Hibs Unveils Domed Training Hub: Ormiston Expansion

Hibernian Football Club is rolling out big expansion plans for their training grounds in Ormiston, East Lothian.

The key upgrade is a new dome covered artificial football pitch, plus beefed up changing rooms and club facilities.

Their eye nearby, agricultural land, at East Main's to make it all happen.

On top of that dome, expect fresh outdoor pitches, a bigger car park, new footpaths, lighting and CCTV for security.

This builds out their current setup into a top tier training hub.

The club has called Ormiston home for nearly 20 years and they've been hashing out this growth for over a year, including land deals.

To hear community input, Hibbs is hosting public exhibitions at the Colgate on the wind in Ormiston.

First one's April 20th, from 4pm to 8pm, with a second on May 18th, same hours. Folks can drop feedback right there.

Design team members will field questions and collect comments to tweak things before a formal pitch, to East Lothian Council.
