1:03We're going to start things off. Always a great experience when we talk to eight ton chander box 29 and odd shopper.com and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hey, Todd. How are you? It's fantastic to run. Hope all as well with you and yours. Yes, absolutely. And I hope so with you as well. Let's talk about the Eagles and what kind of changes might be coming to them. Are they moving on from Goddard? Are they going to move on from AJ Brown? Well, Goddard had both of these guys have a lot of money attached to them. I think it's going to be easier to move on if you will from Dallas, Goddard. There's clearly a new regime, if you will, at least with new OC down to new line coach as well. I think the discussion about AJ Brown is a fun one. I think it makes our lives far easier, especially here locally where I could kill four hours or in this case, you know, eight minutes on TV. But realistically speaking, I just don't know how that contract is tradable to be honest with you where you would get anything remotely close to a return. And again, this isn't the NBA.

2:09Don't dump dump dump like you have to get something of no back. Nobody's going to give him multiple first rounders. The salary and what they had the dead cap. I know how he rose. As a wizard Seren, but I don't think either one of these guys move on in any capacity to be honest. Goddard, I wouldn't be shocked. AJ Brown, I'd be floored before. Okay. All right. Good to know. Tell me the report card that came out, got leaked out by the NFL PA. The Eagles had some interesting grades, D in locker room, F and travel, C plus in the treatment of families, A in head coach. When I help me get my arms around these grades, I mean, they're known as a great organization, but kind of the organizational things they don't seem to be doing. The coach is known as kind of an ass, but he gets an A. What's going on here? Right. Well, I mean, again, is this like when you have the coaches, Paul and college get filled out by the assistant SID and it's just to get this thing. Somebody in the locker room get this thing filled out. I need to figure out who it was. Maybe it was the punter that they just all had sign names for. Look, two things.

3:18One, I have a little surprise that the Eagles got such poor grades when it came to the facilities, because that's something that they have prided themselves on, at least externally with it. The other part of this is treatment of families. And look, this is not the easiest place to play. You guys allowed, like we're loud, like other area, Buffalo, but there's just a certain type of loud. And you know, if you're not insulated as a player, when things aren't going well, and you feel like everything from just how you are and your family, what not, travel is another thing too, because it's not just players. This is definitely a mark on the Eagles, I'd say. I don't believe Nick Ciriani got today. I'm sorry. I just don't believe it. Yeah. Okay. I refuse. I object to the premise altogether. I love it. That's great. Well, you know what it is? It's like, it's like giving the substitute teacher who was there for three days, an A for the actual teacher, right? Or like, if you go to my son, my four year old son is in pre-K, he goes to a special, you know, Spanish or art or something like that.

4:25It's like giving the special, right? The A for the whole teacher, because I don't know. I just don't think Nick Ciriani is doing anything more than just not getting down on people. That's basically his biggest thing. All right. Let's talk about the Phillies as their heads still on a swivel looking for more starting pitching. Probably. I would think so. You know, I don't think that they're satisfied by any means. I don't want to talk anymore. Not with you. I'll talk to you about anything, but in general, I can't have the Andrew painter is coming conversation. I mean, regardless of who you pray to the Messiah, whoever that may be is going to come back before Andrew painter finally comes up in the major lease. It's nonstop nonsense there. So, yeah, I think with the loss of rangers, as far as you definitely need to address that, right? When especially when you have Zach Wheeler coming off a hurt, clearly there's going to be a need. How aggressive they are. So red to start to season. I don't know. Maybe they do kind of tread water and become buyers at some point. I think the biggest upside right now that they have across the board is Justin Crawford and seeing what they have in center field.

5:29Yeah. Okay. The reason we bring it up like the royals have a depth of starting pitching and there's been some people wondering if the royals wouldn't be a candidate to be a trade partner with somebody who's looking for pitching. So anytime we hear that someone might need pitching, we're like, Oh, okay. Well, what kind of bad? Yeah. Starling Marta probably slowed that role of acquiring at least a big league bat, but they do have a depth of pitching. So we'll see. How about Nick Castellanos admitting that yeah, you know, take me out of a game. I'll go grab a couple of cold ones. Have a couple of pops here in the dugout. What's the reaction to that? They're going to pay him $20 million after releasing him. Is this what was the final straw? Yeah, probably final straw. I would say the craziest thing about this and maybe this is a warning to Nick Seriani who is just buddy buddy and that's the only mode he knows. But Rob Thompson, the Phillies manager, the reason why Nick Castellanos was out there in the first place despite questions about his defensive prowess is because of Rob Thompson.

