I used to also know a guy who, I guess, he was one of the owners of a place that I worked at in the Baytown town,

3:16and he had a great corner office at McGill. The street formerly known as University, but I think it's still called University when it's next to McGill. Yeah, the Robert Berrassa, yeah. Sherbrook and University was the corner. Sherbrook Street West, and he had the corner office there on the sixth floor, I think. And he had Kiss stuff all his office. Yeah, yeah. This is crazy. You know, older guy though. Yeah. You know, resonated with certain people. Has Detroit spit out like a bunch of, like, were there other options? Not that this was the bad option, but... Please feel free to drop in anytime after three. We have officially been invited. But it went to Sean's Bell Media email, so we wouldn't have seen it until this morning. Start this morning, yeah. Right away, I looked to see, was this a group email or was this more specific? Of course, my ego was flattered. Oh, what was it? It was still. It was sent to both of us. That's it. Just the two of us. Not at the general staff email, you know? Okay. So you're going to go? I don't think so. I'm going to try. Honestly, I'm going to try too, but I'm busy Friday. Yeah. He's like, he was there Sunday. And the place was slammed. Love the vibe. First time he'd been there. Okay. He missed our party. Right. So it was the first time he was there. And he was like. Couldn't believe it. It was packed. And people were golfing and eating and drinking. And. Sunday. Like Sunday, like brunch time. You know. Hmm. Great. Big success. Indeed. Indeed. I'm a little, uh, insulted that it didn't message me. I actually live in Point St. Charles. A few blocks away. Well, he didn't invite me.

8:16Let's not. He didn't invite me to. Hey, you got to come. He was more sending in the review. I don't know. I'm insulted. Okay. So yeah, I don't know. I think I am going to try to get over there. Yeah. But I'm going to see Project Hail Mary on Friday. Mm-hmm. And that's going to dominate like noon to three. So we'll see what happens after that. I'm going to see it downtown like two blocks away from her. Oh, wow. Okay. Winning room. You know. You're going to be right there. But, uh, you want to hear a sad story about what happened to me last night? Sad story. Yeah. We were, uh, we were out and about, you know, we post daycare pickup. I'm always trying to kill off a little bit of time. Uh, because if I bring the two kids home, they are just, they're going to tear each other to shreds by the time dinner comes around and it's just too much. Yeah. So we're trying to do something else. Right. And yesterday it wasn't going to take them to the library in Little Burgundy. They got a great, great library. I think in the old town hall of that burrow. And, uh, so that's like, um, or is that a Notre Dame? Vanay. It's in Vanay Park.

9:16Yeah. Okay. Right. Yeah. And, uh, whatever. Lino grew sweet. Yep. Yep. Um, and yeah, like we're September, surf cafe. Same block as Joe beef at Liverpool House. And, uh, so we're at the library. And I'm like, you know what? We don't really have a dinner plan. Let's, let's go. Let's grab dinner. We go around the corner to our favorite, um, Lebanese restaurant called Lulu. Sure. And, um, my kids love these, um, Marcouc, Pitas, Shistau, Pitas that they make. We're chicken inside and little pickle. They're incredible. Yeah. Incredible sandwiches. We go there. It's, you know, 645. We walk in. And the guys like, I'm sorry. We're, uh, we're out of Shistau. No. I've, there's none left. I've had that. It's not even 7 o'clock. You guys are open till nine. Yeah. And there's none left. Yeah. And now it's like panic mode. Because we don't have a backup plan. And terrible news. Like we were going to maybe hit Palpatat, which is on the way home.

10:16But Palpatat closes at seven. Right. By the time I get the kids back to the car, get loaded into the car and get down to Palpatat, it's going to be probably seven o'clock. I can't risk going to Palpatat and what I get there at 655. They're out of hot dogs. Yeah. Right. It could happen. That's happened to me too. They have enough food to do what they had to do during the day. And then they restock for the following day. I wonder if I know where this is going. Oh, I think you do. I think I do now. Yeah. You did it. So we hit McDonald's, one of my, not my favorite McDonald's. Yeah. Yeah. Notre Dame in that water. Yeah. And did the drive through. I don't think my kids have ever been to the drive through. Okay. We're sitting there waiting in this interminable weight at this McDonald's after making the order. And no matter what time, no matter what time. And to my credit, my kids have not eaten a lot of McDonald's in my life. But they have eaten it before. But my daughter, we're sitting there. She's like, what are we doing? Right. I'm like, we're getting dinner. She's like, what do you mean? I'm like, we're going to get dinner. She's like, where? I'm like, that little window over there. That's going to serve us food. She's like, the food is going to come from the window over there.

