00Pull up. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast, Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story? It has been made so fast. The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapsed. What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe? Oh my god, I think she might be innocent. Listen to Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. How do you do? It's our number four. Our number four. As we iron out the wrinkles on the Ben Mallor Show podcast. Here in our four, how sincere is defensive end? Trey Hendrickson's goodbye note to Cincinnati. They did not franchise tag him. Where does Hendrickson end up next? Are the bangles now cooked without edge rusher, Trey Hendrickson, returning to that defense?

00And also we have three musketeers of the franchise tag, the real franchise tag. Reese Hall, George Pickens, and Kyle Pitts. Which one is going to make the biggest stink? Over being the franchise tag player. We'll talk about that. And more settle and have a great rest of your Wednesday here. This fourth day of March here. It is our number four. Hey, Trey. Go away. Go away. Go away. Welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Mallor Show. We are in the air. Every where as we talk to talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk. And we do the hippo hip hop, coast to coast, border to border, and beyond on the vast end, colossally powerful microphones of FSR emanating live from the grand. As we have a grand all the time.

00And not together with the world famous Fox Sports Radio Studios. Now out back John and Joanna in SoCal. In the San Gabriel Valley. 5:02and faster. So I'll leave this out from the wacky world of pro football and buy buy bangles. We're going to Cincinnati where a player who wanted to go somewhere else last year didn't give his wish. Now he's gotten his wish. The bangles did not use the franchise tag on a defensive entry Hendrickson and that means that a player who was an all pro and way back in 2024 is now available to sign with your NFL team Hendrickson's time was since an addy done after five seasons now he gave a very emotional very emotional goodbye. I don't see you saw this or not. No. Hendrickson posted a heartfelt thank you letter to the organization, his teammates, his coaches and the staff, the fans, it was on the socials. It was on the socials.

02And so that's a good jumping off point. Let us discuss the question as we discuss this. How sincere and how sincere was train Hendrickson's goodbye note to the Cincinnati football team. So I've got Italian job, Skippy peanut butter and drone show. And we will combine all of these things together and we're going to have the gobbagool. We're going to have the gobbagool. So to lead off here, this, based on what we know about Train Hendrickson in the public's theater, this is some hoax, it's saucy. It's weak sauce, right? It's corporate poetry. I'm so cynical. How cynical are you? That I see these players that change teams. And every year, a bunch of players change teams and they go from city to city and they change uniforms and all that stuff. And I look at this and I just roll my eyes.

03Because so much of it is just baloney. Right? Baloney. Train Hendrickson was not writing from the heart. Right? He was writing from the PR department and he's what he was doing here. He's kind of passed through Cincinnati and that's it. And the bangles were the cream filling in the Oreo of his career, meaning that he started, a lot of people don't know this, but Train Hendrickson started with the Saints, played four years, not much, but played four years in New Orleans, went on to the bangles and his next stop, whoever pays him, that's where he's going to go. I don't blame him, but that's the reality. In the Irish Goodbye. I'm a big Irish Goodbye guy. I like the Irish Goodbye. In the NFL, it's always the Italian job. It's always the, or go, the Italian exit, you know, and the hugs, the kisses, the leftovers. I have some more. I have some more left.

03I don't want any more left. Take the leftovers. And then you got, yeah, another conversation at the door. And yeah, listen. It's wild. They follow you to your car. Just let me, let me go. So nobody does that. And so this becomes a paint by number situation. You change teams. You change teams. And what do you do? You post a note or they used to buy newspaper ads. John Harpaugh still bought a newspaper ad in Baltimore. My God. When he left the Ravens to go coach the giants, well, they fired him. Hendrickson, he can't come out and say, listen. I didn't like my time in Cincinnati. There were no other good players around me. They didn't pay me what I was worth. And by the way, I don't like the nickname, porcolopolis or whatever it is. And I don't like that. So it's a dumb nickname for a city and all that. And so instead he plays the game. And that's that. Now, the other question is, where does tray Hendrickson go next?