6:29It's because the manager because of the connection and the friendship that they had. He pulled Castellanos. Castellanos lost his mind. Half of the guys in the club outs were like, Okay, that's just next to you next. And the other guys are like, Well, we can kind of see the writing on the wall. So I'm a little more comfortable calling him out. But the reality is that based on the schism or just this gap that was caused between Seriani. See there you go again. Rob Thompson and Nick Castellanos and really just calling him out and talking down to him and not having like a Bryce Harper or somebody getting his face. The team's only recourse was to get rid of Castellanos by only and look, it's not like they got rid of. Let's be honest here. They didn't get rid of Babe Ruth. Yeah, no, no doubt, no doubt. Tell me real quick on the Sixers. You know, they're kind of surprisingly hanging around with a playoff spot. Is that just prolonging the inevitable or is there a chance they could do some damage? If Joel and Bede is not 100%, it's it's prolonging the inevitable. I mean, that's basically it. This team is not anything better than a second round exit with anything from like 80% or below.

7:38Of the indeed. So they're trying. I'll give them credit, right? Like they're trying to space out and give him time off. What have you? You still have new components. Max, he's going to have to have one of those playoffs. We see young stars. They need to have one of those playoff series. He hasn't had one yet. BJ Edgecom is too young. Paul George is just MIA. I don't know. This team is probably inevitably cooked. Yeah, that's what it feels like. They're just propping up something that's got to be torn down before it can get good again. Yeah. How are you, sir? Hey, good man. How are you? What's going on? Doing very good, doing very good play calling. Not going to be Dave Canalis's duties anymore. Is this a big deal or not a big deal? Yeah, it's a fairly big deal for a guy that got hired based off his play calling early on to already can see that. Hey, I've got other stuff. He's got to work on.

8:40It's not a bad thing by any means. They brought in Darrell Bevel as a special assistant to the head coach who has called place forever and was with Canalis in Seattle. So it's not in he'll be helping new play collar Brad and with that. So I think there's three guys there now counting Canalis that can sort of all, you know, put their thoughts in. So Canalis who despite the success that the Panthers have had under him so far, there's been some gain management stuff where he thought a little distracted, maybe by the play calling. Ultimately, this is probably a good thing. It is a good thing that Canalis that young age as a coach already knows. Hey, for the betterment of the team, I've got to give this up. So I don't think it's a bad thing at all for the Panthers. Yeah, okay. Is there, you know, Bryce Young was said to be a part of the equation or quarterback and coach on the same page? Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I mean, they get along pretty seamlessly since the the benching of early 2025. So yeah, I think I think they are.

9:43It feels like they have a good relationship and Canalis is such an upbeat guy. And so is Bryce. It's kind of hard to see them not, you know, meshing. So I think there's not a lot of ego there between either guy. So I think it's a pretty good relationship so far is the feeling that the arrows definitely pointing up that like this year. They wanted a year early, but they're building towards something or is it that this is a bad division and somebody had to win it and the Panthers still have a lot of holes. Now, arrows are definitely offensively. They made a lot of strides. They've got some really good young wide receivers. They're not. Yeah, they are a year early, but they're not a finished product by any means. They're going to try to add some stuff on defense here, whether it's in free agency and maybe get a little aggressive. It's been some money there. So even if you would say, yeah, they're not an NFC contender yet. I think the fact that they're in the NFC South and there's questions about Tampa Atlanta. I mean, New Orleans played a lot better than we thought, but there's some have a lot of questions. So I think that the fact that they're in the South.

