There's some chatter that the price tag is going down for AJ Brown

on the trade market. And the Raiders and the Titans are the big spenders on day number one of the NFL's legal tampering period is this actually good? Did Tennessee lose Vegas improved? They spent a lot of money but are they measurably better today than they were yesterday? We'll take a look at that right now. Here it is, hour number four. You can't have that. A lot of moving parts here will continue for the next couple of days. And then we will long for these days. amazing these days are. When things get a little slow, a little slow. Now, one of the stories that I got to kick out of is out of Baltimore. And the Ravens kicked off the silly season by acquiring Max Crosby from under the nose of Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys. So Crosby goes to Baltimore from the Raiders to kick off the silly season. And so why are a group

of Raven backers upset with their former coach of all things. Say why? Yes. If you didn't see this, perhaps not the natives are restless and they're upset with New York Giants coach and former Baltimore coach, John Harbaugh. What did Harbaugh do? Well, John Harbaugh decided I want a bunch of guys that played for the Ravens on the Giants. So I'm going to sign them. And a very likely move was Isaiah likely. Well, if I'm not mistaken, trashed Baltimore last season on social media and was rewarded with the riches of Solomon as he takes his talents to New Jersey to play for the Giants. The former Raven punter Jordan Stout heading also to the Giants and safety are Darius Washington. Those three players, all part of the Ravens in recent years and all of them now going to the Giants. So some Ram Bunches. I'll use the word

Ram Bunches. Ravens aficionato's accusing Harbaugh, John, John Harbaugh of stealing players from the Ravens is old team there, people complaining up in arms. So that's a good jumping off point. Let us discuss the question. Some Raven fans, a group of them upset grumbling. They've got the rumbly tumbling. They're grumbling over John Harbaugh, signing away three former players from Baltimore to go join the Giants. So how does that land on your end? How does that land on your end? So I'm going to go here. I've got oval office blender and hogee. And we will combine all of these things together. And we are going to make a smorgasborg of just amazing gobbagool. Then we'll have a side of baba ganoush. And then we'll have a chicken burrito, a shredded chicken burrito. We'll add that on top. So to lead off here, this is textbook NFL tribalism from the bottom of the deck.

It's tribalism. And it kind of tastes in this case like for some reason it tastes like crab fries. I don't know why. And then unearned entitlement. Now, I understand that fan is a short version of fanatic. I get it. I understand that. I still find it hilarious that there are some fan boys with the Baltimore crowd that are incensed. How could you do this? It's blasphemy. We like you, John Harbaugh. Yeah. Like John Harbaugh is looting the vault on his way out the door. It's like I'm going to take everything that is not bolted down and I'm going to take nonsense. Cool your jets. Or in this case, your giants calm down. Calm down, Shakespeare. This is not a tragedy. This is not a tragedy. Like you lost a tight end. That's the only guy that will likely come back to bite you in the took us. It's like the new president. When you change presidents every four or eight years, the new president comes in. And the presidential administration, they move on

into the oval office. And they're hiring people. They're not hiring strangers. They're hiring partisans. They're hiring loyalists. They're not handing the nuclear code to somebody from a temp agency. That's not happening. They're bringing in people that are loyal to the cause. And that's it. And so you have to set the thermostat of the locker room. What better way to do that, to bake in the culture, then have it set just how you like it. So you bring some people in. Otherwise, it's all going to collapse like a cheap souffle. And you don't want that. You don't want that. And John Harball is not stealing anything. He's just making sure that the lighting and the air conditioning is everything's fine. Everything's good. And he wants to have that new world order, the new world order for the giants. And if you didn't want John Harbide, this is this bowl. Take nobody else has this take. Hot take alert. Hot take alert. If you didn't want John Harbide to take players, you should have either signed all of your players or you should not have handed

him a Tiffany's box with a designer pink slip saying, get out of here. You have been excommunicated. You have been excommunicated from the church of the Raven. We no longer need your services. Now, furthermore, we go to Philadelphia, the obligatory mal or monologue on the life and times of AJ Brown was AJ Brown, was AJ Brown traded on day one of the silly season, the legal tampering period. No, he was not. He was not trading the life and times of AJ Brown. Until he's traded, we're going to continue to yap about this. And so one day, one day into the NFL silly season and radio silence, the VU meter meter is not moving at all. There's no movement. It's limp. And now there is some chatter coming out of the Delaware Valley. I'm sure Jonathan and Delaware

