I need to know, did Payton get married over the weekend.
27Yeah, it's all over the news. Tell Payton and Kadeem, congratulations, those are all text messages. So they got married in Vegas. I don't know what you call it. Does it fit under the definition of eloped? I think so. No, no family was there. Right, so he loved me as nobody knows, right? I think it loved me as it's just you too, I believe. Oh, I don't know. But I guess not. That was a pretty quick. Well, for sure. Well, Amy eloped in Las Vegas. Am I right, Amy? Yes, you are very right. And tell us the story. So we went to Las Vegas. We've been together for almost 10 years and decided it was time bought a house, did all the things. And so we went to Las Vegas, and my husband is a huge Star Wars fan. So we decided to have Darth Vader Marius at the, um, he's a Las Vegas chapel and Vegas. That's amazing. Does Darth Vader sign it as Darth Vader? He was dressed as Darth Vader.
27He was dressing. Didn't you just legal name on the actual certificate? But on our souvenir certificate, he signed it as Darth Vader. That's so fun. How cool are you to do that that happened? I, you know, I get my way pretty much all the time. So I thought, ah, I can, I can make a confession on this one. That's so good. Thanks, Amy. Thanks for sharing that story with us. Mary K, you eloped as well. Hi, good morning, what's I did? What's your story? It's kind of a crazy one. So, um, on a van, we ran off to Vegas, asked a friend to be a witness. We managed to get the same day at the courthouse an appointment before the justice appeased to get married. So, Brandon Vegas got married, went on the zip line over free months. Got back in the car, went back to Phoenix only to get into a car accident in Kingman
27that totaled the car. And mind you, this was December 5th, excuse me, December 19th of 2015. So, it was right before Christmas. Yeah, it was, it was in King's crazy little allotment there that we did. But everybody's okay after you told your car, no pain. Oh, yeah. Yeah, thank God we were all okay, but you know, unfortunately we didn't last. Oh, okay, we remain friends. It's, it's a fact. It's the car accident thing. Bad luck. Maybe it was God's hand. What are you doing? If you get in the car accident on your wedding day in Kingman, all right, thanks Mary. You give me an idea. So, I'm going to start doing something. When you ever you do a reference date like she said 2015, I want to be able to say, you know, before COVID, because people, whatever the people tell you a story about 2019, 2020, they'll always go. You before COVID. Yeah, I'm going to do whatever I tell you about it. You remember? Oh, yeah, I graduated high school, whatever. Wait before COVID. Just to let them know. Bob, what's up?
27You low up as well? Bob. Hello. Hey, how's it going? Hey, Bob. Uh-oh. Well, you're on there. Yeah, you're on there. Go ahead. What's your story? Hey, all right. There we go. Yeah. So, hey, so yeah, so back in 2011, my wife and I, we were planning a. You hear me? Yeah, go ahead. I should have said. Go ahead. Go ahead. Yeah. So back in 2011, we were planning a wedding up in Sedona. We're both back from the Midwest and our families were. Going to have a hard time getting back to for the wedding. So my wife calls me up one day at work and she says, how about we just ditch the wedding and go out to Vegas and get married? So I was like, OK, sounds good. So this is the second marriage for both of us. So my kids were at their moms and. So we took her daughter over to her dad and. We went and stopped at Jared and picked out a ring. We left Mesa at about 9 p.m.
29And we got up to Caesar's palace at about 3 a.m. And checked into the hotel dog tired from all that driving. And told them what we were doing. They upgraded us. To a nicer room, which was, which was great. Got maybe three, four hours of sleep. Got up, went to the courthouse to get the paperwork. Went over to the little white chapel. And got married by guy with dreadlocks. And a nice 90 year old lady playing Elvis on the piano. And perfect. Oh, it was it was the most it was the best day ever. Like it was it was just fantastic. And then after the wedding. And you know, we didn't have to get like dresses. We didn't have to get you have to suit. I mean, like a polo shirt and khaki shorts getting married. It was the best. And after the wedding. The limo driver was. What was not was busy or something.
31So they have like a pink convertible Cadillac. That's all done up. And so they're like, hey, we'll take you back to Caesar's palace. And this thing. Well, it sounds great. So here we are driving down the strip of Vegas. And this convertible teen Cadillac with all these people yelling out. Congratulations to us. And it's a huge palace. And of course, when you're in Vegas, you got a gamble for a little bit. And while we were in the car too, that's when we called our parents. And said, hey, by the way, you don't need to come out here. And we've got married already. That's awesome. That's a great story. That's awesome. That's fantastic. And then what? Oh, oh, okay. Good. Our special guest is here. Oh, I'm so excited. I'm so excited. Special guest. Special guest is here. And we're going to. It's. So here's what we need real quick. We're going to get ready for a minute to win it. We got a thousand bucks in Pat Hickey and Peoria for it. It could be yours. But if you can answer Rich's 10 questions in 60 seconds, you got a minute to win it. We'll do it after Libya Dean called 877-937-1047.
