Earlier reports had him listed as probable, but the team updated his status to out. Officials called it a precautionary move. Howe has been a key player, appearing in 100-A games overall. This season alone, the junior has started all 32 contests, while averaging 17.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He's posted double figures over 20 points in 12 outings this year. Missing him is rare, as it's only the second time a Gators starter has sat out and the first during SEC play. Florida hopes to stay strong without him against the bulldogs, keeping their solid run alive on the court.
