I got the odds from DraftKings this morning, because I thought, well, the Rams were busy yesterday.

4:00What does that mean for their Super Bowl odds? DraftKings has the Rams as the favorite plus 750, followed by the defending Super Bowl Champion Seahawks at plus 900, then you have the Bills at plus 1000, followed by the Ravens Eagles. Also, the Chiefs are in there after making this big trade, so the Eagles, Chiefs, and Packers all at plus 1400. And the Rams over under went from 10 and a half to 11 and a half yesterday, after they made the trade for defensive back, Trent McDuffin. This was a great move, I think, by both teams. The Rams looked like a finished product last year. You had Matthew Stafford MVP, you had wide receivers, a couple of really good defensive linemen, but the problem was the secondary. LA surrendered an average of 31 points in their losses last season. Mac Jones and Sam Darnold both threw for over 340 yards against the Rams.

5:00Bryce Young and Jalen Herds threw a combined six touchdowns against this defense. So Sean McVeigh and Les Sneed, the GM decided, we can't ignore the evidence any longer, so they traded for Trent McDuffie with the Kansas City Chiefs. So the Rams are in a win-now mode, and why not? You have an elite cornerback now. Now you can say, all right, Trent, there's your guy. You got in Jigba, you got to take him. And this is going to help out immensely with that defensive line, because now you got a guy that you can put single coverage on some of the best receivers. But elite corners are rarely available, but you're chasing a Super Bowl. In your own division, chasing the defending champs, and you still have the Niners twice a year as well. But McDuffie is going to change the game for them. He's going to change matchups, and for a team already near the top,

6:00I like what they did. They want to stay on top of that mountain. But looking back at some of these games, week three J-1 hurts three touchdowns, no interceptions. AJ Brown had 109 receiving yards, and then you had two weeks later, against the Niners, Mac Jones throws for 340 yards to touchdowns, Kendrick Bourne had 10 catches for 142 yards. Bryce Young in week 13, three touchdown passes. Then you had week 16, Sam Darnold. He goes for 270 yards. They lost to the Falcons, but nothing really notable as far as wide receivers there. And then the Seahawks in the playoffs, Sam Darnold three touchdown passes over 340 yards, and JSN had 10 catches for 150. Now you got a guy who's going to make you a whole lot better, and it will come down to this. It's still Matthew Stafford. If Matthew Stafford is able to stay upright for 17 weeks,

7:02Rams are the team to beat. I thought they were the team to beat last year. But look, they had a glaring weakness, and I love the fact that they were aggressive. You give up a lot, and I thought, well, Kansas City is getting rid of a 25-year-old defensive back. Now, somebody's going to have to pay him, and he's going to make $25 million a year, probably. But the Rams looking at this and saying, maybe we have a two-year window with Matthew Stafford, let's go get it again. And they certainly went out and did that. The fact that they're going from 10 and a half to 11 and a half, no other team right now has a win total over under of 11 and a half. The Rams are the first team to get there. So that was yesterday. That was fun and a little bit surprising, but we'll talk some football. Your phone calls always welcome. Come up with a poll question as well. 8:07Lou Holtz passed away yesterday. He was in hospice for a while, age 89. And if you weren't around when he was at Notre Dame, you don't understand the magnitude of what he did, what the impact that he had on college football. He was one of the faces, one of the voices, very entertaining. And he brought Notre Dame an national championship. But if you were ever around him, he was, he was a guy who was going to entertain you. He had a lot of great stories and he loved to share those. But he was more than just Notre Dame's head coach. The coached a variety of places. And I don't think he's in the Hall of Fame. I'd maybe check that, Paulie. I don't know if Lou Holtz is in the college football Hall of Fame, which would surprise me. But somebody was talking about that to me yesterday. Yes, Paul. He was inducted in the college football Hall of Fame in 2008. Oh, good.

9:07Yeah. Because I know Digger Phelps, Notre Dame basketball coach is not in the Hall of Fame. Now that's the basketball Hall of Fame. But for Lou Holtz, he was, as Paulie said, a pisser. Like he, he wasn't afraid to give you an opinion, tweak you a little bit, yell at the officials. And, you know, you start to look at Notre Dame football. They've had a lot of great coaches there. Nobody more as charismatic as charismatic as Lou Holtz. But at age 89, and he became a great analyst, a fun analyst. He was with Mark May, with the mother ship, Reese Davis. Reese tells a great story. He played with Lou Holtz at Augusta. Lou was a member of Augusta. And I think when he was at South Carolina, part of his deal when he was coaching there is, he got a membership to Augusta. And later in his life, he couldn't really hit it very far.

