Welcome back to Believe in Badgers on the Believe Network presented by FanDuel and Oakbridge
Wealth Management.
I'm Matt Perkins joined as always by Badger Legend, the Hebrew Hammer himself, Matt Burns,
Steve Bernie.
How are we doing today?
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
Man, just exciting times, dude.
Listen, I just got an email from the Badger family to join us for the spring game or spring
visits.
You know, every time I get an email, it actually happens to be my job and it says something
that has to do with Wisconsin, which is why I have this job.
It makes me happy.
That's good.
It's good.
I'm excited for this season.
It's already marching.
I'm excited.
Well, Bernie, the title of this episode is going to be called a opium because I feel
like we're injecting a little bit of opium into our veins right now.
There's a variety of reasons for that.
For me, it's even off the Badger field because you can see I'm wearing a Ferrari hat today.
Formula One is back and the Ferrari looks good.
Lewis Hamilton and Charles LeClair, one, two in free practice, one yesterday.
The first race of the season is late Saturday night here and I will be up watching it down
in Australia, but that is not badger related.
That's just me personally getting excited for my other favorite sport besides football.
But you know what, we're starting with opium because Bernie, I think the people on the
Wisconsin's coaching staff have been listening to you.
What did you say a lot this fall that someone in my life listens to me?
I know.
I know.
I know.
Well, I think everyone has said it.
So I don't want to take credit.
No, I'm giving you credit, Matt Bernstein.
I'm giving you credit.
Well, I appreciate that.
Thank you.
I mean, listen, you know the culture was constant in the state.
It's football.
It really has always been that.
It always will be that it's important, you know, Saturday's for the Badger, Sundays
for Packers.
You know it.
You're a Jets fan, a bills fan wherever you are in this world.
If you're in Madison, Wisconsin, the Packers on Sunday rule and on Saturday, it is all
Bucky red.
Yes, it is.
And it's nice to see that they are actively trying to keep people in the state because
it's the way to build the culture.
It is.
And so what's exciting, you know, yesterday news drop that they have gotten a verbal
commitment from their fourth in state prospect from the 2027 cycle in Isaac Miller, who is
a very highly recruited edge rusher.
Like I said, that brings them to four, including two kids from Catholic Memorial Miller and
the safety Dustin Roach.
They've also already gotten obviously Ethan McIntosh, the offensive tackle and son of the
athletic director, Chris McIntosh, as well as course, Loken, who is one of the top titans
in the country out of Iowa, Scandinavia.
They've got offers out to four other in state prospects.
And if you listen to our man, Nick Oson over at Badger 2, 4, 7, which you should be, also
because I produce a show with him every week, you'll know that they feel like they're
in pretty good position for four more in state kids.
And if they land eight in state prospects in what will be the fourth recruiting cycle for
coach Luke fickle, that would be more than that one cycle than they've had in all of
the other cycles combined.
And to me, that tells me that Luke fickle is up for listening and adapting and changing
up his strategy a little bit and understands is really starting to understand what makes
the program go.
And so to me, that is why I'm injecting this hopeium straight into my veins because we know
that there have been issues on the field, obviously.
And you know, some people feeling like the program is disconnecting from the state.
Well, if you bring in these four guys, plus the Mallinger twins, Cole writer, the big
time offensive tackle from Germantown, as well as the tail back, Kingston Allen from Green
Bay, I think you're looking at sort of a resurgence in reinvigoration of the program
to getting, I don't want to say getting back to Barry ball or Barry style, but it, I think
that is going to go an awful long way.
Not just to rebuild the program, but also reinvigorate the fan base.
You got to do it.
I mean, it's just, there's no if ends or buts you have to go after Wisconsin kids.
It's the way, you know, in this day and age with, and it's everywhere, right?
It's systematic, systematic, systemic, systemic, it's Friday, dude, you know, my brains
are already like off, it's off on vacation, although weekends aren't vacations anymore.
It's systemic, right?
Like, these kids are bouncing around.
So how does a coach say, how am I going to adapt every single minute?
I would hate to be a coach right now.
I feel like it's a, it would be a nightmare, especially now, you know, Luke Fickles
on his on the hot seat fourth year.
But to me, what they have done makes me excited and gives me hope, right?
That's the whole point of this hope, you know, it gives me hope because we are, if we
get eight dudes, that's great.
That's like the start of it and, and, and you know what, Jake Wood did this for our group.
He started emailing people before email was a thing in 2000.
