Hezbollah-Linked Brother Attacks Michigan Synagogue

Israel's military says the man behind last week's attack on a Michigan synagogue was the brother of a Hezbollah commander killed in an airstrike. Aiman Muhammad Ghazali, a 41-year-old U.S. citizen, drove his car into the building near Detroit before exchanging gunfire with security, and then taking his own life. The strike happened on March 5 in Lebanon, targeting the home of Ibrahim Ghazali, the alleged commander. It also killed Ibrahim's two children Ali and Fatima, plus another brother named Kasim. Elevonese official confirmed the deaths, which occurred just after sunset. No one inside the synagogue was hurt, thanks to strong security measures in place. The FBI calls it an act of violence against the Jewish community, but says it lacks evidence so far to label it terrorism. Ghazali had come to the U.S. in 2011 on a family visa and became a citizen in 2016.
