00for archmaning. Is this even remotely credible? Also, the Patriots are said to be cooling a wide receiver Alec Pierce while the 49ers are in the mix. How does that strike you? And the giants are reportedly priced out on running back Kenneth Walker, late of Seattle. Does that story hold up? We'll talk about all that and more right now. Settle in. And have a great day today on this ninth day of March. It's our number four. Driving the tank. Driving the tank. Welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Mallor Show. We are in the air. Every wear. Spinning feathers. As we provide endless excitement, unless we don't coast to coast, board and a border and beyond, on the vast and staggeringly powerful microphones of FSR emanating live from the theater.
04The hot take theater in the bowels. Of the world famous Fox Sports Radio Studios. As approved by the nature boy. Who reminds us that this hour made possible by our friends at Tyraq for over 40 years. Tyraq has been helping customers find the right tires for how what and where they drive. And Derek, the bill's monster absolutely loves it. Can't close the kneel kneel. Says it's outstanding. Ship fast and free back by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options. Like mobile tire installation Tyraq.com. The way that Tyraq buying. Sure. I think that is that Mikey the insomniac over there. Our buddy from Tampa. Mikey the insomniac. And he says, hey, what about that express? Well, yeah, it's express employment professionals. Don't let employees turn over. Slow down your business.
04This employment professionals finds the talent you need to keep productivity on track from the warehouse to the front office. Express staffs all jobs is at expressprose.com today. And I know cashless clay, the Saints fan. He supports that. He gives the old thumbs up on that for sure. He does. All right. So lead this hour from gang green. Gang green. These streets are talking. And you hear what they say, no. Well, today's a big day because it's the legal tampering period. They've been tampering going on in the NFL since the beginning of time. Now it's legal tampering. Legal tampering days. There'll be a lot of dirt, a lot of gossip. They'll be flying around later today. The jets. One of the storylines. This is not new. It's a boilerplate story. To try to get archmaning. It wasn't even that good last year for the Texas Longhorns.
06The jets considering signing a stopgap. Of course, this will stop nothing. Geno Smith, the dream maker. Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz. Somebody like that. Or possibly both. Possibly both. To get them through the 2026 regular season. The focus is on trying to lose. To build the perfect tank. Geno Smith has shown that he has the skill set. He proved that with the Raiders that he is so incompetent. He is such a stumble bum. He can get you to the very top of the NFL draft. Just give Geno Smith a chance. He's the dream maker. And he'll make that happen. He'll make that right at your fingertips, right there at your fingertips. And again, the prize supposedly is Texas Longhorns quarterback archmaning. So that is a good jumping off point. Let us discuss the question. For the esteemed panel, the question. The jets are considering Geno Smith or Carson Wentz. The theory. The hypothesis is that they are trying to tank for archmaning.
08Is this even remotely credible? So I might take on this. I've got the dragons triangle. Balsamic vinaigrette. And yoga instructor. And we will combine all of these things together. And we are going to make a bridge to nowhere. Which, oh, by the way, is where the jets happen to be going. A bridge to nowhere. And they can have some gobbagool on the way. No bobbagannush for them, though. All right, so to tick off here. The very premise that this, well, to be credible, the jets tanking, that would imply a strategy. Planning. A roadmap. A blueprint. Calling this tanking is giving the jets way too much credit. Way too much credit. This franchise has not had a direct. You realize the last time the jets had any kind of direction.
08Was when disco was popular. Disco was popular. People were still calling La Guardia a nice airport. The last time the jets had any kind of plan. And what other teams, this is the part that I love so much. What other teams called tanking. The jets called trying. They're camouflage from tanking. Again, the last time they were in a good, people were in bell bottoms. And that was, that was in style. How would anyone even know the difference? How would anyone know the difference with the jets? Seriously. You would know. They've been face planting for my entire life. And I'm getting older. Last we saw Coach Aaron Glenn. He was. He was dosing off at the combine. Yeah, yeah. So you want to trust that operation to execute some kind of master plan.