10:07I don't know if he could ever hit it very far. But the fact that he took Reese Davis, J. Billis, and I think Mark May to Augusta. And he told this story to Scott Van Pelt last night. But the part 3, 12th, he would lay up. Now, yes, he would lay up on a hole that was 149 yards. And what he would do is he'd hit it before it got to raise Creek. And then he would ship up, and, you know, sometimes he would end up with a par. But he loved playing there. He loved bringing people there. And he would, he would ship up and right before the Creek. So he probably hit it 120 yards, and then he would ship it onto the green on the par 3. But Reese Davis tells this story that Lou Holtz won a bet with Mark May. And he had just had neck surgery. Lou had. And they were going to get a picture because Mark had to give him the money that he won on this bet. And Lou goes, hold on, hold on, hold on.

11:09He goes into the clubhouse. He gets his neck brace that he's supposed to be wearing. And he comes out for the picture to make it even more like, how did you let a guy in a neck brace beat you in golf, Mark May? But that was Lou. He was always one step ahead. And age 89, he lived a very, very eventful life. See, what's Paul question today? We got two of them here. We might as well start with the Lou Holtz Paul question. One of his most famous quotes, Dan, that you love, is they put their pants on the same way that we do. So it got me to thinking when you are putting your pants on, left leg first, right leg first, or you're not sure. I want to see if we all actually put our pants on the same way. Yeah, this was Lou's famous quote that he would say to his players. Just to make it like, hey, they put their pants on the same way we do, we can go out and beat these guys. So are you a left leg first or a right leg first, or are you not sure?

12:10I'm left leg. Say I'm right leg. And my right leg always goes in first. Yeah. I go left. Yeah, Paul. I'm a two and jump guy. I put both feet in simultaneously. Pull and jump. It cuts off tons of time. Probably bought me an extra year of life. I think you learned that when you were four, if I'm not mistaken, too. Probably. I do the edge of the bed, two feet in, pole jump, just snap. It's on a snap. You kids out there don't try it without parental supervision. Yeah. And a snap. I used to be a left leg right leg, because right leg left leg, you're a maniac. Yeah, I'd be nervous though. Degree of difficulty. Yes, Todd. I wouldn't have many people like me anyway, me to lean up against the wall or be in a seated position to put their pants down. This is a lot about your abs and I think your general core. Do you need to be like laying down or sitting or up against a wall to put your pants on? How old are you? I am 56. Okay. And you have to be seated to put your pants on?

13:10I prefer. It's more comfortable for me to be in a sitting position or on the bed or up against the wall or just have some kind of fulcrum to help me get my pants on. Did you say fulcrum? Fulcrum. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's the first time fulcrum has ever been used on you. I don't even know if I'm using it right, but it just sounds like a cool word. Fulcrum is a pivot point or hinge. Yeah, for me, just standing up and putting my pants, you know, I feel something in my lower back or my quad or something like that or a hamstring. I like to kind of, I need something to kind of lean on. How about you, Marvin? Right leg, left leg. Okay. That's fine. Anything else that we want to ponder with a pull question here? Jump and Todd needs a fulcrum. This is producing way more than I could have ever imagined. I like to be propped up a little bit for the putting out of the pants. I like to live on the edge. Here's one from, here's one switching up topics a little bit. Here's one from Todd, that's funny. This is the Miles Garrett pull question.

14:10How many speeding tickets would you need to get in less than 10 years to start slowing down? Three, five, seven or at least nine? So he has nine speeding tickets since 2017? I believe so. How do you keep your license? I know you just pay a fine, but don't you get points? Don't they, don't you accumulate enough points that you get your license suspended? At least he's not in the public eye where no one's going to find out about it. He can just kind of like live under them. Thank you. I wonder how bad of a speeding ticket it has to be. Like if you're always, you know, what is that saying? Like eight, you're great. Nine, you're mine or whatever. If you're always at like nine to 10 miles an hour over, where it's really not that big of a deal. He's not. No, it's a significant. Oh, yeah, got it. He was clocked going 94 and a 70. That's excessive. He was clocked going 160. That is excessive. Let's see.

15:11Unless you might say. He's a miles garrot of speeders. Miles per hour. Sixty-five in a forty-five. That's too fast. Yeah. But don't you get points against you in your license and you get a certain number of points and then your license gets suspended? What do you think his insurance is? It's got to be astronomical. I hope he's bundling with Liberty Mutual. Reach out to him. What is the motivation you think for excessive speeding? You think it's cool. You're in a big rush all the time. You like the feel. How about you tell me? Don't know. I don't really speed much. I'm the one that gets in trouble because I'm going too slow in the left lane. So I have to defer to you guys. If so, what are my options here? It's very cool to go fast. I like how it feels to be in a car that's going fast. I'm at a big rush. I'm very important and I have to get somewhere as quickly as possible. Even at the risk of injuring or killing other people on the road because I have to just get there fast. I don't know what his motivation is. I've never gotten a speeding ticket.