and our guy fried daddy, they've heard about this, but the chatter is the Eagles are considering lowering, lowering AJ Brown's trade price. And they'd been wanting multiple first round traffic. So supposedly they're going to offer, they say, well, give us less, well, less is more, we'll make it happen. So question, how does this latest trade wrinkle in the AJ Brown story, where the story is that Philly is considering taking less, how does that strike you? So this is pure uncut Econ 101. Econ 101. Supply and demand. Now the argument the Eagles were making was, well, listen, the supply is short and the demand should be through. Well, we've had musical chairs. The Colts kept their guy, Pierce. Mike Evans is gone. He left the Buccaneers. I

know Mikey, the insomniac is still trying to deal with that. He's going through these stages of grieving. But Mike Evans is off to Tampa. We had the Buffalo Bills or off to San Francisco, rather Mike Evans, but the Buffalo Bills made their move for DJ, DJ Moore. And there've been some other wide receivers that have bounced around the Raiders signed the Vikings fourth receiver to a big money contract and all that stuff. And so the demand, some seats have been filled. So is there the demand? Is the demand still there? Yeah. So Walmart, the way I understand Walmart, the business model Walmart, when they have a blender that nobody wants, right, sitting around there, no one's buying the blender, the people that run Walmart don't just say, okay, well, nobody wants the blender. It's not selling. I guess we just keep it there and maybe somebody eventually will buy it. No, no, no, no, no, no. They dropped the price. They sell it. They there's a price point that any item will sell. You just have to lower the price. That's it. And the Eagles blender, AKA, AJ Brown, was not shipped away, not yet anywhere. So do you adjust

the price? No one's biting. No, no one's biting. And you've got teams out there. The Patriots, they need a big time move on offense. They don't have that. They haven't made that big time move yet. The Buffalo Bills, they got DJ Moore. You know, he's a falling star. Get AJ Brown. And you got a DJ and AJ and then just have a bunch of people with initials and Kansas City. They made their move for Kenneth Walker. If I'm the chiefs though, I go all in. I got to milk this thing with my homes. I got to get back into the playoffs and go in a run and that whole thing. So there's three AFC teams right there. And if you want another AFC team, the chargers throw them out there. And all those teams should be on the prowl for AJ Brown and toss in the fact it Philadelphia of all the teams in the NFL. The one that got gutted like a fish was the Philadelphia Eagles on day number one of the silly season there. Just gutted like a fish. You caught off the

Jersey shore. The Eagles roster. They lost a bunch of people. So they knew that a couple of those guys were going to leave. I don't think they thought all of them were going to leave. And so they need some replacements to fill out the roster. And the Eagles run the other thing about this is they run an archaic offense in Philadelphia. The forward pass is lower on the totem pole than the guy in the link that exchanges the urinal cakes. That is more important to have fresh urinal cakes than the forward pass and fill it off. So what can Brown do for you? Brown can get you some some picks in return. And I'm not a big pick guy. But the Eagles, the model is certain guys got paid. We got to fill out the roster. It's draft. And then a couple of guys don't make it or they do make it either way. You get rid of them. And then you draft some other dudes and bring them in there. And Brown also from all accounts does not want to be there. The guy was literally reading books on

the bench during games because he didn't want to be there. He's making it all about him and all this stuff. And so there's some tension. You get rid of that. Make things easier for everyone involved. And let him be somebody else's problem. And it's not like I think Philadelphia. I don't think they're going to suffer. I don't think Philadelphia is going to suffer. They'll just run the ball 60 times a game if they have to. And Sireani can enjoy some silence. One of the great front runners of our time Nick Sireani. Now last thing. So we have a day one wide angle view 30,000 feet in this guy, 30,000 feet in this guy day number one. And the big big spenders here on day one are two teams that are the laughing stock of pro football. The Raiders and the Tennessee Titans. The Raiders spent over. What was he? The total amount. I've got I've got to hear some of my notes. It was it was like 300 million or something like that. The Titans spent 270 million in contracts in free agency