I mean, it sounds like McIntosh's kid is actively recruiting people to stay in the state
and do it.
And of course, Logan is really the person who spearheading this the tight end.
Right.
So, so that is positive, right?
Those are great things.
And you want to see the kids do that.
If you get eight guys and you pepper in some other dudes from around the country to fill
gaps.
That's amazing.
The question is now, you got to keep those kids.
You got to keep everyone happy.
You got, and that is a problem, not just for Wisconsin, for everywhere.
So I think the next step is, well, one, get these kids, lock it up.
And then the next step is, how are you going to keep these kids here?
How do you make them happy?
Is it only money or is there other?
And listen, I'm telling you, you could be a hero in Wisconsin.
Why would you want to be a hero anywhere else?
I don't know.
It's so exciting.
Like for me, I have a chair at Wanda's.
Do you know how cool that is for me?
Like, it might be selfish.
It might be like ego, but like, that's the coolest thing I could possibly ever want in
Wisconsin.
Outside of being like the hall of fame is a chair in a freaking bar and at Wanda's my
favorite place.
So, that's neither here nor there, but you could be a hero.
And if you stay and you play well, it's exciting, right?
I think you're seeing the investment.
To me is exciting.
I'm still going to keep going back to thinking of this.
Like, as long as we're not no injuries, we got our quarterback that we want.
We have linemen who are going to compete.
We have, we went and got a ton of defensive guys and we have the two leaders of our team
are the linebackers.
It's exactly what you should have.
I just, I'm just hoping that like, we need a Brooks Ballinger, right?
Maybe Colton Joseph could potentially be this guy, but like, you need a on the field
captain of the entire team.
And that is a Brooks Ballinger.
That's a Joe Thomas when we had him.
You know, there's guys who are close, right?
Like, like Don Tess is close because everyone follows him.
He was loud, you know, he's loud, Brandon Williams, but you need that pinnacle, dude, right?
And I think Wisconsin needs to find that guy.
It could be Mason Post, but I think it is on the defensive side.
He actually might be that dude because everything you see in, you know, like, he makes me excited
just to hear him speak.
Yeah, he's been doing some really good stuff in the media.
He's had some really fun interviews of late.
But for me, this shift back to focusing on Wisconsin is really good for the staff.
And I also think that, you know, they, they, they keep expanding this coaching staff with
the new rules that are in place where you can have more and more coaches on staff.
They announce a new what receivers coach and new, I think director of scouting and recruiting.
I forget the exact title that they have.
They've got a couple more on field assistants.
They're really building this out and, you know, finally bring it into 2026 college football
where, you know, they've been a little bit behind the pack when it comes to this other.
So if we've talked about spending here in NIL, a fair bit and how they've up their game
this season as well.
And I think that, you know, obviously, we've got spring ball coming around the corner.
And there are a ton of question marks everywhere outside the linebacker.
Let's face it.
And, you know, a lot of new faces and a lot of new places and a lot of new position groups.
But, you know, we're excited to see, you know, what guys like Robert Steeples are going
to do, right, as on the coaching side, we're excited to see what these new faces can bring
to the table.
I'm excited to see the growth of a lot of these younger guys, you know, I think about like
a Jameer Washington in the cornerback room.
I'm excited to see Eugene Hilton Jr. back and what he can do in his second year at Wisconsin
at the wide receiver position.
Obviously, you know, Daring Dupree, someone we really like at running back, you know, they've
got a couple of new faces in that running back room as well, going to see what happens
there.
And for me, obviously, I'm always talking about the offensive and defensive lines.
So I'm very curious to sort of have that starting five on the offensive line shakes out.
I think that, you know, there's a couple guys that maybe we can put in in pencil, but
I don't think there's anyone necessarily in pen yet on the offensive line.
So there's a lot of questions to be answered in spring ball, which we will get to.
Once spring ball really starts rolling around and we get some of those practice reports
from camp from, you know, all of our friends, whether it's Nick Oson, Jake Kokorosko or
at Badger Observer, John McNamara, any of those guys who are going to be out there covering
spring ball and the spring game and all that good stuff.
Here's a shift worth noting better health care is care that meets patients where they
are.
United Health Group is bringing it directly to living rooms.
This is a win for patients managing chronic conditions.
And here's the interesting thing.
By closing those care gaps, administering in-home exams and identifying risks earlier, more
diseases can be prevented and patient outcomes can improve.
