against Atlanta. No, Jalen. He took 10 on 23 against Charlotte. So I think that's a number that you want a little bit more in line. Now Jalen is going to be in tonight. Tatum's out, by the way, Tatum's already been ruled out for the game in Atlanta. Yep. Jalen. But good news on Brown. Jalen's going to play. So I think it's not a worst case scenario. We're like, no, he's not playing again with this Achilles tendonitis. I still think it's something to watch and manage and monitor. He just sat down two straight games. So I don't think it's nothing. But as I said earlier, I don't think it's going to impact him on this playoff run. It might pop up at some point. And as we know, with Tatum last year and Achilles could pop at any point. But I'm not overly concerned about it right now, especially knowing that he's back for a game in Atlanta. It's probably more management than anything. But those ratios for Tatum, I think look a lot better. Eight threes on 24 attempts against the Hawks 10 on 23 against Charlotte.

I think that looks a lot more in line. And I think for the Charlotte game. A team that I'd like to avoid in the first round. And I think it's playing really good basketball. It has been for a while and they smoked the Celtics. The last time they played each other for Tatum to kind of put the team on his back early. And that also when Charlotte was getting up off the mat a little bit, it was a single-digit game to hit the Dagger 3, to push it back to 16 and call a time out and pretty much forced Charles Lee to pull everybody. I thought it was a pretty good wire to wire performance and the best for Tatum. So I agree with the caller earlier today. He was Joe on the car. Keith said, all right, guys, no more excuses for Tatum. He's now back. The Achilles isn't bothering him anymore. If he has an off night, it's not because of the Achilles. The chemistry seems fine with the team. They beat OKC. They beat some other hot teams. So now when they have a bad night or Tatum has an off night, we just take it at face value. The Achilles excuse, I think, is kind of out the window. Yeah, it is. I would say it's not to sort of like middle it. But the fact that he's not playing tonight, I think is good and smart. So it's not like he's full go like the Jason Tatum that plays 75 games a year back to back.

So you don't need to do that, right? No, but like to the caller's point about being like, I don't want to hear anything about the Achilles. Like, well, he's not playing tonight because he is managing that. No, no, that's fair. That's fair. But no, the rest of the way. And then, you know, the beauty of the playoffs or beauty or however you look at it, it is dragged out. There are no back to backs. You can play forever. You get a multiple days off between games within one series. So that all lines up really good for Tatum and for everybody else on the roster. Going back to his threes last year, he took 10 a game and also took 10 twos. That was the closest the percentage ever was for him. And that was his career high in threes. And you're saying that's closest threes in twos. Yeah, because it all has all NBA first team seasons. It was 20 and a half shots, eight and a half and more threes. It was 21 shots, nine threes. It was 19 and eight. Then last year, it was 20 and 10. And then this year, when you factor in the game from yesterday, it's now at 18 shots total, exactly nine or threes. So like that's sort of the dance that he's been dancing in the last couple of years.

But I think even 50, 50, I'm okay with. And then certainly when it's like a couple more twos, just go into the basket. His free throws are down from what they were a few years ago. That's not a shock. I think you only had five free throws in the game yesterday. But that's one maybe come playoff time where you see that number maybe increased up to around eight. And still though, even with all that said, I think he's going to be consistently your second score. Like he was awesome yesterday, but Brown wasn't even playing. I think when the two are there together, it's going to make for a really good duo. And one that other teams in the NBA can't really compete with. Like I don't think, I mean, maybe I don't think you're going to have to face them. But like Murray and Yokech, like something like that. Because as good as the other like real stiff competition is, it's kind of like one top guy. It's like SGA. It's Wembee. It's Kate Cunningham, if he returns. I agree. Maybe Brunson Towns, I guess. I never give towns a lot of credit. I think they have the best duo left. Yeah. I mean, I mean, at a real championship contending teams, they have the best duo. Denver might be closest.

And that would be very Yokech heavy. Murray's been playing incredibly at 50. Yeah. So if you want to say that one final, give it to you. But I think better than OKC. Better than San Antonio. Better than anybody in the East. Yeah. I mean, that is how I feel about that duo. Now that Tatum looks like he's back. And meaning like back to himself. Oh, yeah. I agree. The pecking orders should still be there. Jalen, it's going to run through him. And Tatum has to give some of that up. So in that way, I guess it's not all the way back. And he's still being managed on back to backs. But health wise, he looks fine. The Achilles is not bothering him. It doesn't look like. So as the caller said earlier, if he goes five for 20. Don't blame the Achilles. Yeah. That's what it is. It's a bad guys are allowed to have bad nights. Right. But let's call it a bad night. Let's not say it's because of the Achilles. I think that's fair. Jalen, by the way, tweeted over the weekend. 50 wins in a gap year. Shamrock emoji. Right. Yeah, it's fair to call this a gap year. Well, so I never called it a gap year. But I guess it comes into the semantics on how you define that. Because I didn't think they were a title team. I didn't think they were a lottery team.