16:11You've never gotten a speeding ticket? No. Yeah, pull me. I think with someone like Miles Garrett or anyone who has a sports car, I'm looking at his car. It's a $300,000 sports car. It's meant to be driven fast and it's not meant to be how normal roadways. There must be almost like a tick that says, I bought this car, I'm going to stretch it out. It's wrong, but I think that's the motivation. Shoulder Sanders, maybe it's something about the Cleveland Browns. He got to get out of there as fast as he can. Get it. Now it makes sense. Shoulder was arrested. Well, he got a ticket a couple of times, I think, in his first year in Cleveland. Yes, Todd. If you're not showing off, then why can't you just, he's got the money, rent some time on a racetrack. If you feel a need to go really fast in circles, so you're not putting other people in danger. And how much it costs to go to the Daytona or wherever you have to go. Just do that. Unless, again, you want to show off your car and how fast you can drive, then that's a whole other story. Yeah, I said it.

17:11Look at me and look at my fancy expensive car and how fast the driver. I dare you to pull me over on Miles Garrett. If Miles Garrett came on the show. I would say it too. You would. Yeah, only because you're putting other people's lives in danger because you have to drive your expensive car fast. Well, those are, you know, when you go a Hyundai in a 60 on the highway, okay, I mean, that to me, I got to take away your license. I would think, but once again, I grew up in Ohio, but I don't know what the laws are anymore with what happens when you get a speeding ticket. I thought that that counted as points. And if you got to a certain number of points, then they took away your license. Or at least I remember that happening to a couple of my friends who might have been drinking and driving as well. Yes, Paul? I was in the Ohio DMV website, of course, Dan. And they do have a point system. And if you go over 12 points for various infractions in a two-year period, you get a six-month suspended license.

18:12So apparently. But if you get caught speeding, you know, Ohio, does that, are those points that go on your license? It also says if you have 15 plus sacks and are defensive player of the year, all rules are waived. It's in the fine print. Yeah, but they still, they give him a ticket. But it's not like they let him go. Yeah. I mean, you still have to pay a fine. He doesn't have to go to court, I don't think. In there, like a miles per hour margin where you go, I think you're going to have to go see the judge for that one. Definitely. Right? You don't want to get a speeding ticket where they're like, okay, and so your car stays here and you're coming with us. Yeah. That's a very bad speeding ticket. One you do not want. And at the very end of the meal, Todd goes to the bathroom and Eric, the big German, pays the check, but we wanted to give the impression to Todd that he was being left with a check when he came out of the bathroom. How surprised were you when you came out and nobody was there? I was very surprised and I started profusely sweating six different types of sushi. Because I know that's about $40, $45 a pop. And it was about a dozen of us. So through the math, a few people had beverages. I'm like, this is going to be like $600 or $700. Where everybody go. And I opened up the thing. There better be a credit card in there when I opened up the little booklet to see. Yeah. You were okay. And there wasn't a credit card in there. We'd already paid. I wasn't aware of that. And I'm like, I can't believe these guys. And then with my arms, which are only a quarter inch shorter than yours,

24:31I still had trouble reaching to my wallet to see if I hadn't really figured this out. Would you have left the restaurant without paying? I walked out of the restaurant looking around to see if everyone was there. I wasn't attending. I think I just dined and dashed if everybody left. No one's going to pay for this thing. And you were the one that didn't want to go. You were like told to go and you go, it's not optional. I thought it was mandatory. But I ended up having a good time and I had chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, a fried Oreo cookie, sushi, teriyaki, chicken. I went to town. You had four desserts. I was not shining back there. Then Mario had the gole from the other side of the table. Can I have one of you? I said, there's only two on the plate of the fried Oreo cookie. You're having 50% of my dessert here. Yes, Paul. We ordered shared desserts, which is a little odd, because they had these fried Oreo cookies. And it came like three to a little plate. And we were sharing them. And Todd had his own. He was hoarding a little bit. Mario asked for one. And it was not looked up on the favorite. Todd, it was a team building. I know, but it was like three sections. It was one big table, but it was like three groups of four.

25:32And I asked the guys, and my little group of four, are you guys having any dessert? And they said no. And I proceeded to fill out the form. Vanilla ice cream. Yes, chocolate ice cream. Yes, fried Oreo cookies. And it all came. So I assumed this is all for me. Everyone didn't want it. At least in my section. Then Mario, all the way to the other end of the table. Can I have one of those fried Oreo cookies? Once again, it was a team building. What was it? How would it come to dessert? There's no team. Yeah. Yes, Marvin. So fritzy is selfish and negative. There's no eye and dessert. I was seriously on my way to my car going like, I can't believe no one paid the check. We're just going to all have to eat six, seven hundred dollars with the food. We're just going to leave here. Couple of phone calls in here. Settle on a poll question. More on the Raiders with the Max Crosby situation. Mike Silver with the athletic. He even had a long column, a deep dive on the Raiders. And he's like, you know, hey, this is going to happen. Max Crosby not playing for the Raiders and now just get it over with. You know, the thing I don't understand is what the Bengals did with Trey Hendrickson