In 2025, alone, United Health Group patients received over 19 million home visits.

We're going to hop back into the show today, actually right now as we record, bachelor
having their pro day.
Who and I have talked about the combine here before and the combine just ended.
Vinnie Anthony was out there at the combine, so it was Mason Riger, both those guys I think
acquitted themselves relatively well.
I think people would have liked to have seen Vinnie run a little bit faster.
I think he ran like a four five four in the 40 would have liked to see him in the four
fours probably, but Vinnie is a guy who also wins as a technician more so than a burner,
so I'm not super concerned about that.
I still think both those guys end up getting drafted mid to late rounds.
I think Riger probably maybe like a four through a fifth round guy, whereas Vinnie is a
six seventh round guy, but I think both of those guys are going to get drafted, going to
make NFL rosters, but a lot more guys than we're at the combine for Wisconsin will be at this
pro day today.
And so Bernie, I wanted, you know, the audience to hear a little bit of your pro day experience
because you obviously went to the combine and had, you know, and had had a great experience.
It was awful.
It was awful.
A great experience.
It was awful.
I can't understand how people run not as their best because when you do it, it's the
last day, and you've also done two or three days of other things, dude, you're always on
your toes.
You're uncomfortable.
It might be what the combine's built for us to like make people see if you can succeed
being uncomfortable.
I had a heart.
I mean, I think I was scored out as a D, like it was terrible, which I also think that's
BS, but neither here nor there.
We could talk about the grade.
You're also coming off of injuries.
D's get degrees, baby.
It doesn't matter.
Neither here nor there.
At the same time, Bernie, let's talk about the pro day because pro day, obviously, you're
on home turf.
It's a little bit more comfortable situation.
You're around your guys.
Yep.
Right.
So what was your pro day experience like?
I mean, listen, you're, it feels like a game day experience, you know, a little bit,
a little bit lighter, but it feels like that and it was nice to feel like that last,
you know, give it your all the last time in the building.
I mean, it really is.
So it was exciting.
It's better to get, you know, the weights, it was constant feel better than the weights
at the combine.
The turf feels better, you know, the running, everything, just, you're much more comfortable.
I did better in everything in Wisconsin, obviously, not like Reggie Bush, where they were
run downhill, but better, better than I did at the combine.
It's just a nice, you know, you're, you're there with your boys.
So it's a nice last thing, you're high five and people, you know, you're, you're doing
all those things.
So, so it's exciting.
You know, it's nice to watch.
You see a lot more on social media, Ben Barton did 33 reps, ridiculous.
The bench.
Yeah.
On the bench.
So I'm still mad.
He wasn't invited to the combine.
I've been saying this for a while.
I'm still mad him.
It sucks when I invited the combine.
But you know what?
You know what?
So yes and yes, I think that short, but this is the day for that him to say, it doesn't
matter what happened at the combine, or you can get some data points and say, you know,
hey, this is, I got to bust my butt to make 35 reps with, you know, he's, I think, tied
second.
So I do that.
That's, that's, there's a bar now set when you go to the combine.
So if any entity who's like, oh, I did 454, I think it was 454, 452.
He could say, well, I'm going to run a 4 4 today and he, and so he could offset that
to do this.
So I think it's a great day for, you know, Mason might say, I'm not going to do anything
today.
I already proved that I, so for them, it's nice.
They have something under their belt, but for other guys, you know what, what is going
to happen.
So easy for me is, I felt that pressure at the combine and I said, I can just, I know
I can do it.
So I'm just going to do it again here.
But yeah, then it was great to pull up and, you know, all these guys are there for you.
It's, it's kind of cool.
Yeah.
And also I feel like you've got your teammates around there, right?
Even guys who aren't competing in the pro day, you got your other teammates there, cheering
you on, rooting you on, hyping you up.
And I feel like that is also a benefit for the guys who are doing the workouts at pro
day.
Yeah.
I mean, it's, it's nice for younger guys to see that this is what, this is the goal, right?
To be at pro day.
Even if you are, you know, a special teams guy or your, the goal is to still be there and
participate.
Like, you know, cool.
That is for everyone.
It's, I think it's special, I think it's special to do at Wisconsin.
You know, I, I hope that it means something like it did for us because, you know, with
everyone in and out, you know, hopefully it's not a stop for people.
But yes, you're with your boys, you're getting cheered on, you go back to the locker room
and you take like one of your last showers.
I also would, would say take a moment and, and breathe in it because, you know, it ends
quick.