I thought they were a playoff team. I thought they were a top six playoff team. But I also didn't think they were going to win 50 games. So if you want to shame people for being like, oh, nobody thought we're going to be here. That's fair. That is fair. Because I didn't like that. And I also didn't think they were going to suck. Like people acting like it was a gap year and they were going into the lottery and they were going to miss the playoffs. We definitely didn't think that. Although there was a comment. Somebody actually texted this earlier today. I forget the exact quote. But earlier in the year, Brad Stevens, when he was holding one of his press conferences, I believe used the term retool. Like rebuild and retool or retool and rebuild. So like, because I think, you know, they're asking like, hey, don't take them. And you just got rid of poor Zingers, whorfer and holiday. Like, what do you even call this? And I don't think he certainly wasn't calling it a gap or a bridge. But he also didn't say like, we're going for it. We're a title team. So I wonder if Brown's talking more about like as much about those guys. I mean, look, if it's a shot at your own or great. Yeah, maybe. Fine. If that's you're taking a shot at Jalen Fine. I don't think there were that many fans

or media types that expected you to miss the postseason. So I would just wonder who that's exactly intended for. If it's intended for Bill Chisholm, then I'm all for it. If it's intended for like media members like us, then point that somewhere else because we had up with another vague Jalen Brown comment. We're like, who is this versus? We just tell us right now. Not as good. If you want to say they've overachieved, they absolutely have. I've been wrong about that. I think they win 50 games. I didn't think they'd be the two seed in the East. I didn't think they'd be contending for a championship. So all that I'm wrong about. Gapier? I didn't say gapier. No one said gapier. Let me ask the robots out there. What was it? What was Gemini tell you about Gapier? I said, I typed in, who called the Celtic season a gap year? Hey, I overview. Jalen Brown. It is latest week. There you go. Jalen Brown poked fun at quote, doubters and haters. Yeah. Who? Who labeled the season? But we can't. Like, who said it? Various media pundits and fans out of the team. Just as various. There's a single person actually on there. All right. So when they cited the person who said gapier was Jalen.

Yeah. Cool. Anyways, look. It's fine. No, but honestly, like, I'll give Rodney Harrison credit when he would find a random blogger that said the paths aren't that good. And be like, nobody in the world thinks we can win a Super Bowl. If you want to use this for motivation, great. I just don't really know exactly where it's coming from. There's just a big gap between, they've overachieved, which they have. And I think we've given a credit for that. Congrats. And gapier. I certainly didn't say that. Six, one, seven, seven, seven, nine, seven, ninety, three, seven. I might have said about the Bruins, Keith. Oh, yeah. If the Bruins want to clinch a playoff spot and throw in people's faces, I think they have the right to do that. I look, they haven't clinched yet. I feel like this weekend for all intents and purposes they did. Like I think they are, they are now making the playoffs, which I wasn't sure they were going to be able to steal the deal on. And I guess they technically haven't done that yet. But I feel like this weekend, the win over Minnesota, the two points last night, I know Columbus got a point out of it as well, but I thought you're about to get zero and Columbus was about to get two. And you played Swaman back to back, maybe by choice, maybe not.

I know the corpse got hurt in there. So how much of that was happening anyway and how much of it is because the corpse picked up the injury. Who knows? But I feel like for all intents and purposes, they clinched this weekend. And now that they're in there, I'm starting a wonder team that can go on a bit of a run. And that does not mean win the cup. That doesn't even necessarily mean Easter conference final, but could they win around? Yeah. And if you can win one, could you win two and maybe be at an Easter conference final and play your way out of the Atlantic? If that's how the seeding falls, yeah, I'm starting to think this team could do that because the obvious one is the goal is hot. And I didn't think he had the greatest weekend, but a hot goal he can carry you a long way in that tournament. And I think they now are, I believe in the scoring depth a little more than I thought. I thought that was more to use Cam Newton's word, fool's gold. And I thought it was really evaporating around the trade deadline when Morgan Geeky went cold. He's still cold. No, but but now other, other guys, like, no, there haven't been guys popping up. I believe more in that other depth. Arbitin middle stat. Some of these other guys are a little bit.

