Historic Station Site Turned into Dump

0:00On April 19th, fly-tippers have turned a historic old railway station site near Dunmo and Essex into a nightmare dump. They've piled up a five-foot high wall of trash, stretching more than 80 meters along Flitchway at the former Felstead station. We're talking furniture, packaging, fridges, the works. Total chaos on land, the council cleared before. This spot's been hit by illegal dumping for over 10 years, but local say it's never been this bad. The site got a high-end renovation once, but now it's just a trash shell that could have been a cafe or restaurant like one nearby. Villagers are furious, calling it a total disgrace and complete eyesore that's ruined a beautiful historic building. A cyclist on the brain tree path named Aiden Kelly says, folks are angry, the council seems hands off, labeling fly-tipping a blight nobody's tackling. Right now, the property is up for sale through Auction House East Anglia for 700,000 pounds with planning permission for eight new homes. If it sells, the new owners clear it in three weeks and secure it against more dumping.