just behind the Raiders who were at the very top. So the question for the class is this. Here's the question. The Raiders and the Titans are the biggest spenders. They had the most money and they spent the most money on day one of the legal tampering period in the NFL. So is this actually good? Did they improve their team? Dramatic. Is this a dramatic leap frog situation for the Raiders and the Titans? So on that question, I am giving this some side eye. I'm giving this a little side eye and here's why Tennessee and Vegas they changed names. I had to change name. We know that. They changed names. The people that are acting like, oh man, they won the day they get the parade because they won day number one of the legal tampering period. They won a championship stop. There's no need to pop champagne. You signed the most players because you had the most money to sign players. And I'm looking at these names here.

And I'm reading these names and I'm going, well, I don't know who that is. What? How do you pronounce that guy? I don't know. I've never heard of that guy. That guy's in the NFL. You kidding me? That guy's in the NFL. And like, what are we celebrating here? I don't get it. They followed what they did is the Titans and the Raiders followed the Malar diet plan when I was at my fattest back in the day and it's quantity over quality, quantity over quality and just shove everything on the plate. Just put everything on the plate and hope that some of it tastes good. It's the NFL's version of going to a dying mall. You know, every town's got that mall that used to be booming. And it's sad. It's like an indoor mall and it's got like two stores left and everything's boarded up and it's depressing. And then you go to that one of the two stores there and you buy something off the clearance rack at that store. It's about to go out of business to press the dying mall. That's essentially what this is. If you're good, really good, you don't reach

free agency. You don't. There are checks and balances in the NFL to keep their truly great players from reaching free agency. Now every once in a while, someone will slip through the cracks. It does happen. Tennessee and Vegas had money to burn. Burn, baby burn and they burned. So what did they get for their money? They bought the bod, not that bod. Bunch of dudes, bod, bunch of dudes. That's what they got. Not stars. I don't see any real difference makers in here. Dudes. Bunch of dudes, bod. They got the bod. Bunch of dudes. This roster. If you look at, I know it's focusing on the the Raiders here. If you look at the Raiders editions so far and you said it's a hoagie, it wouldn't be a deli fresh pastrami. Wouldn't be that wouldn't be the corn

beef. Wouldn't even be thin cut turkey with pepper. Wouldn't be that. It would be my favorite sandwich, the fluffer nutter. That's what it would be. Peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. There's a lot of fluff. I see a lot of fluff names that sound exciting. You get all excited about that and you realize it's incomplete protein. Peanut butter is incomplete protein. And I don't even know those are real, real marshmallows. They might not be the Raiders. One of their big moves. They grabbed the, I believe the fourth receiver, Jalen nailer from the Minnesota football team. That's excited. That's a splash move. You got the Vikings fourth receiver. The Tennessee Titans. They outdid the Raiders. They rated the jets and the giants. Hello, because the coach is there. Robert Salas, the head coach and Brian Dayball is the offensive guru with the jets and giants. So in order to restock the Tennessee Titans roster, they went and got jets and giants. Players like they were the

dynasty, the Patriots dynasty and they had a bunch of players that were great players and all that stuff. I see a lot of damaged products. There's a lot of roster spam. And this is where low information fans go, we, we, we signed a player. And it's like that old bit where if you went out and back when we had interns, we don't have an update person. But if we had a staff that had a bunch of people, I did this back years ago. We'd send guys out on the street, man on the street interviews and say, do you know who this person is? And we'd have like three real names and three fake names. And inevitably people would always say, oh, I know who that is. I know who that is. Back in the day. Back in the day. And because you said, well, we got somebody. This is exciting. I'm fired up. NFL free agency. Well, I like talking about it. I'm excited. I don't even know who most of these people are. It's the sports version of jingling keys. Right? You ever done that? You've got the key there. I mean, I see if I can pull this off here. I want to stick here.