11:18That's amazing. I'm like, hey, yeah. We're going to pull up to the window. They're going to give us our food to drive home. I love that. She's like, okay. Yeah. And so anyway, we did. We pulled the trigger and the kids ate like better than they usually eat. Yeah. I don't know if it's all the salt or the fat or what. But they were very, very happy little eaters. They devoured it, huh? They each had their own happy meal. Oh, nice. They were very, very happy. What was the toy situation? They had little playmobil sloths. Okay. They both got the same toy. So the reviews were smash hit. They were very happy. Yeah. We'd get it like a burger or nugs or for them? Yeah. One of them got a nugget happy meal. One of them got a burger happy meal. Each and then they split. They split the burger and they each had two nuggets. That's class. Yeah. They were very happy. Would you eat? I know. Let me just say that 20 piece. I don't know. What I did was I pulled up the app. Yeah. I pulled up the trigger on the last thing I ordered on the McDonald's app when I was with my entire family. You can have like order again. Yeah, exactly. So I do.

12:18I was like, I saw, you know, seven, eight items. I was like, okay, that's a full family order. Just bad. Reupt. And it turned out to be something that I got several months ago at a McDonald's in Kingston when we were driving a Toronto. I don't know why for some holiday, I guess. I don't know. It's like a McDouble and a sweet chili junior chicken. Oh, nice. Um, Donald, I meant I had two cheeseburgers. Anyway, just to say this morning, I did not feel well. Hmm. Let's talk about last night in the National Hockey League. Boy oh boy, this is an important game for the Ottawa Senators against the Washington capitals. But, uh, Nicole Hudson's debut kind of take over the narrative of this one a little bit. He was incredible. Yeah. I watched the second and third periods of this game and he was. He was just like, I wonder what he's going to look like. Just like his brother did in his debut a couple of years ago at the end of the year. I remember we played a couple of games for the haves. Oh, where you were just like, wow. Yeah. And it was.

13:18I couldn't believe it. The same thing for this guy. I couldn't believe it. He was magnificent. Yeah. And no coincidence, right? That they traded John Carlson last or two weeks ago. And, yeah. Right as this guy's about to come in and sort of pick up the mantle that Carlson's left there after the better part of two decades. He looks a lot like Lane. Yeah. Out there. He can skate away from it seems like pretty much anything. And seems to have that energizer bunny the type battery. Um, still some fine tuning. Obviously, I'd be curious for Lane to hear what he thought. I'm sure he was watching that last night. Yeah. I'd be fascinated to hear his thoughts. Um, but yeah, the capital, you know, the senators dominated the first period of this game. I didn't get a goal. I mean, stop me if you've heard this before. But it felt like something we've seen for the Canadians in the last two years, especially. Yeah, they ran into. I mean, he's Logan Thompson's an unbelievable season. He was the first period. Incredible. And then Alexander Ovechkin gets kind of a fluky one.

14:19Yep. And the capitals end up with a two-nothing lead coming out of the second period. The senators got one back with Omar out of the net lately in the third. But then Protas, Protas scores an empty netter. Gary Galley devastated on the sports net broadcast devastated. And then Cole Hudson scored actually his first career NHL goal, an empty netter to close it out. After I literally had turned off the TV. This was a 730 start after the 3-1 goal. There's like a buck and a half to go. I'm like, all right, time for bed. It's after 10 o'clock. Yeah, it was a great, it was a cool visual. Because he makes a, he makes a nice defensive play. Yeah. And then he gets the bounce. And on his line as he's skating up, I guess as you're watching it. So he's skating up the right side with the puck. It's an on-man rush to an empty net. And who's on his left side is telling him? Conor McMichael. Yeah, gesturing with his hand. Go, go, go. Conor McMichael is like, do not pass me the puck. Shoot this puck into the net.

