What are the Raiders doing?
Seriously. What's the plan here? Also did the Ravens just get fleeced? Or are they the ones doing the fleecing and getting Max Crosby for all those draft picks? Some of the draft necks? Oh, I can't believe they give up that much draft capital. So, why are the Raiders celebrating the $120 million in cap space? We'll explain why that is nothing to celebrate. And why if you're celebrating that, you're clueless. We'll get to that as well. Right now, we are ahead of schedule. Don't forget, fifth-hour podcast, fifth-hour podcast. It's the bomb.com. Check it out. We're ever going to get your podcast. And in addition to this podcast here, it's our number three. Crab cakes all day. And then some, welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Bed Mallor Show. We are in the air everywhere spicing things up
at an unholy hour. As we know, the stars are calling us unless they're not. Coast to coast, border to border and beyond on the vast, and majestically powerful microphones of FSR emanating live from the song. As we sing for our supper from the world famous Fox Sports Radio Studios, as approved by Skip DeZip, the roast master general, who reminds us that this hour made possible by our friends at Tyraq. So, I'll leave this hour from Webowl Las Vegas, as the Raiders did the thing they shouldn't have done at the time they shouldn't have done it. I assume you know by now, but we, we were away from our post and the watch tower over the weekend. We stepped away from that. Now, I was going to do a monologue about this on the podcast, the fifth hour podcast. I thought, you know, let's save it. I was going on a Saturday one, and I was like, I'll save it for the radio show. So, here we are. The Raiders said, bye-bye to Mad Max. That's Max with two X's.
We learned earlier in the show that Max Crosby was so big as a child that they had to break his collarbone during birth because he didn't fit through the birth canal and he's allergic to peanuts. That being said, I assume you saw by now Las Vegas sending defensive end, Max Crosby to the Ravens in exchange for two first round drive picks and some other goodies mixed in there. But that's a good jumping-all point. Let us discuss the question. Baltimore, they made the move. They shot their shot. They get Max Crosby from the silver and black wall. The team in Vegas gets some scratcher tickets. So, what are the Raiders doing? Seriously, what is the plan here? Like, what are they doing? So, I've got Mystery Box, Mickey D's, and World Pool Refrigerator. And we will combine all of these things together and we are going to move at breakneck speed. It's what we're going to do. Breakneck, we're going to literally breaknecks.
That's how fast we're going to go. But we start out just inch by inch. So, first of all, this is not that difficult to decode. It's not that difficult to decode here. I'll do it for you. The Raider's strategy right now is the same strategy of the guy at the casino who's got $50, not $51, not $52, $50 left in his pocket to his name. He goes into the table with the roulette wheel. He sits down at the table and he's got opera. You can bet odd even. You can bet red or black. And this guy says, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to bet all my money. All the money I have left, I'm going to put it all on green. The sucker bet. The odds of hitting green in the roulette wheel are 2.6% on American roulette. 2.6% it's a long shot. That's the blueprint for the team that is in the Las Vegas area. They're pulling the rebuild card
from the bottom of the deck. And it's the oldest grift in sports. And you can always put it off your sell and hope. You sell that tomorrow is going to be better because tomorrow is a mystery box and fans will always buy the mystery box. It's very bizarre. There's this glitch that so many people have. And I had the same glitch when I was younger. And at some point, I think it was after the seventh or eighth consecutive draft, the LA Clippers, who had a top 10 pick drafted some turd. And then I realized what a hustle this was in all sports. Right? In all sports. Because the odds of getting it right are about 3%. Right? More likely you're going to draft someone who plays like your armpit smells after you've been working out for a couple of hours. If you know what I'm saying. All right. So yeah, you can sell it. And I was like, oh, it's it's hope. And fans always buy the mystery box. The false hope. Don't worry.
We've got extra picks. We. We got extra picks. Please. Means nothing. This is the same franchise. I remember that we had the same exact thing. And it wasn't that long ago. Within the last decade. The Raiders had two first round picks. And y'all told me, oh my god. The Raiders are set. Oh man. It's going to be so good for the Raiders. So they drafted Henry Ruggs and Damon Arnet. That was the double feature of disaster for the Raiders. Now Ruggs is currently in jail in Nevada. He was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison. He killed the woman drunk driving. And her dog, they burned up in a crash on the streets of Las Vegas. Arnet was arrested after his time with the Raiders on gun and meth charges. Hello. But those were the Raiders first round draft picks. Yes. And I said, well, Betty, that was a different regime.
