Have you noticed that? Come on. No, no, I'm serious. They're the official lawn care treatment provider the PJ Tour. So they know what it takes to get golf course quality lawns. So you're saying we could host a tournament up back? Yeah, I guess we can. Get your own golf course quality lawn at truegreen.com. True green.com, let the pros handle the lawn.

01Just don't be surprised when golfers show up. Now that the big game is over, does it mean the celebration needs to stop. After every show we had in San Francisco, I'd say the show is not over until you to hear that. And it was time for Miller time. Cheers to legendary moments with Miller like great taste, 96 calories. Go to Millerlike.com slash Patrick. You'll find delivery options near you. Or you can pick up some Miller like pretty much anywhere that they sell beer. It's Miller time. Celebrate responsibly Miller Brewing Company. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 96 calories. 3.2 carbs per 12 ounces. Ever wiped with a piece of dry toilet paper and wondered is this as good as it gets? Well, it isn't switched to life changing wet extra large flushable dude wipes. Because wetter means better available at Amazon or at major retailers nationwide. Dude wipes best clean hands down. You are listening to the Dan Patrick show on Fox Sports Radio. Final hour in this Wednesday.

02Well, that flew by quickly. Gangs all here. Fritzy Seaton, Mar polyers truly. And of course, the backroom guys as well. 8773DP show email address, dpadampatric.com, Twitter handle a DP show. Good morning. You're watching the program. Be careful if you're watching with children because apparently Marvin has been known to flip people off. He gave a double bird yesterday. And we're still feeling those repercussions. Yes, Morgan. I've learned from my mistakes. It won't happen again. Or Mario says something to me that just. You're guaranteeing that you will not flip off this audience again. I'm going to try my hardest guys. But as you said, all of those people who have been mean to me about my small hands. And don't you think it's ironic that I flip them off with my small hands? I go, no, I don't think it's ironic at all. I think it's wrong. It's a full circle moment. Yes, you can't. It's not the circle of wife.

02Just don't do that again. You flip people off. Scotty Sheffler, Rory McElroy. The PGA tours elite take on Bay Hill. It's the Arnold Palmer invitation presented by MasterCard, Saturday and Sunday to 30 Eastern on NBC. And Peacock. Coming up, we'll play the reclamation game. Which quarterback? Who is going to be this year's Sam Donald? We'll have that. We'll actually have a draft. Is that what you want to do that we'll do a snake draft? Yeah. Quick, two round snake draft. Okay. All right. 8773DP show operator Tyler sitting by. He'll take your phone calls. Our Kyler Murray poll questions today. Kind of dominated the first two hours. What are we going to go with the final hour of the program, Seaton? Well, I have a few other options here from topics we haven't really got to. One off of Todd's topic of a more legit TGL or LIV. Oh, wow. Well, I would say live is more legitimate than TGL.

02Is it though? Yeah, because now they're playing four rounds. I don't know if they're doing the music anymore. I do our shorts. Yeah, I don't know. I think they can still wear shorts. But, you know, I played at a country club where you have to wear long pants every single time you play. No matter what the temperature is, it'd be 95 and you got to wear long pants. I don't play it very often. In fact, I get invited, but I don't want to play because golf's hard enough. I don't want to be out there 95 degree weather with my long pants on. I need to show these legs, you know, that's going to be a distraction to the people that I'm playing with. They focus on that instead of their golf game. Yes, Todd. To a certain extent, it's already a snooty sport. You got to add, you got to wear pants even if it's 100 degrees on top of that. We get it. You're better than everyone else. It's golf. Also, when you go into the grill area, have to take off your hat. You have to have your shirt tail tucked in. Now, there are golf courses in America where you can basically not wear anything.

07It's all men's club and they don't care what you wear and don't wear. Although, I don't think I want to play golf where I'm not wearing anything. Yes. But the kiss of death, if you ever go to a golf course and see someone walking out with jeans on, that may be worse than anything. You cannot wear jeans whilst golfing. No, you can't. You cannot. No, no, no. But I've seen it before. Oh. Cutoffs. Yeah. Certain golf courses. But, yeah, the Bay Hill invitation. The Arnold Palmer is coming up this weekend on NBC and Peacock, which is where you can find this program. Download the app if you haven't done so. The poll question for the final hour, Satan, that you tell me and I forgot. Well, you kind of poophood the limb versus TGL. Oh, yeah, yeah. I'll put that up there anyway just to see. Okay. We also had another topic this morning that we haven't really gotten around to. Um, but it was controversial. Okay. The doughnut should be a breakfast food or dessert.

