The end of the show starts at three, two, one, cue up. Good morning and welcome back. I'm Karen Hepburn. We're Thomas Raid today. We're the after show. So we're talking about our eastern tradition, traditions. So what are some of yours? We always like the chocolate. I'm really upset about the zippers thing that is like a person that they're not out of the data problem this year. What are some of the things that you always love to do in your house for eastern? Well, we did eastern bread grown up. My grandparents used to make eastern bread. Did it have what did it have then? Did you go ahead and say not or whatever? Yeah. And then my dad would always think that we want stuffed animals. So we don't always get stuffed animals.

1:00Like given to our college years, can you stop with the stuffed animals? Did you do eastern? Not a lot of money, but we died the eggs. We didn't like this. We didn't want this. We started our own competitive. So we would always think, you know, do all the job with the world. We want to put it back. You have to put it back. This is really important. It's really important to have competitive activities. I'm also happy birthday to your sister. Thank you. And thank you for taking care of my splinter out yesterday. Like, just get it. Well, I'll put you in a story and wearing my Jared's readers. Well, because I can't have it. It's too hard to see otherwise. We had my susarium tweezers. Yeah. And it was, it was most important because it was bothering me. What's that feeble like to love them? Where the, the element gets it. It's the lion. And I think it's the mouse that helps to get the, um, thorn out of the mouse. The lion out of the mouse. They'll get it out of there. So think about your Easter traditions. 2:01The mayor is always good for a tradition. So what is the Easter like, what's Easter like in your house? Okay. So every year we typically go down the shore. Uh, we are not going this year because my niece is about to have a baby any minute. So, uh, but typically we go down there. Everybody gets together. There's Easter icons on the beach. Uh, it's super fun. The niece that used to work here. Mm-hmm. Congratulations. We're so excited. Nothing like your first baby. I think a lot of people are second. Second baby. They're dead. Even better than the forest. It's even more fun. And that's the one that makes you even more of a family. Whatever backpettling on out of this. But that is one of our categories. A tons of people go down to the shore because there's so many great things. You know, they do like huge things in the ocean. City, all the sort towns. They have a million of pets. I'll usually do like a race, of course, in my family. We do a, uh, um, hamper. Hamper. Five, okay. Dan, uh, or some of the Easter traditions in your family. Uh, so any holiday was a giant meal.

3:01That's my favorite tradition. It's almost a holiday. It's how a giant meal. The Easter is kind of like the only time I've ever had a flaky meal. Yes. Or, uh, like, it's the return of the summer salad. It's kind of like, it's like, plus the salad. And the holiday salad. So, it's, yeah, giant meal would be my pick. Okay. And then, how's it going with our question of the day? Yeah. Medical race. Our question of the day is, what is your favorite Easter passive or tradition right now on giant meal? In the lead, no surprise. 72% of the wheel. So, competitive on a short trip or holiday parade. All right. So, we're going to discuss amongst ourselves with Michael, Eugene Gerard, and Susereo. I will be joining them coming up in mere seconds. All right. You know what that's not on there that I love? There's a child. Like, die in the Easter eggs. Get, you know, coffee cups or mobs. Oh, yeah. With the vinegar. With the plus P-A-A-S. Die. El tablets. Hey, you know, as you want to, I'm going to smell vinegar during the year. Yeah. I'm glad I think we've been doing vinegar in there. Yeah.

4:01It was great. I really love doing that. You know, and you grew up where you grew up. We weighed a million miles away from our group. But we all did the same thing down. And these little wire things that came with the plus. Yeah. And they never really ever fit in it. They're all put down on the fall off. Yeah. And just splash. And then you get, which I want to do. For you have to do a core home, the gydo busy. And we talk about the vinegar and the蛋糕. I go, we do it every year, and we still do it. But I get you always have a lot of my eggs for that. And that's super fun. And then you just reminded me talking about, like, eggs and traditions. Even just the category, eggs, those were all happy since the only time I ever eat those ones, the little chocolate ones. I kind of grossed my kind of amazing one. It's so sweet. It's nice to know. Yeah. And maybe it's a good once a year. You have to use the full pattern where you're parted to it, and it looks like a yolk. Oh, that's the upside. Yeah, that's the upside. First of all, it's like so sweet. You go, ooh! I think what's in your life is you're going to an Easter parade.