10:45Yeah, it may mask a little bit of things when you win a division with that amount of wins, but it also shows you in the South that, you know, you don't. You're not that far off from being the most dominant team in that division for a while. If you make your right moves. Now, let's talk about the Hornets did one nine in a row at one point not too long ago. Now they won four in a row. They're holding the 10th spot. Sometimes you hold that 10th spot in your 10 games under not this year. The only 10th spot at 30 and 31. Is this a legit playoff team? Oh, yeah, there are legit playoff team that can put a scare into somebody's if they get into a series. They're they're lineup. A ball, Knipple, Miller, Bridges and Lucidia Bate is now 18 and two when they play together. So they finally got health. If you go to January 1st, they have 19 wins and that's tied for the league lead with the spurs, pistons and Celtics. So the number two team in the West and the in the top two teams in the East. They're tied for wins over a two month period.

11:51You know, they are legitimate. They can score. They can defend. I know it's hard to see the Hornets being legitimate, but they are we expect them to get into a series. And at least, you know, who knows what happens with those top teams in the East, but we think they can they can push somebody a little bit. At least that's a far cry from where they were years ago. The betting markets now say con Knipple is the favorite to win the rookie of the year. Do you think he wins the award? Yeah, in part, because Cooper flag is not, I mean, their numbers are very, very similar right now. But if you look at overall impact on an organization. And I know the inside the NBA guys are arguing yesterday about. And he spent the arguing about it. You know, it's not about winning. It's an individual war. And I we get that. But there's been a complete culture shift with the Hornets. And part of that starts with the way that con Knipple carries himself. He's going to break every if not already, every rookie shooting record.

12:51It's not far off from a 50 40 90 season, which has never happened for a rookie in terms of individuals that have done that only nine players, although multiple times by some. Only nine players have ever done that before. Kevin Durant. Yeah, you broke up a little bit there. So if you got a little bit better spot, maybe take a couple steps towards it. But I think we got you back now. I do want to ask you about Knipple. Like is anybody. Is it a problem in Charlotte that he instead of looking like an NBA player, he looks more like the kid who won the golf tournament at the country club junior member event. I mean, he looks. No, it's not been a problem at all. He's beloved no matter what. Yeah, you're right. He looks like he should be playing against probably woods when he gets the Florida state. But no, he's.

13:56I mean, the look is one thing, but man, he's. He's got a demeanor that is that is all gas. He made a play the other day when he dove into the benches and threw a ball behind. He was doing that in the summer league. So yeah, it's a weird dichotomy from. He's got shots to look to the way he plays, but man, he has become a revelation. And he's getting us a lot of national attention to. Now we haven't gotten before. So it's been kind of a cool thing to watch. Do holding down the number one spot still in college basketball? I mean, how much? I mean, they were good enough to win it last year. And he flaws in this team's game. Is this one better than last year's addition? They're definitely a full team. And they are a locomotive right now. They're not as talented as a number of the teams of this generation. But the one thing they do have is. Is the best freshman ever at Duke, which is pretty. Pretty telling thing to say, but there's been a lot made up. Who's the who's the second guy is that Isaiah Evans who's been really good lately, but do they have that other.

15:04Start with Booser. The star has been the defense. The defense and Booser has been the two game in game out stars to hold Michigan. To nearly 30 points below their average and then Virginia, like 35 points below their average, whatever was that defense is legit. So I think with Booser in this defense and John Shire's coaching, they're in that group of four or five right now. You could say our legitimate national title contenders, not saying someone else can't jump up there. But if you look at who are the four or five best teams, certainly Duke Duke is right there in the mix. Yeah, at NC State, North Carolina at home, and they've got revenge on their mind after losing at North Carolina. I assume they go to and know, right? And I assume they're barreling towards at least a number one seed, if not the one one, right? Yeah, they should go to and know they've had problems in Raleigh in the past, although NC State just lost the Notre Dame and gave up 96. So, you know, I could see a scenario where they could maybe get in trouble, although Duke hasn't really, you know, they have two losses where they believe this year.

