I'm Corey, and this is your Pulse of the City, Sydney News today. Police have located a crashed helicopter in remote Bushland in northern New South Wales after a multi-agency search that stretched over several days. The aircraft took off from a gold coast around 9 a.m. yesterday, heading to Mudgey, but never arrived, prompting reports of a missing late that. Night. Search teams face tough terrain, including dense bush north of Tenterfield, with police, late-emergency service crews, a rescue helicopter, and volunteer rescuers combing the area by air and on foot. Around 2 p.m. today, officers spotted the wreckage about 55 kilometers north of Tenterfield near Cataract National Park, but the pilot, a man, in his mid-70s was not inside. The search for the pilot resumes tomorrow, while the Australian Transport Safety Bureau steps in to probe what caused the crash. DNN is sponsored by our partner.