You know, the draft is coming up and once you get drafted or once the teams call you
a day after, you're gone, I mean, you're out of Madison quick and you can be living
somewhere.
So, you know, your locker gets cleaned out pretty fast.
So take a breath, enjoy it, just be there and, you know, just, just be successful in
the moment.
That's my, that would be my best advice.
Yeah.
Well, I was going to ask you what was your advice?
And you've already answered that question for me, that Bernstein, you know what, go and
have a good time afterwards.
You, you, you deserve it.
Don't get arrested.
I don't know if someone was making a joke about Fernanda Mendoza, but they suggested that
he get arrested because he sold a little bit too much, which I thought was really funny.
Now that, that, that may or may not have been a joke.
Also, it may have been so that he doesn't get drafted by the Raiders because no one should
want to go to the Raiders right now, given the state of that team, but also no one wants
it.
No one wants to be a judge.
No one wants to be a judge.
What's, what's your next, what's your second option?
Where I would rather go to the Raiders, and I'm a judge fan, was it, there's something
to be said about living in, in Las Vegas, you know, I personally would have, I, I can't
handle it.
I can't even stand.
No, not, you're not living on the strip, Matt Perkins.
What are you, some kind of degenerate?
Well, yes, but I'd be like, fat Tuesdays, every day is fat, he's giving me a milk, one
of those shakes.
No, I think, um, I think what's cool about one, the stadium is gorgeous.
It was just there.
It's beautiful.
They're bringing high level people to, to do concerts.
Yeah, I would want to, I see, I would have to be spending all my time at the sphere is
the problem.
Like, I would, I would just go to like, everything.
But you can do these things that to me, there's, there's like all this upside, right?
Everyone comes to do shows there.
You don't have to live, no one lives downtown.
I would doubt it.
You probably have a beautiful house or 250 grand, you know, like, you, there's all these
positives.
And if you turn that team around, you know, it's great.
I personally like the, the logo, I like wearing black shirts.
So for me, that works, um, I, I, I do, listen, I think it's a, it's a different market
than the Jets.
You know, you're coming to live in Jersey, everything's so, so much more expensive, everything, you
know, Fernando Mendoza from Miami, it's not like it's that different.
I think, uh, I think at Vegas, it, it's a good opportunity to turn a team around and
play for a pretty unique team, I mean, a, uh, program.
I, I don't know, to me, it seems, it seems like a, to me that, yes, the Raiders stink
right now.
Doesn't mean they're going to stink next year.
And I mean, for what you can do and live and you're going to be a high, you're going
to be a VIP on the strip, it's pretty cool, man.
Yeah.
I just, I personally get very overwhelmed by the strip.
It's just, it's too much stimulation for me, like the last time I was in Vegas, I had
to leave early because I couldn't like, I just got so overwhelmed by everything.
I was there with a cup of my buddies and we were there.
We played, I was there playing rugby and I, you know, we were supposed to stay another
night.
I was like, I, I physically can't do it.
I'm so overwhelmed.
And so we drove out.
Did they have F1 there?
Yeah.
Well, that, that is not a good spectator race.
I will, I will tell you that much.
That is not one of the, the, the good, I went for work and the F1 gets in the way of
everything.
It is, you know, it's, it's a weird place because it, it looks so small from far away.
And then you get there and it's like takes months to walk anywhere, like it's insane.
It seems closer than it is.
It seems farther, like you can't make, you can't have no idea, you know, the strip people,
it's like a highway.
Yeah.
Yeah, it is.
It's, it's, it's bonkers.
And if I'm going to an F1 race in the States, I'm going to Austin, that, that's where
I want to go.
Different story for a different time.
I can talk to one of the one all day.
I've got a tangent here.
Hey, listen, isn't that what we do?
It's what we do very well.
It is.
Did I tell you, I booked my flights?
I like cannot be, I'm thrilled right now.
I've three flights to Madison coming up that I know of.
So you're going to, so what are those?
Staff meeting in May, which I, I, I, I adore.
And then Michigan State for Homecoming and Rutgers.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'll be there for Rutgers with you.
We'll be doing a live show again, probably from Jace.
And we'll, we'll be having a good time with that.
I got my hotel for Rutgers this week.
I'm excited, you know, my dad's a Rutgers alum.
He's coming into town for the game.
So that'll be a lot of fun to have my dad there.
