Houston Cougars Land Monster Frontcourt

0:00On April 24th, Houston Cougars are building a monster front court for the 2026 27 season. They just landed 6 foot 10 center, Jafar Silimana from Utah Valley Academy High School. Coach Kelvin Samson announced the commitment on April 22nd and he's eyeing a red shirt year to develop the big man from Mali. The Cougars already stacked up with transfers like senior Del Recco Gillespie and junior Braden East, plus starter, Joseph Tuggler. Don't forget Adafon Diane, the number one freshman center from the class of 2026 who's also joining the squad. Silimana calls Houston the best college program in the country, straight dream school vibes. He got hooked after watching the beat atop 16 team, 77 to 66 on the road. Both he and Diane hail from West Africa with Diane from Guinea and they've been tights in spacing off this season.
