About this episode
Most authority figures overseeing vulnerable individuals are doing their best — but what happens when the system is exploited? Fierce Manson exposes a troubling pattern: caregivers, medical professionals, and even family members profiting from others’ suffering, with little accountability or oversight. This episode will challenge your perceptions of ethical caregiving and highlight the urgent need for third-party oversight in cases of dementia, Alzheimer's, and elder care. When is it acceptable for a healthcare professional to delegate critical responsibilities without benefit? And when does it cross the line into abuse? Fierce dives deep into the gray areas of authority, sharing real stories and raising alarm about how some use their position to do nothing while taking everything. She discusses the dangerous parallels to slavery—exploiting someone’s labor and reaping all the rewards—and argues passionately for mandatory third-party oversight, especially in sizable estates.

I don't need no Mad dog 2020 even if that's what they still call it these days I don't need none of that honey. Don't need none of that. Listen, I got that stuff all down in my toes And all the way up to my nose from my toes to my nose From way back in the day, I still got some carrot on both sides of my hips So anytime I need some juice, all I got to do is say oh let me pull some out of my toes Cause it's still some reservoir down there in my toes From when I was drinking the mad dog 2020 way back in the day and the gray goose So I don't need that baby. You know, especially on Sammy, I can say his name cause he say he say listen, fierce you are crazy You are a hoot and he say your rants are just crazy wow. So I'm gonna do a rant y'all And right now I've been doing a rant on health care because there's something that's going on in health care That I just really can't stand you know what I mean I don't like for people to listen. I see a nice we need to give them a shout out to all the certified nurses assistant The good ones now we got some good CNNs. We need to get them a shout out because some of them are so really good And they really care about their folks listen I want I can't say her name cause she have not given me the okay And I haven't said I was going to shout out her name but listen If I could I would shout out her name cause this girl so sweet She's so beautiful and so kind when I was staying with someone and helping them out and taking care of her
I could call that girl. I would tell my mom. I would call that girl on the telephone She would help me out over the telephone. I don't still I'm still very impressed You know, no, I'm still impressed with her because listen, she was so genuine It's nothing like being genuine and being authentic And you know, when you're helping somebody you really want to help them and you being genuine You know, we can feel that you can feel being genuine and authentic So I really appreciate her. I still appreciate her. I haven't finally recovered This 2026 I'm just not recovering Woo! Laura! You know you know something so let me let me stop random and raving Because people love the random raving But listen, I'm going to say this day I'm going to move on to the music. I'm going to move on to the music So listen, y'all, we have to give, uh, do We have to get people credit where with us do So that young lady, she made my job so much better She could work over the phone with a patient, real ease and so kind But now, those that didn't do what they should have been doing, I'm going to bite their heads off
I really, I'm going to bite their head off, so I'm serving nobody's I'm going to bite their head off You know, some people, some people professors have worked at a city college in Chicago You know, teaching different things in the medical field They teach these things in the classroom You know, I don't believe in teaching something in the classroom And then you do something for somebody and you hold a whole different person To me, that's just ridiculous I don't like things done in the secret So listen, if you're teaching a subject in a classroom And you've got a person, a patient that you're taking care of, you're supposed to get in person But now, don't be mean to the person that's in the household with that person You're going to be mean to them Say, well, you're just trying to get you some rest That's not nice, that's not nice Now, how was it? You are a 30-year vet in the healthcare industry And you know, a healthcare and caregiving is not easy And this, you know, you are a 30-year vet in the healthcare industry And you tell a caregiver, what? That you're just trying to get rest?