When the Bruins have gone on runs, they've had three lines, you know, I mean, they made a cup final basically with one line against the Blues, but when they won it in 2011, they had scoring depth, you know, I think when they've gone on some other runs when they got back in 2013, I thought they had scoring depth. I think scoring depth in a hot goalie, that's the kind of team that goes on a run. I think the Bruins might be that. Paul Zaka, by the way, is like two away from a 30 goal season. He might, he might, he might wind up with more than Geeky this year. The way he's guy would end out it the way they're both going. Geeky's at 34 goals. He has won in the last month, he's one goal in March, and it was on March 5th. So yeah, man, he's, he's obviously cool. So we were also looking up some of the NHL playoff odds, like just, our percentage chance to make the playoffs. Yeah, where do you look? Money puck. Right now, I'm looking at the athletic. Okay, what do they have? I think they've been the most down on the Bruins actually. Yeah, because at one point, remember, it was like 50, 50, 53. Are they going into the weekend? Where do you, what's your guess? Where's it stand right now? I think they're modeling, knowing their modeling has been most down, which I guess is another

way of saying they've been most wrong about the Bruins. I think they were like 60 something earlier in the weekend. I'm going to say they're over 75% right now. Yeah, 82. Oh, wow, even higher. 82. And that model's been down on the Bruins. 2% to make the cup less than less than 1% to win the cup. Okay. I don't know how they come up with that. So you're telling me there's a chance. They have the lightning basically to win the cup. They think the lightning are going to win it. Well, I think bring up the lightning. I think that's the other piece too. You might face them in the first round. You might avoid them. That's the other thing right now. First of all, the Bruins just need to get in. But then even after that, trying to figure out who they would play. There's like six different choices right now. Because they themselves could be Wild Card 1, Wild Card 2, number three in the division. And then the top teams in the division are right now tied in the lightning and the sabers. Buffalo and the lightning and the Atlantic. And if you fall down to Wild Card 2, which I don't, I think is mathematically possible. Now I don't think that's super realistic. But if you fall down to Wild Card 2 and Carolina plays ahead of Buffalo and Tampa. Now they're the overall one seed in the East Wild Card 2 and play the overall one seed.

You could still play your way onto the metro side of the playoff race. So I was pretty open. I would that's going to happen, but that's mathematically possible. Most likely you're getting Tampa and but let's say you got Buffalo. You can't be Buffalo and Round One. Of course you can. You just beat them. Yeah. Of course you can beat that team. Take go on a run. Of course you can. I know. Like once again, you're looking at you're like, well, the Eastern Conference and basketball is pretty open. The AFC for the Patriots was open and they took advantage of it. Now with the in the NHL, you're probably thinking, if the lightning are the favorite, that's fair. But still if you're like lightning or the field to win the East, I take the field and they're not like that. I think you have to take the field in that sport. Uh, yeah, probably right. But even still you're looking at it, you're like, all right, especially if they avoid them and any of the other teams that they face in the first round, you're something good match upon your hands. And by the way, not only was it a great weekend for the Bruins, not a great start to the game yesterday. No, but a great weekend. Four points. And forcing over time was a win where you guaranteed yourself a point and then you went on the filthy, uh, shoot out goal from Arvidson yesterday.

Hagen's is on the way too. And I, I don't know what the reporting's been today. Maybe I've missed it. I wouldn't be shocked if they drop him in there tomorrow. He got his first goal over the weekend. That would be cool. He added an assist. I wouldn't be shocked if he gets dropped in there. It's a home game against Dallas. Then it's three on the road and there's a back to back in there on the road as well. I don't know if that's the proper place to do it. I wouldn't be shocked if he's in there tomorrow against Dallas. I'd call him up. So he's on the way. It feels like add him into the mix with the pasta line. The Arvidson and Zocka line really feels like it's going. And then even Lindholm is woken up a little bit with geeky. Maybe that's where you add in Hagen's to be good. It feels like he has some scoring depth and a hot goalie plus maybe Buffalo in the first round. That feels like a recipe to go on a run six, one, seven, seven, seven, nine, seven, ninety three, seven. Go vote in the Jones and Keith March madness, 1990 slash early 2000 heavy metal, new metal grunge alternative pop punk, butt rock, rock bands, bracket, Metallica, the Nirvana will announce the winner tomorrow on Jones and Keith at the conclusion of the

month, the March, March madness, all month long here on the show, w e i afternoons comes your way at two o'clock. You can dial them up. We will get to the clip to shore and right after trending with Billy Lanny. It's time for grab back. Coming up after trending after trending after trending with Lanny. You'll be hit by you'll be struck by a smooth grab bag. Oh, it certainly is time to grab back here on Jones and Keith w e i grab bag is brought to you by a wake in 180 weight loss. The Boston Red Sox are in action. Take it on the Houston Astros tonight eight, ten first pitch. You know what that means, seven, ten pregame right here on w e i we have all the games. You don't have to go looking for them. They're all right here. Ron Harris. Suarez. Oh, baby. Makes his Red Sox debut against Lance McCuller's Jr. Sox reminds one 18 on the money line.