Right? You do that in front of a toddler. Their mind is blown, right? They are fricking blow. Oh, my God. Look at the key. That's NFL free agency. Look at the key. Oh, my God. Look at the key. It's so exciting. Anyway, it is the Ben Mallor Show. Does that mean I'm now care at top? I'm not doing prop comedy on radio. That's going to be like your worst gig. You're doing prop comedy on radio. Fergdog says, instead of taking calls, can you jingle your keys some more? Please. Guaranteed, we're going to get higher ratings. Is that true? Do you think the ratings will go up here? Yes. More jingling of the keys. Jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle, the cowbells. You like that? Yeah. Yeah. That's great. Who else? Do you think cow herd does this? Hell no. You think Dan Patrick is going to do this? Hell no. You got to go to the overnight show. We are jingling away. Jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle. All night long. All morning. Oh, let's say hello to blind Scott. Hi, blind Scott. Jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle. You don't realize people laughing at you in the fanways in Boston. That's cold. You jingle your keys when you're in the send way to attract other men. It's a real thing, you know what I mean?

Is this true? I'm not attracted to this true. No, people at Boston ever know. No, but when you're when you're on radio, though, it means it means something different. I thought when you're an airport bathroom, if you put your foot over, remember that politician years ago, that means something like that, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm saving you here, though, but I just saved you like your bathroom. Yeah, you saved me. I'm so concerned. I'm married. I'm very concerned about that. Because I had to show the testicles. That was out of context, audio. AI. What? Are you here? Am I still on the air? No. It's like the leprechaun coming on to ruin the show in a sec. Oh, hold on a sec. Mike the leprechaun. Are you planning on coming on to ruin the show? Mike the leprechaun. I'm planning to come on today and tomorrow and every other day. Yeah. All right. Blind Scott said he's planning on coming on the show. Mike, let me let you you have absolutely nothing to alcoholics. You should seek help. Mike, you're an alcoholic. You should seek help. You have nothing to say. You come on it. Well, it's not very nice. That's not very nice, boys. Show is it shows you and it's ruining your show. He's paying 15 grand to fly you out

and he's paying 15 grand. But you feel like you're ruining the show, Mike. Do you think that you're a net negative for the show? I'm very positive and for starters, blind Scott has never met me. He doesn't even know if I drink exactly. Mike, all I know and I met Mike the leprechaun. I met both you guys. Okay. I met both you guys. Mike the leprechaun almost got me fired. He showed up 12 hours before he was supposed to be here. And I'm the only little rena hasn't met Mike the leprechaun. Who wasn't here that night? He didn't meet you. I met you. Who's your friend, Mike the leprechaun? It's true. There's a big there's a big parade on Sunday here in Boston and um, blind Scott can tell you the type of all Irish people. All right. Sky anything else blinds guy. Dude, they call that plate. That's called the bloodbath. The Irish parade. You know, you're ripping the, what do you do? You're very, you hate everything. Is there anything you like? Dude, Mike the leprechaun is going to get the crap kicked out. I met that parade. He's so queer.

No, no, no, stop. Thank you, Scott. All right. That Mike the leprechaun. I don't know. I'm very angry. I don't know why. Now tell me, okay, I know. Anyway, I have lots of haters and I'm out for the optimum. You said 30 seconds a minute and a minute and a half. I'm going to talk with Mike from the I know. That's the way that's way too much time. You know, you do not understand. The octagon is rat a tat tat. It's quick. It's, it'll be over before you know it. It'll be over. I know. Yeah, don't be stealing Lucky Tony's material here. I'm not. I have, I have lots of material. I'm concerned what Lucky Tony did. Other people are going to start doing it. We don't want that. That would ruin the integrity. It's like the slam dunk. We're going to have to bot band it. I didn't even hear that. That was the second hour. All right. Lucky Tony, do you have any advice to Mike the leprechaun? Edog says hello. He called in earlier from Long Island. He thinks you might be

attracted to him. Hello. Yeah. Lucky. You're on the air. Lucky Tony. Hello. Yes. All right. Your phone is. What was that? What is going on? This is all right. Mike the leprechaun. I'm sorry there. Wait. I was I was going to have Lucky Tony give you advice, but his phone is not work. Mike from New Hampshire will give me advice. All right. Let's see his Mike New Hampshire there. No, he's not there. All right. Tony's your phone working now. Lucky Tony. Hey, I heard you were in a book. Is that true? Yes. Yes. I am. Actually, I did on the podcast on Friday. My buddy Robbie wrote a big baseball book and I am quoted in the book. How cool is that? What's the name of the book? I don't even remember the name of the book. I'm sorry. I don't remember. Great friend. Nice plug. It was a good promotion. No, it's sacred grounds.