It's clear. It's different now. Okay. What exactly is Tom Brady done as the de facto GM of the Raiders to give you any level of confidence? He's running the show. He's running show. He hired his college buddy as a sock puppet. And he's on the Marinette there playing the puppets in this puppet show and all that. So Tom Brady is in charge. And if you look at this, it's a different name, but it's the same circus. And they might as well just play their games in the the mezzanine there at circus circus. It's the new ringmaster. Oh, I got seven Super Bowl rings. Okay. Yeah. Also signed off on Geno Smith, two wins for 58 million. Pete Carroll brought him in, fired after one season. And El Stinco. El Stinco. You're messing with the football guys. Now second. On the Baltimore side, the question. And I got to bring this up because I saw some people. Oh, my God. The Raiders. What are they doing?
Do they do that? You're messing with the football gods? Question. Did the Ravens get fleeced because they gave up multiple draft picks? Or are they the ones doing the fleecing and getting Max Crosby? So the very premise I'm offended by it, did Baltimore get fleeced? Hell no. Stop it. The Ravens are the ones in this chapter of the book that did the fleecing. And this is F them picks. We're like McDonald's on this one. I'm loving it. Mickey D's. I'm loving it. The Raiders traded. A BMW with relative low mileage for a couple of tickets that you might win the lottery on. Max Crosby. Not just some little nice piece. No, no, no. This guy is a supernova on defense. Get your double figure sacks. Bunch of tackles for loss. He'll play as much as his body will allow.
Run his body into the ground. He's an Ironman. And just what the team needed here, the Ravens defense had been leaking oil. They finished eight teams in points allowed, which is amazing considering how they started. 24th in yardage. And that is not your daddy's classic Baltimore Ravens football. The team's been around for a generation. They've always had pretty good defensive teams. That is more like the Bengals or the jets. So Crosby, Max Crosby fixes that overnight. You now have a center of the wagon wheel. And that's Max Crosby. You drop him in that defense. And suddenly everyone gets a little bit better. Quarterbacks are hearing footsteps. And it's like the haunted mansion or something like that. And again, the raiders for the raiders. It's the whammy. And we've been saying this and yelling from the bully pulpit here that rebuilds are like diet plans.
Everyone loves to announce their diet plan. And nobody finishes them. Nobody finishes them. By the way, I'm going on it. It's like you get on on the stage in the middle of town square. I'm going on a diet. It's like, okay. You don't need to announce it. It's like I was able to lose a lot of weight years ago. And I went on a diet. But I didn't tell anyone I was going on a diet. It just did it. And that's it. And that's how you're supposed to do these. But the raiders are like, oh, this is going to be great. And all this, all the draft nerds are all horny because of these picks. And the rebuild and all that. The raiders tanked this past year. It's embarrassed. She never did it. Never did that. They did it. They did it for a guy who's got fourth round ability. The quarterback Mendoza from Indiana. They tanked for a guy that's a fourth round talent. And they're going to have to take him because they need a quarterback. And that's how that's going to go. And they gave up. And this one, they gave up a proven elite game record. In his prime for the opportunity to kiss some frogs.
So that means for Baltimore winner winner. Crab cake dinner for the Ravens. All right. Now, final thought. So after trading Max Crosby. Las Vegas, I saw this as well. This really got me worked up into a ladder. So Las Vegas is slated to have $120 million in salary cap space. They are secretariat in terms of salary cap space here. Most in the NFL. In fact, they are like $25 million ahead of any other team in terms of spending capital. They have more money to spend. They can buy every free agent they want. Whether they've got brains and brawn or none of the above. Whether they're built like a tank or a bicycle. They can get them all. So that's fine. But is that something to celebrate? That's good jumping off point. So the question. Why are the Raiders? And I don't know so much the Raiders.