They bounce back after a back to back losses over the weekend. No. I know. You're down on Suarez. I do not have a lot of faith in Suarez and look, I mean, if he bounces back, it'll be a good argument for not caring about spring training numbers, but the last two starters their spring impacted how they pitched gray sucked early was good. They both pitch that way. Okay. All right. We played hard the whole year. We're going to be closing every day. And now Larry birds not walking through that door fans. The Jones and Keith grab bag lie and all his negativity that's in this town sucks grab bag lie. That is good friend, Kelsey grammar, Keith grand time seeing you over the weekend. I'm sure that ping pong ball will turn up somewhere in Jones and a bottle of Zimbogat chilling waiting for you, but yes, you must have been busy. No way. See you at the wedding. Yeah. Kelsey grammar was at the shine batch of parties. I just see Kelsey grammar from Frazier. Oh, nice. He was there and the ping pong ball made its way on how sure we'll find it. It could be anywhere.

It was good. Oh, fun time. Good time. Have I all just really no complaints. It's great. Yeah. Good batch party survived. The voice is still making its way back. Your voice even sounds good. So it's funny because I did kind of notice driving in shot. I forgot. And about Kelsey grammar and everybody at the bachelor party. Well, Shime was also there. Those two nights. Shime shot. Old man, Keith was like, oh, I got one night in me. Shime sounded like he was playing a little hurt this morning. I bet he was banged up. But I didn't make much of it. And then when you came in, I'm like, wait a minute. Yeah. I'm like, you guys sound terribly screaming at each other all weekend. Pretty much. Pretty much. By the way, yeah, it was a good, good time. It's more than just a catchy song. Be careful not to make it too long because one day, Joe, the Keith is going to be the champions of the world. That's beautiful.

If you're looking for some Celtics basketball tonight, Jones, you are in luck. They are at the state farm arena down in Atlanta to take on the hocks where the C's are two and a half point dogs. Well, the hocks are hot as a pistol. No Jason Tatum tonight. No, but Jaylen Brown back in Atlanta though. Jaylen Brown back. Cata is doubtful. So probably note, or for sure, no Tatum, probably no Cata, you do get Jaylen Brown back. The hocks have been hot as a pistol until, until I ran into the Celtics. Yeah. Yeah. That's true. Now the Celtics have a chance to be to be in 740 with the, the tip off time down there. No, and look, I am long term still paying attention to the Jaylen Brown Achilles tendon items. But if he's, if he's right back out there, no harm. They say a man should only listen to show that it's, so why am I listening to these dummies? And they're stupid bits. It's all because I'm grab bad guy here at 130. Jones and keep on weekdays or on that ought to see, I've got to A, D, Z, Y dot com.

Jones and keep, but also it's landing, Nick and Tom. They will have you laughing, so hard you're out of sorts. They'll land outside as that. Sometimes they talk some sports, offer a prize and then roll it and triple the match. Bruins are off tonight, Jones. They've won three straight games, two of which went to overtime or a shootout. They take on Dallas at home tomorrow, just eight games left. They have a nice lead now. They're the top wild card team. There's six points up on the first team that is out, which is Columbus, they just defeated yesterday. So Dallas and then four game road trip, Florida Tampa, Philly, Carolina. Some teams on there, previous years, you've got some murderers for all, but Florida stinks. And then home for Tampa at Columbus, home for Jersey, that's the final eight games of the season. We both got them in the playoffs now. We do. You got them going on a run, well, you got them, you got them flying run defined as they can win a round. Okay.