This is the name of the book. It's called sacred grounds. Are you sure? Yes, I am. And they interviewed me a long time ago. My friend Robbie and I forgot about it. And then the book came out and it's all about baseball stadiums. It's really cool. It's got you paid me $500,000. All endorse a game. I clearly edited by Jake Warner, that weasel Jake Warner who doesn't work here anymore hasn't worked here for 10 years. That weasel producer Jake stay awake with Jake. Yeah, it's called sacred grass. Are you going to buy the book, Tony? I just wanted to give it a plug just like all these poor stars. All right. Thank you. There's nobody supports the adult industry more than Lucky Tony. The reason he's working right now is to pay for some only fans model or I think he likes more old school porn. I don't think he's in the only fans, you know. Hey, whatever floats your boat. I guess so. Well, speaking of that topic, has anyone done a wellness check on our colleague Rob Parker? Has anyone done a wellness check? Turns out the Atlanta Hawks, that magic city night where they're going to honor the Newty Bar,

the ballet there. Well, turns out not going to happen. You don't say. I just did say. There's some people complaining about that. And now the NBA has announced that they stepped in big brother. Wow. And they canceled a night of tribute to the ballet. Those poor girls at magic city will not have a night to celebrate them. The NBA sent out the press release announcing they had canceled. They announced that they had canceled the plan in arena promotion for the game on March 16th. Keep in mind, they did not say the name of the strip club. They got sticks up. They took us up there. They don't want to say it. They had a quote from Adam Silver, the lizard person that said, when we became aware of the Atlanta Hawks' scheduled promotion, we reached out to the Hawks leadership to better understand their plans and rash it out. What do you think their plan was? They wanted to eat chicken wings and look at hot girls who

strip. That's the plan, man. It's not that deep, dude. Anyway, while Silver Quote continues, while we appreciate the team's perspective and their desire to move forward, we have heard significant concerns from a broader ray of league stakeholders. Who would those people be? Including fans, partners and employees. I believe canceling this promotion is the right decision for the broader NBA community. There will be no magic city night, although the NBA did not say the phrase in the press release. They didn't say the word. That's disappointing. Yeah. It would have been fun. It would have been quite the event. Unfortunately, we do have site to bite coming up in a little bit. The available free agent still left in the NFL Kyler Murray, alligator arms Murray, Justin Fields, who should be playing for the Edmonton, what used to be called the Edmonton Eskimos. I think they're called the Elks now because

the wokesters in Canada had to change the name of it. Kirk Cousins also can be yours. And as far as wide receiver targets that are still out there, there has been some chatter that the patriots, they've changed their wish list. And Chris Alave, the former, I think he's still with the say that he's free agent, whatever he's he last I heard he was with the sense, but his name has been tossed out Romeo Dobbs, just an average NFL wide receiver, some of the names that are being bandied about. I love the word bandied. You only use the word bandied when you put about after it. Is there any other way to say the word bandied without about after it? I don't know. Tom is in Vermont. He wants to talk. Hello, Tom. Welcome. Hey, thanks for taking my call. I just want to say that the jingling of the keys, that is that is blind scott's version of Marco Polo and he gets excited when the jingling of the keys go. Oh, okay. I was going to say that's that's a rare just take. In fact, most people don't even have

most people don't have keys anymore anyway, right Tom? There's not a lot of people carrying keys around. Well, maybe the key fob and you know, making your horn go off, but well, yeah, the key fob, but I've got I've got a real key. Look at that. That's a real American-made key right there. Look at that. I got one. I have one for my older truck, but how old is that dude? Anyway, I mean, he said dude all the time. Hold on a second, Tom. Let's see, blind scott. Tom wants to know how old you are blind scott. I'm 33. I'm 33. I love my mom. You are not 33. There's no, you are not 33. You've been calling me. I'm 43. I'm 43.