The people that are around the Raiders. Celebrating $120 million in cap space. So my theory on this one. The fanboys get all tingling over this kind of stuff. And I just roll my eyes. You never ever want to be the team with the $120 million in cap space. All roads lead to heartache. This is not some kind of bold strategy cotton. It's not. This is poverty disguised in planning. Your franchise cornerstone asked out. The man that was born to be a Raider. Right out of central casting in Hollywood. Hurray for Hollywood. And the Raiders. F that up because of Tom Brady's buddy, Alex Guerrero. They screwed up the relationship with Max Crosby. And the guy born to be a Raider. Who by all accounts loved being a Raider. Asked out and you granted his wish. You said, okay.
And now your fanbase has this. It's very bizarre that there's a plotting a bank account instead of a roster. I just don't understand. Maybe you can explain it to me. I don't get it. Cap space is the sports equivalent of an empty world pool refrigerator. You're starving. You're thirsty. You want food. You have nothing in your world pool refrigerator. And you say, well, look how much room I have for groceries. Oh, by the way. Yeah. You have all that room. You have nothing in there right now. Whoop, D, damn, dude. Whoop, D, damn, dude. Free agency is the NFL's version of the scratch and dent aisle. 99% of great players never get to free agency. They don't. They're tagged. They're extended. They're locked away like family heirlooms.
That is 99%. The players that get the free agency are usually older players, injured players, players that have been inconsistent players that have not been able to live up to their talent level. There were hydropics players that maybe had one good year and haven't been proven to do it over and over again. Those are the players that are available. Those are the players that you're trying to get with your $120 million. And I keep going back to the fact that the Raiders are selling a jumbo-sized bag of hope. Pure unadulterated false hope. And I'm sure the Raiders are going to fix everything that is wrong with their team. Hot, dignity dog in free agency. Because that's how this always works. Everyone that's got a lot of room. They do it. And it's the classic NFL spin. We're not bad. No, no, no. We're very flexible. We've got draft picks. And we have salary capsules.
The reason you have not one single player on that team worth the price of admission on the Raiders. They all blow. All of them. They all suck. Okay. And the one guy. The one guy that was established as the end all be all. Yes, screwed that up and he won it out. And that's on you. That's on you. That's the Raiders. That's the new Raiders right there. It's embarrassing. Well, this is the Ben Mallor Show. If you would like to be part, you can join us right now. Don't have to. We're fine. But we have a line open. Love to hear some new people. 877. Coming up here momentarily. The riddle of the day will be coming your way, which is very exciting. You're not excited about that. You should be excited about that job, but if you're not excited about that. Meanwhile, something else I was going to say. Oh, my God. We don't do shout outs. We do not do shout outs on the show. So I cannot say that we have a listener on a yacht. And I say, yeah, I'm talking about those giant cruise ships in somewhere listening on a balcony near Belize right now. It's streaming the show on the I Heart Radio app. And it's lovely. Yeah. Yeah. You think I can broadcast from the cruise ship somewhere? I don't actually just look that up.
Yeah. No. No, if you have that satellite Elon Musk, that satellite thing, I think you can pull it off. Yeah, it's expensive. I was really looking into detail on it. It says that besides the boat's main internet, you're kind of out of luck. No. It's not strong enough to support because you need like a cable to get that right. Well, you need to be plugged into a, like the main source of the internet. Yeah, they don't have that on the boats. Okay. Disappointing. Disappointing. Yeah. Disappointing. I'm not like you. You hang out with big shots, right? They're in here. Big shot person hanging out with big, big Disney people and all that. Yeah. Sometimes. Yeah. What was that? What was the thing you're at? I was at club 33. That's like the big private Disney club, right? Yeah. You have to be on like a 20 million year wait list and spend $30,000 to be a member.
Did you spend $30,000 to become a member? Did you? No, I just have another friend who works at another station at a series as XM and their listeners. No people. I don't know. Lorraine, did you look into the Starlink on this? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Cool. I think Starlink. It says, it says you can use Starlink to broadcast to the internet from the middle of the ocean, provided you have Starlink Maritime or Rome with ocean mode. Provide. Maritime. Yeah. High speed, low latency internet, making an ideal for live streaming or connecting to radio, investing software while far from land. Ooh. Yeah. So I'll just get, well, I'll get a van first and then I'll drive around and I'll just do the show from wherever. And then after that, I'll get bored and then I'll get Maritime things from Elon and I'll go on the boat and I'll say, see, I'll be speed out somewhere in the Pacific or the Atlantic and, you know, all the world's problems. I don't care. I'm on a boat. Somewhere out in the middle of nowhere. Benny on the boat. See, there you go.