5:01We have so many great ones here. Yeah, Alex always go like a headhouse square. We have. We're common odds and things. I think it's such a great tradition. It's Easter fun. Did you do that one too? We would get dressed up on church or ugly days. We never did the parade, but when we get dressed up, everything we had on head to be new on Easter even hardware. We had to use the little socks with the ruffles around, with our Mary Jane shooters. Of course, that better picture. But yeah, that was a thing. We had to have everything new for Easter, because it's a time when we're new. Okay. You and I were in a room where it was new. That Easter, yes. My grandmother would go to market shopping for all the great kids. Yeah. That isn't what a youth found right with a lot of that frail, like the one of the things around the bodyshop. We had to wear a head church. The church. So, yeah, we had a head where we had a little waist thingy on our heads. Yeah. Your life's just yours. You forgot. I had. They would go to the bathroom.

6:01I had a clean towel. I had a towel. Yeah, he said. I don't use it. I don't use it. I don't use it. I don't use it. I don't use it. I don't use it. I don't use it. I don't use it. I don't use it. We never had plastic eggs. Oh. We don't have plastic eggs. But they made were hard to find the house. You wouldn't find it for a few months. It was a space. No, it happened with the jelly beans. Well, we'll do that in my house. We always do. You mentioned the dying of the Easter eggs and that's like always fun to do the tradition. Unless it's fun.

7:02Like, do any other 25-stellars or kids? Yeah and like time for lunch. It's fun to do the little things. Um, on the way on it came with the wax crayons and you could write your name, sure, on it, and so that part wouldn't die. And then the one I took on it out that we used to do, I think there's an art to it. We wanted art, but you would put a pen through the top of the egg knife. That would eight face day. And blow it out when it's warm. That would be warm. Yes, yes. And blow it out. And then you could make it, decorate the one at Easter egg tray. Did you ever do that? You hang them like I was going to make an Easter egg tray out there. No, that's a tradition in some countries where it's just like electric. Yeah. Well, they're doing full on other ones, but it's, you know, it's going to be fun. And I would also do the standard trip of my sisters when you die. Oh, hey. Oh, hey. You should eat this one. Yeah. And I have so many tricks. Now, how about when you were driving going over to, like, your grandmother's and her, it's always at every single gas station, everywhere, we're selling the Easter flowers.

8:03That's it. And then you would get, like, say Easter lilies, although we're showing you as aliens, Easter. That's, it's terrible to make. So an Easter lily would be the traditional one. You would see a church all over. It was edited, like, smells. You either love it or eat it. Right. But if it's great for us, then I forgot. If you just pour it in an Easter lily Easter flower, it might be smell. They're so fragrant. Yeah. I'm not done. I like them. Things they remind her of phenols. Because it's either like death and renewal. Yeah. One or the other, yeah. But I don't mind them. I'll put those ones out. But I had a tradition where my father was really big on visiting the graves. A people who passed away. And making sure they were flat, fresh flowers. Nothing plastic. It has to be fresh flowers. Or whatever. Or Easter. Or Easter. Or Easter. Yeah. Yeah. It's a lot of the timers. They smell like lilacs. Or like the Easter lilies. Yeah, Easter lilies. Yeah. And one of those hydrangeas. The little ones. Oh, yes. They smell really good. Yeah. Yeah. So that was a big thing.

