HIDING PLACES

About this episode

It is interesting to watch the smaller birds like the juncos and chickadees when they come to the feeders. They like places to escape and hide from larger predatory birds. Tightly packed bushes are favorites. It is also interesting how people try to hide from others, like moving from place to place or not sharing their gifts and talents.

0:00Welcome to this message from the mountain, coming to you from the foothills of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Today's podcast is titled Hiding Places. It's interesting to observe smaller birds like chickadees and the junkos that are easy prey for hawks and bigger birds, and they found some bushes that the big birds probably can't get into, where they can hide in plain sight, a safe place for them. They have other places where they like to hide too, and I think about hiding and where people hide. A lot of people moved to this area to hide from life itself. We've seen that for many years because it's the mountains and nature. They find that they hope they can start a different way of living, but usually the old habits come back a little bit. Some people hide inside of their mind, some people hide inside of their body, grow themselves

1:00to a way to protect them. Just interesting to study how nature provides hiding places for the animals and birds, and people adapt to hiding places for themselves. My name is Michael Athaway, and this is a message from the mountain. Just by praying these words are right and good for you and to hear them. Thank you so much for listening.