And get out, get out around one, which I never thought they were going to do. All right. So here's the thing. I was just checking to see if there's any updates on the course and his injury and he corpse update. I haven't seen one. Yeah. So they have Dallas tomorrow. What do you do? Sway corpse. Well, it's how's corpse feeling. The corpse, of course, can go out there and play against Dallas, I think. Should they call it the crease, uh, the morgue, but people aren't there. Yes. Great idea. I agree. That's, that's an absolute. Yes. Definitely. You get in there by the morgue. Um, and then you go sway, Florida, sway Tampa, or do you want sway in there against Dallas and get the corpse out there against Florida? Corpse has got to play against Philly in the back to back. And Sway has to play on Saturday against Tampa. Oh boy. Yeah. So you go swimming one more year in tomorrow and then you go corpse, sway, sway, corpse. I don't know. You have two more back to backs. Yeah. Swimming just played one. Do you think he's going to play off three back to backs? Nope. No guy. He's not going to play it. So Swayman will play Saturday against Tampa, the corpse or whomever will play at Philly.

I want the 11th and the 12th Tampa Columbus in play for swimming. If they need it, they might not, but they might not play that's a good point. And I, I want to rule out Hagen's in there, but I'll, but we'll see. On second thought, I do like to pray because I'm mighty proud of that regular back. Bruce Cassidy fired by the Vegas Golden Knights. You know what? I meant to bring this up when we were talking Bruins earlier. That was stunning. I legit thought it was like an AI, a early April Fool's joke. No. Classic March 31st or March 29th. Well, that's how you got to do it. People are ready. They're ready and looking over. Change the day. That's the ultimate fool on April 1st. They're ready for it. They're ready to go. Uh, he's always replacing him. John Torturella. That's wild. I don't get it. I also saw. He's, he's just a bad coach. Yeah. Never mind if the players thought Bruce Cassidy was too mean to him. You really meet this guy? You bring in this bum. Yeah. No, I didn't really understand this.

I also was like, you know, forgive me. I wasn't, uh, polished up on the Western conference standings. So I was like, oh, are they that bad this year? I look it up. They're third in the Pacific. They're a playoff team. Oh, no, they're, I think they've underachieved this year, but they are, they are making the playoffs. No questions. And they've lost three straight games, but right before you're two weeks from the playoffs. So like, you're done. So what happened? He yelled at somebody. Yeah. What did Torch is going to do? No, no, I'm just saying like what, like what happened? He, he, he, he, he rubbed somebody the wrong way yelled at him. Like what happened? Because it, it's got to be that it can't. It's not the performance. Yeah, it's not, they haven't, I don't know, they haven't overachieved by any means. He's not having a great season, but for a guy who just want to cut a couple of years ago and is on track to make the playoffs to fire him now, something like that happened. Well, one of the players said, I can't take Butchie anymore. He's out. And they're like, oh, good news for you. Torch is in. It's bizarre. You think he gets hired by somebody else's quickest. Yes. He got fired the last time. He might be coaching on the playoffs for all of it. Yeah. Somebody might, somebody might turn around. Somebody should. I mean, somebody. I know who their first round opponent is.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. When you come in home, dad, I don't know when. But we'll do the grab back then. Son, you know, we'll do the grab back then. And as a hung up the phone, it occurred to me. My boy was just like me. My boy did the grab back to. My boy did the grab back to. Yeah. Yeah. My boy did the grab back to. College basketball. We hit on it earlier today. Yet an unbelievable finish in the Yukon win over Duke knocking the blue devils out. You do have two one seeds in the final four. They'll play each other on Saturday, Michigan, who just is blowing doors against one. Their first four games all by a margin of 20 or more. Just destroyed. Yesterday. And I believe scored 90 plus at all four. Yeah. So the Michigan Arizona and then Yukon gets Illinois.

So you get two big 10 teams in there and then Yukon and Arizona. All right. I got Arizona Illinois final. Oh, nice. I will take a Michigan Yukon final. Oh, great. Yeah. All right. There we go. Something's got to begin. It really does. Yeah. No, I'm looking forward to it. That should be pretty good. So Boba Shet was a left the Toronto Blue Jays. There was, I guess some talk on it. They were so close. Yeah. They almost have. Probably not. And so he goes to the New York Bats. He has begun his season one for 14 with eight strikeouts and he was getting booed on Sunday in New York to which he said, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. My headbats have been terrible. No, good for him. So like, at least he's kind of wearing it a little bit. He's scrappy. He's going to say anything like that when he comes home and starts getting booed on Friday. Nope. Now me neither. I do think he will get booed though. Yeah. He's got a turn on you. Well, it also depends like if he sucks, does he hear all the booze down that low or do

they just go right over? Oh, right over his ears. That's true. Yeah. And rises the booze rise. So he might not, he might miss them. But they also, if they, if they sweep the Astros and he still sucks, then he probably won't get booed. Yeah. And then he's going to be losing the combination of like a two and four record and yeah. Exactly. You come home two and four and you don't have any hits and your five foot seven, you're getting booed. Five foot seven. Six. Ooh, okay. We are maybe. We were saying yeah. We were saying yeah. We were saying yeah. We were saying yeah. We were saying. We were saying. I hate to be the one to share this news to you, Jones, but the Connecticut son have been sold and they're going to move to Houston in 2027. So the son is setting. Oh, no. The son has set up Mohican and it's now, they're moving all the way to it. So Houston, you're telling me Houston doesn't have a WNBA team. I was as confused by anybody. I thought the Houston comments, one like all those, I thought they were, I'm glad you brought this up, Jones. The Houston comments have won the most WNBA titles in the history of the league.