10And is Aaron Glenn. That messed up. Well, he'd be willing to sacrifice his head coaching career. So the jets get the big arch burger. Is that right? Now, that's a choice. Yeah, that's a choice. By the way, arch manning. The bloodline is the big selling point. The manning brand and all that good for business. I get it. However, there's still a lot of people that don't seem to understand. He's his kid. He's Cooper's son. Now, Eli and Peyton. They became famous in the NFL. Cooper Manning became famous in real estate. There's a little bit of a difference. A little bit. Just a little bit. Now, adding the fact. You add in the fact that gangrene. Just in general is being run by either. Dumbo from Disney. Or the kids of the owner. Or possibly both possibly Dumbo. And the teenagers who are the sons of the Johnson and Johnson family.
12Woody Johnson's kids. But there are a football version of the jets of the dragons triangle. That's what the jets are. The dragons triangle, this mysterious region of the ocean. Where many ships and planes have disappeared without a trace. Very similar to the Bermuda triangle. This one's on the other ocean. But very similar. And if the jets had drafted. You realize how bad the jets are. I am convinced. If the jets had drafted Patrick Mahomes. Same player coming out of Texas Tech. Patrick Mahomes. That by this point, Mahomes. Rather than still being. The gold standard at quarterback in the NFL. Mahomes. Would have by now become a captain. Not a team captain. The captain of the Staten Island ferry. That he'd be working on the Staten Island ferry. That would be his gig. Rather than playing quarterback for the chiefs. If he had been drafted by the jets. He wouldn't be playing for the jets anymore.
12He would have been working on the Staten Island ferry. Now further. To free agent land. Some nuggets. And man, do we love our nuggets. Not the Denver nuggets. But the nuggets. And we have learned now that the market for Colt free agent wide receiver. The Alex Pierce. It's apparently out of the budget for the New England Patriots. If you believe the scuttle butt. However, the 49ers. They're in it. They're in it to win it. Supposedly. All right. Question. Chatter overnight. The Patriots cooling. Cooling on wide receiver. Alex Pierce. While the 49ers. Are. Weasel Rolladex phrases. Maybe. Might. Possibly. Chance it happens. Like all that stuff.
13It's a word salad with extra balsamic. Vinaigrette. That's it. Right. A salad dressing. A lot of salad dress and get that vinegar all over the place. From agents and insiders who don't know a damn thing. It's the classic NFL smoke machine. They toss out a couple of vague. Verbs and suddenly. Breaking news. Breaking news. This is the NFL. Rumor machine. It's not the George Michael sports machine. You don't even know what that is. But it's it's like that. But it's similar. Not quite the same. Nobody knows anything. They're all flying by the seat of their pants. And teams are visiting. For Alex Pierce. That sounds to me like the pump and dump. Might as well be an NFT. Just pump it up. You leak that the patriots are out. But the 49ers are in. You stir the pot. Put a little extra spice in there.
13Sprinkle that on top. Sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle. Just like that. And try to hit that jackpot. I did. I got a yard sale at a garage sale. That's Alex Pierce. Now, we're acting like he's puking a Kua 2.0 Because he had a good year in Indianapolis. And listen, I liked the player last year. I thought he played well. It's like the NFL's version of buying a house After you did one open house visit. You saw the kitchen once. You didn't see the bathrooms. And now you're offering a King's ransom. And it's got to be all cash. It's got to be all get that for your thick skull. All right, last thing now. We go to Jersey. New Jersey where reports also indicating that the G-I-A-N-T-S Giants Giants suck suck. They have been priced out. They reached in pass with Kenneth Walker. Even though it's not the legal tampering period. Walker was on the wish list for the Giants this off season.
15However, reports out of Gotham adjacent. Say that he's going to get a contract so big. How big? So big. That the Giants simply will not be able to agree to it. Now, even so, the fact that Giants are pursuing a running back. There's people up in arms over that. A lot of excitement last year. There's a lot of enthusiasm with Cam Skataboo. And people hoping he would be the workhorse back. It sounds like the Giants have other ideas with the new coaching staff. With Harbaugh coming in. John Harbaugh would like to have a stable of running backs in there. And he's not convinced that Cam Skataboo is the man. So stay tuned as we get to the legal tampering period. Now, the question. The Giants reportedly priced out on Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker. Does this story hold up? Does that story hold up?