Give me a break here So I said, I got something for this one I'm going to give them two black eyes You know what I mean? So listen, that's so mean and nasty Who would tell a caregiver something like that? That you just need to, you're just trying to get some rest You know, you text somebody, you call them for some help At two or three o'clock in the morning and you tell why you're just trying to get rest That is the most mean thing ever But it's somebody like So listen, don't do those things, don't do those things And listen, these things happen, these things And you know why? I'm writing them and raping about this Because I remember when I was going to build, and I'm going to get to the music I'm going to play Batmone Rising, Batmone Rising I remember when I was working with Bill Winston Ministries Here in Chicago in Forest Park I used to belong there church some time ago And I would belong there for a long time It was back in the day when Crapflow Dollar was the real Crapflow Dollar So let me tell you this, let me tell you real quick and fast I used to work in the prep, my thing is the prep minister
And I was show up, I would show up, they had gave me the code If you're working in the prep ministry and they punching the code, going to the little room And people would call in for whatever they needed And I remember this, let me tell you something This lady, this lady, my heart just bled and was torn hard This lady called and I got the call And she says, I ain't really need print, she was crying and crying and crying Her aunt, true story, I cannot make this up This lady had taken care of her aunt for many years Stayed in the home, took care of her for many years You know what happened? When her aunt passed away, her sister came in, cleaned out everything, cleaned out the bank accounts Because she had the authority to do that She cleaned out the bank accounts, she cleaned out the house, did not give that girl anything that was saying in the home And she took care of their aunt from the day she was there until once she didn't give her anything And she was telling me the story over following And all I could do was minister her, pray for her, and try to console this woman
But you know, and here I am, you know, 25 years down the road It's like, oh my god, you know, similar situation, it's just while creating Now that's a true story, that's really true, that's a real story This lady was broken up, you know, because she had gave all these years And all she had was a lot of health challenges from taking care of the family That's a true story, that happened at Bill Winston Ministries and Forest Park Forest Park, I could tell you a whole lot of stories like that, that happened at Bill Winston Ministries And so listen, that's a hard thing, so listen I got a great song that I'm going to play for you It's Bad Moon Rising, Bad Moon Rising, Bad Moon Rising I want you to, it's a cover song by Molly, Molly Independent Artist And recording all this, Molly Durant, take a listen to this Bad Moon Rising I'll see your bad moon rising I'll see trouble along the way
I'll see your earthquakes and lightning Oh, I'll see bad times today Oh, don't go around tonight Well, it's bound to take your life Oh, there's a bad moon There's a bad moon There's a bad moon on the rise Oh, there's a bad moon There's a bad moon There's a bad moon on the rise I knew you'd look, it came to blow away on I know the end is coming soon
I want you to, it's overflowing Oh, I hear the voice of raging wind Oh, don't go around tonight Well, it's bound to take your life Oh, there's a bad moon There's a bad moon There's a bad moon on the rise Oh, there's a bad moon There's a bad moon There's a bad moon on the rise OaaaaAah Ooooooh Ooooooh
Ooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
There's a bad moon, there's a bad moon on the ride. Oh my God. If I could do half, if I could do half, what Molly does, I'd be doing all right. That's bad moon rising, that's bad moon rising. You know, when it comes to singing, I'm gonna tell you this. Frank, and I can say his name without any problem. So Frank, Frank, there's a witch in one person that I've managed. Frank, Frank has given me voice lessons and it's been about two and a half months since I was doing voice lessons by email and voice recording. And so one of the songs I've done a cover song, the name of the project is Retro 3.0, Retro 3.0. And it's named after me and my two brothers, Retro 3.0. And so what I did, what I'm doing is taking all songs from the 80s and 90s, doing cover songs and put it to this piece of work, this project.
Retro 3.0. And Frank Bell Lucha is my voice person, my voice person, to do voice lessons. And so one of the songs, he says, well I don't know that, it's a Natalie Cole song. One of the songs is a Natalie Cole song. I sent him the recording. He sends it back to me, I can't make this up. He sends it back to me. And he says, I don't know that song. And he says, I want you to do Barbra Streisand. He says, well your voice is too Barbra Streisand as a practice. I was so offended, not offended, but I was so annoyed that he said he didn't know a Natalie Cole song. I was like, hey I know Natalie Cole song. And so I'm like, you know that was like, it took me time to calm down. So I'm like, but the Natalie Cole song is what I'm doing. So why would you have me practice proper Streisand? I'm like Lord Jesus Christ.
So you never know the method of somebody's madness. And Frank Bell Lucha is awesome. I love this guy. I love this guy. And you know, I can barely say his name without singing it. And every time I promote him and say something about Frank Bell Lucha, I always sing his name. So listen, he's awesome. He knows what he's doing. I know that he knows what he's doing. I know that I know that I know I know he knows what he is doing. He lives in Costa Rica. He lives in Costa Rica. He knows what he's doing. So listen, anytime he put out piece of work, it sounds like an orchestra. It really does. It sounds like an orchestra. But tell, I'm going to tell you there is no orchestra. This man is just that good. When he puts out a piece of music, you think there's a full blown orchestra behind him playing. But there is not. He's just that dog going good. So listen, it's going to take me a minute to send him back some Bob Streisand. So anyway, I got to get on up out of here. I got to get on up out of here. So listen, I do need to tell you guys. I will be sitting down with Dr. Ronda Lawson.