16:12You would need, I think, for NC State to win them to be on and Duke to kind of do a no show routine where they just don't, they haven't done that all year. They wouldn't bank on that. And then, you know, there'll be some revenge for the Tar Heels on Saturday, whether or not Caleb Wilson plays or not, Duke at home right now. I mean, they're one thing on the road and neutral sites, but on the road, excuse me, at home, that camera. And I can't see, I can't see North Carolina having much of a chance in that one. So I would highly anticipate Duke going to and all year to close out the regular season. Travis Hancock and Charlotte, North Carolina. Great stuff, buddy. We appreciate it. Have a great week. Doug, how are you, my friends? I was wonderful until I heard some East Coast bias. Anybody who says U of A is not the best team in the country is asleep at the wheel. And just so you're listening, there's no, that's like a Mizzou or a K state fan swearing that KU is number one, because I'm an ASU fan, but U of A.

17:20Far and away number one. Far and away number one. What was the reaction when they lost that game at Kansas without Darren Peterson? You know, it was kind of like the typical, hey, you're not going to go 500 and I was the one screaming that you have a fan. You're going to lose because I believe in KU that much from Allen Fieldhouse standpoint, that place. I mean, you know what when it gets crazy, but that was that game you could tell, even though I was watching it on TV, was crazier than normal. And I think that they just didn't recover. They've had two weeks or one week where they were a little rough, but they lost both games reasonably close. And it's at Texas Tech and at KU. I'll take that. Yeah, okay. They're going to win the league. They're going to be a number one seed. I don't think there's anything that can stop that. What is the feeling about coming to Kansas City for the tournament for Arizona fans? I think they want to solidify themselves. They have the ego that says I want to be the number one overall seed,

18:20even though we both know it does not matter whatsoever, unless you have to play a slightly better team in the final four than the overall number one does. But that's a pretty minute deal because it's not like Duke and Arizona are going to be fighting for a one seed in their region. They'll both go east or west and then they'll be fine. Okay. Do the fans like the idea of coming to Kansas City? I think it's still too new. The big 12 tournament forever was, or the actual tournament forever was in LA. The last three or four years that moved to Vegas and everybody really enjoyed Vegas. And people like to say lost Tucson in Vegas because you have a fans who go up and spend the whole week. And I don't think they have totally accepted Kansas City, but I don't think they're against it either. It's just too new. Yeah. All right. All right. We'll see. It's going to be a great tournament. One of the best ESPN sending the number one crew, Shulman and Jay Billis are going to be calling the the big 12 tournaments.

19:23So it's it's offered to tell us. Yeah, it's it's going to be absolutely fantastic. Kyler Murray, his future is not with the Cardinals, right? In Jimmy Garoppolo. Is the name that's being talked about is the replacement? Do I have this right? You do have it right now, whether or not all of that happens yet. The major problem is there's this thing called YouTube and the other 31 teams have it. So you would like to trade Tyler Murray because it's a $53 million cap hit if you put him a $30 million cap hit if you trade him. The problem is other teams have seen him play and the secrets out that he can't read defensive. Now I don't know if it's because he doesn't have the football IQ or if it's because the center's butt is in his way and he can't see the defense. But he's not a he's a very below average quarterback. So he will probably sign somewhere and somewhat compete for a job. But gosh, I wouldn't want him to back up. Seren because he's not the kind of guy that's going to motivate the starter or be heavily involved from a football IQ standpoint.

20:23The possibility of Garoppolo is because he knows both ends of the little four offense. Little four is a Kyle Shanahan and a protege in LA as well. So when you have both him and McVeigh as the guys that he's drawn from offensively, well, where's Jimmy G Ben? Both of those places. So I do buy that, but I don't think he's going to be highly successful. And I actually don't mind Jacobi resett. Neither of them are the future, but they're a good person to have in the room for whoever the future will be. All right. Let's talk about what's going to happen with the Diamondbacks. Do we have big expectations for them? Are they going to get Merrill Kelly and Corbin Carroll back in time? Definitely Corbin Carroll. And I say that because that's just who that young man is. He'll figure it out and be back boring, something crazy happens in the last week of spring training. Merrill Kelly, I'm not so sure. I think he probably will miss one spot in the rotation, but that's speculating that's not reporting.