15Since when does the NFL have a price ceiling? Priced out. Very dramatic. Very dramatic. Oldest trick in the book. It's the front office code. It's a dog whistle. For we don't want the player that much. But we don't want to say that because you're yell at us. So we're not going to say that. If a team really wants a player, they find the money somehow, some way. Whether they have to panhandle. Whether they have to dig through seat cushions on the sofa. They find a way. Yeah, it's lying season in the NFL. The salary cap is not a brick wall. Think of the salary cap like a yoga instructor. Very flexible. Bands, it stretches. It does the downward dog. Or the team wants. It's perfect the salary cap. I'm a salary capture.
15Every team suddenly becomes a mathematician, if you will. When they want a player, they're able to find the money. And then when they don't, it's like, oh my god. These cap guys have no clue. They think they have all the answers. But yet, if you want to, if you're aggressive, you just keep adding and adding good players. And it works out. And that's it. And then there you go. The cap is basically monopoly money with a spreadsheet. Meanwhile, Kenneth Walker, who it would appear based on the available players, is the North Star of the running back market. But not a Minnesota North Star. Because they don't exist anymore. He's delivered in Seattle, delivered the ring. And they kicked him out of Seattle. That's what that franchise does. For noster, Dean, this and JJ and retinol. That guy helped to win a Super Bowl along with the officials. And they kicked him out. And now he's shopping for the bag. So he got them. The ring.
15He wants the bag. What's in the bag? Of course, to get the full amount of money. Not a dime back. Kenneth Walker is going to have to go to the football version of a demilitarized zone. In free agency, with a suitcase. And just looking for every shekel he can get, whether that's the titans or the command. That's the Titans or the commanders or the Jets teams like that the Raiders who all have a lot of cap space and all the bad teams All the bad teams like staring at each other waiting to blink who's gonna blink blinkity blinkity blinkity blink and eventually somebody will eventually somebody will likely before the end of the week This will be done if not by the end of the day today Walker already got the bling bling for Seattle And now he's knocking on doors and where's where's my money money money money and trust me again he will get the money he is going to get the money He's going to happen it is the Ben Mallor Show as we are rolling through the overnight hours here and we're very excited here the boys on the X machine did a great job

30In the kangaroo court of the Mallor militia so after court or else you'll be haunted by the ghost of Skeeter And you don't want that our buddy Skeeter it is the Ben Mallor Show Chatter overnight here that the first quarterback domino has has almost fallen here and it appears that Malik Willis late of the Green Bay Packers there is a front runner for these services of Malik Willis who is it? Developing hot dot dot dot that would be the Arizona Cardinals Wow It doesn't get you all turned on does it know Cardinals who are coached by the brother of the Green Bay Packers coach I'm sure that's not why this is all related Cardinals expected to offer multi-year contract
30Oh my god Malik Willis in the neighborhood of 60 million dollars Now I think you'll do okay 60 million dollars for Malik Willis Okay so that's one of the rumors that's bubbling up here on the overnight another name Wondale Robinson does that do anything for you know? Okay Giants wide receiver know more free agent and it is expected that Wondale Robinson will take his talents To the Tennessee Titans when free agency fully opens up here like soon like right away So keep an eye on that one all right we'll take some calls here at eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox And any any any money mall let's say hello to James who's in Tacoma hello James welcome What's going on?
30So it's Max Crosby DJ Watts and now scared all the same AFC North division If you're Roger are you going to retire now if you're Joe Barrow are you going to ask for a trade? No It doesn't Melissa Watts the Watts look he's heard a lot he's out Miles Garrett puts up empty stats the Browns don't win And we'll see what Max Crosby does in Baltimore the man doesn't matter like these good players all over the place Okay, you know quit because there's good players what kind of attitude is that James why would you quit go beat him Okay then then the big story of the weekend which you're not mentioning is what happened on Florida Over the weekend where a group of girls were selling Gookies outside of Marissa Warner Warner shop and they got shut down those are all right I did but first why I didn't mention that I thought it was in Philadelphia. I don't think it was in Florida. I thought it was in Philadelphia.