9:05And I don't know if you did this in your hospital. Good Friday. Before Easter. Between noon and 3 p.m. Now radio. Now television shows. Yeah. You just had to be really quiet now. Because Jesus died in 3 o'clock. Yeah. Yeah. So we know what my dad did. But he was very big in our camp with church. And before they built the church. We had mass in the basement of our school. Basically an unfinished basement. That's why I was an altar boy. And so when they needed somebody to build a big old altar. I had built it. 18? Yeah. It was there for years. And then on the only Thursday. They bring out 12 dudes. To be the last summer. The apostles. Through the disciples. Yeah. And the parish priest would wash their meat. Wow. Oh. That would be washing the meat. I think a lot of people.

10:05Yeah. That's it. A thing that happens. Yeah. Holy Thursday Mass. My husband and will take the kids. And there's confession tonight. That was our big, what I went to. The church on Sunday. That was like the big machine being like you should go in a confession this week. Because that's the whole thing. And so it's your soul. That's right. Do you do? It's called reconciliation. That's it. And do you do face to face? Are you sure you do go inside the box? I don't like all the ones. But they're only my son. Had a week a little bit this week. So I told him I'd take that kid over there. So at a clock, that kid's going to confession. He's got a whole list. That's scary. That's scary. It's what it's like being reflective. And it's like asking for like it's giving to yourself some perspective about your life choices. It's going to be fine. And that's it. That's it. That's it. That's it.

Would Mike be sticking around with a second block to guys could do some of the traditions. One of them, oh, we were just saying my husband has been lair. Jesus Christ is super-star on a Holy Week beginning. And so we're looking at this one. There was Easter慢慢. Yeah, sure. Hold on. They definitely ... There you got Easter慢慢. There's Easter慢慢. They have the records. Stuffed in carrots. carrots. So, Sussanio, guys, to correctly, let's take a look at some of the traditions for Easter around the world. I should adopt this one, water-flating day-use, and you ambush them. Because this might be some alcohol, but whatever alcohol, this one. So, is it supposed to be good luck? Is it bad luck? Is it bad luck? I don't know whether it is. Yeah, you got it. It's all that. It's all good. It's fun. Especially when it's cold outside.

12:58Look, they're working with you guys. It's cold. And then in France, what do you think you would do in France? Turquoise cheese. But you shook it up. But, you know, one of the examples, of course, is the egg. Of course. They make a lot of omelettes there. So, they make the world's largest omelettes. And then they serve it out to everybody around. And, you know, they make up better than everybody else. So, they're very fluffy. That is a secret if I do that. I think that's so much fun. And then it's sweetened after Easter. And actually, might be a particular Friday. The kids dress up, and they put on under show you. This is the one take time. Because all of a sudden, the man explained from take time with the kids still. Okay, here it is. Why am I dressed like this? And what am I doing? It's not going central station, trying to give a way. If it's to random strangers. Well, there's a reason for all of this, I promise, that it's not easy for us to believe that the witches flew to blue good

13:58out the fence and party with the devil. And the West Coast also made an use of bone fires and firecrackers. It's their way to witches. So, then they, so the only kids do that. They put these big red circles on their teaks. And they dress up as Easter witches. And they go around basically trick or treating and sweet at the moment. Shared wheel witches. So, yes, we get to do their good to be easures. Here's my favorite one of my shine gloves in that room, too. Yeah, it's a little star too much, yeah. And instead of obviously, we do the Easter bunny in Australia, they have something called the Easter Bumpy, which is this creature right there. It's so cute. That's what they use on all of their, and there's no Easter bunny. It's a little like a rat that has funny ears. So, I think those are super cute. And then, my siblings will go with for me to, and they do kite flying. They build the kite farms, which is actually really neat. So, that's great. And they're from Udashort. You got it. But it's like, you know,

15:02that whole symbolism of ascension. Sure. I think that's really true or something, but once we're around the lines, where is it on a kite? You know, we used to make our own kite sand. It can't be, um, uh, finger sacks. Wow. And then, like, my dad would end up serving down, yeah, okay, normally going, okay, dad built an author, certainly could have built a kite, yeah, also would. And you know, I had the, it was like, that was so favorite thing to build. Because he said today earlier in the show that he got furniture. He liked, uh, he did quite a few M tables, and he crafted, uh, memory boxes for all of his children. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what we meant. Yeah. Can you bring it in? I don't know. I don't think so. I'm going to ask over it. I know Shadowbox, they sometimes call it. Absolutely. Yes. It was called a Shadowbox. Yeah. But anything, I just put all of your, um, you know, sentimental objects, scrapbook, playbook, you know,