15:19And he finally got the message. Pinto, nice pass. Shabbat, slicing through. Here it is. Here it is. Pull Hudson through center. Hudson closes. Fires its goal. Pull Hudson. I'm and dad to celebrate the family embrace on and off the ice. 4-1 watch it. Very cool. Yeah. And the fact that it results in the senators losing a game. And the regulation mind you. Huge massive loss for the senators. I heard Colby Armstrong last night on their panel saying that was a must win game for the senators before it started. Well, they lost it. The good news is, you know, all is not lost. Remember what the senators were probably feeling this time a week ago after losing in regulation to the Canadians. And what they did since. That's right. So they're not done yet. Yeah, they had 1-5-6 going into that one. And it was great to see two. Alexander Ovechkin. I think it was more happy for Col Hudson than Col Hudson was to score that goal.

16:20A big embrace in that for Col Hudson. I think they were very excited to get this young kid onto their roster. He now lives with Pierre Luke Dubois. I read yesterday as he was like. Said he was tired of living in a hotel. And PLD said, come on over. Because who was who was the there's another young player. That I guess roomed. Right. Yeah, I was running later. Thanks. So I guess that's kind of PLD's kind of thing on the team. So what has Leonard moved out? I believe he's got his spot. And Col Hudson now I guess has the bachelor pad wherever that may be in the PLD residence. So PLD not not married. The pride of Santa Gath as far as you know. As far as I know, I know they were I read yesterday that they were auditioning goal songs for Col Hudson. They spent some of the day talking about goal songs. Yeah, it's weird. They play everyone I guess has their own song there in DC. Like a walk up song for a battery. I heard a bunch of different songs watching that game last night.

17:20That explains it. All right. Yeah, as far as his Wikipedia page goes, Pierre Luke Dubois does is not currently a married man. Even if it was, you know, you can live with married people. You know, these guys probably pick enough house. Yeah. Maybe he's got like a guest area out back or maybe it's in the same house. Yeah, that's all right. What else? Oh, city Crosby returned for the penguins. Boy, it's a groundhog day for the penguins. A city Crosby scores gets a couple of points and they lose the game in a shootout. But Crosby missed 11 games for the penguins in return. Crosby got a stick on that. We're killing pursuit. We're going to check over the wall. There's Crosby on the back end. He scores. Come back complete for the captain. It is returned. He's on the board. And we're tied in one. Now, I love Crosby. He's this old. He's this experienced. And he gets called on a 50-50 call and it doesn't go his way.

18:22He's in the bench. He's reading his lips. Bleeping BS. Bleeping BS. Still not the referee. Still complaining like it's second year in the NHL. Yeah. They haven't many points as the Canadians this team, man. I kept it. I was looking at the standings. I was like, we spent so much time talking about Crosby Montreal. Oh, the dream. The dream of 87 in Montreal. Buy your jersey. Get ready to buy your jersey. I was like, this deep into the year of 15 games left. They have as many points next to their name in the standings as the Montreal Canadians do. Who did we think we were? I don't know. I mean, we weren't the only ones to be fair. I mean, like our buddy Sean Gentilly. Exactly. We talked to him in the office. He's in that market. Not covering that team, but certainly paying a lot of attention to them. Yeah. He thought they were going to be terrible. Yeah. And a lot of things came together. For sure, Kyle Dubas. I think deserves a lot of credit for that. GM, did you see what Sydney Crosby said about the golden goal in 2010?

19:26I did. Sure did. I sure did. Not a great look for Jack Hughes. Anyway, what about the double IHFs reply? We'll get to all that. Yeah. I got some plan for that a little bit later on this morning. But yeah, it doesn't sound like Jack Hughes is getting that bug. So yeah. But yeah, Ealers three points. Jackson Blake. He's a good player. Three points each. Pittsburgh loses, but they pick up a point. So the standings this morning, the Canadians remain third in the division, which was always going to be the case with the Bruins and Red Wings Idol last night. But the senators miss a golden opportunity to pick up points and remain five points out of a playoff spot. Now with 15 games remaining in their schedule. Yikes. Yeah, it's tough for them. They are they are I saw stand by it. You know, the senators are good team. They've been undone by bad goal tending all season long. But I think they are frankly a better club than the blue jackets. I think they're a better club than the Red Wings. And I think they're a better club than the Bruins.