They have? They don't exist anymore. Well, they're coming back. That's all that. They got Cleveland Brown situation, but they were actually good. Are they going to be the Houston sons, they're going to be, or they bring in the comments back. Houston's son. Sorry. It's sons. They're going to be the Houston son. Probably the comments. I would. Oh, yeah. Bring back Cheryl Swoops. That'd be good. It would be good. Hello, Dr. Frazier Crane. I'm listening. Do you like grab bags? Of course I do. Kevin Jones are great friends. What's your favorite grab bag? I was just talking to Niles about this the other day. That Italian one really tickles my drums. Are Jones is AJ Brown a Patriot yet? No. No, he's not. No, he's not. All right. If my voice can handle it, two Dork podcasts tonight. Oh, no. I know. It could be tough. You might want to give yourself a day there. No, can't do it. Okay. We keep a schedule. All right. We're like Cal Ripken, Jr.

We never miss a Monday. And so it's going to be episode one. We're talking to that crazy neighbors show. Yes. HBO neighbors. Heard a lot about that late last week. Wild. Yeah, I'll tell you a lot more about it in the podcast tonight. Okay. And then we're going to do episode one of the Daredevil shows back. Season two Daredevil born again. Summer saying Marvel's back. Others are suggesting it never left. But we are going to talk that show. I've heard both just when I'm listening to you talking about it. And I have a personal should I have bought this? Literally should I have bought this? It's a game that we stopped doing. Is it related to time's festival party? No. Okay. All right. Play that one. My bad. All right. It's going. I shouldn't. I shouldn't repeat him. You know what? To make up for that Jones. Let's go to the phone right now. We have Rick and Maine for a live grab bag. Okay. Yes. A live grab bag. Rick. Go ahead, Rick. Go ahead. Come on. What's your name, man? I'm blind.

Melon. Oh, okay, man. What you're going to play for us, man? Oh, man. I think he's going to show you, man. Oh, man. Look at the size of that grab bag, man. Basically, I want to check my out, man. Me too, man. Oh, man. Not too big. Look at his. Can take the mind. Now, man. I don't think we'll ever get that grab bag on the album cover, man. All right. Between Rapunzel and that one, how many more live grab bags can we do? I'm not sure. They may need to be there. It's open. It's open to it still. All right. John Spiner, who the best NBA performer was from last night was a Tyler Hero. 31 points. Was it Gary Trent Jr. 36 points.

He lit it up. Was it Jason Tatum? 32 points and eight assists. Was it Scotty Barnes? He's going to be old stop. 23 points for Barnes with 15 assists. Nice number. Or was it Alperune Segun? 36 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists. I believe this is for the first time since he's come back. Let's make it Tatum. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, man. Grabbing bags. All right. What was the best baseball performer was from yesterday? Was it Old Friend Alex Breggman? Two for four or two dogs? Maybe. Was it Joey Weimer? Three for three with a dog, three runs, batted in. Okay. With it Yondi Diaz. Five for six. Oh, five hit game. Five or six. Four RBI. Two runs. Was it Emerson Handcock? Six shut out innings with nine strikeouts. Or was it Seth Lugo? Six and a third scoreless.

Three punch outs. I'm not mistaken. Those were six no hit innings for Handcock. Maybe. I'm going with Breggman though. Putting the X rated into X. These guys are stoop as Bob Ryan tweeted. All right. Jones people are asking the question has Bob Ryan tweeted. Probably. Yeah. Yeah, I figured. He has. Yeah. Somebody weighed in on the Caleb Williams Iceman situation. He's still. He's still debating this. Yeah. So Rob Schwars Jr. Rob Schwars Jr. He tweeted out. I'll say it. I have no clue who George Gervin is or was in regard to basketball. I'm not the biggest NBA fan. But I've never even heard of him before all of this Iceman nonsense. Not sure why the uproar is in regards to Caleb Williams attending to make a business decision. Blah blah blah. He goes on and on. Okay. So I somehow found that tweet. You didn't tag Bob Ryan or anything.