You know, I'm excited for, I'm excited for this fall for a variety of reasons,
because not just because we're going to be there and get to hang out together,
which is always the best part of it.
It is getting to see your boys, right?
Like going back and for you seeing your former teammates, for me,
you know, seeing you hanging out with my former rugby teammates
and doing all that fun stuff, but just the atmosphere.
And I'm, I'm super pumped, though, for this fall.
It was because I think we're going to see, I mean, again,
hope him, we're going to see a better product on the field.
I'm very, yeah.
Let's go back.
I want, I need to hear what you think spring practice should be like.
What do you mean by that?
Like I, my vision of what the spring practice should be like is, is Navy SEALs training.
Like you need to turn up this milk or cream to get perfect butter.
And you know, fickle says a competition, competition.
I think it needs to be amped up.
I think you've got to leave spring saying, we have a product.
Where don't need fall practice?
We've got this thing.
We're going to refine it in fall and get better.
But I think, I think these guys need to really grind.
And I know they do it, but I feel like there needs to be like a little bit of an emphasis on.
And maybe this comes from Mason or some of the team to say, guys, every rep is a hundred percent.
Like we need, we have injuries.
There shouldn't, I mean, it's too much to, we can't take another year like we've had.
It just won't be good for everyone's psyche.
The coaches, the team.
I don't think it's going to happen.
That's why I'm hopeful because I think we got a squad that's put together much differently
with 22 coaches.
We, my group text is like, we have five guys on offense.
And that probably was true.
You know, like you had a wide receivers, tight ends, line, running backs, quarterbacks, six.
I think that was it.
Now you got five.
That's five, Matt Bernstein.
Is that five?
Yeah.
Got it.
Holy moly.
It's my, I can count it six, I have six fingers on my left hand somehow.
See, five coaches and you know, running backs with a coach right was the offense coordinators.
It's all right there.
I don't know because I don't have that experience of having 11 guys maybe on each side of the
ball.
But I could only think that more eyes means more refinement and more coaching and more
eyes on a, on a rep that says more, more brains, more, you know, football brain saying,
oh, do this.
Do this.
Here's piece of advice.
So I'm hopeful.
I don't know if it's overkill or not, but this is what every team's doing.
So it's just the way it is.
But I think spring practice needs to be 18 practice or 14 practice wherever there are
a lot of 15 practice.
I think it is of hard grind.
And I think you come out in the spring game and show people what they should expect.
I hope that they are hitting more.
I hope that they, it's physical.
I guess that, that's what I want.
Like you say grinding, I say physical, I want, you know, they're the competition to
not just be, yeah, like I'm running faster than you, I'm lifting heavier than you, whatever.
I want it to be, I'm hitting you in the whole harder than you are hitting me.
And that elevating, yes, you do risk probably a little bit more injury that way.
But at the same time, I feel like you need that mindset to be successful in the big
10s, you know, we practiced hard, hard.
I mean, you look at, go back, we did inside drill every practice.
Sometimes more than once, we practice, we did team, we did goal and we were in full
pack on Tuesdays, at least during the season, we were on half pack on Wednesdays.
Hitty, I actually think I'm on the other side.
You might get soft tissue stuff like ice hitting a muscle or something, but in my experience,
you have less injuries because you are playing at the, at the level, or whatever you're,
you're playing at your 100.
So things don't happen like that.
I mean, that's, that's it, you know, you always see people get hurt.
It's usually on some doofed out thing that's like, oh, sometimes on control, but a lot
of times, if you're practicing 100 on every single rep, you might not get that.
So I don't know what that looks like.
You know, we've seen the quarterbacks go down and they all seem kind of outrageously
doofy, but I think you got to go 100.
I would like to see that the quarterbacks not run anymore because I mean, I think you
need to have that in your quiver, do all these new words, but I don't think you should
use it unless you need to, right?
John Stockow ran once and it was one of the best runs in college, you know, and Wisconsin
history against Michigan.
He probably ran a couple more times, but like, you don't need to, you, you can have it
and have defensive, you know, they have to play against it.
Yeah, you're not going to, you're not going to hit the quarterbacks, obviously.
They're, they're rang of black noncontactors, you know, yes, but I'm saying just in general,
like we don't, I think our offense has the right people.
It doesn't, Colin Joseph or Carter Smith shouldn't be the dudes running the football
five, six times a game.
That's how you're going to get a quarterback who's not used to taking hits hurt.
I'm just saying you got to play a hundred, you got to take those hits, spring ball is
the best time to do it.