04This is always the most fun. It's always the most fun. You get out the big board there like you're a weather reporter. And you look at the chart. You look at the the jet stream. And you say, which way is the jet stream going? Is there a high? Is there a low? What's going on with that? So the NFL traveling circus continues with tray Hendrickson, who's just another past rush mercenary, who can be yours if the price is right. Can be yours. And using the Mallor crystal ball, did you try to determine where tray Hendrickson's going to go up and go to in this traveling circus? You look at it, you got horse shoes. You've got hibernation, the rodeo, and patriotism, all of those things. So you start with Indianapolis. That makes a lot of sense. And we've talked about the theme overnight. If you've been with us all night, I know you may just get up this hour and hear this hour. But we've talked about it most of the overnight. And the reality is that it's not how good you are.

06It's who you know oftentimes to get you paid. And the former Bengals defensive coordinator is now hanging out in Indianapolis. So that would be the horseshoes. That would be the horseshoes, right? Rodeo, we mentioned that, hibernation. But the horseshoes would be the Indianapolis Colts. And the coaching staff knows him. They've got some wiggle room. They can get rid of some people, make some more money appearing on that. Dallas, they need a defensive headliner. They had one, but they sent him off to Wisconsin for some cheese curds from the Packers. New England also, they need some star dust. They got to the Super Bowl, but they didn't have the star dust. And it was a really a lot of trickeration to get there, playing a bunch of tomato cans and ham and eggers. And you're going to be playing better opponents. You would think next year. So it's going to be harder for the Patriots. And I mentioned, I don't know if we mentioned Chicago, but Chicago, that would be the hibernation. The bears, monsters in the midway and all that stuff.

07And they need a real monster to get to the quarterback there in Chicago. So anyway, you slice it. Anyway, you slice it. Hendrickson will have a new uniform. And as always, you follow the money. Follow the money, pal. Follow the money. Always money, money, money. Got to follow the money. All right. Now, furthermore, keeping the beat going. And the other question regarding the defensive edge from Cincinnati, are the bangles now cooked? Are the bangles now cooked without Trey Hendrickson coming back? And he's out. He's not coming back. So they're going to pay him. He's gone. That's it. Game over. It's game over. So on the surface, he would say, yes, if you look at the last five years for these Cincinnati football team, the last five years with Trey Hendrickson in the lineup, the bangles have a five 69 winning percentage.

11They're 10 games above 500 with Trey Hendrickson playing on the defensive. When Hendrickson is a wall, when he doesn't play, Cincinnati is 24 and 51. And one, by the way, yeah, throw that one in there. So my math tells me that is 27 games under 500 when Hendrickson does not play if my math is correct on that. That is a three 22 winning percentage. I know this might be off a little bit, but never let just being a contrarian here. Forget the math because I use Mal or math. Being a contrarian, I don't buy the story that the bangles are completely screwed here without Trey Hendrickson. And while Stanley cardiac Stanley in Cincinnati who had a heart attack on the air loves his bangles, and I don't think just Josh does. He's a cowboy fan. I don't know about Justin, my guys in Cincinnati. I know Dick and Dayton, big fan, big fan, Dick and Dayton of the bangles.

13But I'm going to be Benny Brightside here. And the reason I'm going to be Benny Brightside, while it is true, the Trey Hendrickson put up great stats and the record was better with him than without him in the lineup. And he suddenly had an impact on the games and all that. However, he did miss a lot of time. He was not readily available. And if you look at the impact that he had for the bangles here, Trey Hendrickson, he was like an item on the McDonald's menu, the McRibb, a seasonal item, if you will. Good when you see it. I can't really build the full menu around it because it only comes out for a few months a year, and then that's it. And since an addy finished 31st in defense last year, now I did not, I did not, did not play in the NFL. But I do know that if there's only 32 teams in your 31st, I don't think that's great. I don't think, oh, you're being mean. You're a meany. I just don't think that's great. So that means the good news is the bar can't get much lower.

16And no one, no one is saying that the Bengals have to put up a 2000 Ravens or 85 Bears defense. They just need to be somewhat competent, be able to chew gum and walk at the same time. That's it. Use the Skippy Peanut Butter approach, as I call it, and you spread that peanut butter, that money. You spread that money around. And there are ways, it's going to shock you. There are ways to improve defensively. You don't have to suck in perpetuity. You can get better. Get some high motor guys, overachievers, scheme it up, coach it up, all that stuff. Pass rush by committee. And Tray Henderson, one of the knocks on him, was that he was always only worried about sacks. He didn't play the run very well. And that was a weakness. And that was a weak spot. So you got to be better than that. And just put a lunchpale defense together. Do it that way. And climb from the bottom five to the middle of the pack.