And I don't know if he follows. Rob Schwars Jr. Rob Schwars Jr. He goes, Hey, exclamation point. Whoever you are. Go your. Effing historical homework before entering a discussion like this. Go it or do it. No, he said go your. I think you fired up. Okay. I guess it's. He's tapping that out quick. He was real mad. Yeah. Yeah. Anything else? Yeah. Mr. Pitbull. Oh, which is looks a dog of an avatar. Right. Mr. Pitbull has the potential to be a really good name. It's like Mr. Pit from Seinfeld, but a pitbull. That's Mr. Pitbull of seven. My wife says this never happened. Does anyone else remember when milk came in glass bottles and the milkman would deliver it to your doorstep before sunrise? You'd leave the empties out for him to pick up. Make a milkman joke, Bob. Go for it. Bob said, pay us a visit next Friday morning. Oh. Is he suggesting that guy has the milkman? I don't think he's the milkman. I don't know. I thought he's mad about the George Gervin slander.

Bob is going to work a little blue with the milkman joke. He's so hot. He was hot about it. Yeah. It's time for Jones and Keefs. Random. Brandon Phillips. Eduardo Munoz. Curtis Blascanic. Baseball player of the day. All right. We're going with a former big leager who was a left handed pitcher, but you might find him batting righty. Okay. He was a one-time all-star. He played for several teams across a 13-year big league career. Okay. Giants Padre's Rocky's Cubs met Snakes Reds, the nationally guy if there ever was one. All right. He was an all-star with the Giants in 1997. Oh. His first pitch was in 1995, and he hung up the spikes after the 2008 season. Broke him with the Giants. He did. Okay. He led the league and walks one year with an even 100. I'm sorry. He said he's a starter or a reliever? Starter. Starter. Giants.

Starter. He went 19 and five, the 318 ERA in 97, and was honored by making the all-star team. Okay. And that's kind of mostly all I could say about him. He, uh, $22.4 million in his bank account. And so it's not leave on trade. It's not leave on Hernandez, but I'm thinking it's like, it's not leave on Hernandez because this guy's a lefty and leave on Hernandez. It was famously a righty. This is a lefty. Yeah. I guess I missed that note earlier today. Yep. That was the first thing I said. Led the league and wild pitches in 99. Okay. He's going to walk on the wild side. He's going to rain that in. Yep. For sure. 101 career wins to 93 losses. Okay. Not bad. Sounds very forgettable. No, not bad. 471 ERA. You did. Text line has or Twitch has it. Twitch has it. Yep. I'm cheating and looking. Sean Estes. He got it. I just shook his head. I was not. It's like, come on anytime soon.

Sean Estes. I was afraid we had him before. I can definitively say we have not. Text line did get in there a couple of different times. It's job. Sean Estes fans. I do not see an arcane text yet. Okay. That doesn't rule out that he might be texting in. But there you go. Okay. That is your random all-player. Each and every day in the grab back here on Jones and Keith. Sean Estes. Congratulations. We will get to the Clip Dejore. And we'll check in with WEEI afternoons. See what they have coming up next. All right. Back here on Jones and Keith WEEI. It's time now, Jones, for our Clip Dejore. Are you ready for that? Sounds fantastic. What's the Clip Dejore again? I'm so glad you asked. It is the Clip of the day. And I want to thank the many, many people that reached out to us over the weekend as Padres Closer and one of Andy Hart's favorite players, Mason Miller, has stolen our intro song as his entrance music. It is pretty sweet. But we started the show talking about that. Sorry, we're a little late this morning. I was writing our cease and desist to Mason Miller. I was gonna say that sounds like it's either 10 o'clock in WEEI or the Padres or up three runs or less in the ninth.

I don't know if I should be insulted or not insulted. Should I be honored that he's using this invitation as the greatest source of flattery? Is that the saying? I think that's exactly the saying. And no, it's a song that should be a Closer's walk out. But he didn't know the tip of the cap to us at all. No, it'd be cool if Peyton Toley. Peyton Toley. When he goes to Bullpen, which I've been stumping for. I don't think he wants to do that. Best friend of the show, Peyton Toley. Yeah. That'd be cool if he used it. Yeah. Mason Miller, I don't know what we're gonna do with that all the way across the country. Did get a few tweets and a few texts and a few Instagram comments about it over the weekend. Which I appreciate. So I did, I have seen the Mason Miller entrance. Shout out to everyone who sent that along. You know what? I do have Odyssey lawyers have been alerted. And the C.C. Decisors in the Valley. I have some constructive criticism for Mason Miller. Oh, I don't think he leaves the bullpen at the right time. He's like still burst out it. He's like in shallow left by the time they say, are you ready? You need to go through the door. And are you ready? That's when you hit it.