21:27As far as expectations are concerned, I would say that they're going to be about the same as they have been in the last couple of years. Even even the world series years, and they made the playoffs because of the even though they got swept in the last week and series and back their way into the playoffs. And then the last two years, they've either been tied for the last spot and didn't get it due to a tiebreaker or missed it by a game. And I think they're going to be right there again where they're almost in and they end up not making it out of game 1.59. Okay. Let's talk about the Suns. Devon Booker wears his health and how far can they go if they can get a healthy Devon Booker back on the court? I think that the sky isn't the limit, but they can at least get on a plane and get off the ground. I think they're wonderful. The problem with the Suns is they're a high energy high effort team and teams come in tired. Maybe they played at Denver or even though Utah is not good, you played at elevations or you got beat up playing the Lakers and you come to Phoenix and the Suns just at work.

22:34Which means they're going to win a lot of regular season games. I just feel like in the playoffs, that's now everybody tries hard. It's no longer you're just neaking up on people and everybody wants to wait and when the other teams focused, I tend to believe the Suns will have like a gentleman sweep. Maybe they win two games, but I do think they eventually make it out of this play in tournament range and they get the six feet and then lose at Houston or Denver in the first round. Which would be entertaining if it's Houston because it would be Jalen Green against Kevin Derrick. Yeah, that would be fun. That would be fun. I'd like to see that. All right, finally, you mentioned being a son devil fan. Is this hit for Bob Hurley? Man, I hate to say this because you know, this is where you responsibilities and job and friendship all across. I love Bobby Hurley to do, but absolutely it is. Even the last year of his contract, the team has they've done probably surrender what they could do. They're not that good, but they're a try hard team and after three straight years of not going to the tournament, it would be time for a change.

23:37And I know it's, I believe it's going to happen. But man, I don't think the world understands what a tough job this is. This is a very fickle fan base, very bandwagon type of city. It's nothing like Kansas City when it comes to college basketball support. It's a tough job. Think about it this way. They're about ready to let go. The second greatest coach they've ever had. And even he can't get this thing turned around. Doug Franz in Phoenix, Arizona. Great stuff, Doug. We appreciate it. Have yourself a great week, my friend. Thank you, you two. In San Francisco. That's right. Roxy Bernstein 95 seven the game in San Francisco, California, ESPN, Westwood, one year of all over the place. Roxy, how are you, sir? I'm great, sir. And how are you? I'm doing well. I'm doing well. Let's start with the 49ers, Trent Williams and another contract for Trent Williams or is there not going to be another contract? I think there will be. I think they will figure this thing out. The Niners know they need Trent Williams.

24:40And look, they just want to get him for a little bit of a reduced rate. They're trying to keep the salaries, structure in order. And they're just trying to negotiate with William. They know how critical he is. And look, let's face it, Seren. The Niner offensive line has been weak. And you're going to make it considerably weaker when you take out one of the best love tackles we've ever seen in the game. That is a group that needs to be built back up. And if you lose Trent Williams, then what do you do? So I think both sides understand they need each other. I think they're just trying to come to an agreement that makes both sides relatively happy because, look, for the 49ers, they still believe they're in a window. They need Trent Williams to be a part of it. Yeah, which is amazing that they're still at that point with a guy who's going to be 38 years old this year. I mean, it's not going to be a 10 year contract clearly. But how much more football they really think he's got left in him.

25:42They think he's got to fill a few more years. And he is still dominant, even at 37 soon to be 38 years old. That is arguably still the best left tackle in the game. And it certainly helps when you have that anchor in your line to help rock party and Christian McCaffery. And that's the thing is the 49ers, they try to get their structure in order. It's going to be an interesting offseason because not just with this Trent Williams contract issue going on right now. But some of the injuries they're dealing with, when will George Kittle come back? Then when you free yourself from Brandon IU, what do you do to help you receive a room? Is John Jennings, his status is very questionable. I think to come back with the 49ers. Then you have an attractive piece in Mac Jones that the 49ers are probably going to trade. What can they get back for him because he's that next maybe reclamation project. If you look at what Sam Darrell did this year with Seattle. So there are a lot of moves that John Lynch will be making coming up. And Trent Williams need to be in the fold because there's so many other question marks they need to address.