11It's breakfast. Why? You just get something quick. You start your morning, give you a little energy and you're on your way. Yeah, but couldn't it just be sort of universally loved throughout the day? Why is that? Why is the doughnut a breakfast food? It's more dessert-y than anything else you could think of. Well, you don't have dessert at lunch. And if you're going to have dessert dessert at dinner, it's not going to be a doughnut. Make dessert lunch again? Is that what we're saying? I would say your doughnut is your breakfast. It's just something quick. You don't have to have somebody whip up eggs and bacon. It's just like, yeah, grab a doughnut. What, Todd? A doughnut should not be breakfast. I understand that you know, you grab it and you think of dunking it or whatever and you get your coffee, whatever. But if a doughnut was shaped like a piece of chocolate cake, none of us would consider, oh, what are you having for breakfast, cake? So you're saying the shape of the doughnut is the reason why we don't embrace it as. I think a lot of people see a doughnut and we're so used to it being like a type of maybe a breakfast thing. But if the doughnut was shaped more like a dessert or it's made out of the same kind of ingredients as desserts.

12So it's kind of insane because it's shaped like a circle with a whole missing. All of a sudden, it's breakfast, but if it was shaped like a cake, it'd be like, what are you eating cake for breakfast for? Even if it was made out of his same exact ingredients, but not shaped like a circle. Slow down, take a look. This is arguably the best rant I've ever had on this show. Full support. Take a breath. Yes, Paul. A couple of things. If we were putting doughnuts in a lane, are they a breakfast item or a treat? I would say they're a breakfast item. I look back at the history of doughnuts, which I always have on my screen at the ready. It was more of a daytime treat to have with coffee and tea than a breakfast item back when it was originated. Yeah, but you're having coffee and tea in the morning and that could be breakfast. Early doughnuts were an all day treat. I'm not a doughnutter. Like, I'm not big on. We had doughnuts brought in yesterday and I'm like, eh, you know, yes, don't. I don't think you're going to the right doughnut. Yeah, I feel like if there's a crispy cream, there are some doughnut shops that are like there to take that real seriously.

15Smores doughnuts and apple fritter doughnuts. There's like 50 different types of doughnuts in some of these places. I remember when crispy cream opened up a store and people went crazy. Crazy. And I went, what are you doing? There were lines like miles long waiting to get into crispy cream to get a box of doughnuts. I know. Crazy. Yes. You know, it's saying they didn't say next to crispy cream. Come join us for breakfast and have some doughnuts. I'm pretty sure they don't say we're open six to ten a.m. for breakfast. There's no doughnuts. It's just crispy cream doughnuts. I got it. You fired up today, man, with your doughnuts. Yeah, I'm not big on. But if I'm going to grab, I have half a one, but then it drives poorly crazy because if I cut it in half, and then it'll be like, just take the whole thing. Take it with you. And I go, I don't want the whole thing, then I'll eat the whole thing. Any other questions, any other poll questions, any other thoughts before we get, well, I mentioned this yesterday. I come in and I say to Paul, I said, hey, I don't know if you know Charles Barkley's got an interesting job during March Madness.

22So I don't tell Paul. Go through the entire show. And Paul sends me an email and he goes, hey, by the way, Charles Barkley's going to be working with Dick by Tal. He's going to be doing one of the first four games on true TV. And I go, damn it. I was going to tell you that he was going to do this with Dickie V and Brian Anderson. So Charles is going to do a game with Dickie V and that'll be great. It'll be awesome, baby. True TV. That'll be that opening Tuesday of the NCAA tournament. Yes, Tom. Which is interesting because Dick by Tal always says everything is awesome. And Barkley always says everything is terrible, according to Frank Caliendo's impression. So you got awesome and terrible the dichotomy is fascinating. So Charles got a fun gig there. That'll be interesting to hear and do a game. And let me see. Is there anything else that needs to be mentioned? And we'll play the Reclamation Project game. So the idea is to choose the quarterback who will have the most success with the team that didn't draft him heading into next season.

23Okay. So that's a player who has already improved but can still have more of an upward trajectory. Now, Daniel Jones said to be a free agent or, well, ish. But I think he, I'm not going to put him in the game. Okay. Malik Willis. I'll put him in the game. Kyler Murray and Tuah. They'll be in the game. So Kyler Murray, Malik Willis. See, Mac Jones isn't available. But he could be. It could be. We'll put him in. Tuah, Anthony Richardson, Davis Mills, Spencer Ratler, Tanner McKee, who was in bad news bears, I think. No. No, he wasn't. Oh, sounds like. Not the same time. Actually, an NFL quarter. Joe Milton. I know who's taking a seat. I'm literally looking at Joe Milton right now to see where is he going to fall in this because I am taking him first. Okay. Alrighty.

