Fox weather. Fox weather meteorologist Bunga Lestemy with you in America's weather center, a powerful wind event is set to howl across the Northern Plains Tuesday and Wednesday. Behind a fast-moving load, we're bracing for wind gusts over 50 mph from Montana into the Dakotas and into Monosoda. Some spots could even see 90 mph wind gusts, and that making travel extremely difficult. Watch for isolated power outages as these Pacific winds roar through. And spring is taking a backseat as a late winter chill settles in over the northeast through Wednesday. We're tracking light snow for Sarah Cucin Buffalo, New York with a few flakes even possible in Boston and Albany. Temperatures diving 20 degrees below average by midweek, leaving New York City and interior regions with wind chills struggling to get out of the 20s.