32We did mention that that's bad listening by you because we did mention what were you listening to We did you maybe go get go get some food or something when we're talking about that James What's going on with you by the way what are you up to? I fell asleep and my wife Scott was on the air. Oh, that's it. Okay. Well, that makes sense. Yeah, he does he does that a lot people fall asleep when they hear blind Scott. So fortunate. I got you. All right James. Well go back to bed. All right. Thank you buddy. I'm just very passionate conversation about the AFC North very concerned about the health of Aaron Rogers concerned about that. Say hello to Mike the leprechaun who is next. Hello Mike the leprechaun Not too long to sent out these days. Did you run them? Did you run the marathon yesterday then? Yes, I ran the LA marathon and then came in and did a show. Yes. That was great finish though. That was awesome that that guy the teacher from Michigan that sprinted at the very end.
34The awesome. Good job by him. They were trying to pass out meadows to the people who could stop at 18 miles because it was hot. That was stupid. It was very hot. But the whole point is it's a test of endurance. You don't reward people who finish six miles or whatever it is short of the point to gain. That's bad job by that. Eight. Eight. Eight miles by the way. 18 plus eight. But anyway, I'd like to propose an octagon with Marcel on Wednesday. I hold on a sec. Marcel, would you be interested Marcel and Brooklyn? Would you be interested in a verbal octagon versus Mike the leprechaun? It's Mike the stupid con now, Ben. I thought he was I thought he was loser con. He's stupid con. Yes, it is. Is that a yes or a no? The answer is yes. The answer is yes. We are a little less than a week away from the Benny Awards. Your level of confidence Marcel that you will be the call of the year? Absolutely. Looking for five times.
36Okay, all right. Mike the leprechaun. It sounds like he's accepting your challenge for a Wednesday verbal octagon. Yeah, be sure to tune in folks on Fox Sports Radio at the 5 a.m. Eastern 2 a.m. Pacific hour. Yeah, I don't hear Mike the leprechaun. I was talking to him. I don't know what happened. Are you there, Mike? Mike the leprechaun? Hello, Mike the leprechaun. Yes, yes, hi. My motto is laugh with the leprechaun. Marcel is loser, loser, block him, block him. That's not really a motto of to win. That doesn't project confidence in the public in the Malam militia. I'm out of four Wednesday. Marcel, he's taking shots at you. Your thoughts on his position here. He's waxing lyrical about you're not going to win because of your attitude. Well, my model is let's make five time call over the year. Great again and take down Mike the idiot con because he much saying. All right, so you're focused, Marcel. Let me help you out. So you're focused on the election this week.
40You want the will of the people. You want the popular vote. That's what you're worried about. You're not worried about this. This is below you, but you're going to do it anyway. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. Not very nice. Okay. Anything else, Michael leprechaun. Is that it? We're good with you. Yes. I know. Oh, no. I got a thing to say. It's the final down. It's the final countdown. Marcel. And you're going down like a leg dog balloon. Time for Armageddon for Marcel. Because term limits for years is enough for one president, one dictator. All right. Marcel, are you a dictator? No. Do you know what a dictator is? Like feed our Castro. Well, yeah, sure. There you go. Yeah, sure. And for him, he was not going to go to defeat me in this.
42They're horrible after gone for a day. Okay. Yeah. All right. All right. What are we doing here? Hold on now. Let's go to let's go to Mark and West Palm. Hello, Mark. Welcome. What's going on with you? Are you a normal person? Mark? Do I need to go back to Marcel and Mike the leprechaun? Yes. You might not remember me. I call that week retired for American West Palm Beach. Oh, yeah. I remember you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You worked at the red robin. Is that right? Yeah. I'm somewhat normal. That's what you want to call it. I got you. Yeah. Yeah. You were traded. You have some red robin thing that you were talking to Lorraine about. I remember something. Yeah. I remember. I am mailing that out today. All right. Lorraine, I've been told to inform you that our friend Mark is going to hook you up with red robin swag that he's got. Because he worked there and he's got this thing and he's going to send it to you. I'm excited. And that's no, that's no small task because the shipping is very expensive to send it is expensive. It's ridiculous.
