3:04Hey guys. Hi. So my grievance is what's having to upgrade my phone. I really, really don't want to. But as we speak, I am on my way to Oklahoma to pick up a reason for having to replace my phone. And that is, I've never mentioned this on the radio before, but I have a daughter and she's moving in with me. And I broke the camera on my phone. So I need to replace it so that I can take pictures and stuff. The problem is that everyone likes to think that the big rivalry between cell phones is between Apple and Android. And there's actually a third contender. And that is without getting too technical, you wipe the operating system off of the device and install your own. And there are great many benefits to doing this. So the problem I now have is that the new phone that I'm getting, they've blocked that capability. They're on to you. So now I have to join you, Plebians, and go back to Android. I really don't want to. That's my concern. All right, man. Have a great weekend.

I don't know if you remember me, but I'm the mother of the Dana and Parks child that you guys did not make. Got it. I do remember that. Yes, yes, yes. Yeah. So my grievance is with, and I know it's probably a broken record. It's the broken system that we're in right now. Long story short, he's not 20 months old. We were told last year, December 12th for Christmas. He's going to get kicked off a really good insurance plan through my husband's work because he's too sick. He's got ongoing medical issues. And they said, either you kick him off, get him on to a different insurance plan with some other company. Oh, wow, raising the 80, raising the premiums by 86%. 86% is ridiculous. I thought that was illegal. I didn't think they could do that. So there's a fine line because of how it set up. It's the way that the company pays into it for the insurance

5:07agency. But that's exactly what I thought too. So into the state to see if possibly, you know, we could get him on maybe a secondary insurance. Well, we fall through the cracks there, too, because we're a working class family. They put us on a spend down for months of $3,164 per month. That starts over every month. So if you pay that amount, then you'll get covered. Good God. Have contacted local agencies. I've contacted one of the first contacts in the president. I got a generic email back. I've got a generic email back from everybody. I do want to give a shout out to you. I hope that I can say this. He's out of my jurisdiction. But Mayor Quentin Lucas is office. 6:08My grievance is with public bathrooms. When you go in and there's no hook on the door. Thank you. Your purse or your jacket, it just grinds my gears. Because I'm not putting my stuff on a poopy floor. Yep. It's disgusting. Any restaurant that has that? And Katie, I've noticed it in some airports, there's no hook. And I'm like, what are you doing? I don't get it. It's just ridiculous. OK. Doc in St. Joseph. Hello, Doc. Hey, guys. First, my many grievances. I just can't get in during a discussion to add some factual information. And I feel like I should have my own segment. I get high and I know things. But Dana said, nobody knew about 1587. And I just want to do inform her. I saw when they were on Shark Tank episode 1 season 16. Information said that 2.3 million people watched that episode. They gave the spiel about it.

7:09Now, 1587 was the first year that was documented where an Oriental person was brought into the United States. OK, Ruggs or Oriental people are Asian. Yes. Oh, OK. However, so did they get picked on Shark Tank? They did not. Their problem with them is they said their customer acquisition cost was too high. Sneakers were a very competitive market. They needed to concentrate on what the totality of their product line would be and that they needed to expand their social media footprint. But at that night, in October of 24, I sent them an email, get a comment to the company and said, hey, I'm out in Kansas City. And I'm sure you've heard this. 1587 of the two numbers for our star players. I know it'd be expensive to pay them to endorse your products. Yeah. 10 a bunch of them, they would wear them. They'd wear the shirts out, golfing, or things like that. Instead of suing them. And then, yeah, exactly.

8:12And I think they did 500,000 either in 24 or 25. And now there is a mocha, Museum of Chinese in America, the history of Chinese people in this country. And they have their own display in there. And it's about culture, entrepreneurship, things that have happened to various Oriental people. They also recruited Michael Chang. It was a genospinometer at 1817 and 1987. And he came on board. OK. I bought a shirt when they were $68. And like, two months later, they were 25. OK, yeah, that's all right. Thank you for all the information. I don't think you can trademark a number like that. I even have some guy walking a dog that just picked one up out of the street and just put it on the sidewalk, even though it was a block down here, no idea where it went. 10:17Hello. Hi. My grievance is twofold, two traffic ones. Number one. Number one, statistically engineering wise, safety wise, everything wise, zipper merge is the best. I'm amazed at how many people somehow feel you're being the jerk if you practice zipper merge. Thank you, Jim. And then number two, right on red. The law does not require you to turn right on red. It's at your own prerogative. But obviously, if you're able to do it safely in one, two, that's great. However, I have had so many times where you're in the right hand lane, no to red light. And the middle lane will have a vehicle that is so huge and so big that no matter how closely I get the bumper, the front bumper of the car toward the roadway, I want to turn right onto. If I move two inches, I'm going to be T-bone.

