0:00When you were a broke college student, what was your like baller on a budget hack, especially if you were on something like spring break? What'd you do that was like maybe not so classy, but got the job done. 601-995-1017, we're asking, because some spring breakers are stuffing their backpacks and beach bags with foods from buffets. So they could pay once and then eat the whole time they're on spring break for free. Ew, that's so cool. Isn't it? Gross. Isn't it nasty? Restaurant owners in Texas, Arizona, California, and Florida say some spring breakers fill up before paying their bills so they can cheaply eat for several days and does some buffets or have to crack down on this. You could go to Walmart, get some bread, get some peanut butter, get some jetlake. That's what used to happen. That's whatever I was in college. And my friends would take the big caravan down to South Padre Island. They would all pile into one cheap hotel room
1:00and they would stock up on PB&J's and beer. And that was it. And like that's how they did it cheaply. Like what are we doing going to a buffet and shoving like mac and cheese into your back? Like ew, ew. 601-995-1017, what did you do that's kind of like this? So how many people were in one hotel room? What's the most amount of people in one hotel room you've ever experienced? I never experienced. I was always too nervous to go on the big chaotic spring breaks. But the way that I finally got to have my college spring break because I could afford to do it this way was my college roommate. Her grandparents would snow bird in Hawaii. Oh my gosh. So all I had to do was pay for my airfare and then I got to stay with her grandparents, her grandma and papap. Wonderful. And they paid for everything. Yeah, that is a broke college kid hat. Just had the roommates, grandparents pay for everything. Exactly. 601-995-1017.
2:02If you've ever like kind of did a baller on a budget type trip. I remember it's over 10 years ago now. My buddy got married and I was the best man. And I was not a very good best man. I feel like I owe him another bachelor party to be honest because I was obviously in charge of planning everything as the best man. And I'm not a good trip planner. Like I booked a hotel room. It was like 20 minutes away from where there was anything to do. We went to Pittsburgh. Yeah, we went to Pittsburgh. And I booked a hotel. You could handle that. No, I couldn't. I did a bad job. I feel like you could have ended the sentence and say I made a bad planner. It's not a trip plan that you like, I've never seen someone worse at looking at any type of plan. Even if it's just like a plan to get your oil change. Yeah. Yes, exactly. 6-0-1, 995, 101-7. I booked two hotel rooms. There were like six of us.
3:03It was tight quarters for a bunch of grown dudes. Not a bachelor party weekend. Not best man, bad man.