26:46So it looks like Iook will be gone. It looks like you think he's not coming back. And you think Mac Jones will get traded, even though they say no. Yeah, I think they're just posturing Seren because he's too valuable to piece. You can get a relatively high draft pick. They're probably aiming and they're trying to hold out for a stronger offer. But I'm guessing they'll get something in the neighborhood of a third rounder for him. Okay. And then Max Crosby, the 49ers just said to have interest in him. Is that a possibility? I think it is. But the only hesitation I have Seren is you don't see the Niners and Raiders do things together. Right. They certainly could use help on getting to the quarterback. Nick Boso hopefully will be healthy. And that could be a position of strength, especially if you're able to bring him in. But what's it going to cost you to cross the Raiders would be smart to move them because as we know, they're not winning anytime soon. And Crosby can help somebody else out of the meantime. You can help gather some depth, some more young talent because the Raiders is still so far away from winning.

27:51And by the time they're ready to win Seren, Max Crosby is going to be past his prime. So that's the thing is it would be who the Raiders to move them. It's just a question of will they deal with the 49ers considering the past. Okay. Since we last talked to you, the giants have made a couple of additions. Luis Arise and Harrison Bader. Is this make them a real challenger to the Dodgers in the West? No. Look, look at the West and it's San Diego's. The Padres are good. I think the Diamondbacks. You can't forget about them either. Let's just the Rockies or the Rockies, but I think it's a battle for second in the division to be honest with you. Right. The Dodgers have everything you could want as a team. The giants have a very good, I think, starting rotation. And their bullpen is okay. I would say it's average to maybe a little bit above their problem with the rise. Luis Arise makes them better, Seren. And it's an upgrade, but when the giants were winning, he was about pitching in defense.

28:55And the defense is a little bit of an issue. They're strong in certain areas. Right. You have Matt Chappen, Willie Adama, Patrick Bailey is a great catcher. Their outfield defense got better with the addition of Harrison Bader and moving Jung Huli, probably the right field. But the left, the right side of the infield is dreadful defensively. And that's a huge issue. Luis Arise is a terrific hitter. He's going to hit for over 300. He's probably going to challenge for a batting title. It's what he does. He doesn't walk, but he doesn't defend well. And that's the problem, I think, for the giants. If they're going to compete, it's got to be about pitching in defense. Yeah. Okay. We'll see if they've got enough of it to get it done. Let's talk about the warrior. Steph Curry continues to be out. Are we starting to get concerned that he's not back yet? No, it's going to be soon, but right now, Seren, they're just not a good team. They really aren't. They tried the Jimmy Butler injury was devastating to this team because they felt they still had a chance, right?

29:55They got to the second round of the playoffs last year. And a lot of people felt they would have beat the Timberwolves. Had Steph not gotten hurt because they won game one and then he got hurt and he didn't we didn't see him again and they lost that series. If you have a healthy Jimmy Butler with Steph Curry and then you make the deal to get poor Zingas and you still have dream on and Al Horford would come in to give you some stability. Look, somebody other guys have played well, guys like Moses Moody and Anthony Melton, but let's face it, this team right now has a huge issue because the Jimmy Butler injury just sidetracked everything. It's rumored to be in the midst for Yannis. That didn't happen to the deadlines and they pivoted and they went and got poor Zingas and came in with the only bargaining chip that they had. But it's going to, if this team squeaks into the playoffs, it's going to be in a play in and I'm not sure where this team goes from here to be honest with you. There are two games, what, over 500 right now. I know there were third in the Pacific, but it really is tough to swallow the Butler injury because they felt with Jimmy they had a chance.