20:27But they also have not banked as many points as those teams. That's it. And sometimes you are what the standings say that you are. Will it be a case of too little too late? It remains to be seen. But that was a really tough loss for the senators last night. Yeah. And I mean, it's got to be so demoralizing because they to your point right when they lost the Canadians and they go on a nice little run. And they're doing it without Jake Sanderson kind of like this rallying moment for them. You know, losing one of their better players because I don't disagree. I mean, you look at this team, you watch how they play. I mean, yes, this is a good team with really good talent. But like we talked about, you know, you lose a player. You lose a goal tender for a stretch. And then when all Mark does come back, it's again kind of flip a coin. What version of him are you going to get? He got hot and not and the turbulent season has probably going to cost them. Unless they go on another run and get some help. I mean, they're only 30 what 30 points up for grabs for this team down the stretch here. And they got to make up, they got to make up a significant ground.

21:28Yeah. And what has been nothing but a parody filled conference? And look, it's not, they can, it can be done for sure. I mean, we saw it last year. Yeah. But you need, there's some slippage will be required. There's the teams that we just mentioned. Yeah. Are going to have to slip. And we'll see, you know, the Red Wing's losing regulation tonight. That's a step in the right direction. I assume the Bruins are playing tonight too. Yep, they are. So we got Winnipeg tonight. Okay. Another team that's, yeah, maybe doing a little bit too little too late. Big out of town. Big night on the out of town scoreboard. Yeah, after really kind of a quiet one last night. Uh-huh. Not, not a lot going on. The NCAA tournament. Are you going to make a bracket? No. No, come on. Yeah. Let's do a bracket. What mean you? Don't know. We can do the Brian Kalasar bracket challenge. I deleted the email. Do we have to pay for that? No. Okay. So it'll be fun. It'll be fun. It'll be fun. Yeah, we'll have, we can have something to banter about our stupid brackets. We don't know what we're doing. I have no idea. We could do it live here on the radio.

Windshield minus nine this morning. Tonight. Few Flouries ending late this evening. Then clearing low of minus five. Windshield minus 11 overnight. So still very much winter. And then guess what? Tomorrow. Five centimeters of snow coming away. Yeah. So what does that mean? Ten. I mean, they can't predict how much we're going to get. No. No idea. It seems at least. And it seems like it's getting cooler. I'm getting better in terms of the temperature for Sunday's parade day. I saw last. When I last checked. I already have four degrees. Yeah. Saturday's Sunday your highest four. Yeah. The overnight low on Saturday's minus one. So it shouldn't be too too cold in the morning. But it's not going to be cold in windy man. Snow or rain. I mean, I don't go to the parade if it's raining. Hell no. But yeah, weather. I mean, we've got snow in the forecast. In some way, shape or form every day. Through next Wednesday. Light snow today. I'm going to say I might have taken on Tats for his arrogance and for his slip up in timing and perspective on where you fall within this team. But hey, listen, if you have that kind of confidence, have out of kid.

26:31Because what you did yesterday for the Montreal Canadians, who sorely knew to win, and Boston's breathing down their neck, you got a buffalo team that's starting to run away a little bit with all these things, not working in your favor with your momentum. You get in there, you stabilize everything, and the saves you make. I mean, there's a save and overtime on the breakaway that I mean, that could have been so deflating, but he allows this team to go back out there and... Yeah, and you know, win the game. Yeah, no, it's huge. I mean, you thought at that point who's at Zaka, right? You thought, I mean, he's probably going to score there. Hats for it, honest stick. 100%. And yeah, I mean, that's an interesting take in the observations about, you know, best player by far, he said, best penalty killer. I mean, that's the thing about him. You know, you forget, I mean, he's still a rookie status player. And I keep having what Mark Dene had told us seemingly months ago now about this guy, when you look at his path to who he was, a fifth round pick, right? I mean, I don't know how many people thought that long of a journey was ultimately going to land him today

27:34because the number one goal tenor for the Canadians. But, you know, doesn't have compared to, let's say, a Jacob Fowler, right, who came in with a pretty hot reputation, much larger expectations, played in big time collegiate games. That wasn't the same, and Mark reminded us of that months ago when we were talking about the goal-tending situation that, yeah, he's in the show, but the track record, the path, you know, didn't play big national games, didn't play big junior games, didn't play big college games. Yeah. And here he is, you know, and probably deserving of a little more credit than he gets and love than he's getting. He's got 22 wins, Connor. For, you know, this is the guy, there's a case to be made that he has been, maybe not the MVP, but I candidate for the most valuable player on this team this season. Just, and if he can keep it up down the stretch, yeah, a rookie goal-tender winning this many games. It deserves, is certainly, you know, are another thing Arpen brought up, you know, Wallstead and Minnesota gets a lot of accolades and attention, but why not, why not Dobasch?