I got the marketing. I get the captain's hat in the whole thing. It's a, you know, Pirate's life for me. Sheeramy Timbers. You know, that whole thing. All right. Was the food any good, Lorena? That thing? Good food? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But you're more there for the experience. I was thinking about the food too. I'm like, it is delicious, but. And by the way, my guy sports with Coleman just said he's on the boat and he is using Starlink on the boat. Oh, look at that. He is. They do have that. The food was okay. I'm not that great. It was. Did you. Smooth with any famous people? No, I didn't see anyone famous and. Yeah. Between the food and the gifts that you can only buy when you're in club 33 and my wallet hurts. So they don't give you a discount because you're spending $30,000 to get in there. They don't. No discount. No. Yeah. I watched the documentary a couple years back about Walt Disney and his whole plan for Disneyland. And it's like, as soon as he croaked, they just said, let's get, let's suck as much money out of these people. We possibly can. Yeah. And they've been doing it ever since.
No shame. They waited. At least they waited until he dropped dead. And then they, although some people think he's just on ice somewhere. Walt, then he's going to come back 200 years from now and body slam everybody. Time to pay off the Malor riddle of the day. Here is the Malor riddle of the day. Turned boxer Logan Paul purchased blank for $635,000 back in 2021. Today it's worth less than $200. My God. All right. The lady sideburn says a Princess Diana beanie baby is the answer. And who's your bill for some reason said I'm drinking a peanut collada on Mars. Lock it up in a complete series of Dawson Creek on DVD. That is from Rob the goat man. What else do we see page down here? Femi got it right. Obviously cheating. His fancy boat from Scrooge. Who else do we have far out Dave and Ohio says customized circular jug water.
Chili. Cumberland cone cricket. Something. Yeah. All right. What else? Boogie said Tyler Murray's rookie card. I wouldn't even put it on the spoke of my bike. Well said. Bobby in Florida says the Connecticut school of broadcasting. Connecticut school of broadcasting. And who else do I see page then collection of emotional support pickle plushies. From King Roy. That's disgusting. Who else do I page then? I can read that on the air. James Rookie card from Miguel on fire. Weird Owl, Yankevic, Funko Pop from Donkey Sausage. Have a Ben Mallor Funko Pop got a year's ago. I like the Sausage. That was a pretty cool the Funko Pop things. What else do we have? Let's see your Pokemon card from Andy and Lionel Lakes. Who else do we have? Page Dan. Monkey Biz
Doug says he bought a time share in blank. I don't know. I assume that's probably some time in Iraq. I would think. What else do we have? Let's see. Page Dan. Can't read that. Elvis Plate from courtesy Flusher. A Tua Tungo by Loa blah blah blah. Bobblehead from Rebecca the Ram fan. Nashville Phil says the answer is he bought Eddie's half eaten pickle dipped in ranch. A blackstone grill from JT The Wingman. Who else do we have? Ted the Bears pink strap on. Wow. All right. That's Scotty. What else? A roll tie. That's from Harrison. All right. Can't read that on the air. Mike the leprechaun said King Tuts face mesh. All right. The rate. Do you have an answer? YouTuber turned boxer Logan Paul purchased blank for $635,000 in 2021. Today, it's worth about $200. A little less. One of those stupid eight NFT paintings. Well, the answer is an NFT painting over the