31:02Yeah, with him they had a chance, but now they bring on for Zingas, who's also hurt and Kaminga seems to have blossomed in Atlanta. Now there's, you listen, lots of guys can score 20 on a bad team and maybe that's all that's happening in Atlanta, but Kaminga hit the ground running with a couple of big games. I mean, are people lamenting that trade? I think there was frustration surrender. The Warriors didn't use him correctly when he was here and he didn't fit with what Steve Kerr wanted. Steve Kerr, look, Kaminga still figuring out how to play at the NBA level and he wants guys, Steve Kerr wants guys that are ready to play and understand the NBA game. That's why there was this split between the two of them and they couldn't get on the same page. You, you change a scenery, a team that values him and what he can bring and keep in mind Jonathan Kaminga still only 23 years old. And I think he's got a bright future, supremely talented. We've seen it, but it just wasn't a fit and he and Steve Kerr were biting his head and it just wasn't going to work. Yeah, yeah, that's it. We'll see that this is either an unceremonious end of the dynasty or maybe, I don't know, maybe for Zingas.

32:07Like, for Zingas can play when he's healthy. He's just not healthy ever. And now Steph Curry is getting up there in age. Yeah, yeah, that's when being a big part of it. I think they're going to retool this thing in the off season. I'm not sure if for Zingas is here for the long haul. And I think you'll like a boy or his owner with Mike Dunleague Jr. They're going to be aggressive with something because they're going to try to make one last push, even though Steph is going to be 38. It's just the perfect combination of stuff. The bread's fantastic. And one of the things I like is we talked about the, the, not just high quality greens, but stuff that's made there. It's the fresh mozzarella. If you've never had fresh mozzarella in a sandwich, it's not like the stuff you buy in the bag only fresher. It's a different type of cheese. And it makes the sandwich amazing. The pesto, everything is fantastic. So I was like, okay, it was, I was literally sad. The last bite. I was like, I wish I'd gotten another one. I couldn't have eaten it, but it was just so good.

34:12Yeah. So they do a great job. And listen, if you get, I'm going to tell you this upfront, if you get there and there's a line, it's worth the wait. It is. And so that's why if you see stats and history for KU basketball that goes back to the 88 89 season, that's why because that's because Dean Bucking started it. So the two had two times. It's happened in one of them was a national championship game win. They were out rebounded 55, 35 in that game. Wow. It's drastically different outcomes. National title win and a 23 point loss. A little bit different. A little bit different. The 22 team was special.

37:23Or if Collins isn't taking to one side, you know, they've got options now. So I feel like you should have a legit big league at bat. If you want to just play offense, if you want to just put the lineup together by offense, should have a legit big league at bat. One through nine. And I think that's going to be a lot better. I think the outfield is going to be a lot more productive. I don't think it's going to be phenomenal, but it's at least going to keep the line moving. And if that if they can just keep line moving and get on base a few times for the guys at the top. Then I think we may see this team jump 100 runs in offense. I mean, I don't it's not just because of Marte, but because all the pieces have come together. And I don't know that if we just said beforehand, you can trade boobitch for Brendan Donovan. Or you can sign Starly Marte. Which one would you have taken?

38:24Because you get boobitch. Now the Donovan, I'm not sure that boobitch. That's not going to be enough. Well, the 20 set, I agree. You're going to have to give something else up. So if it's boobitch and Blake Mitchell. But the 27 part of it would be better if you did the Brennan Donovan deal. But for 26, haven't Chris Boobitch in this rotation? And hoping that kids can stay healthy for a full season of starts. That's a badass rotation. I mean, if they're healthy, they're tough. They're going to bitch and the bullpen looks pretty pretty decent as well. Carlos Sestav has control 90. That was not a good, that was not good news. No. So that's, that's a little bit scary. But, you know, me have given his other Velo to Daniel Lynch. Or maybe he's just walking it up to the WBC. You could be. I mean, he had this issue last year as well. But, yeah, so I'm, I am a little concerned about that. But Mason Black has looked good in a reliever role.

