And the best actor for 2026 goes to Michael B. Jordan takes home best actor of the year 2026. The Oscar Awards is it's a wrap. I'm shocked. I really thought that Timothy Mick, what's his name? Uh, Charla Met was gonna win. Of course, I was going for Michael B. Jordan, but I really didn't think the Oscars were going to give Michael B. Jordan. A shot. This is his first time nominee. He's still young. Like, you know what, Denzel Washington had to go through. You know what? We'll spend time to go through. This is huge. I think it was totally deserved. I'm going to give you a quick wrap up about what happened at the Academy Awards, but the shocker of the night is Michael B. Jordan winning best actor of the year at the Academy Awards. All right. Here is the other nominees who he was up against. I remember even seeing Mr. Wonderful on the red carpet before saying, oh, I'm going to give a, I bet $1,000 on Kalshi

that Timothy Charla met. Charla Met is going to win, even our pronounces last name. And for those of you who don't know, there was a lot of backlash for Timothy. He was the one that said nobody goes to the ballet or the opera anymore. We played that for you guys last week. I'm not even an opera or a ballet guy. And even I dragged them for saying something so ridiculous. I mean, the origins of music is the opera. But something very important to know here, a lot of people think because of the backlash that he received is the reasons why he didn't win. And that's the same reason why Mr. Wonderful put that bet on him is because the voting had already been cast and done and sealed before he made that comment. So a lot of people right now think that is why he didn't win. And that is not the case at all. That's another reason for making this video for you guys. All right. So when people are telling you about a water cooler, yeah, he ruined it for himself. The voting was already in. All right. One of the other things, too, that I want to highlight. Let's get these nominees off of here and really just highlight Michael B. Jordan. I cannot show you guys the clips of it. Obviously, I'll get flagged on YouTube.

But I have a still image here. But why I would like to read this for you is as of the 2026 Oscars, six black male actors have won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a leading role. First one, Sydney Pazie, second one, Denzel Washington, third one, Jamie Foxx, fourth, fourth, Whitaker, fifth, Will Smith, and now Michael B. Jordan. The Oscars started in 1929. But the first black actor to win was Sydney Pazie. And that didn't happen until 1964. There was a 38 year gap before the next winner, Denzel Washington, in 2002. Just wanted to show you guys how huge this is. Only six black men have won this. I would love to play the clip for you. But one of the things that Michael B. Jordan said that was amazing other than the fact they're shutting out his mom because you don't know me. I would shout out my mom first thing too. But when he listed the black males that came before him giving them their props,

letting them know that he would not be on this stage without them, he did not forget Queen Halle Berry. He said, I want to shout out Sydney Pazie, then he said Denzel Washington, and then he said, Halle Berry before he said, Jamie Foxx. And of course, in first Whitaker, Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan. And of course, you guys know the alleged slap. That was the kind of shadow over Will Smith. That's why when you think best male actor, you don't think Will Smith. And he ruined that for himself. But we won't even get into that. Shout out to Michael B. Jordan. Very, very, very, very well deserved. You know, you're in a category with somebody like Leonardo DiCaprio. And now I know he wasn't really in contention for it. But still, that's great. Also, Ethan Hawk to not an actor that you just can just, it's not a walk in the park actor. This was a strong category, a strong year. And he pulled it off. And I'm sure most of you by now have seen sinners. And yes, it was a great movie. And we're going to talk

about Ryan Cooler. And I'm also going to talk about Tiana Taylor. Now, whatever you say about the movie, it wasn't your type of movie. Or if you did love it or whatever, you cannot take anything away from the brilliance of Michael B. Jordan playing twin brothers. I have spoken to a few people that, yes, they heard about him acting as a twin brothers. But a few people have told me they didn't know about that before. And it took them five or ten minutes before they realized that, hold on, whatever. This is like two people in this, this is Michael B. Jordan playing brothers. It was so well done. Shout out to Ryan Cooler also to just how it was directed and how it was shot. It was like not your normal copy pace where you know it was fake. It was so well done. The acting was so well done. A lot of people didn't realize, you know, right, right away, first scene that was Michael B. Jordan playing two very different characters in stack and smoke if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, shout out to Michael B. Jordan. This

