Historic Bridge Gets £250K for Repairs

Instead, officials chose to preserve it as a path for walkers and cyclists. Local leaders call this funding a big win that keeps the project moving through planning and more fundraising. The cash will cover new timber decking and bracing, plus fixes to the iron and stone parts, along with panels to explain the bridge's story.