And then John Rocker, that thing all the way to the mount. Also the narrator for my taste or like the PA guy was too much talking. Yeah. Shut up. Yeah. Shut up. Yeah. That's great. Let, let, let Corn do their job. Let it breathe. Yes. Exactly. There's been some, I would add it to the list though. Because the song, it's an obvious song. And nobody has used it. He's using it. It's very good. Johann Doran has a wild entrance. Does he? The, yes. He was doing it with the twins. And they gave it to the Phillies. Oh. And he does it with the Phillies. And it was wild. You saw the Edwin DS. Yeah. And it's now live with a live trumpet. I like that too. That, that one, that one is very good. Yeah. But he's, the reunification of, Mario Rivera, as much as we couldn't stand the guy, did have a good one too, and they might win our bracket. Vitala Marga, you know. You know you know, Mario Rivera's voting over and over and over again. And the Jones and Keith 1990 slash early 2000s. Heavy Metal New Metal Grunge, alternative pop, punk, punk, rock, rock bands, bracket. Championship will be decided. Tomorrow will announce the winner here on Jones and Keith.

Hard shaking his head. I don't know why he does that. I'm good. So, is this going to be fit Seas bold prediction bold prediction for the season, was that the Red Sox will trade for Mason Miller. So is this going to be even more of an issue when he tries to come to Fenway Park and use the same entrance music and people are confused, Jones and Keith. That's true. Miller. I think we could work it out and this maybe something we'll all lean on the lawyers for, but maybe if we could be like a part of the first one. Oh, you come out with him? Yeah. We all had to come out on the field together at the same time. You'd be like Paul Bearer leading Undertaker? Yeah. That'd be kind of sick. That's not bad. That's pretty good. You can tell him when you want him to come out. Yeah. Hold, hold, hold, hold, now. We could be like Mac and Charlie when they were out there on the ice. One of us could have the duster. I like it. Mullets. We could kind of fire up the crowd. It would be good. So I think we could work. It was kind of off Mason Miller. I'm with you, Jones. No, I'm with you. I want Peyton Tolley to just be the closer when the inevitable slump from Chapman comes. Just go to Tolley. Oh, geez.

Wow. Oh, it is inevitable. What a downer. Chapman's fault. No, that's true. He actually did his job on Friday. If you're down on Weissert, I would get it, but Chapman. The whole team. Derbin. Derbinator. I'm done with Derbinator. Three games in. You'll lost your nickname. If you can't get a hit in a whole series, you lose your stupid nickname. There's never his nickname. Shortking's turning out. Yeah, a little bit. A little bit. We're allowed to. That's what we do. We're going to start with the Celtics though. Jason Tatum back. 30 plus points, baby. Yeah. Look pretty great. And thankfully, Jalen Brown is off the injury port today because I was starting to 15. I kind of argued on Friday. He's like, I'm worried about this JB. I was like, load management. Then yesterday, I was like, oh, two games in a row. But I think they just wanted to play in his home city. So JB back. But we'll start with the Celtics. How you feeling about that? Which Achilles are you most concerned with and all that? Also, did you see some of those numbers that forget the Tatum numbers, about 30 points, five rebounds, no turnovers? See who else was high on that list? I'm guessing, by the way, you're asking it's Jalen Brown. Which, yeah. Sun.

I'm going to be honest. My hand actually stunned the president of the Jalen Brown Fangle, like zero turnovers. Like what? In a game, huh? Is it not a practice? Pretty good. Yeah. All right. So Celtics get to the Red Sox. Robert Kraft. And the ADS, I hate. I'm the only one on the planet who hates it. Wow. About the texture is hated too. It sucks. I can tell you, I like it. I hate it. I like it. Did not go well for the Red Sox. And when you get arrogant in your wrong Roman Anthony, well, that's a problem, because he was clearly arrogant. More of this on the phone. He's six months angry. Seven, seven, nine, seven, ninety three, seven, stay for his James Hagen's take too. He was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he had heart, baby, person for James Hagen's in Providence, spending quite a bit to bark as I've heard. And he's got a Hagen's take for you as well with his own eyes that he observed there. We are back tomorrow, Tier Tuesday, Tommy Tuesday live from Arizona at the owner's meetings and a key for madness. It all starts at 10 here on Jones and Keith. Thank you guys, that was fun.