was a great win. A couple of honorable mentions here. Ryan Cooler. Shout out to Ryan Cooler. Now, Ryan Cooler did not win Best Director. And sinners did not win Best Picture. We'll talk about Best Picture because that is Tiana Taylor's movie. One battle after another. You could tell he had been seen in a movie, but I'm definitely going to catch it. One battle after another, one Best Picture. But Ryan Cooler, I would have loved to have seen him win Best Director, but original screenplay is also a very, very good category. Also to not a lot of black men or women have one Best Director. I would have loved to see the two of them walk away. But at least Ryan Cooler was handed an Academy Award. And now he could say Academy Award winner, Ryan Cooler. So shout out to Ryan Cooler for that. And also to you know, you know, I'm not coming, I'm coming here without highlighting the Queen herself. Look at how amazing Tiana Taylor looked

at the Oscars. Give a little close up the train. Everything like she was, you know, she was doing, you know, what Tiana Taylor does. Classy. I thought it was very, very nice. I liked the dress. You really get to see it more here. And there was a clip that's going a little bit of viral right now with Tiana Taylor. And this is Tiana Taylor sitting next to Leonardo DiCaprio. And they're playing crazy in love. And Tiana Taylor is dancing. I think this is probably during the break. It says during the break dancing to crazy in love. But if you look, if you really watch it, like it's more kind of like she's not kind of like manifesting like her, you know, stay calm or whatever. No, I don't know if this was before her category or after her category. And some people will say, you know, she really wasn't coming there expecting to win. I don't believe that. You go to an award show, hoping to win. Even if you think you might, even if you think it's a stretch, come on, man, you get the hype, you get this, you get whatever. Even if it's not,

you know, running up to it, if there's not big talk about it, you still like, you never know what it happened. So if I'm not mistaken, this is Tiana Taylor, kind of just manifesting like, all right, girl, you got this crazy in love and just dancing to Jay-Z and Beyonce. That is it for the winners overall show. I was 10 minutes late to it. I don't know, like, I got to start checking on times. Like even the all-star game, I was late to seeing. And now the Oscars playing from 7 to 10 30. What a weird time. Even the fact that they played best picture, it came on at 10 30. I'm like, hold on, is that the biggest award of the night? Because there's only 10 30. These time things are very, very weird. Anyways, I miss Conan O'Brien's opening monologue, but I already could tell that it wasn't anything great because I would have seen clips online. So I don't think there was really anything crazy. There was even one time where he came back from break and he was like, hey, we already wrapped one person up and the other person was this stay tuned for a blockbuster night. He was literally just being like, look, I'm doing my best here,

you know, wasn't super exciting. I caught the joke about YouTube where he was saying, hey, the Oscars are going to be exclusively on YouTube. If I'm a mistake in this year or next year or shortly, then he interrupted his own self by playing a YouTube commercial, the ad commercials, and you could skip. And it was a horrible commercial. So look, I think he did the best with what he had. It's not like how it used to be. And, you know, I would say overall that maybe give him like a seven or 10, seven on 10. And I let Conan O'Brien. He did make a joke about Donald Trump and Epstein saying that there was no British actors. I think for the first time, don't quote me on this. Maybe the first time in Oscar issue, but there's no British male or female actor in the best category. But he said, well, Britain still did something like with, they still arrest people that are in the Epstein files. Something alluding to the fact of the US is not arresting people in the United

States or the Epstein files, but Britain is. Sorry, I totally ruined the joke, I know. But that was the one kind of like little, you know, dag, dagger at Donald Trump. But for the most part, everybody kind of stayed on script, even what's his name there who, who goes after Trump all the time. Oh my gosh, Jimmy, come on. I didn't even have to Google it. It just came to me. Jimmy, yeah, shout to Jimmy. He took a little, a little stab at Trump a little bit. But nothing overly political, nothing really about the war that I heard, whether it be the Iran war or just anything in protest going on. You don't hear people talking too much about Ukraine and Russia that much anymore. But overall, the tone was not overly political. So that is your breakdown. Let me know what you guys thought about the Oscar Awards in the comment below. Are you excited that it's going to be on YouTube in the next like a year or so? I don't know how I feel about that. But comment below and let me know and do not forget to keep it locked to the turnout allowed