And I think it needs to be Navy seals.
I mean, these, these guys need to be put through the ringer because the season is a ringer
all season long.
It's upstounds and look at what happened last season as a role coaster.
And get these dudes right now, there's a lot of question marks at least for us.
They might, in the coaches might say, no, we got this locked up.
These are the starters, but I would assume that that's not true, right?
You have all these new guys.
I would, I mean, because you can't, no, especially with this amount of transfers and this
amount of freshmen coming in whatever, however many new, new faces, 40 something, you
know, like nearly half your team is new faces.
You can see them in workouts, but until they step on the field, you can't really make
those assessments.
And so, you know, there are, you know, guys I've mentioned that I'm excited to see and hear
about and get the reports about.
And a lot of these transfers, it's going to be, okay, how are they adapting to the new
system?
How are they adapting to the new culture?
How are they, you know, what are they bringing to the field that maybe we didn't see on
tape when we were bringing them in from the portal?
How are these, how are these freshmen, you know, who were freshman last year?
How have they grown?
As you know, Matt Bernstein, the biggest leap you're going to make is a player typically
is between year one and year two.
By far, and spring practice is when you do it, you've, now typically you've had a year
under your belt at a program, like from he was at Wisconsin, getting beat up the whole
time, but working out and learning.
And then you go to spring ball where you're, you're now put into positions to play real
football and you have to learn and execute.
And for me, that, that spring, the culture's always set at there, this is how you're going
to play, this is how you start, this is how you get on the field, is that spring, spring
ball.
And it was always elevated under barriers, elevated, when I, when, then when I became,
you know, fourth, third, fourth, fifth year starter, spring was different.
I mean, it's, it's, it's kind of refining some things and polishing some things, but
it really was to get who's next, you know, when, for me, because you, you, you had me,
fourth year, you didn't need somebody else, but you did need Greg Rueh to get reps and
Chris Presley eventually, right?
And Rhett Meester, Josh Balls, like you needed those dudes to get these high level reps
against the ones and twos, God forbid something happened or God forbid you going to play tailback
and you need the full back to come in and play.
So I think it, it's different levels, but we are not in a place that we have that, right?
Colton Joseph is a high level, I, I don't know him, but he's a high level dude.
We brought in paying a lot of, a lot of zeros.
He's, I'm proving that Wisconsin.
And I'm not, that's not a bad thing.
It's just a, it's just where we are.
He's, he's coming in new.
Everyone needs to have the hot calls under their feet.
Line, I mean, we have so many question marks.
We were not good on offense.
If I'm just going to stick with offense for now, we weren't good.
We got to be better.
That is putting these dudes in live, am a live fire practice situations and letting them
just grind, coach them up and, you know, get on the film, get in the weight room.
But practice, when you have shoulder pads and helmet on is one, I mean, I need it to
be 120%.
That's, that's where my head's at because you don't have a starter who's been there for
five years or four years.
You don't, like, Bound your, it need to take all these reps.
Sworge, you didn't even need to take this one.
Who's the next guy, right?
And it's where you develop your dudes who you can then trust in, in the season when you
need them.
This is where we need to find the backup quarterbacks and the competitions that need to happen
to elevate a guy to be a starter or elevate guys to switch out if they can both do it.
So I think this spring should be unlike any other because everyone is, dude, I even
feel the heat a little bit.
I'm more hopeful than I've ever been, which kind of puts more heat on me because I want
us to be good, but we gotta go out and do it.
Well, I think we're both hopeful and I, like I said, Bernie, like we said this so many
times, but I'm excited.
Like, you know, I am, you know, as pessimistic as I was at times last year.
Come full circle, baby.
And that's why we're here, injecting that hope into our veins.
We'll be back again next week here on Believe in Badgers, part of the Believe Network, presented
by Fandall and Oak Bridge Wealth Management to, you know, more interviews, talking, you
know, the fallout from pro day, maybe talk a little bit NCAA tournament once we know
where Wisconsin is going to be seated, you know, basketball's exciting, man, basketball
is jackal and hide, man, though, like they can, they can be anyone and they can lose to anyone.
It really just, you know, to me, it comes down to one thing and that is their turnovers.
When they win the turnover battle, they win the game.
When they lose the turnover battle, they get blown out.
It's really that simple for me, but I'll be, you know, we'll be locked into that.
We'll be locked into everything happening out of spring camp and more, but we appreciate
