Haugh Returns, Gators Face Kentucky

0:00On March 7th, Florida star-forward Thomas Howe is back in action for today's matchup against Kentucky. The junior, who averages 17.1 points per game, sat out his first college game Tuesday and a big win over Mississippi State due to a lower body injury. Coach Todd Golden had been optimistic all along and Howe was clear just two hours before tip-off. Golden mentioned howe looks sharp in practice and should play unless something unexpected happened. With his key role, the Gators might limit his minutes to be safe. That could mean more time for freshman CJ Ingram and sophomore Isaiah Brown, who both stepped up big without him. Ingram, son of former Gator Cornelius Ingram had his best game yet against the Bulldogs. He played a season-high 13 minutes, scored eight points with three assists, and sparked an 18-to-nothing run that flipped the game. Brown has been a steady 8th man lately, making plays on both ends.