26:33because they franchised him. And then, you know, he played, but he didn't play well this past year. Joe Burrow gets hurt and you get to the trade deadline. And I'm thinking now you trade trade Trey Hendrickson. They didn't. And so now he's a free agent. They got nothing out of that. At least trade him during the season and get something. Instead, they got nothing for Trey Hendrickson. Kind of surprised with whatever logic the Bengals, they can't have logic on this because the season was over. Now granted, Joe came back and there was the possibility but Trey didn't play very well. But you could have, and you know, there was so much drama leading up to that. I don't know how healthy or ready he was for the season. And at the trade deadline, I got to get something.

27:34Yeah, Paul. As long as we're talking about things that bothers, I don't think this is great at all for the Chiefs. They got one draft pick, big draft pick back. But it's towards the end of the first round, the 29th from the Rams. Trent McDuffie is an all pro or second team, all pro defensive back. You wish to get guys like that on their team. You're in Mahomes Prime. You don't give this guy another contract and lock him up from Mahomes Prime. Yeah, but they didn't get just one draft pick. No, they got others, but I don't know. They're going to have to replace him. And he seems somewhat irreplaceable at 25 years old, all pro. They got holes. Now granted, you know, you're going to say, well, you got to fill that hole now too. But how many draft picks do they get like four draft picks? And they got another first round pick this year. And the Rams don't care about first round picks. What is it? Nine out of the last 10 years. They traded nine of 10. Jared versus the guy they kept, right?

28:35And that turned out to be a great draft pick. But the Rams are like, hey, we'll trade them. We don't care. But for the Chiefs, it felt like I was surprised from the standpoint of Vegas says 10 and a half wins over under for the Chiefs. And I'm thinking, I don't know if Mahomes is going to be ready to go. If Kelsey comes back, who cares? Like I have, you know, not quite sure. Like if I'm a Chiefs fan, I don't think we're better today. But then this is a team that is pretty good at finding some talent. You know, maybe, maybe Jeremiah love falls in your lap. That would be a big upgrade. But yeah, I think that they, there's a few more holes that they have to fill. But they did just create a pretty large one with Trent McDuffie. Ben and Milwaukee. Good morning, Ben. What's on your mind today? Good morning, Dan and Danette. So I hang up. 29:35I was running as Cleveland, play in Europe next year. Just take a extra day and go to the Autobahn. He can ride his heart out. I like that. Can we check the Browns schedule? Do they play in London next year? Or some other place? I've been on the Autobahn before. And it's wild. Because you just have cars that like these BMWs had just come up on you. And you're not, Todd, they, you would not do well on the Autobahn. I don't like that. I know. Dizzy real quick. Stay in the right lane. And it got so bad in there, I told her to open the window and light some incense. Well, I go in there and she's got the incense burning and all the old sticks and stuff. And with the methane that was in there, it was accidentally happened. So I just wanted to thank you for a lot of good can come out of bed. So put those to you guys. Well, thank you, Kurt. Probably too much information there. Throwing your wife under the bus. Yes, Paul. However, you may have saved a lot. Yes, I did. Yeah. Put it on the chart. Yes. I meant suggesting that the atmosphere surrounding the bathroom after his wife had used it. Yeah. Should someone have let a match it would have caused an explosion.

34:45You fall back. Skiing is more like a catastrophe. Stuff flies all over. Nothing flies off you when you're snowboarding. Yeah. I'm not interested in doing either. But then you see these little kids. You know, we'd put our kids on skis when they'd be like three or four. And they'd just zoom down the mountain. You know, you get that low center of gravity, and they'd be like, zoom, zoom. And then, you know, you'd have to do a pizza, you know, with your skis or french fries or whatever it's called. Yeah, you got it. Yeah, I got it. That's turns. Yeah. I might have been there for some of those moments with my kids. Yes, Todd. Is it considered skiing if you put the equipment on and just kind of walk around it, and you don't actually go sliding down just to get a feel for what it feels like. Like on my high school trip, high school senior trip, we went skiing. And I tried, I put everything on, and then I just kind of walked around in them for a few minutes and then I went back inside and set by the fireplace and had hot chocolate. Drew and Cincinnati. 50:02My approach, I go right at the speed limit, set my cruise and forget about it. But I feel like you can learn a lot about people by their approach to the speed limit. So for you and the guys, you see 70 miles an hour on the speed. What is your, what are you setting your cruise control at? 79. If it's 70, then I might go to 79, 78. But once again, I've never had a speeding ticket. I was pulled over once and the police officer said, or the trooper said, where are you going? You're in a hurry.
