The game stayed tight through the first half, as the team swapped the lead and both stars traded buckets. Charlotte pulled ahead in the third quarter when DeRosanne rested briefly, carrying a 5-point edge into the final frame. Hornets fans love seeing Lamello take total control, hitting 6-3 pointers to tie for second in the league. The 20-year-old rookie Con Weble added 24 efficient points with 5-3s, while Miles Bridges bounced back by driving to the basket. More often, DeRosanne had his best game of the season, keeping Sacramento close despite some turnovers and a controversial overturned foul call on Bridges. Still, Charlotte held firm for a gritty win against a struggling King squad.