23That's my guy. How about we use arm length? That'll be who goes first here. Yes, Paul. Is Aaron Rogers available in this draft? Is he a free agent? Yes, I think. I think he would be in this draft. All right. See, Reclamation Project worthy, though. I mean, yeah, I don't know if I'm going to, I'm going to rule no. I'm going to say no, that he is not a Reclamation Project. These other ones are. He's a squeeze one more year out of them projects. Yeah, that's all. That's just a farewell tour. Kyle Murray, Malik Willis, Mac Jones, Tuah, Anthony Richardson, Davis Mills, Spencer, Ratler, Tanner McKee, and he's the Eagles backup quarterback and Joe Milton. All right. We have to throw another one in there because there's five of us and we're going to have. So, can he pick it? Will Levis, Tray Lance, Zach Wilson.

24That's a two round draft. The shortest arms. Todd. Oh, let's see. Paul, you're first. Yeah, Paul, you go first. Man, I don't think they're going to let Mac Jones go. I have to go with Malik Willis as my number one draft. All right. Next on the list would be. Without a seat. It would be seat. What, four for four? I am taking Joseph Joe Milton because I love that dude. That brings us to the massively long armed fritzie. I'm going to take Tray Lance. Yeah. I think there's still something about him that we haven't heard the last of Tray Lance and his abilities under center. Hey. Yes, Paul. Is Russell Wilson on the board? If you want to put him on the board. Okay, just checking. You can get Zach Wilson, not Russell. Who would you rather have? Better Wilson. I'm going to take Kyler Murray Jr. III. Now the incredibly long armed Marvin Prince.

26Zach Wilson. Then it comes back to me. I am going to go with two at Tongue of ILO. Next up, Todd. If it's a snake draft, does Marvin pick twice? Oh. Whoops. Yeah, so sorry, Dan. You have to give that pick back. Okay, I give that pick back, Marvin. Oh, no, you can keep yours. Oh, you don't want to. Quite already. Wow. Okay. I'm going to go Spencer Ratland. Okay. Todd. I'm going to grab Anthony Richardson. Okay. Paul. I'm going to go with Gardner. Oh, no, it's Seaton. It's Seaton. I'm going to go with Gardner. Paul. Yes. Uh, I'll take Mac Jones. All right. We don't know if he's going to be available. We don't know if he's available. We don't know, but I'm that someone's going to be on him. You're betting on him. Yes. You're betting on him. Paul. How many go with Gardner Minshu with the Chiefs? Okay.

26Anybody interesting who didn't get selected? Davis Mills is pretty good. Will Levis? Yeah. Will Levis. Kenny Pickett. Sam Howell. Howell. Tanner McKee. No, they took Tanner again. No one did. Former Stanford quarterback. I mean, there's enough for one more round. No, no, no. I'm good. Yeah. I'm good. Who is going to be this year's Sam Darnold? Who is going to be this year's Sam Darnold? Who is going to be this year's Sam Darnold? My money is on none of them. Well, you would have to win the Super Bowl. Yeah. Right. Exactly. Yeah. And maybe that's not fair to say who's going to be this year's Sam Darnold because any of these guys going to be a Super Bowl winning quarterback in the answer would be. No. Hey, this year's Indiana, they did well. Yeah. Indiana was this year's Indiana. Yeah. Yeah. They crushed Sam Darnold. Sam Darnold's going to be this year's Sam Darnold. Yes, Marvin. I was only going off of Sam Darnold with the Vikings. Like, you know, he'll be a pro bowl player.

27Have a really good year. I wasn't thinking about winning the Super Bowl because if that's the case, I didn't want any part of this draft. Yeah, but that's the thing. You can't say it's the Sam Darnold Award because Sam won a Super Bowl. If this was Sam Darnold in Minnesota or Baker Mayfield in Tampa, then that would be different. But yeah, the Super Bowl attachment there, that's a pretty lofty goal. Scott, in Scottsdale. Hi, Scott. In Scottsdale. Hey, Dad. I'm doing well. Thank you. Regarding the Kyler Murray situation, I'm conflicted on one hand. It's time like Florida stated, when they entered that language into the contract, the ship sailed on him. He was gone. He got a big value at that point. Now we're left with nothing. And basically with Big Well being at the helm, we were the jet to the west at this point. I don't see anybody walking into this. It's good in terms of taxation. The money you save going to a higher price area is like New York, California, and such. But again, a really tough time to swing somebody unless you pay him a lot of money and with