43It's not that bad. Oh, okay. I was trying to, I was trying to pump you up there, Mark. I was trying to put the tires up. I'm getting toward the end of my ship. So all I'm thinking about right now is one home. Okay. I got you. I got you. All right. Well, you didn't call about that. What did you call? What's on your agenda here? What did you want to get out? It's like I told the guy before you. I was like, I can't really watch or listen to a professional sports anymore because all your years, bet, bet, bet, bet, bet. I'm tired of hearing it. I'm an old guy. I'm tired. I don't know where I bet. You didn't grow up with it. I got you and I love gambling as much as anybody, but it is a little much. It's all, you know, so everywhere you go, it's this line, that line. I'm like, yeah, let it breathe a little bit. That's what I say. Let it breathe a little bit, Mark. You don't have to shove it down everyone's throat. Just let it breathe. Exactly. Exactly. I mean, I mean, not too fed, not shovel fed. Backhole fed is tough. Well, it's, you know, it's a, it's a slippery slope. And then they've kind of gone down at this point.
49So they got to figure out a way to make it work less is more, less is more. Oh, it seems like they're more, give me some more. Yeah. No, it certainly is. I mean, I watch a lot of games every night. And I can't get away from it. It's all over the place. And I'm not, I'm not saying that's bad for you. That's fine. But there's some of us. Like you said, we didn't grow up with that. And I mean, I made a bet. My first bet I ever made with anybody. I made with a friend of mine. Yeah. When the Argos were in St. Louis, they were playing the Dolphins. I bet $10. I was sweating major bullets. The Dolphins won. But man, that's what betting is all about two guys. I bet you that we're going to win. Not just you got them. Okay. Well, how are you? That's great. Yeah. It's, it's an interesting because you know, guys, your age are the ones that are mostly watching the sports. The younger guys are on their phones on TikTok or whatever. They're not really paying attention to games all night. So they're not watching as much. So you got to appeal to your customer base. It's, it is an issue. All right. Well, Mark, you're almost done with your shift.
53Look at that. You can see the finish line. Yes. Almost out of that. It's starting to get the sky starting to a little orange down here. Oh, that's coming up. Time for me to go. All right. Be good. Thank you, Mark. All right. There's Mark West Palm. Gonna hook the rain up with that, that swag from what is it? I forget. Just some stuff he has from his red robin days. Okay. So is this real or fake Drake May? I'm told he's the future, the star of the Patriots, although he vomited all over himself and the Super Bowl. But Drake may showed up. He's in on vacation in Japan. I believe was at the world baseball classic game there. And he wore a Dodger jersey. What wall? Yeah. Now my theory is that this is more of that foe outrage stuff. Like I don't know if people are genuinely upset with Drake May. I don't, I don't buy that. I don't believe it. It's just he wore an Otani jersey. It happened to be a Dodger jersey.
58He should have won a Japanese World Baseball Classic jersey. We wore a Dodger jersey. When in Japan, when you're in the kingdom of Otani, and he's the Jordan of Japan right now and all that. So I don't see what to be. I think this is mostly just like foe outrage. And we have the tabloids feeding frenzy as they in Vegas this weekend. Joe Barrow, the Bengals quarterback spotted playing cards in Vegas at the same table with the recently divorced Jessica Alba. There is a massive age difference between the two. And of course, people connecting the dots. Well, there may be something there. Hey, I don't really care that much. I thought it was interesting. The story. I thought was kind of crazy that you're at a blackjack table in Vegas. And I guess there was some red carpet event. What red carpet event was going on in Vegas this weekend. I have no idea, but they were they were hanging out.