16And then I believe Joe Burrow never seems to stay healthy. But if Burrow stays healthy with Jamar Chase, and he got some wiggle room to crank up the old, the smoker, and start smoking. And so I don't believe they're doomed. I don't believe they're doomed. They just need an obviously, do a better job coaching. That would be the start. Get some better players. Sure. All right. Meanwhile, elsewhere on franchise tag day, always a big day. I always look forward to it. Man, is it exciting? One of my favorite days of the year. Yeah. One of my favorite days there. So running back, Breeze Hall. Breeze Hall got a $14.3 million franchise tag from New York. Meaning that he will continue in the cockpit there with the J-E-T-S Sucks, Sucks, Sucks. And the Jets would get not one, but two first round draft picks as compensation if he were to leave. Now he wasn't alone. Dallas wide receiver. George Pickens. George, George, George.

17George got the franchise tag. Atlanta tied in Kyle Pits, the player that's only had about three good games in his career. Kyle Pits got the franchise tag because Atlanta doesn't know what they're doing. And so those guys are all attacked. So the question. You've got the three musketeers of the authentic OG franchise tag. Three musketeers. Breeze Hall with the Jets. George Pickens with the Cowboys and Kyle Pits with the Falkens. So here's the question. This can be a group project if you want. Which one of the three musketeers of the franchise tag? Which one is going to make the biggest stink? Or stank, if you like. So after a proper, minutes-long, maler-style deliberation of the available evidence, the answer is obvious with a capital O. Capital O, obvious. Yes, slim pickens, George Pickens.

17To me, it's not even close. To me, this is not even close. And I'm excited with the future holds. I know everything's bigger in Texas and Jerry Jones in Jerry's world as the guardian of Jerry's world. It's the NFL's version of a fireworks warehouse. And then there's a gas station and then the gas is leaking and yeah. It's a combustible situation. It's a tender box is what it is there. And it's just waiting to explode. It's just waiting to explode. The Cowboys already backed up a couple of bank heists and gave the truck of money to CD-LAM as the top wide receiver for the Cowboys. So we know that. Do you think there is a world in the multiverse where Jerry Jones, 30 years plus, this guy's been the GM of the Dallas Cowboys. Do you think Jerry Jones wants to pay two Divo wide receivers? Do you think he does? So this is, no, of course not.

18So this is going to be a Texas drone show. And I get the fireworks, the smoke machine over to the right. You'll have Jerry Jones doing his weekly radio hits in Dallas. And he'll be giving information. You'll have agents leaking stuff. It's Kabuki Theater is what it is. Call him down to the theater by a ticket. Fun for all ages, Kabuki Theater. And Pickens will be the gasoline. Jerry Jones will be out there on his yacht smoking cigar. Got the Stogie. He's good to go. The franchise tag would be the pressure cooker. So you got that. And Pickens seems, based on what we know of George Pickens, he's not exactly the kind of guy that's going to downplay things and just keep his head down and keep working. And he's not that guy. You're not that guy, pal. You're not that guy. He's the guy that handles conflict like a toddler with a drum set. Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. That kind of thing. So I'm not saying that Breast Hall is not going to complain. I remember doing monologues with Breast Hall

18wanting out of the jets being upset that he wasn't traded. So he'll raise a little bit of a hull of blue. I don't know much about Kyle Pitts. I don't know if he's going to do anything. But it doesn't matter because Pickens is the one that's going to detonate. George Pickens. And this is great because new off season, we're trying to think what's going to carry us between now. Here we sit in early March, we got to get through the rest of March, which is going to be pro day season. And then we've got April with the NFL draft and then free agency is going to happen again and the newly year starts next week. But this George Pickens Cowboy situation. Is it pandemonium? I don't know about that. I don't know about pandemonium. But it is three months of talk radio content. And if you're in the content business, this is great. This is, this is like going down to Costco and buying a big tub of mayonnaise. It's going to last for a while. It's going to last for a while. So you're good to go. It is the Ben Mallor Show. The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended, a verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Letby. Lucy Letby has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the whole story?