30a hit they're taking, I don't know how you're going to do that. And that could really quickly. Did you talk about basketball camp yesterday or today's weather and Rick Berry yesterday? Not for nothing. My parents sent me to Rick Berry's coaching camp at Sonoma State when in the late 70s I was a kid. And I got booted about the fourth day because I wouldn't change the shirt I had onto one that represented his camp logo. And that didn't go over too well. You got kicked out of camp? Yeah. Well, what happens is at the end of the camp, he comes into the beginning and welcomes everybody in. And at the end he comes back and he takes a polaroid with you. Yeah, that's how old I am at this point. So I went to another camp earlier in the year called Santa Clara Coaching Camp. And I chose to wear that shirt. And they said, who is this kid? Where's this proper shirt? And I said, listen, my parents paid for this camp. I can wear it the hell I want. Now, obviously I was way over my head and should be no more respectful. But that didn't fly. Next thing I know is I was talking to myself.

32All right. Thank you, Scott. I think we got most of that. Yeah, Rick Berry. If you watch the documentary, eat tough. He was tough on everybody. But a great player and great player. All right, we'll take a break. More phone calls coming up. We're back after this, Dan Patrick show. Be sure to catch the live edition of the Dan Patrick show. It's only natural. You see these golfers mistaken the true green lawns for an actual golf course. Have you noticed that? Come on. No, no, I'm serious. Happens all the time. And, you know, they're the official lawn care treatment provider, the PJ tour. So they know what it takes to get golf course quality lawns. So you're saying we could host a tournament up back? No. I mean, we could make, yeah, I guess we can. If true greenstone all the work, no one makes it easier. They handle the treatments, the timing, everything.

35I feel like you see them everywhere. Yeah. Beautiful lawns. And you know, it's true green. America's number one lawn care company and chances are they're already in your neighborhood. I'll play, but I'm not mowing. I didn't think you were. Your wife will or your son. Get your own golf course quality lawn at true green dot com true green dot com. Let the pros handle the lawn. Just don't be surprised when golfers show up. Just because the big game is over, does it mean you can't have people over? And if you're having people over, it'll be Miller time. Still iconic 50 years later, the original light beer, by the way, 1975 and it's brewed for taste. Simply put, it just is different, Miller time. It's the right time. Easy time. Simple ingredients, melted barley for rich, balanced, toffee, note flavors and the iconic golden color. There's something about that after every show we had in San Francisco. I'd say the show is not over until you to hear that and it was time for Miller time.

37Miller light, the perfect beer to kick off a small hang or maybe you're going to hang with people after work, 96 calories, 3.2 carbs per 12 ounces. A great choice without weighing you down. You can get it pretty much anywhere that sells beer or go to millerlite.com slash Patrick to find delivery options. Miller time celebrate responsibly Miller brewing company Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 96 calories, 3.2 carbs per 12 ounces. A personal question, have you ever wiped with a piece of dry, single ply toilet paper and wondered is this as good as it gets? Well, it's not. It's a whole lot better. Thanks to the wet, extra large cleaning power of dude wipes, they comfortably clean up whatever toilet paper leaves behind. You can make the trade of the season switch from toilet paper and start experiencing the confident clean of dude wipes available at Amazon and at major retailers nationwide. Dude wipes best clean, pants down. Pretty cool moment last night, NBC and Peacock, they had a NBA throwback night, Doug Collins

40back. That was great. They had clips of previous broadcasters who worked for NBC, Hannah Storm, Pat Riley there, Bob Costas was there. They've had Marv. I mean, down through the years, Isaiah Thomas was there, but they're showing you all these clips, all the different incarnations of broadcast teams that they've had, but it was nice. And Bob Costas still brings it, man. He's still got his fastball. He's still, you see him and he reminds you that he did it at a different level. Yeah, pulling. It felt like throwback jerseys, but a basketball game, they used the old logos, the old graphics, the old music. Yeah. And it was very, very late 80s, 90s feel. I did mention, well, the dentists have asked me what I'm going to do with the man cave. And when they leave, can they each take something? And I said, no, because this is a museum. If you work at the Museum of Modern Art, you don't get to walk out with something.

41You don't get to work in the Louvre and walk out with something. Although I think some people at the Louvre did walk out with something, but no, I'm going to make it a museum, maybe set up a bread and breakfast here where you could come and spend the weekend and you could enjoy the man cave, play basketball, we could grill, you could sit behind the microphone, you could have your family out there. They could play the role of Dan Atts, you know, we could have some fun with this. Yes, Tom. No auction, put it on, put it on, put it on, put it on, put it on, put it on, put it on one of those guys, you know, and sold for the NBA pinball machine because 70 out of it. You don't want to do that? We got a little silent auction, maybe. Yeah, wish you were. I knew that was kind of, I walked right into that one, didn't I? Paulie said that somebody reached out, now, is this an offer to buy my man cave when I retire? I think the tires are being kicked, but this is a real person who works in the media slash collectibles industry and they said they'd be interesting buying the building, just handing over the keys, they get everything in it. So Darren Revelle. No names are involved.

