Last year Diamond Fields (TSX.VDFR) announced it acquired Moydow Holdings, which has a portfolio of exploration and development projects across Africa, including the highly prospective Labola gold project in Burkina Faso.
In May Diamond Fields announced a drilling program for Labola. Diamond Fields joins other resource companies in the country, which has seen a mining renaissance due to regulatory changes.