33All right. It's John Tane Rich. And it's a very special day today because it is St. Patrick's Day. And we have a live bag, bagpiper. Bagpiper. That's the right way to say it. Bagpiper or just piper. Just a piper. And where are you from? I'm from Phoenix. You grew up here? Yep. I've got Scottish heritage in the family. But I'm from Phoenix. Oh, yes. The bagpipes are Scottish. And people can hire you. Yeah. I'm Irish today only. But usually I just kind of go with the Scottish thing. Yeah. How do people hire you if they want to hire? My website, which is bagpiperaerazonah.com. Appreciate for it. Yeah. Can we. Let's hear it. Let's hear just a normal Scottish song. I mean, normal too. And then I'd like to go over some of the songs we went over in your. Okay. All right. Yeah, this is a good Scottish song. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So. Yeah.
33Yeah. Yeah. You said that just like that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, wait. We talked about a couple songs. We'll play name that tune and I believe only Rich will get these songs. But there is a chance that one of you guys might get one of the songs. Would you mind playing one of the songs and name that tune? What do you got? It's you in the Irish version of Black Sabbath Acyron Ben.
44Was that we will rock you? That was, that was it. It's better with drums. Can you do the third one is my favorite. Okay. Oh, I don't know what that is. Oh, that was just not believing. That was, I missed one. No, I missed one. No, but I just learned it two days ago. Is everything in the same key when you play a bag? Everything's it is, huh? Is that an all in D? It's B flat. G flat. The most part. Yeah. Okay. So what's your website again to hire you? Yeah. It's bagpipeur Arizona dot com. I do. Busy all day. Yeah. What about the rest of the year? The rest of the year. I do events throughout the week. I throughout the weeks. I do use weddings on the weekends
46and funerals during the week. So that's what I do. Yeah. You have a beautiful head of hair. I appreciate that. I worked really hard on it today. Thank you. Well, thank you for coming in. Thank you to Beth and friends for letting us borrow you for this morning. So thank you guys. I appreciate you. Yeah. Thank you very much. Okay. We got to play minute to win it. That was fun. All right. We got Christine on the line. Hi, Christine. Hi. Good morning. All right. You played for a thousand bucks. Okay. I'm ready. I'm ready. Okay. I think you, Peoria, for you gave us a thousand dollars. I want to give it to you. Just get ten questions right in a row in 60 seconds and you win. Christina, are you ready? Let's go. Who is the current? Who is the current vice president of these United States of America? In shady bands. What is the name of the trophy awarded to the winner of an Academy Award? I'm Golden Globe. Oh, I'm sorry. Oh, my God.
47Okay. Well, hold on a line. We are going to set you up with a prize. Hold on a second. Thank you. Yeah, you got it. We're going to set you up with the spring break deal. We're doing next week. Corona Beach Club. That's it. Look. You guys still hear the bagpipes in your ears. It's like still ringing for me. Corona Beach clubs, sunbar, tempi, lessen. So next week, right? So next week. That's right. Thursday. Next week. Did you be just going to be there? She's at paint and the whole kiss crew is going to be there. It's invite only. So we're going to set her up with that. Also call her 14 if you want to go. 877-937-1047 will sit you up with that too. Same Patrick's Day. St. Paddy's Day. What do you think is the right way to spell St. Paddy's Day? Oh, like we need teas or teas. Yeah, with teas or teas. It's weird because Patrick is a tea, but that's tricky because I've always seen a paddy. I always use teas. It's D. St. Paddy's Day with two teas is generally considered the more accurate than St. Paddy's Day. And there's a reason
50because it's actually not St. Patrick's Day. It's seen something in the word as well. Oh, really? The whatever the word is with the D. You got to go back probably like 5,000 years ago. Okay. So Patrick's Day is like the shortened version of whatever the actual one is. Yes. Okay. Also, they did a research on luck. So into which state is the luckiest and which state is the unluckiest? So it's considered pure luck for stuff like lottery wins, lightning strikes, Irish population percentage, financial luck, cost of living in affordability, and lifestyle and safety luck, natural disasters, car accidents and divorce rates. They took all that in consideration to come up with the luckiest states and the unluckiest states. In the end, the luckiest state in the United States is New Hampshire. I was number two followed by Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Illinois, Indiana, Rhode Island, Michigan, and Connecticut. The unluckiest state is Texas. California is the runner up. Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Nevada, New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. And I don't see Arizona anywhere in there.