28:39Why is Dobasch not getting as much as he is, I guess, the, what did he say? The traditional stats are not as impressive as the ones that Wallstead puts up, but the goal-safe above expected stats, the advanced stats, are definitely impressive. Another candidate for a Canadian's best player on a lot of nights is Cole Coffield. Here's John Goins yesterday on Campbell versus Gallo. He opens up, catches the pass and flight. He's not overhandling the puck and then he drifts inside dots to improve his shot angle. And now he's figured out something I learned about 10 years ago going to a development camp with the Leafs was that there is such thing as ice geography. And he seems to have his one or two spots that he's going to shoot at no matter what the goal he's doing when he's in certain locations on the ice and he's doing it extremely well. Yeah, that's to put it mildly, 40-goal man Cole Coffield. Here's Pierre McGuire.

29:39Yeah, I wanted to watch tape at Joey Mullins and the late Joey Mullins needs to squire in a power plant. Because if he does do that, I think Cole's got a chance to go as high as Joey Mullins numbers were. Joey Mullins was an amazing player. It was an honor and a privilege to have a chance to work with him. I never said coach players like that. He's a hockey off him. You don't coach guys like that. They have a natural sound, but you maintain them. And I had so many great days with Joey and I can't wait to see him this week and go on to the Mariel in the new fantasy camp. Starting Sunday in joy will be there like he is every year. I want Cole Coffield to become Joey Mullins. That's what I wanted to be. I wanted to be Joey Mullins. If he can be Joey Mullins, he's going to be all the same player. He's going to be a three-time Stanley Cup champion. I don't know if we should replay that clip and get a bell for every time he says Joey Mullins. He must have said Joey Mullins nine times in a 45-second piece of audio.

30:41But yeah, Joey Mullins. I also need to know what the Mario Lemieux fantasy camp is. Sounds fun. Joe Mullins had one 50 goal season in his career, but he did have seasons of 41, 40, 47, 40, 36, 42, 33, 38, and ultimately scored over 500 goals. And as Pierre says, went to the hockey hall of fame. Was a point of game player just a thousand 62 games played a thousand 63 points. Joe Mullins. I bet. Yeah, that'd be all right. If Cole Coffield could put together a career like that. All right, on we go to Lane Hudson. Aaron Ward on Lane Hudson and that battery of his. So we used to call those guys iron lungers, but it was usually critical. That kid's like a like his get a scuba diver. He's got a constant flow of oxygen working for him. Doesn't ever seem to be tired. And when when your oxygen and your tired is depleted, that's when he make mistakes.

31:45He gets down on his fuel reserves from an energy standpoint. And he doesn't seem to make the dumb mistakes. It's an interesting. It's an interesting point. When he makes mistakes, it's rarely the result. It seems at least of being out of gas, which is something that you expect. That's it. It more. It was just as likely to happen at the beginning of a shift. You know, I'm not going to suggest the Cole Coffield, the Cole Coffield that Lane Hudson never makes mistakes. But that battery, that thing that Aaron's talking about in the perspective of a long time NHL defenseman, I think, is particularly of interest when you're listening to that. And this guy, I mean, his work habits are at this point of his career so early on. They're legendary now. I mean, you know, you're in this market. You understand that, you know, it's hard. It's almost impossible to get this guy off the ice. They have to like lock the arena and turn the lights off to prevent him from coming into the building more often than not, right? I mean, and you see him every time you're watching these games on TV. And anytime the camera pans over to the bench, Lane Hudson makes a nice, shifty move or they score a goal or goal gets scored when he's on the ice.

32:47And the camera pans to the bench. What do you see? You see him watching the film on the iPad. He's such a student of the game. Arpin Basu wrote about how he communicates hockey. Remember that Kate and Gouli quote from earlier this season, where he was like listening to St. Louis and Hudson talk about a game or talk about a situation on the ice. He was like there, I play at the NHL level and they're like speaking a different language. You know, the way Hudson kind of communicates the way he thinks through and explains situations or decisions he makes on the ice is is savant level, you know, based on the opinion of so many different people that are around this team. And it just gives you, I guess for me anyway, you have the confidence to have the opinion that mistakes are going to happen. He's 21 years old. You know, it's the second full season as an NHL player that those mistakes are going to be few and far between. And it's and it's coming quickly like the decision to go after Victor Arvitz and when captain was there Tuesday night. I mean, that's probably not going to happen again.