03I don't know. Look a little fishing to me. Joe Barrow that I shouldn't comment based on my situation, but it's the hair thing. I don't know if that's working for him. You know what I'm saying? You know, he's got a little bit of a lot of Jessica Alba. It might be working for him. I don't know. She's 15 years old. And I saw Puka Nakua was there. Also, there was some launch party. They flew a bunch of these people in to Vegas. It was at the win. Laws Vegas. So they were hanging out at the win there. And then also a bunch of them went to the UFC thing where Puka Nakua. People now upset Puka has been going through all the starlets in Hollywood and social media. And now people upset at Puka because he was too emotional. He was too into the UFC cage side. He was going crazy. As at UFC 326 in Vegas over the weekend, Puka was going nuts. And there's photos and video of him, very passionate as a fan.
07And that upset people that apparently Puka is supposed to be like all the other rich people and famous people or people that think they're famous and sit there and just watch and not engage. And he chose to engage. And so he was getting killed for that. What are you doing? Shibon you. That was fine. Puka's as long as he catches 100 passes and scores a bunch of touchdowns, not that not that concerned by. It's fun. He's not going to last that long in the NFL. Most of these guys don't last that long. Let him enjoy it. Live a life a little bit. He's not getting arrested. It's fine. It is the bay that Mallor Show. Well, let's see. Let's pick the category. You're one or two. One or two. You need me. We're thinking number one number one. All right. Number one. Number one. One hundred people surveyed the top five answers are on the board. Your name is your buzzer. If you want to go first, name something people use to for tell the future. Scott Scott.
22A tarot card. Yeah. Yes. That is correct. Scott. That was the that was the number team answer. Number two answer. All right. You get to go again, Scott. So you get one wrong. Name something people use to for tell the future. There are still four answers on the board. Crystal. What's that? Crystal. I guess are we now? We're ready to use it now. Cool. Can you be more specific? No. Crystal ball. There you go. All right. That was the number one answer. That was very specific. And so Scott, you're off to get started. There are three answers on the board. Name something people use to for tell the future. Scott. Three answers left. A median. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's another fortune teller. Look at you. You're not even giving Chris a chance.
24I thought this was going to be a harder thing. You're bogarting it. Well, let's see. There's a couple left. We'll see if these could be very difficult. I would think the last one. Well, I think they both. We'll see. All right. Name something people use to for tell the future on the Malor militia feud. Go ahead there. Scott. You're perfect so far. I think they're in here. Okay. You're losing your confidence level. That's all right. You got the top answers. Let's see Chris. You want to give it a shot here. There's two answers left on the board. Name something people used to for tell the future. The top five. Yeah. That's on there. Absolutely. Good job by you. That's that's where it's always annoyed me the way it's spelled. It bothers me a great. A great deal. The way it's. Yeah. I don't. I don't. I feel like there should be a W in there. I don't. I don't like it anyway. There's one answer left. Chris. You're on your way to work. Name something people used to for tell the future.
26We've got crystal. Go ahead. People used to live their life. It's a daily horse show, isn't it? Oh, there you go. Look at that. That's the final answer. You got that one right. That's it. We're out of time. But Chris, thank you. Good job. You have the last couple. And obviously are the winner. We've got the top three answers on the board. We are our guys Scott in Kentucky. The Malar militia few. Always, always a study. I was going to say Logan Paul. He's Paul guys keep getting in the headlines. So over the weekend, he challenged a bunch of NFL players to fight for a million dollars. I thought he assumed that a bunch of guys wouldn't do it because it's against the NFL contract, the box. Well, a bunch of players did. He agreed to a fight with Levion Bell, the former NFL player. And then over the weekend claimed, well, I got a call from my bosses and it was of course recorded because everything's recorded.
31Logan Paul, his bosses contacted him. He's not allowed to fight. He cannot fight these guys because he's too important to the WWE. That just smells a little odd to me. That smells a little odd to me. And some on the internet are saying he staged the phone call. I can't believe that one of the Paul brothers would ever be accused of staging a phone call. Why would they do that? They would never do that. So now all these NFL players are upset because they thought they could make a quick million dollars. Of course, after taxes, it's about 300,000 or whatever it is. But they're like, oh, man, we'd be setting and then it turned out it was all just a total scam, a total hustle as it turned out to be.