18:38You have a great show and I know you're entertainers, but when you got a legal issue, call, have a lawyer call in. I wasn't going to call about this, but you keep talking about, like you guys are experts on service and trademark law on 1587. Steve, I have a very dear friend who's one of the top trademark attorneys in the country. And from time to time, I will text her and say, okay, what's going on with this? That is a very specific type of law and you are right. We should have a trademarker patent person on. Just so I forget to help you and I'm not that expert, but I have studied that area. The issue is the likelihood of confusion. That is the legal standard that they use. So even though your name is McDonald, you can't open up a McDonald's hamburger joint, okay? If your name is Hines and you want to sell windows, you could open up Hines 57 windows, but you can't open up Hines 57 state sources.

19:39Correct, but Steve, outside of Kansas City, who's going to make that confusion? 1587. I don't think anybody. If you asked someone in Indiana, what's 1587 mean, they'd be like, I don't know. If you're right, a restaurant is not going to be confused with tennis shoes. However, they do have a case because you have 1587 is selling clothing wear that has 1587 on it. A court might say, yeah, there might be a possibility of confusion if they're selling similar clothing wear. Not for sure, but it's possible. Okay. They're selling merch. Hey, my issues with the 69, not just the express lanes, but the entire highway. They just built a brand new highway. And it's rough as 435 is. No way. Think a brand new highway would at least be smooth. It's got bumps and bridge seems, you know, the entire way. Do you drive it every day? I've driven it a couple of times since they've opened it wide open. I drive it every day. Here's why I ask. I have not been on the new 69 highway since they reopened it. Don't really have any reason to get down there. But we keep getting word on the text line that nobody is using the express lane. Is that true? I was, I tried to just see what it was like. You know, was it life changing? Absolutely. Yes. So I was the only car in that entire lane from 35 all the way down to 150%.

You know, I don't know if you drove in Kansas City, but it used to be that if you drove through Leewood, you did the speed limit or a couple more over because they didn't play. Now you go out on the highway. You go on Shawnee Mission Parkway and people are trying to break the land speed records. I hear what you're saying. I do believe some of those cities, I don't know if it was Avondale, but some of those cities did get popped because way more than was legally allowed of their city revenue was coming from speeding tickets. 28:49Yeah. I am so sorry. And if I was just, if I was just looking carefully at my, at my pay tax along the year instead of just looking at the amount I was getting paid, I definitely would have noticed it. But my grievance is I live in a housing community down there. And my next neighbor has a big ass farmer that he likes to start up and run for 10, 15 minutes. And it needs a muscleer. And so I work from home and my clients. I can't even hear them because my windows are rattling from his hummer. That's my grievance. Who drives a hummer anymore, patty? No. Thank you. It's been years since I've seen one of those on the streets. It's probably why it's a muffler shot. Right. Have you tried talking to him about this?

29:49Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. How's that going? It's his baby. He's rebuilt it. And he took more firepower in the engine. And it's a pain. It's really difficult. I tell him. I said, come on. I worked during these hours from home. I need you to stop. He doesn't. And then he'll go out and turn his radio up full blast on his hummer while the mufflers were rattling. And then the last thing I'm a stereo, like, and he's 65 years old. It's not like he's a teenager. Tell me you're not a well-in-doubt man without telling me you're not a well-in-doubt man. Thank you. How many people weighed in, Scott, that knew him from all different roles he has had in Kansas City and beyond? 32:13One of my neighbors across the street who I don't really know her that well, I know her, but I mean, I've never been in her home. She's never been in mine. I was just sitting on the front porch the other day and she's leaving her house and she's driving on the street and she stops right in front of mine, rolls down her window and said that segment with the guy who worked with your dad was incredible. And I just said, well, thank you very much. You're very kind to say that. And she goes, man, I've had more people reach out to me saying, I couldn't stop crying during that segment. Suck it up, Scott. Suck it up, Scott. Very quickly. Yes, text line. I don't know how, why it happened or how it happened for whatever reason, the emergency alert system just tried to do a test a few minutes ago. Not the time. Yeah. There's nothing crazy. I mean, there's a tornado watch, but it could get bad. But as of right this second, guys, I don't know why the system decided to push it through. I hope it wasn't the state that did it. Oh, you guys.

33:14Yeah. We'll have to bring that back on Monday in Tulsa, just so you know, I just saw this on Twitter. There are meteorologists telling people in a certain area, you know, get to your safe place. And so that is part of the same line that eventually will be heading here. It's going to leave Roy in Kansas City. Hello. Hey, guys, they say my call again today, of course, I got two grievances and one of them, you know, diamond does it just like the different merge construction on the roadway. But the exit to the airport of 29, they've been working on that patch area for eight months. I bet something like that. And I would be honest, I live right next to that. I don't know why there was nothing wrong. It wasn't beat up or destroyed or plot hole rate. I mean, I'm not part of the transportation part of it. Obviously, there's something they need to do, but taking forever, and I don't even know why they started in the first place. So I added to the list of construction woes. The second grievance is for our fellow speeders.