16:03I would, I would, you know, like, I would put it in pictures. Do you have it? Yeah, it is not in pictures. Oh, I don't know. We're going to, well, the fact that you still have it is great. Yes. Yes. We're going to see that show in town. One of the show in town died. Yes, that's, all right. Yeah, these are the giveaway days, but I'm Kelly calls them when to get the palms and then we can have them. Yeah, I needed that. James said the trip where you drink water. Mm-hmm. And you're going to get told why. Yeah,

17:05it's a miracle. Thank you, Dad. So, well, that's our fun to give on us in any traditions. I'll check out through it, which I haven't had a chance to do, which is fun. We usually go down the shore. We've done that a number of times. Yes, all sorts of really fun. I never find a spring. What do you serve? What was your Easter dinner? Was it lamb? Was it ham? Ham? Always ham. Ham? Ham? The way my mother made a great pot roast, though. So something went a weird pose. Did you have pineapple on the top of the ham? Yeah. Did you know I just did that the other night for the first time my kids were like, did not understand that they had cut it like right corded out and they cut like the rings for a fresh pineapple and they were not having that though. Like, get them on a different way. Okay, but do they go together? Yeah, no. I think it was flavorful. I bounced that pineapple on my hand. What about the cloves? My mother used to stick the cloves in the ham. Okay, okay, okay, okay, I have a columbum in the ham. All that looks like a honey baked ham. Oh my gosh, I used to work at my first job as a bakery and those things we couldn't keep

18:11them in stock, but my husband said, he's your time. He's to call me that coach. Today's my first time. And stuff. Well, I really love that. I'm going to sacrifice any tradition. Like any holiday food, you know, we were just missing one of our staff members on a charge. We would always make the eggs. We have the coconut cream with the peanut butter eggs and we'd sell them here as a fundraiser. So I love those. Those are, you know, I only buy them this time of year. They're homemade. They're the best. Yeah, they're really good. They're traditional. It's true, traditional. I know. Like, right up in the wrong direction. Yeah, and there you go. Our children are really good at it. How do you guys heard about the yellow cap coke that's going around? I've seen that. Tell me. It's apparently like, you know, the bottles, the coke, the glass bottles. Yeah. It's called the Mexican Coke, but it has a real cane sugar in it. But this is like a two-liter bottle. Apparently they make it for Passover. But it's got the yellow cap. Okay, yet, right. To differentiate it, so now people are buying it up because it's like the pure cane sugar coke in a two-liter bottle. Instead of just a little glass bottle. I was two-day-years-old. Wait, let me get that out of here. I was yesterday and years old. I know. I know. So, like, to your point, the Passover tradition. So, we would always get nuts. We don't lose the eyes. And very good friends. I would go over to their family for Santa dinner. So, I think, you know, whatever you celebrate, I love how each thing on the table has symbolism. The Santa dinner. It's just, it's just beautiful.

24:53Yeah. That's fun. Apple's on the all of that. Yeah. Thank you. Dan. That's a very famous floor. Your double-axe. Yes. And one year I was quite a while ago. My sister, Amber, used to host an Easter every year for the family of Baltimore. And so I decided to up my game for double-axe and make double-axe. It looked like little chicks. Because I saw a picture on Pinterest. And it didn't turn out real well, home. All the left is what they were supposed to look like. And yeah, you did a little tiny bits of olive in your eyes and a little bit of curry. But I think it was a little too warm, maybe too much mayonnaise. And there's something in my head. So that was the birth of a segment because I ended up doing a segment for years called Pindness where I would try things that looked so perfect, not interested, never quite turned out that way in relation. And I think it was the glue gun.