42He's the only person who works in that industry, that's a one person industry. In negotiations, you try to protect people, right? So Darren Revelle, he runs collect, he's curious. He's going to be shocked at how dirty all of our chairs are, by the way. Yes. He didn't want the chairs. The chairs are disgusting. They are. They really are. We need a chair partner. Yeah, I think it's when, you know, we'd have a meat Friday and then nobody had a napkin so they just wipe stuff on their chair. You want to make a billion dollars tomorrow, make a napkin chair. Does everybody uses their chairs? Isn't that the case? A roll of paper towels connected to a chair. Right. Okay. So what's the offer, Paulie? This would be like if someone's buying the house and they want it furnished. They want the keys, all the production facilities, the cameras, everything down, all the lights, and all the memorabilia and they will decide what they'll do with the memorabilia. All right. Now you would have to come up with a number. Oh, no. I'm not negotiating. I want them to tell me what they'd pay. Oh, there you go. I'm not negotiating against myself. But it is a semi-real conversation.

44Well, there's a lot of really valuable items in here, but there's also a lot of items that aren't valuable at all and I'm looking at them right now. That's so mean. He even has a joke. I got to tell you. I'm upset with that. Are you still upset from yesterday? No. I'm a very sensitive type. He mentioned it a few times over the past weeks of that. It stung a little bit because it wasn't the first time of the time. It was unbelievable. It was unbelievably stealth by Satan because Satan's usually is your biggest proponent. I mean, he's your cheerleader. The worst part is you guys were talking about, like, you know, those songs as power ballads and I was so, but because I was in a crummy mood, I decided to lay out and I had opportunities to, like, sing a little bit and I just sat there and, see and thankfully, took the role of Ken and some of those songs. Can't you just laugh? Can't you just go? You're a guy who tries to make people laugh and you can be critical in your humor, but

47when somebody is critical to you, you can't laugh. That's very sad and immature. You would think it out for a 56-year-old man, you know, you can get over it a little bit. But we were talking, everybody's talking and then Todd brought it back to him and that's when Satan said, you know, you know, like, oh, it's been too long since the topic wasn't centered around. We were talking about Marvin too long, so Todd had to bring it back to focus. In and of itself, it wasn't horrible at all. It was very playful, but because there was like a theme I felt over the past several weeks, there was a few other mentions of like the Todd Fritz show and for whatever reason at that moment, I was like, I think I had enough of that and I'm going to speak pouty and sit quietly and I'm like, yeah, but you're not doing your job. I know. It's immature. It's unprofessional too, I guess. You know, I have friends who are funny people, but they're not, they can't laugh at themselves. And I'm always amazed at that, that they have a sense of humor towards other things and other people. They just don't have one with themselves.

47And you fall into that category. You know what? Let's be thankful. This is just a sports talk show. Imagine if I was a surgeon and I'm like, and all of a sudden, someone I hurt my feelings, one of the nerves, I'm leaving. No, we need you to finish this cranium, you've got to put the thing, no, I'm out. I'm out. I don't like what you said. Cranium. I mean, the middle of brain surgeon, I just walk out in the middle because I didn't appreciate what one of the physicians' assistants said to me. But you were sad. You were sad yesterday. I actually, I felt bad too. I was like, oh man, I really, I'm out of, I flew a little too close to the sun or whatever on that one. I was a little stung a little too much, maybe. Yeah. Even the big Germans said, do you think Cetan will apologize, and I go, I hope, I hope not. He did actually. Yeah. He apologizes and gave me a hug too. Man, I wouldn't have done that. I actually just sort of, I really, as I am sorry, I think, just forced them into the hug. I really didn't give him a chance. I really didn't reciprocate because I was in no mood. Yeah, he was. He was. He seemed to be a theme. He kept his arms down. Seems to be a little bit of a theme lately. Thankfully, there was a lot of meat sitting in the kitchen, so I, I, if I rallied and felt a lot better single, the different, but you quietly ate steak yesterday. We had two plates.