33:47Never say never. Yeah. Cole Hudson, by the way, said before he made his NHL debut last night that he spent about three hours on the phone with his brother. Awesome. Three hours. Yeah. And what did he say his brother's primary message was to him, keep your head up at all times. Says everyone, this is a quote from Cole, everyone tries to kill him out there and it'll almost likely could be the same for me. Hudson quipped. And he looks just as shifty and difficult to pin down as his brother does. Well, similar size players to a 510, 599-ish, you know, 160, 170. He looks like a cut there. Yeah. Like someone doing a cookie cutter. Star Trek clone machine. It's incredible. I remember when he came with his parents to watch his brother play at the bell center. He was wearing a hamster. Yeah. So he's a kid. He's 19 years old. Anyway, here is one more on Hudson. This one from Pierre McGuire. Is this too hot of a take shot? Lane Hudson, I think, is going to be part in a major part of winning a Stanley Cup.

34:49And if he doesn't have a letter on his sweater next year, there's a big problem in Montreal. I'm just going to tell you that right now. You should have a letter on his sweater. A big problem. So I don't know. You take it literally, you know, it's a bad big problem. Well, I mean, so Brandon Gallagher, he's got one year left on his contract. He was taking the a off Gallagher, taking the a off Mike Matheson. A big problem. Stripping Suzuki of the cap. Yeah. You're the captain now. I don't know. I mean, look, if there's a scenario where Brendan Gallagher is not back with the Canadians next year, then you've got, I think there's an easy, you can put an a on Lane. I, you want to maybe a hot take, maybe to match that? To me, I'd give it to Cole Coffield before I give it to Lane Hudson. This guy's a feisty. I love how he talks in the attitude he has. Winner lose. I find him to speak the real deal. Yeah.

35:49What do you mean when he's speaking to the media? Yeah. I mean, I, yeah, I wish I knew the guy. I mean, I wish I knew the guy. I only, I only observe for what I read and what I see from him when he talks, you know? But I again, like critical of the team and I just, I like the accountability. He shows me. I, but I guess I, my counter that with your, you've got all of that and he doesn't have a letter on his jersey. So I know. Yeah. So then what about what's the, how does that apply to Hudson? I mean, he does what he does, you know, he does it without a letter. He plays more minutes. Yeah. He's on the ice more. I think that's important. I don't love having guys that have letters that play under 15 minutes a game to begin with. And I don't mean to say the Coffield is that, but the Gallagher is. And that's fine. Like it's a veteran guy. So it's a little bit different. But I, I guess my, I would just, to me, Hudson feels more like the kind of guy who would have a letter than Coffield does. And it's, I don't mean this to be at all the criticism of Coffield so much as to say is, he seems to me like the kind of guy who letter or not, he's going to bring it.

36:57And Hudson probably is that too. Like they both earned it. I'll pull my head. I think they both earned the right to wear a letter. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, there's, it's a, it's the classic good problem to have. I don't actually think. I don't, I don't, yeah, I don't think it's a, something that's going to hurt the Canadian. Just going to sit out camp. Um, I think the LeBron was on yesterday with Melnik and talked about a bunch of stuff. It's worth checking out the full conversation. I wouldn't do so during our show. I mean, you know, we've got a lot of interesting stuff to talk about here. But he did talk about the Canadians a little bit. And the way they're approaching the market. I mean, listen, I, I think that they've been aggressive already. John, I would say like, I mean, whatever this is they were working on, I think would have determined aggressive. It went through. Um, but it's a good question about the rest of the vision. And he forgot to mention one little fact, dude. Does anyone really think Florida is not going to make the playoffs next year? I'm not sure. So, so the Atlantic is the monster.