51So we're just kind of like laying low in the middle. And speaking of lucky and unlucky, let's hear about Carl's morning this morning. I would say on the surface, you would think it was unlucky, but I'm taking it as it was very lucky. So driving into work, I usually take I 10 off of rigs and head in towards downtown. And I got onto the on ramp around, say like 520. And I was there for like, oh, it took me an hour and a half to get to work today. Oh my goodness. It takes about 20 to find out what happened exactly. Yeah. So I drove past it. There was a pretty terrible accident involving a semi truck that had flipped over it. It looked like a semi truck. There was something on the on ramp. And maybe he went over the on ramp and then onto traffic. So yeah, supposedly Noah actually looked up. I always called Noah because Noah has like he has traffic cams on his bookmark on his computer. And he was like giving me the update. Like at first, I was really worried because we were not moving. It was like dead stand still for
54a very long time. And like there must have been a fatality. Like this is like on St. Patrick's Day, like how terrible. And he was giving me the update. He's like, no, just minor injuries. But yes, it did definitely stop traffic. It was covering the whole thing to move it over. When you were calling us this morning, seeing you run late, I was I had this like moment of like people stuck in traffic and listening to our show. And how grateful I am. So thank you for listening. If you were stuck because I know it must be a bummer to be stuck and trying to figure out what's going on. Looking for the entertainment. And you're listening to us. So thank you so much for listening. Because Noah sent me a picture of the traffic cam too. And I just saw bumper to bumper traffic. And I was like, man, there's a I hope there's a good chance they're listening to this radio station to 1047 kiss FM. Thank you. Anyway, um, I have to tell you guys about a couple TV shows I'm watching that I just think are really, really good. And it's one of them is paradise. Season two paradise. I think is better than season one. It is so far. It's so I have to go back and watch season one because I've they lost me. I know. I was watching the most recent episode. And
55I was thinking of you. If you if you have no idea. Because like the woman in season two, she's like a female Elon Musk. She's a trillionaire. And she knows there's things happening. They're going to end the world so she builds a city in a mountain for 20,000 people. Right. So that's season one and who gets picked and how that happens. And then season two is just it's I didn't think season two. I thought this shows the over. There's no way they're going to go into the locking dead, but they haven't. And it's really, really good because it's about characters of storyline. The other show I'm watching and I highly recommend this show. It's on Amazon Prime. It starts in the cold kibmen. It's called Scarpeto. And she's a medical examiner and she's trying to catch a serial killer. And it is so good. And he's reminding me of bringing this up is because you brought up Noah. And I feel like all these shows have a have a Noah where there's a person that has access to computers. Yeah, like there's a girl on the show. And they but they they give you the credibility. They show there's a lot of flashbacks. And the flashbacks, the girls like 13 and computer genius.
58And she's she's doing stuff. And so now she's now starting to work for this private eye firm. And she can do everything. Just like Noah, but Noah's not solving criminals. He's he's like, cow, there's a there's a back. Try to back up on the wall. You get past quick, quick. You're good. You're good. I need to make a new turn and go this way. Hey, you're right. The Qt. No, I need to solve this murder. And he will give you there's a bucket. He's opening in June. By the way, I was it. No, is it? No, are you in Glendale? You're pure Glendale. I was in Glendale yesterday. Where are you? I'm in South Peoria. I was off 67 avenues. That by you? Yeah. Okay. That's so far. Compared to where I used to live, I feel like I'm closer than ever. Because it took me 45 minutes to get there. So I by the way, I'm driving out there and I'm on 67 Avenue. And I see it over easy like over easy. That's cool. And then I went to this place. I got to tell you guys, you know how I do? I do the hyperbaric chambers. I do all of that. People are like, you know, where is it? I found this place and they're going to open up several locations right now. It's called Next Health. And they have the nicest looking hyperbaric chamber.
02It's like two chairs. You sit next to each other. It's got a white tank. It's they've got everything that I've done that I do. The IV drips, the plasma exchange. They do it all right there. Well, that's like a that's like Disney for you. Yes. So it's like a biohacking health office. Yes. On 67th Avenue, like just construction everywhere. And there's this beautiful. I walked and everybody in there looks like a super model. Because they're doing the thing. All beautiful people. And I was just like, can I film? I was like, I'll put a video up. I took a pair. I asked, can I put a video this up? Because I sent it to my wife. It's in my friend. Look at this place. And the chairs in the hyperbaric chamber, which if this is a saline point, these are custom made leather chairs by Mercedes. Hey, now I was like, oh, must be comfortable. So anyway, you need to sit in there. No, I'm making it appointment to go next week. I want to do something there next week. I'm going to try to get all my plans. I've been taking out. What? What? Just fun stuff. Fun stuff. I'm going to spend the day and climb down. This is Chelsea handler from Dear Chelsea. After the big game, like most people, I kept thinking about the commercials. And there was one that stayed with me. It was from the Blue Square Alliance
06against hate and it wasn't loud or flashy. It showed a Jewish kid being targeted at school and another student who chose not to ignore it. As someone who was Jewish, that moment felt very real to me. Not dramatic, just familiar. And what struck me was how clearly it showed that hate doesn't always announce itself. But the impact is still huge. If you saw the Blue Square spot during the big game, it's worth thinking about. And if you want to show support, sharing the Blue Square is one small way to do that. On the Sino Show podcast, each episode invites you into a raw, unfiltered conversations about recovery, resilience and redemption.