48I wouldn't say we had our sales team up here. We had a client up here and I said hi to the clients. I was respectful. You didn't say anything. I just wanted to quietly eat my meat, I had a can of lemonade, and then I had a second plate of meat, and I was finding my recorders. You were. What a baby. I know. Yeah, let's talk about all the fun things I did during the meeting, Dan. Do you see all the things that I did in the meeting? I thought I was really putting in the meat. Yes, Paul. It felt more real than normal. The back room reported back to me that Todd dipped towards the back room at one point and said, I'm staying back here. Okay. Scala one to ten. How much did that sting? I don't know if sting is the accurate word, but did what, what did it, how real, how real one to ten? I would say seven point two. Oh, no. I've been a lot more upset about things over the years than that. I mean, that's why you can't give it an eight or nine. Let's go through. Let's go through. Let's go through. Let's go through. Let's go through.

49I gave you. I gave you your own podcast, huh? That means I can never be sad or upset or anything like that. I just got to be happy as a pig and you know what? I love doing the podcast, but at that moment, you know, we all have feelings, and at that moment it bothered me a little bit. What am I supposed to pretend? Boy, it was a great line. Was it? It wasn't sure. It was accurate. It was. It was one of those that it was the truth. And I was surprised. Well, true. Yes. Yes. Yeah. That was true, TV. I did a great line. The first third of fifth time. That was brought up. Wow. That's what you have to kind of decide. That's what I got upset. Well, let's see how it goes seven through ten because they're coming. Yes. For sure. Yes. Grow up. You're totally right. The fake criticism doesn't hurt. If it's not based in reality, like you shake it off because it's not true. And then I thought team team building, the big German was going to take everybody out for lunch and it was going to be all you can eat sushi today.

50I've never heard of that. All you can eat sushi? Yes. Is it on a conveyor belt? I don't think that one is. Now I have done conveyor belt sushi. It just comes by and you're like, oh, it's all in a roll. Yes. And all that that you make, you eat more by the fact that it just comes by. You don't, you can order things, but they have the conveyor belt and you just go, oh, there's a tuna. I'll take that one. Yes, Todd. I think you're on the clock. They're like the NFL drift. It's all you can eat within like 15 minutes before the next person goes. That is not true. But the invitation has been extended to everybody. Backroom guys like to go to the all you can eat sushi. But if you guys would like to go, it's a team building. You don't have to have the all you can eat sushi. Maybe there's something else in the menu. I'm fighting everybody an hour before it kind of feels like an invitation. No, no, no, it's been in the works. I think there's an email. No, there is. There is. Okay. Email red is a mandatory meeting to me anyway. I didn't even know there was an option. I'm not going. But I got some free sushi. Did you RSVP? I did not RSVP because again, I read it as we'll see you there.

53We're going to go over some stuff. You are going in. You are going to build this team. Okay. I don't know who read that as. If you feel like joining us, come on and have some sushi. I did not read that. All right. You have the choice to not go. I'm planning on going. I was planning on going all along, but I will say that it was red like we're all going to meet here. Whether you like it or not, this is what you're doing after the show. That's how I read it. Richie and Wisconsin. Hi, Richie. What's on your mind? Hi, Dan. Thanks for taking my call. It's so funny just because I'm going to piggyback off the whole conversation that you just had. I listened to the podcast the other day and I got to say out of so many things that I loved about your show through the years. I now understand what you mean when you say cut it in half because between my wife and I and watching and listening to your show, like I said, for so many years, she said, they should just call him turbo. So it's turbo Todd Fritz. I just thought I'd share that and it's just it's great.

54I love what you guys do, but it's a great addition or add on to enhance the whole D.P. Show. All right. Well, thank you, Richie. But if we cut it in half the podcast, Todd cast would be about 22, 23 minutes. Yes. I like the turbo. I was just looking at seed and we were like turbo. That means a Kelly Ozone turbo and weren't that like the American gladiators or the breaking two. Remember those are those breaking movies? It was Kelly Ozone in turbo. They were doing the break dancer. The movie break in 1984. Mm-hmm. No, miss it. Yes, you do. I know. No, no, no. I missed it. There's no stopping us. No one does it better. You know what I'm talking about. The podcast is available at DanPatrick.com. When's your next one that you're going to do it today, but we have the mandatory sushi thing. So it can't be today. So it might be tomorrow. It could be next week. Wait for the next note from the big Germanist. I guess what you guys are doing in 1215. Wow. We will see you at Stratford or wherever we're doing it from some restaurant.

55All you can eat sushi. That's right. Had me a hello on that one. Yes, he. I don't know if there's a bad time to do this, but I will at best be late to the mandatory sushi meeting. At best. At best, I will be very late, which or AKA might not make it because this is team building. It is team building. Yes. But I have a meeting that I am supposed to have yesterday that I had to push off because we had another mandatory meeting yesterday, and now I have to do this one today. Hey. How about to go sushi, David? I know. You know, I'm going to try to make it there ASAP, but it's definitely not at the required 1215. I think it's 1230. Is it 1230? Yeah. Okay. Yes, Mark. What's with all the new mandatory meetings? Are we trying to be like a real play? Yes. Like a real work? Yes. Yes. Yes.