38:00And the Canadians are part of it. So I think they'll continue to try to address those needs. But obviously they also want to make room for the likes of a Michael Hayes at some point here. So all these things are intertwined. But, uh, yeah, they've been, they've had more success in June than they've had in season. Let's just say in terms of bigger moves. I wouldn't surprise me if they're able to pull something off like that. Come, come, come June. That's Pierre Lebron yesterday on the possibility of the Canadians making a move of significance this summer. Mm-hmm. Which I could see happening. I don't know. I mean, yeah, I could see Florida back on that. Call me arrogant. I'm not so worried about the Florida Panthers. I like the way this Canadians team is moving along, you know? Well, it's, but just the point being that I don't think much, is he making the point that Montreal is going to be the team that maybe is looking over their shoulder or the team that knocks them out of the top run or to rungs of the Atlantic? Well, I'd say more like it's just this is probably a bit of a down year for the Panthers in the division.

39:06Mm-hmm. And that we can expect them to be back next year. And I mean, this, whatever has happened this year has happened with the Florida Panthers having a down year. So I think it's something that's worth taking into account when you're looking at the Atlantic division and what it might look like next year. Is that, well, keep in mind, the Florida Panthers will likely be kind of back next year. Tampa Bay Lightning aren't going anywhere. The Leafs may well be out of it. It doesn't look as much like a one-off for the Leafs. That's great. And then, yeah, you've got the Red Wings, the Canadians, the senators, as the teams on the rise, and well, as Buffalo. Right. And they arrived. That's not vacated now by the Leafs, so it's still, I mean, the division is. It's a problem. Mm-hmm. But Lane, I think you're right for the Canadian should feel good. Yes. It's shown clear progress year over year. I mean, this has been a really good year here in Montreal. One more from LeBron. Yeah, listen, I mean, I think the transparency of the Canadians have had since Kent Hughes and Chuck Gordon took over has been really impressive.

40:11It's hard to do in your market. I think the most passionate market in the league. And so it's not every GM in the league, and this is what we got into as part of the interview. 90 minutes after the trade deadline would tell the fan base that he was pretty close to something big, but didn't, didn't bolt it off. I'm concerned about that. All right, let's tell you the story of Charles Hitler, Sean. A small... Chuck. A small French town is making it the rounds on the internet. It's called Alciseux-aube, which sounds like a small town in France. Population 2785. Oh, wow.

42:12The mayor's name is Charles Hitler. Two teas in Hitler. Right. And he is his opponent. One of his opponents in the election is also called Zelinsky. You know, not to be confused with the Ukrainian president, is it? Yeah. And anyway, this guy, Charles Hitler, and really been able to live his life in relative quiet since the internet got a hold of this. Things have gone crazy. He says, there's an article online that's the headline. 37 of the people of RC are Hitlerites. He says, my wife is in tears, crying about this. I get it. He says the attention is getting to be too much. He says, if people were talking about the town and our policies, that would be one thing. But they're all they're interested in is our names. He's the retired... He used to head a laboratory in French. Why does he have the last name Hitler and why hasn't he changed his name? He says, my family comes from Northern Alsace, which is right on the border between Germany and France. And he says, my father was a shepherd.

43:13And in the war, he was taken to Germany in their forced labor program. After he came back and met my mother, everyone said, you've got to change your name in 1949. The war was a recent memory. But it was a huge administrative headache and would have cost a lot of money. So they didn't change the name. Right. He says, there's only a few of his tribe left in France. His cousins in Alsace all had girls. So the name is disappearing there. One of his sons pronounces the name Hitler in order to escape embarrassment. And his grandchildren have taken their mother's names. Right. But... Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's sticking by it. That's wow. I mean, it's wild too. And it's funny. You know, you look up and he also has that funny little mustache. No, I'm kidding. Well, he did say this is something that used to happen before the internet attention. Yeah. People would occasionally on his election posters. Or draw a little mustache on his face. Like, if I ask you this question, you go back to the end of the Second World War. I understand the logistics. You know, as he explains it, money, bureaucracy, red tape, it's a hassle.

44:17Who wants to go to the DMV? Who wants to deal with government paperwork? I get that. I know. I don't know. I know. Yeah. Well, that might be worth it. Maybe. The truth is I understand it is that virtually everybody who had that name changed it after whether they were related or not. I mean, there are so few people now with that name, which is why this is notable in the first place. Because yeah, it's a bit of a red flag for sure. Although this guy seems like a perfectly fine fellow to be fair. And I guy, you know, he's a retired guy. He's lived his whole life and he's just like, oh, come on. What's going on here? Yeah. I made it this far. The internet opened up his world. Yeah. So we'll see what happens. We'll be following the results of that election very, very closely, obviously. We'll be back in a few moments.