bit. How did this guy paid $635,000 in 2021. Today, it's worth that as of a few hours ago, it was worth like $155. Idiots. So many people bought those. Yeah. That's one I got right. Now, I screwed up the Bitcoin thing and I'll be poor probably rest of my life because of that or relatively poor because I had a chance to buy Bitcoin and I had not poor Ben just locking money. Well, yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Well, it keeps me real. It keeps me grounded. It keeps me grounded. And yeah, yeah, some relatives who were getting in on Bitcoin early and they're trying to sell me on Bitcoin. They're like, oh, yeah, we can get you. You know, Bitcoin is great. And I'll send you chips and salsa to Mexican restaurant. And I said, that's a scam. That's a hustle. I'm not getting in on that. And I got that. I got that one wrong. But this was the NFT thing. People were trying to get me to buy NFTs. And I said, no, not doing it. That was the old pump and dump. They pumped them up dumped them. And then that's it. There you go. All right. Let's take some calls here coming up in a little
bit. We do have the Insta advice line unscreened radio. That'll be coming up in a few minutes. Let's say hello to blind Scott who took part in the octagon last week. It did not go his way as they went to Lucky Tony. Hello, blind Scott. Welcome. Oh, yeah. I'm addicted to cosmetic surgery. I don't like to leave my apartment where I can't use my own bathroom. So I've been approached by a couple of artists, charities that are interested in giving me some creator money because I've done been doing these dancing videos that are really taken off like during the show. So the way I look at it, I interviewed for Love on the Spectrum. And in Boston, I've been mistaken as one of the people from Love on the Spectrum. So like I can't take a $50,000 payment. So I'm trying to document a lot what's going on the show now. So I'm looking at the learning channel. Or like I thought how it's turned my finger, but that's too small of an eye. And so I want them to pay Ben the money to do a documentary on some of his collars that has been made me do all this stuff. Like
I got 500 stitches in the past six years. And Ben Malin made me do a lot of that stuff on. No, I did not. No, that is incorrect. I did not make you anything. By the way, we have breaking news. Lorraine, a breaking news here. Lorraine, hit that breaking news. There's big breaking news. This is breaking news here. This is a tremendous news here. Very proud. And we're waiting for the big official breaking news here. It's here somewhere on one of these boards. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, one of those boats. Oh, I found it. It caught Ben. There we go. Breaking news from Fox boards. Like a proud father currently trending on X hashtag Malar Rittle is currently trending in the United States. Oh, Jeff, I have a verified, I have a verified account. Like it helped do that to your audience. Crushes me so much. And I have monetized social media now. So I'd appreciate it if they don't do that. I have over 30,000 followers. I'm getting a lot of attention on the show. I don't mind if y'all make fun of me. No, no, Scott, this is not about you're making this all about you. The show has, we're a little overnight show.
We're a trending topic in the United States. The Malar Rittle is a trending topic. I'm the biggest star on the show right now, because I'm so controversial on Ben's giving me this audience. So I'm seen as anti-establishment. And Ben has made me famous because his broad casting voice goes good next to mine. So when I went on in New York City on WFN, it gave Ben a lot of attention because people miss Ben. So that's when I realized that me and Ben have a big opportunity here. Because Justin Cooper does not have the gift of gap. He might be a bigger star than us, but his voice is not relevant on the radio because he just doesn't push it because he's producing the show. He's taping the podcast. But if Lorraine wants an Instagram contract, she could go live on Instagram during the show. When I think they pay her $100,000 by Memorial Day, if she just stream live during the show, because we're real popular. Lorraine, would you do that for $100,000, Lorraine? Easily. They could wash me with my snacks. Well, here's the thing. We're very popular in Iran. In Iran, once this war is over, they like looking at people like me and Lorraine, very beautiful people on in the overnight.