56Now? Yes. What? We're going to start being a real business. Two years to go. Man. I said to the big German, I'm going to leave it up to you. I need you to run this place. I'm too tired. So now he's got meetings and he's got, you know, big billboards here with all the stuff that we're doing and he's got everything. I think he's going to do a time clock. I think he's in an out parking spot. Swipe cards. Yes. Yes, Marvin. Are we going to have like a real HR now? Oh, God no. That's not good. That quiz. Well, probably closer to it. Yeah, than ever. I was HR. Yeah, that's awful. Yeah. And you're retiring. Yeah. So yes, the big German is probably HR. He's got a title. I mean, I don't know what the title is, but he's kind of running the whole place here. And he's taking care of the backroom guys. Everybody got to answer to the big German. You got to come in. You got to say hello every morning.

56Yes, Todd. Not a little bit of a power trip like the justifier title guy. No one likes to justify your title guy. I'm going to have a meeting just to say I had a meeting. I got to do something. I guess I'm supposed to charge the answer. I must have to ask if we have that mandatory meeting. Eric and Tucson. Hi, Eric. What's on your mind? Good morning, Dan. Hey, I'm looking for a judgment from the sports judge if you are willing to offer one this morning. Yes, sir. So our ballroom discussion, rather not ballroom. The backup quarterback starting quarterback dynamic of a right-handed versus left-handed quarterback. And I'm going to go to Atlanta, Michael Penix, and two of being a natural fit because of the way that offenses are set up and how important it is. I contend it is very important, but he's contend it's really no big deal because they're professionals. However, my point is that all of a sudden your blindside tackle with a left-handed quarterback

59is your right tackle. Your blindside tackle with a right-handed quarterback is your left tackle. You have a backup that is opposite-handed, all of a sudden your entire offense flips. I think there's validity in that, absolutely, Eric. Does that mean Atlanta is going to bring in two so they can keep with the left-handed theme? Maybe. Yeah, Paul. There was an article quite a few years ago in the athletic that said, some offense coordinators leaned against having a left-handed quarterback on the roster for just those reasons. Now, if you're a star, if you're Steve Young, you know, people will turn the other cheek. Yeah. Let's see. Anything else that needs to be mentioned here? We take a break here. All right. Take a break. Last call for phone calls, what we learned, what's in store tomorrow, and we're back after this. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. 40:05It is, this is sort of like our OTAs. It's not mandatory, but you should show up and it's all you can eat sushi and he's not thrilled with you, Todd. He's not. Yeah, he's only been on the job for a couple of days with his new title and he said, right? Well, when we do Todd's review, yearly review, don't you hate sentient people that get upset over the littleest thing? They can't stand being around that. And Satan said that a sharp member of the audience did point out that Marvin is concerned about HR, now that he's flipped off with the camera. But did you do this before the big German took over as the guy in charge of the man cave? He's now HR. I think it's just a happy coincidence. Yeah, well, we're not maybe not happy, but it might come up at the team building on you can eat sushi just letting you know. He's got an agenda, he's got, he's got like a PowerPoint that'll be coming up, nothing

12like a, it's not mandatory, but please show up. Tommy and Madison, my Tommy, what's on your mind? Hey, Dan, I just wanted to share a morning Marvin bird to everyone out there. And the mandatory meeting today, I'm sorry to say, I won't be able to make it. They are handing out pink slips, but I'm not going to be able to make, I know it's mandatory. I'm going to be working on my mandatory sushi t-shirt instead. So good luck today, guys. Thank you, Tommy. Seaton, final results of the poll question. Dude, there are many, many more questions. A lot of Kyler Murray poll questions, as a matter of fact, let's run through them, shall we? Okay. What kind of quarterback is Kyler Murray? Good, very good average stay away. Right now, average has about 53% of that vote followed by stay away. Those are the two big vote getters. From Marvin, the player you wish you had that had done more with their talent, Michael Vic running away with that one, whose best years are still ahead of them Kyler or Tua. Kyler's got 75% of that vote.

12There might be a few more in there that I'm just not seeing right now. This date? That was Kyler starting quarter back in the NFL, 53% say yes. This day in sports history, 1913, Dan, the New York Yankees travel to Bermuda for spring training. First team to leave the country, the US, to train, 1993 ESPN formed the V Foundation with Jimmy Valvano and in 1993, same day in New York, the very first SB awards were held. Were you at that one? Yes. 93? Yes. Yeah. Did Michael Jordan win the SB that year? No, that was the following year. I think Jordan won that. Okay. First one, New York 93 with Jimmy V speech was dormant Donald hosting. That was a couple years later was Dennis Miller hosting. Is that right? Dennis Miller was the host of that. I had a lot of fun. And once again, when we were like, we're going to hand out our own awards.