39:26So that's encouraging. Coca-Cola, Kevin the Obliq is not good, but he should be back. David Leskey and I were doing our coffee corner podcast last night and he looked up. It's a grade one plus strain. He said that's probably about five weeks. That he'll be out there saying they're going to let it calm down for a week and then check him. But he ain't going to be back in a week. No. So we're probably walking right up to the regular season. Well, we're walking past, well, we're looking at the second week. He's been out for how long now? Yeah, what's it retroactive? It's like it's been a week. Yeah. So, but he's probably going to start the miners, but he's probably going to start the miners anyway. So now there's no pressure. But... Opening days to 30th of March. I feel pretty, I feel pretty good about this team. I like this edition. I think it gives him great depth in the outfield. He gives him a lot of options for the lineup. You know, one of the things Jay Jeep Cole told us was that Matt Cotrera, one of the things that he liked about him in the job interview part, was Matt Cotrera's ability to build the lineup days out and his reasons for it

40:27and how he was keeping everybody involved. I mean, he was going to play everybody anyway. So you might as well make everybody pretty good. You know, don't have anyone that sucks. Yeah, like you said, now they have a big league option for at bats one through nine. It tells me they're not messing around with waiting on Nick Lofton or Drew Waters anymore. They want to establish big leagues. And it's 37. It'll be 38 in October. But I mean, I'm looking just as his recent couple of seasons. Career OPS 7.81. Last year, 7.45. Before that 7.15. So he's still, as you said, gives them a professional at bat. Yeah. And two-time gold glove winner. It was 10 years ago. But, you know, he's not going to hurt you out in the left field. He's not a catcher going out there. Or a second basement going out and playing left field for the first time. So I'm good with it. Well, I think it'll be playing some right. Yeah. Probably so. I think that's, you know, that's mostly what I think it's mostly what he's played. He's played more right than left.

41:28And Curtis, you brought up the age. But he's the MLB's active stolen base leader. Can he still steal our base or two? Stole 7 last year in 98 and 329. 16 the year before that 24. Okay. And the year before that. But seven and how many attempts? Nine. Okay. Now, he was in the last three years. He is 47 for 54. So when he goes, he makes it. Pretty good. Yeah. I like to say anatomy, the roster. There's probably a couple of bullpened jobs. But from the hitting standpoint, I mean, you got 11 that are set. The five outfielders, the two catchers, and then all the starters with India. The question is who's 12 and 13? I assume it's Michael Massey for one of them. But you need him in the outfield less. He would let off and play left field today. You need him in the outfield less.

42:29Less. You know, I mean, now he earned it. If he earns it, great. But I think it'll be him. And then who's 13, Nick Lofton? Lofton. There's a Joshua Rojas. Tyler Tolbert, the steal of base. Tyron Blanco, the steal of base. Or hit home runs like you did last year. Well, one day where he was like, where does he come from? Well, I actually thought Blanco, being the platoon partner for a caglione, was actually going to be an officer. He is a heavy platoon split guy. Yeah. He's right handed and he hits much better against left handed. He thought that might be it. But I think he's out now that Marta is there. And Marta has almost no platoon split. The point being though, if caglione can't hit lefties, then Marta will give you what Marta does against either arm. But he'll do it against the lefties. You know, yeah, I think, you know, if Michael Massey can play third base,

43:30then you don't need Nick Lofton. But Leski's made a point like, who's going to play? If Bobby needs a day off in Garcia, he's going to switch over to short, which is what's going to happen. Who plays third? That's where Nick Lofton might have the spot up. It had been lost. Mostly. It hadn't seen Massey over there. Haven't seen Massey. Isaac Collins, they talked about having some second base skills. Does he have third? Can he play third? Then maybe you can go with that. But I kind of feel like Nick Lofton, his path is being able to play third base, and he has position flexibility everywhere as well. But if some of the young guys will just take a natural step, not a monstrous step, but just take the natural step to becoming, if Nick Lofton can just become Adam Frazier. If Michael Massey can become Bill Pacota,

44:32I'm going way back. I know you have no idea who that is. I'll take it. The projections guy. It's funny. No, that's an acronym. Okay. But the acronym is based upon, they set it up based upon his name. Bill Pacota went with Brett Saberhagen in the deal to the Metz. Okay. Just have the time of his life. He proceeds to walk the length of pit lane, doing an interview. Because he's so excited to talk about the 23-11 race team and what they've done. And he doesn't go to all the races. But he will be in Phoenix next week because he's not messing with the streak. Wow. And so he did an interview walk and all the way down the pit lane to get to his driver to get to Tyler Reddick when he came out. Just happy and giddy.