25:54And finally, did you win? I can't take it anymore. It was fun. It was very different at the same time. And I had fun eating new on Pinterest. I was just a little bit interested. But every holiday, there's something you can do and try on your own. But yeah, one day, maybe I'll call a tempos. Check. Thanks again. It seemed it does better. All right, well, let's talk about some of your favorite Easter candies. I like the traditions. I'm not always a huge fan of the peeps. So, but, you know, people are talking about what their favorite Easter candies are. And we'll go through the area. So, the top thing in the list is Reese's Pieces is number one on the list. Okay. And then, Palmer's, oh gosh, I'm about to get in. This is going crazy. So, we like, apparently. Oh. All right. Okay. The problem with the double crust little bit, I don't know what that one is. I have to see it. Yeah. The Easter Bunny came by M&M's. Oh, it looks like a candy cane with the head. Oh.

26:54And it was inside. Maybe I think that was more of a Christmas one now. I hope to see what the Easter Bunny has made with it as a picture of it. Probably. And then, a lint gold bunny. That's a good, that's a good, already chocolate. And then, they just name it really specific, like, different kinds of bunnies that people like. I'm a big fan of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cream Egg. That's always pretty good. That is delicious. And the mouse will stroll over solid bunny. So, this is the, this is not a whole place. As you see what's in there. They don't really have it specifically. It's just by a region. So, it's the Reese's Peanut Butter Flutters gift bag. I don't know how it is. I've got other stuff in it. I don't know. But the Kinder Joy, my kids love that one. And then, it looks like Delaware, as with some of the Horeba, which is going to be my gummies. And I've totally down for your, or whatever, the gummy thing is. They're, I think, the sour Easter grass. I've never even seen that. Who has even heard of such a thing? Delaware, where do you even find it? Let us know. Okay, so let's play some games.

Project Hail Mary, highly recommend go to the theater and see it because you want to see space like the way it's meant to be. And it's such a good story. Like there's so many plots, ways, and you don't really know what's happening. And the guys link, um, and like the fact that the Rocky is like actually a puppet so that he was interacting with something and said I'm like the AI CGI. Very cool, recommend go. My brother and his wife brought the book, and they went to the theater and saw it at the movie. They take theater and the tavern on Tester County, made a dinner on a show. They said it was so good. Pat, what'd you watch it? So I started the second season of Paradise. Oh my gosh. I was like this. I was like, don't watch it before you go to bed because then I couldn't sleep. I was like, oh my gosh. Yeah, I highly recommend it. It really is, um, better than the first. It's good, and I enjoyed the first. Oh yeah, what'd you watch it?

32:05All right. Um, I'm watching season three of Reasonable Doubt. I don't know who though. It's really good. It's about this lawyer, and she gets into all these criminal cases and stuff. But I get, I think it gets better. I don't know. I'm just being honest. I can't think of anything better than that. Sorry. Rose, what'd you watch it? I know that you're good either, but I watch the movie, is this thing on? No, no, we'll learn that. Omar, it's good. I really enjoyed it. Um, I don't think it's for everybody, but it's the nice, like, your own funny night kind of. But, Vincent, what'd you watch it? Oh, but do you like the passion of the Christ? Do you do any stuff on that kind of thing? I don't care. I'm thinking about watching it with my kids, actually. We invested in the Ten Commandments. I've gotten eight so far. I'm curious to see what the last tale may be. No, I just finished reading the book. I was previously reading. I just started reading it.

33:07Because I am watching the movie, but I'm reading it right now. I thought it was excellent. So I read that book. I met on your sister's recommendation. I'm reading Theo of Gold and. Oh, that's great. And then I watched, um, and I'm highly recommend. So I've filled it up. You always does a one-book Philadelphia. And so, the one book is called. Let me think of what it's called. Um, numbers. Um, are missing hearts. Celeste Aime is the author. She also did little fires everywhere. That one is, um, really good. I do it. It's not even a long book. So that's a really good one.