25The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses. 25:26That said, good riddance to Mr. overrated. I'm sure I read that on the air. I did see. I'm going to go through. I got a bunch of messages here this year. Oh, yeah, this is Paul. Paulie wrote in. And I thought this really summed up the show, the greatness of the show. So Paulie says, first time I listened to you was the night that Kobe Bryant was killed in the helicopter crash. He says, I like tell you, had the balls to say you were not a fan at such a time. Then came the COVID with no sports. And Paulie says, I listened to you nightly. I was in jail at the time. And he says, you had a great show then. With no sports, he appreciates the show. Well, thank you, Paulie. I'm glad that you're out of jail now. So good for you. Good job by you. Try to stay out of there. Although some people like going back to the great bar hotel, I haven't got any prison mail in a while. I don't know what's happening. It's the guys in prison. They ran out.

26Maybe they've all been released. No, that's not true. Now, some of those guys are, they're on the long, long term plan. Long stay extended stay at the great bar hotel. I hope they have nice beds. Good snacks. Now, you got to get the guys to sneak the cell phones in. Like, if you had Wi-Fi and the internet, I don't know, would it be that bad? Right. It'd be just like you're hanging out at home all the time. Yeah, now with the boys. What's the rent? No rent to give you food. Three meals a day. You got a place to work out. As long as the Wi-Fi is good. Boom. Community events. Not that I want to try that, by the way. I'm not looking to try. I'm just saying, you know, yeah. 33:41browns are at the very top right right yeah and then below that guardians the old Indians is that my correct yeah yeah they're number two they're number two and i don't know about number three though is that would that be the is that the calves and number three is that's uh... is that the bangles caps all the caps so it's all clean but you do represent the sovereign nation of Ohio so it's all the different sports teams i got you all right we'll get some get some rest have a great day thank you dick bye bye there he goes dick and date and where he goes only he knows Mike the leprechaun is up next hello Mike the leprechaun happy morning and before before forget Mike the leprechaun i mentioned this earlier i didn't pay it off so an NFL stadium is disappear did you see this story mike the leprechaun okay yes uh... so the Dallas Cowboys AT&T stadium

44i'm doing the story right now i'm doing this and you're very rude of you to say that all right so uh... the people at FIFA will not allow the corporate name and so they're they're changing the name of the cowboys stadium because of the world cup the Dallas Cowboys stadium would be called Dallas stadium what an original name rebranding very strict sponsorship rules very strict sponsorship rules there and of course that's gonna happen with so-fi stadium all these NFL stands but i brought up the cowboys because that's you know Jerry Jones that's all Jerry up to his old tricks there so yeah okay so um... foxborough had a meeting that's like they're owed ten million for security they haven't got me yet and they're not issuing the permits to people for seven world cup games and their deadline is next two days and that's the fact and i want to give a shout out to um... jacking goes at the Wu-sox he's the manager of group sales i will sweet book for

48you for that date in blah blah blah oh okay well look at that we all have we all have deadlines and i i would say buttons bob should do a fandy boy fandy is the squirrel with the helmet on he should be nominated for rookie of the year rookie the year you're you're not called over here do you think you are called over here i believe i have a platform correct okay hold on a second Marcel mike de leprechaun thinks he's the color of the year the answer is no all right uh... mike de leprechaun he says you are not the color of the year well i will tell about uh... martell sorry uh... i do not do negativity i don't block people all you do is do toxic co-downs of other people all right uh... martell mike de leprechaun tells me you do toxic takedowns of other people that correct well believe it or not i blocked that might be idiot on because he called me all right uh... i i i believe he blocked you because you called him some name

53we're trying to get him to come out we're trying to raise money for them to go on a meet and greet there's some talk about it on the reddit page for fun all these people because they don't get paid but might don't let them talk he lived in the worst neighborhood in massachusetts all right uh... mike is it true that you suck i do i do not suck i live in the i was that he did i live in a very elite neighborhood framing him massachusetts all right he uh... he claims he lives in elite neighborhood in what's the leprechaun has been blocked and twitter is fine police reports a dent resource all right uh... you're you're not filing police reports are you like the leprechaun well i'll have uh... oh no obviously the answer is no okay obviously the answer is no the blind spot comes up at all there i got you all right marcell your thoughts on this uh... developing controversy uh... marcell rather your thoughts marcell all these two gentlemen from massachusetts of the commonwealth there are the worst colors of the year who's where who's worse blunt blinds got mike the leprechaun or mike a new hampshire