14And I go, let's not do this. And there were times when we couldn't get players, coaches to show up. And then you had to entice them to show up. Like you can't hand out an award. And then that person, and then the person who finished second, not showing up. And then it felt like who's showing up, all right, you get an SB. It was just a little disorganized to begin with because we didn't really know what we're not in the business of an award show. But Jimmy V speech, and, you know, there's not a dry eye in the house. When he did that, and you're just kind of sitting there, and he was unbelievable that night. Yeah. If it's just, and they were trying to wrap him up, they were like, all right, okay. Like that's where somebody's not listening to what Jimmy V is saying. They're like, all right, time wise, come on, let's, come on, wrap it up here. And then Jimmy V even in Italian says something, oh yeah, you want me to wrap it up? You know, but wow, that's, I've been around a lot of great moments, important moments,

23but you talk about a powerful moment. That is really, really high on the list because he's dying. He knows he's dying. But he wanted to make sure that he got his message out. It's just like Stuart Scott did at the SB's, Craig Sager did at the SB's. Stuart knew he was dying. But like in your mind, you're not accepting that, but he knew he was dying. He just didn't want to present himself as somebody who was dying. And Jimmy V the same way. And that speech that will live on, hopefully one day, we don't have to play it because we've cured cancer. But in not in my lifetime, we'll be hearing Jimmy V and it's a speech that resonates and people react to it. And it's still great to hear. We're very fortunate to have had that. Let's see, Rich and Ohio. Hi Rich, what's on your mind today? Oh yeah, Dan, I just had a real quick cut question and a request.

27Is there any chance you guys could record the mandatory meeting today? Hmm. Well, the big German is human resources, so he would have to approve. And then we'd have to get all you can eat sushi manager to sign off on this. But I don't think we could do it live, but maybe we could show who is in attendance, where they sit, maybe get like a feel of the team building lunch. I'll bring that up. We got to work on these phone calls because I don't think it's the callers. It's popping and cracking in there a little bit, Marvin. Can you get some of your best people looking into it? I don't know about my best, but I'll get people in here working on it. How about you bring it up at the team building meeting? Now I'm the agenda. Who do we blame for the phone calls? First Tyler? Tyler? Maybe? I don't know, but I can hear some, you know, there's some crackle in there that hasn't been

28there. Curt and Florida. I kind of wish that we all acted like we didn't hear it though. Curt? What are you talking about, Dan? It sounds fine. Curt and Florida. Hi, Curt. What's on your mind? Hi, Dan. Thanks for taking my call. I had a fantastic idea, I think, for you to finally get your sports Emmy. And you guys brought up the I did a ride a couple of months ago. I heard you talking about Jesse Holmes winning the race. But if you could cover the I did a ride, not this year because it starts this Saturday and there's no way you could prepare. But next year, I think that would put you over the top. It's such a great story. The dogs are absolutely amazing and they love to do this, which is what most people don't realize or can't even comprehend really.

28Well, I'd need a second source on that if the dogs are really that happy. We can't do it this year. Who's up for the I did a ride next year? 2027? Heck yeah, dude. I know Paulie is. Fritzie? What if I make it about me once in a while and copy I did a Todd and I'm the one that raises the dogs and you guys all wave to me and I look, it's Todd's show, he's raising the dogs. We actually should do some type of thing with Todd and dogs called the I did a Todd and see how that goes. I'm afraid of most dogs. I know you won't. Exactly. And cold weather. I have some fears. Yeah. Maybe we sent somebody next year to the I did a run. That is not going to put us over the top with the sports Emmy. If I'm voting, I'd be like, how desperate are these guys to win a sports Emmy? Let's go around the room see if we learn anything on the program. Todd? Yeah, Mike Florial points out the Cardinal sort of traded Kyler before feeling compelled

28to include a stupid ass study clause in his contract. Seaton, we have a human resources department. Yes, it's called the big German. Oh boy, he's called the big German. Marvin, you might turn the studio into a bed and breakfast. Yes. Paul Miami, Ohio, Todd, what did I learn when a clause has to be put in your contract to study more? Kyler, Murray puts your desire to be great into question. Oh, have a great day, everybody. We'll talk about the team building. Oh, you can eat sushi tomorrow. Even never having to buy gas again. It's true. It's real. And it's here right now. EVs are as easy the charge as your phone and they're perfect for everyday life.