Well, wait a minute. I'm a beautiful person. I don't, I'm very attractive. We like you to my post and talk about Ben on the Reddit page before the show, how beautiful he was at. I'm a little scared. I'm getting emails, Scott, about the Reddit page. I'm a little concerned what's going on over there. I'm a little concerned, Scott. I don't, I have not checked out the Reddit page in some time. Oh, yeah, my mom told me to tell you she's not supportive of me and anything I'm doing with my life and that she gets one. I want, you know what, I want to hang out with your mom, you know, and your dad, I want to hang out with her. You know, I feel like I can patch things up. I can patch things up with your family. I'm not allowed in my family. Last time I was at my family's house, I ripped all their shrubs out and I went away in handcuffs and I have been back for seven years and I've been hanging Ben's been helping me out and he blocked my emails in October. And you know, well, why did I block, why did I block your emails in October? What, what led to that block? What did you do? I was being too dark. I was being too dark. I mean, I don't want to say too much because I emailed Fred a lot and I approved by Fred giving me the huge inspiration and he's about ready to block my emails right now. I sent a committee over
the weekend. So this is bad timing for this conversation. By the way, but I threatened Ben's life for email and I and I regret that I did do it, but I'm so upset with my isolation periods I have in my life and I'm not seen in society. But I had nothing to do with that, those guys. I had nothing to do with that, right? I was just, yeah. There's a thing yet that's why I have no friends or family and I'm calling into your show, well, no, I'm calling to Sean the overnight. It's so much fun actually. It's like the month. Like this is so much fun doing this. Like it's too bad. It's like, Gunner, Gunner writes and he says, just hang up on blind Scotty. So annoying. That's from Gunner and minister. If he could get a work in phone, he would call, you know, be this way up in North Minnesota and he works at some store. He's a great guy. He works at Walmart. Oh, he's a great, you get along with him. Why? Yeah, we can get him on the Ben Malor love on the spectrum show. He can date someone. We can get six of us on a documentary like on that. Do we lead all the radio and people on the spectrum? Should we promote that? I can't, we should lead it. We are, you know, all the shows,
they have people that run Fortune 500 companies. We lead with people on the spectrum. I'm trying to talk, Scott, you just ruined it. That was a promo. You just have to up the promo. Bad job by you. You got to be kicked off every station, man. This is the only show that we'll put me on. I mean, not because I'll put anyone on. Look at the people I put on. There's no standard. I put anyone on or they criticize you for putting me on. They said they don't know why you're putting me on. It's bad. I agree with them. By the way, I agree. That's legitimate criticism. Why do I put you on? Give me two reasons why I put you on. Why do I keep putting you on? You fret in my life multiple times. Who's your bill? Who's your bill? Right. Since it's blind, Scott is rude. I sent him a birthday card and he never replied. And there you go. Who's your bill? I used to visit these truck drivers on the truck stops for Ben. I'd met more friends. I, so there was a kid that I was friends with. He was like 13 and I was 30 in his parents or, or cops. So we, we engaged Jake from Glendora and his dad like met him. Oh, whatever happened to Jake. What ever happened to Jake
from Glendora? I don't know. We blew me off. I went out and met him at a truck stop for God's sake. All right. Those are all out of context. I used to bring him in the studio and everything. I'd went to dinner with his dad. Well, Jake was a young, he was a young dude. I don't know. He was seen high school junior college or something like that. His uncle, his uncle, his dad was a cop and lived in the same town as them. We talked about Ben. All right. So it smokes a lot. It says blind, Scott, please hang up on yourself. That's from Sir Smokes a lot. He would like you to hang up. Yes. If we get to bed, if we, if you do this, oh, here, me, you Tom Looney, me, Benny versus the penny, I have over 30,000 followers on Instagram. Okay. I got to go. But thank you. All right. It's not you. It's you. It's definitely not you, but it's you. Okay. That one very well. We are moments away from the Insta advice line, unscreened radio, unscreened radio. But good job
by you guys getting us trending on the X machine there. That's good. That gives me hope. It gives me hope for the people, for the people who were well, send that. I took a little screenshot. I saved it. They're trending in the United States, right there. It's still trending, by the way. We have my photos. The riddles, you know, old now. We've moved on from the riddle. Who needs our advice? The Insta advice line, unscreened radio. We'll give some advice. We'll get to that and we will do it. Next. I absolutely love getting outside whether it's a quick walk or a mindful few steps between meetings or even a longer run to just clear my head. But the one thing that can really ruin that for me is shoes that just don't feel right. That's why I started wearing ultra-running. With the ultra-fear, every step feels comfortable, balanced, and strong. Like my feet can finally move freely. What really stood out to me was the roomy toe box. My toes actually now have room to spread out, which makes movement feel more natural and comfortable. And when your feet aren't crammed, you feel more balanced like every step has a strong stable foundation. I've noticed that with extra space, my foot muscles get to work building strength, so I can actually move with more confidence. Ultra fits and moves with the uniform at your pace or your goals. Beginner or marathon runner, they've really become my go-to for any kind of running or training. And I always feel like my feet can do exactly what they're meant to do. Feel the difference by visiting ultra-running.com and use my code cry10 for 10% off.
